This company has shown genuine care for my needs. I had an overflow sensor problem that I did not know or really understood its use and when I pointed out the overflow of the condensation to the outside was overflowing inside they said it’s a plumbing issue. Wasn’t charged and really had timely and helpful insight on the issue. 100% recommend their services.

This is a company that actually cares about their client. Not only is their knowledge above and beyond, they always take the time to educate me as to what is going on and to give me options. I just moved into an older home and my AC stopped working shortly after turning it on the first time. Robert and Eddie showed up to my house right on schedule and solved the problem in under an hour! Recently had my air go out and Mechanical Air Design came highly recommended by a friend. She was right...Logan & Chris were awesome! Though I needed a new compressor, I did some research and they were more than reasonable for a new Trane. It broke on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon I had AC again. They showed me exactly what happened to my old one and did not charge me for the initial visit. Robert and Drew also came out a few weeks later and put a HVAC vent in my bathroom. They were quick, friendly and very reasonably priced. They are now my go to for HVAC issues and checkups. I highly recommend Mechanical Air Design!👍🏼

Dont review many companies, but these guys rock. In the past, we had HVAC work done by one of the guys who advertises on TV all the time. When they left, I had zero trust that they corrected the issue and/or charged me fairly. Was referred to Mechanical and they have been awesome and trustworthy!

Once again, the folks at Mechanical Air Design have saved the day! Our AC went out at 8 PM yesterday and I called and left a message last night. They called me back first thing this morning and less than an hour later my AC was fixed. For a very reasonable price.They were recommended to me by a neighbor several years ago and they are deserving of all their 5 star ratings!Super pleased with Andrew and all the fine folks at Mechanical Air Design!

Weve actually used them for around about 15 years now. Their integrity and professionalism cannot be overstated. Theyve never sold us anything we didnt need or tried to upsell us. If they fix it, its fixed.

I was without heating when temps were below freezing. Josh got Logan out the next morning, but unfortunately parts needed to be ordered. Josh sent two guys out the next morning, they ran into a problem and had to go get another part. They returned and within minutes they had my heat restored. The most outstanding point is that they determined the motor they installed back in July, less than 6 months ago had a faulty shaft, such that it was operating in a way that the blades on my blower wheel were damaged and caused the entire system to shut down. And because that motor was still under warranty and it caused my system to malfunction, I was not charged one penny. How many companies would do that? Only the most honest ones, and Mechanical Air is most certainly an honest company. 10-star rating of a 5-star choice!!!!! Thank you to all at Mechanical Air...

Chris with Mechanical Air came by to find out why my AC unit wasnt running. They took the time to take all the necessary steps to find the problem and clearly demonstrated to me what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. It would have been easy for them to tell me that needed a brand new unit, but because they have integrity and a solid work ethic, they worked to find the problem, test their diagnosis, and provide a solution. Another company, Texas Aire, came out and told me I needed a brand new A/C system and did very little to find the cause of the problem. They were more concerned with selling me a new system than trying to find the problem. Mechanical Air tested the fan, the compressor and the electrical system and discovered that I just need a new board. Thank goodness I found Mechanical Air Design. Ill never work with anyone else for my HVAC needs. Thank you!!!!

Mike and his son are great technicians- knowledgeable and efficient. They did my annual AC check; I needed a new capacitor, $40. Mike thoroughly answered my questions and confirmed that Mechanical’s techs do not get commission on parts and service. I appreciate knowing this because last year a different HVAC company tried to upsell me to the tune of $3820.

I’ve requested services from Mechanical Air Design two times now (today is 12/29/23) and I can’t say enough positive things about this company. The first call was to replace a capacitor on my HVAC unit. The second call was for an annual maintenance and smart thermostat install. I first called around to a few of the bigger local companies who all would NOT commit to a price over the phone and would ONLY guarantee a service fee for showing up to provide a quote. Mechanical Air Design, by contrast, answered my call, listened to the outcome that I wanted, listed the minimum amount of services I would need to get it done, offered a really fair price, and then put me on the schedule in a flash. Not only that, I felt that their pricing was pretty fair and the number that they gave me on the phone was EXACTLY the number I paid after the work was done. Also, many of the employees are from the local DFW area, which means they really and truly know the building and neighborhood standards well. Logan and his teammate are deeply experienced in HVAC systems with decades of experienced between them, and specifically, ones that have been sold and installed in the local DFW area. The kind folks at Mechanical Air Design will always be my first call for any HVAC issues from now on and they will always be the first company I recommend to others. As an added bonus, the techs were really friendly to my dogs, too!

