Metro is my go to HVAC service provider. They are very responsive and helpful and very service conscious. This time my a/c started blowing hot air and indoor temp was 89 when I knew I had a problem. I phoned too early for normal businesses but Metro understood and graciously put in service order for me. Rather than next day they were able to do same day and it was 97 in my house when their tech Tim arrived. He quickly identified the problem, made the repair by replacing a part and got it cooling. I got a cool nights sleep and I’m grateful for their prompt service. They have done my heat maintenance as well and always the same great result. I’m a happy customer.
Jose V. was great. He made a thorough diagnostic, took photos of worn parts in the compressor and explained what the priorities were, giving me sensible options. He explained things clearly, and gave me tips on prolonging the life of my system. MES were able to send him out within a couple of hours on a very hot day, and he exceeded all my expectations: efficient, well-trained, courteous, and honest. Thanks for the great service!
Tim did a very good job on the post install quality check on my new ac and furnace. He was professional, very thorough and answered all my questions. A real asset to MES and a tech I would request by name again.
Technician named Waymon came out today. Did an excellent job making sure that my unit was operating at peak performance. Really took his time and did quality work and let me know some things to look out for to avoid problems later. Highly recommend!
Responded to request for service in less than 24 hours. Adam was very professional and knowledgeable about everything. He did everything he could to repair our existing unit but sometimes and old unit is just passed its prime! Gave us an estimate on replacement while on-site at a great price! We will be using this company for replacement and all of our future HVAC needs! Highly recommended!!
Waymon Joyner is a fine service tech sent by MES and who has been with the company for 19 years! My husband bought the A/C unit from MES 1 1/2 yrs ago and the compressor unexpectedly went out only 4 weeks after its seasonal checkup. Waymon spent several hours getting the unit up and running and made sure it was working to our satisfaction before he left. Waymon is courteous, knowledgeable and toke the time to explain what happened, why it happened and what we need to do in the future to keep it running well. Thank you for the GREAT service Waymon!!!
They were amazing. They are friendly, professional and respectful. They also had the best deal for a new a/c unit. Ive used them before and never a bad experience. I had a tiny issue with the new unit and they were out within 24 hrs to fix. Amazing people.
I have a 1 &1/2 year old Trane AC unit. The compressor stopped working the other day. Waymon Joyner from MES spent a several hours working to solve my problem. This is after a technician had done my annual checkup just 3 weeks before and said all was fine. Waymon spent the time necessary to tune up my AC and get it working correctly.
I initially went w MES, a large HVAC company in DFW. They have fixed things twice previously w no issues. On 10 August 2021, The tech (Sean) from MES Metro Express Service, after a lengthy physical inspection of my AC unit and air handlers, said my unit was fried and COMPLETELY UNREPAIRABLE. Ill repeat this: absolutely no way to bandaid or fix it in anyway, he said. He pushed me to replace both the AC and the air handler for $8000, a reduced price. He said this effectively was my only option. He called his office twice in front of me to sort out availability and price.Because I have run several businesses and am a natural skeptic, I then called Jerry Donaldson Heating/AC out of Grapevine based on a friend of a friend reference. He came out today and replaced the capacitor, all in for $135 in 15 minutes. Capacitors sell for about $14 to $20 on Amazon. Cool air flowing in and feels great. No other issues. What is the moral to this story? Think on that. I called their offices today to talk to Seans supervisor and so far, no return call. You get one guess as to the subject matter.45 days later the unit is running fantastic. Did I save $8000? We have been using Metro Express Service now for about 8 years and dont plan on going anywhere else. If we have to wait a few days that is okay because we know that we are getting skilled service. This year Jesus was our technican and we was the BEST. He informed us what was needed and after he was done he showed us the worn out part to let you know what was causing the issue. Jesus was AWESOME!
Adam Eckl explained about the repair cost. He came down some on the price of a new furnace. The old furnace was over 23 years old. Since Adam is not a pressure person I decided to buy a new furnace. The new furnace works much better than the old one. M E S worked on my newer A/C unit and did a great job also. Thanks
One of my A/C units was not working and when I called MES they dispatched a technician in an hour so. The technician was very professional, found the problem very quickly, showed me the components that had failed and told me how much it was going to cost. I asked him to verify the other unit as well and he told me that it looked ok. Great job MES!! I will be sure to recommend when someone asks me for an A/C repair company.

We were looking for an a/c specialist to check out our upstairs cooling unit which seemed to have a broken fan. After reaching out on Angies list, we were contacted by phone within the same day to schedule a technician to come to our house in a few days. Adam was succinct and professional. He found the problem and let us know that we would only need a special-order part, not an entire new motor as another hvac technician had tried to suggest.Though he wasnt very communicative as we waited for delivery of that part, he did not leave us hanging. Adam came by as soon as the part was delivered and fixed our issues! He did have to come back shortly after but to turn on some switch that he forgot it was a minor issue and he was took care of it immediately.We asked for Adam again recently when we had some more summer cooling issues. Adam came the same day! He refilled our freon and cleared our pipes, and we could not be happier with the quality or speed of service!
I used this company to come out and repair my ac system. I was very pleased and I learn a lot about my system and how to prevent my system from condensation all over my floors surrounding the ac unit in my garage. The tech was very friendly and well trained. I was happy to call this company . And bill was worth paying.. I will call them again if I have anymore problems. LC / Wylie, TX
I always ask service techs to explain what they are seeing and why we need to repair/replace a given part. Our service tech, Sean Bryan, inspected both AC units and was patient enough to walk me through the issues and recommended repairs. Ill use Metro Express Service again in the future. - Nick B
BEWARE!!Dont trust these guys!!RIP OFF!!! Had an issue with the AC not working, called on a saturday and the sent Byron out on Sunday afternoon. Showed up at 10:40 and found a loose wire at the thermostat, air was working fine after he pushed the wire into the terminal. Then spent 20 minutes outside playing around with the unit which in new and said everything looks good. Spent 10 minutes in his truck writing up an invoice and charged me 89 for the service fee plus an additional 75 dollars for pushing the wiring in in the thermostat for a total of $165 and was here for less than 40 minutes. Would not recommend these guys to anyone.
Tracy was kind enough to get me same day service on literally the hottest day of the year. Jonathan had the problem diagnosed within 15 minutes and had me up and running in 30 minutes. A huge thank you to both of them for preventing a very miserable night for me.
MES has been servicing our heating and AC for years. They are always professional, courteous, and on time. Jesus Navejas is our usual service person. You could not find a more professional courteous person anywhere. He arrives on time and is conscientious and extremely thorough. I had contacted originally thinking it was not a dire circumstance BUT it turned out to be one ! I would Recommend if you have to change an appt to Definitely Call rather than text as I did, especially on weekends. IT was MY bad and they took the time to Call ME and were able to come out last Night/Late Afternoon so that is to be COMMENDED. I got Tim as my technician, and let me tell you, HE was Great considering how much trouble he went to in order to get the original part Off ! Very Imaginative in his solving the issue without having to contact another tech to come and assist. They did Waive the service call fee which is So Helpful in these times. And were able to offer a monthly payment option which helps my tight budget so THANK YOU Metro Express. I already Bookmarked their Website and I am definitely going to contact when it is time for advised Maintenance. I slept Really Good last Nite - Please stay safe and my Thanks to All. This is the best company ever. My ac broke on Thursday June 21. I called my Home warranty company Total Protect. Told them about the issue and they send a tech out on Friday afternoon June 22. He diagnosed it and said my fan motor on my outside compressor was broken. Because of the HOW company the service provider, Oak Point HVAC had to send in their service order and then the HOW company had to order the part. I called on Wednesday, June 27 to the HOW just to check status and they never received the order for service from Oak Point HVAC. I fought with the HOW and they said there was nothing they could do till they recd the OFS. Wednesday afternoon June 27 I called Metro Express Service on my own.amd they had a tech, Sean at my house by 530pm. He also said the fan motor was broken and the could fix the next day. I called the HOW and again they said there was nothing they could do. I called MES and they came out that afternoon Thursday June 28 and fixed my ac. The tech, Sean was totally AWESOME and now I have ac again. I live in Carrollton TX and it has been extremely hot but thanks to Sean and MES we will sleep cool this evening. I would recommend MSE to anyone. I must also mention Shanda which is the most fantastic dispatcher. Thank you so much and bless you all at MES. A very happy customer.

I used to Metro Express Service to change out both AC Units at my house and was very pleased with the service and cost. I was walked through the whole process and Metro Express Service showed up on time and finished the job ahead of schedule. Our utility bill has been cut by 40%-60%. I will recommend Metro Express Service looking for AC repairs or new AC units.