Have used this company for approximately 35 years, they are extremely reliable, will come in an emergency, always on time or will call if being delayed, have installed new AC/Heating units for me and I have been extremely satisfied with their performance. After 25 plus years in our home weve had a number of service providers. Some great and some that you wanted to kick to the curb. Who do you trust? Do you believe the yelp review?One Friday in July our air unit decided to stop cooling. I tried two businesses in my contacts but was looking at one to two weeks before they could come. I noticed a truck in my neighbors driveway with Mechanical Air Design on the truck doors. Out of desperation I called and was told someone would be out the next day. A Saturday. I hung up thinking right, I bet they never come.Robert was the technician who came, a smile on his face and ready to work. He took a look at both the inside and outside units, explaining everything to us as he went along. The unit was fine, but the recently replaced thermostat was the problem. A tiny clip that no one seemed to know what it was for had been left out. Good thing recycling hadnt been picked up. The tiny clip was found and Robert saved the day. Who knows what another company might of suggested was needed. Cold air was blowing again, and everyone was happy.Theyve gotten us thru the great freeze (broken pipes flooded out unit in our basement), heavy rains that flooded the basement (same unit went out), some sort of condenser thingy and most recently redid air duct and floor return in our bathroom (a badly fixed broken pipe was leaking and somehow the plumber buried the air duct so the heat was just blowing loose).My advice to you is to put Mechanical Air Design on your speed dial! They will more than do the job for you. They are also great at confirming appointments and communicating before, during and after the job. Theyve kept us staying warm and cool for over 10 years and we plan to keep using them.

I was able to be placed on their schedule the same day. They had an opening earlier than expected and came out quickly. Logan diagnosed the issue and replaced the control board which fixed the units problem. They were in and out quickly and did a great job.

Id had another company come out to determine why one of my AC compressors had stopped working. They told me it was dead and the system needed to be replaced. They gave me a quote for $9k. I also got several quotes from other companies, all around the same price.On the advice of one of my family members, I contacted Mechanical Air Design to get a quote from them. Andrew came out and gave me a very comprehensive explanation of what it would take to replace my AC system. He then checked the dead AC unit and found that it was actually a very minor issue and easy fix. I was extremely impressed and grateful for his honesty, integrity and professionalism. Everyone I talked to was nice and honest. They worked me into their schedule. Another company tried to sell me a whole new furnace because mine is 18 years old but thy told me my furnace was in great condition. They only replaced the part that was broken after showing me what was broken. They explained everything, were on time and professional.

Mechanical Air Design was recommended by my usual AC repair company as they were fully booked. Mechanical Air Design was able to come out the same day I called. Chris did a great job at a reasonable price.

This was the best HVAC experience we have had. Not only was it easy to get an appointment. They called an hour before they knew they would be at our house to confirm the exact time. I can’t say enough good things about this business. Our AC went out Saturday evening, Sunday we had another business come give us a quote and was charged a $200 fee. The quote gave us two options, neither of which sounded reasonable. I called Mechanical Air Design Monday morning and the technician was at our house in 45 minutes. Logan was extremely professional and within an hour he had figured out a very creative solution to repair an electrical board on the outside unit. We may have to replace the board in the future, but it was the difference in a $1250 solution proposed by the first company (and they said they recommend we just replace the whole thing but it’s only 8 years old) and a $140 simple fix by Logan. We will 100% be using this company for repairs and eventually the replacement of our unit, as well as anything else we might need that they do! They may not have made a ton of money from this job today but they earned our business for life. Thank you guys!!!!

A/C went out on a Saturday night. Called the office and left a message hoping to get on the list for Monday. Received a call on Sunday saying they could check it out that day! I have another unit and told them I could wait until Monday. As it turned out, my21 year old unit finally died and I needed a new system. Guys came out and within 4 hours they had the furnace and A/C completely replaced. Great service and super employees

I hired Mechanical Air Design based on a recommendation from friends to provide an assessment and routine maintenance for the HVAC systems in a house I recently purchased. Andrew and Tanner were terrific, providing me a thorough explanation of my home’s systems and recommendations and options. They did a few things to improve safety and efficiency but most importantly provided a quick education to me on what I needed to know as a homeowner. These guys are so good; weve used them since 2011. They are so responsive! I left them a VM @ their office number about 7 AM letting them know our opstairs a/c was out, received an email response by 9:15 that they would be out between 11 & 3, and by 1:30 they were there. By 3, we had air again. Great service!!!!!

They returned my call within 20 minutes on a holiday weekend. Robert instructed me to turn off my AC and turn on the fan so my coil can thaw out. He showed up two hours later and repaired the AC. Robert was professional and explained everything he was doing very well.

Robert and Drew did a great job of servicing and repair a potential problem that they discovered in the older attic blower system that would have left us without A/C. That is not what you want to have happen in August or early September. The out side system was replaced by Chris last summer. He was quick and did a first class job. Dave, Andrew, and others I have dealt with are gems. They consistently go above and beyond in servicing my HVAC. They kept an old system running when others were only willing to install a new system, including crawling through an extremely difficult attic in the middle of summer to install a new high side pressure line. They replaced the last leg of ductwork to the far end of the house so that part of the house is now cool. When my old systems compressor was nearing end of life, they gave me a great price on a new system. There was no pressure to change out both the inside and the outside, unlike companies I dealt with years before who only wanted to sell me an all-new system (as well as replace all of my ducts). They did a gorgeous rebuild of an awful Frankenstein of a plenum during the install. I am very grateful they were recommended to me by a family friend years ago, especially after dealing with other companies.

I was dealing with an emergency at my house and Josh was able to come take care of it later that afternoon. I was at work and he kept in touch with me the entire time and let me know what was going on. I appreciated him very much!