The tech guaranteed that he will be back out to relocate the thermostat and replace it with a new one. No calls!!! If you are looking to replace or repair your unit PLEASE think twice before using this company.
I called Metro Express in late January about a problem I was having with my electronic air filter. The receptionist was very helpful and took all of my information. We agreed on a window for a technician to arrive to review my situation. The tech, Adam, arrived on time and was careful to put on shoe socks so as not to track n any outside debris. Adam diagnosed the problem and proposed a solution which included new parts and the installation of an ultraviolet lighting system to eliminate mold in the duct system. We agreed on the price and he left to get the parts. He returned and installed the parts to fix the filter and added the UV light. All in all, a very satisfactory experience. I would recommend these folks.
Hats off to Mr. Wally and his professional office staff as well as outstanding technician James. We had an issue to arise which can happen. Being the outstanding company everything was taken care of quickly , fairly and honestly. This is most important to customers that a company is honorable. Our technician not only resolved the issue but found the root issue - imagine that going over and beyond not just the minimal. Being a Veteran , and in the housing industry I am truly so thankful for this company. In our great country more companies should be like Metro Express.

Everything was done well, except the technician used my water hose to rinse off A/C, but failed to return the hose to its original place. Being disabled made it very hard for me to do it. He was polite.
Metro Express Service is the first call we make whenever we need air conditioning repair in our Dallas home and our other rental properties throughout the DFW. Called to get quote on clogged drain line. Lady said $60-$250.00. Then I asked her, if they came out & I felt their price was to high would I be charged a Service Call? Heres her responseOur service fee is waived for mechanical repair. This is a maintenance issues so fee would be charged So What the heck.... to me any breakdown of A/C is maintenance related!

A CON !!!!contacted Metro Express Services regarding leaking water.MES stated service call was $49.95 Service man came out went to atticI heard a vacuum while in house, then service man showed me the problem after vacuuming and a bill $244.95. Service man stated problem will return tomorrow. I asked what was charge for he stated vacuuming and then stated I needed a condensation pan for $350.00. The problem do not get fixed !!!!!! and the service man did not discuss or ask me if he could vacuum. They charged me $195.00 for vacuuming water out of condensation pan.Contacted MES no results stated the ticket stated I wanted it fixed. !!!!BE WARE
First off, Im not an HVAC tech, however I lived next to one for 15 years. I know that it takes longer than 10 minutes to put 4 lbs of R-22 freon in a system. My system has has been leaking since it was installed 18 years ago, when the house was built. Ive never had to put more than 2 lbs in the system each year in those 18 years. The house was cooling, just not great. The tech channeled his inner a/c guru and determined that it would need 3 to 4 lbs, without even charging the system. Wow, he was right ....3.9 lbs of R-22, $451.00 total for 20 minutes. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice....wont happen next time.

James Wheeler of MES came to my home after A-1 wanted to charge me $12K for a new HVAC system and reconfiguration of my attic. James recommended a new blower which he installed for $500! James immediately understood the situation and utilized his experience and knowledge to save me thousands of dollars. I cant thank James enough. MES is now my go-to HVAC supplier.

I hate I chose this company! 10,000 dollars later and a new system installed by them, I have had 2 ceiling leaks due to improper installation. I’m still waiting on them to fix it. Phone calls are followed by lies and no guarantees.
I received an ad from this company and went to their website to check their Advertised Specials. I was told when I called that they do not service Frisco. I pointed out that their website said they did and gave a breif bio on Frisco. They set an appointment, only to have a supervisor call me and tell me that they were not going to come out to my house. I asked for a manager only to be hung up on. I called back and the dispatcher said that if I call, she was instructed to HANG UP on me. I dont know about you, but doesnt sound like they are working with the BEST talent they can hire (as their web site says). As the supervisor said, the website is wrong....hmmmmmm

Contacted MES around 12:30 pm today, spoke with Shanda, I told her my AC was not working.She stated someone could come this afternoon between 2 and 5 pm. Adam arrived before 3:00 pm. And had the AC functioning within ten minutes of his arrival! I am a very happy customer!

The guy came out and told us we had freon leaking and we should replace the whole unit for over $4800, we had another company come out and they guy said looked at it and said they it just clogged and cleaned it out and now it works.
