This is my 2nd time using Potters Appliance Repair and again, we were not disappointed. Josh was quick to respond to my call about my dishwasher not draining properly. He came out and immediately diagnosed the problem. He is professional, courteous, charges a fair price and doesnt charge more for coming out on the weekend. Highly recommend!

Josh was very prompt in becoming available to look at my fridge that was no longer cooling or freezing. He came out with short notice, diagnosed the issue, and cleared out the backed up fridge to buy me time to order the part needed for it. He was very kind, professional and efficient. He also checked the air conditioning unit that had stopped cooling the day before. He ordered the part needed for it and came back to install it the very next day. Immediately the unit began cooling and made my fiance and I very happy customers. Oh!, and did I mention his prices are super affordable. Excellent service! I would definitely recommend Potters Appliance Repair.

Josh was incredible at fixing our dryer. He stuck to his quoted price, even when the effort and labor involved was quite a bit more than he initially thought. He is very helpful, professional, can be trusted, honest and dependable. He charge me only $40.00 where other places can be charging me double this price or me. This guy was amazing with us! Highly recommend him. We were moving and the movers refused to remove our fridge doors because they were electrical. We called him and he came the same day, removed and put back the doors, also hooked up our washer and dryer for no extra charge. Did a perfect job and was very professional and honest. Will definitely use him again!

Very thankful Potters appliance repair was open on Saturday. He came out fixed our refrigerator and charged us a fair price. I will use them again if necessary. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good job done at a fair price.

This guy is a fraud. I suspect he fraudulently wrote many of the positive reviews. I know because he used the same alias to review my law firm even though he was never a client of the firm. And right after I posted a review of his other business, he ignorantly posted yet another review of my law firm using his real name: Josh Potter. He came to my personal residence to fix an appliance, did not fix it, demanded payment for services he did not perform, and then became verbally abusive. Then he posted a fraudulent review about my law firm. When the competent appliance repair people came and fixed the problem this guy was unable to fix, they agreed that he did nothing of value.Read through the non-helpful reviews on Yelp. Lots of one star reviews that sound legitimate to me. Also, many of the five star reviews sound fake. Stay away from this guy.

BEWARE....I WISH I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE USING HIM!My experience was very similar to another review. I called Potter for a water dispenser repair on a Samsung refrigerator. He sold me that he knew what he was doing and would guarantee his work for 1 year. He left day 1 with water not coming out of the dispenser correctly, but assured me if it didnt fix itself over time he would come back as part of his 1 yr warranty. No progress made on the next visit because he needed a new part and assured my wife that if he couldnt fix it he would refund our money. 2 weeks go by and now he has refuses to fix the problem and wont refund our money because this is costing him too much time and is actually ignoring his own warranty. What is the point of a warranty?? I paid over $300 for him to leave me in the same situation I was in before I called. **Please dont use this guy**

This guy is fraud. I dont think he even knows well how to repair dishwashers. He replaced the motor on my dishwasher but did not install it properly causing the dishwasher to stop working properly shortly after his repair. When I first contacted him after his repair, he came to check on what is going on with the dishwasher only to have no clue with what was wrong with it. He said he will do more research on it and come back. When I contacted him again he said he ordered some additional replacement parts and said he will be come as soon as those parts arrive. He repeatedly missed his appointment to come back and fix the dishwasher,.One day he told me he was on his way to my home to come fix it with the new replacement part but he never showed up. I am unable to reach him and looks like he has blocked my number. At the time of repair he offered a one year warranty on parts and labor, but he is not honoring that warranty now. Please stay away from and save your money.

These guys are not dependable. Would not recommend. Made an appointment for 9AM, at 10:20 they answered my call just to tell me they wouldn’t be able to show. Bad service.

This guy doesnt quit till the job is done right, right, right.Josh initial came out to replace some stats...wow, he walked into it. Lets recant the 6 hrs he spent to trouble shoot and replaced a blown circuit board in central unit, then repaired several existing wiring problems and replaced a old transformer.He never gave up and knows his trade!His only comment was...it was working when I came in, it will work when I leave.Highly recommend....if not, then get ready to pay much more for subpar quality and repeated calls of system failures.

I had personally used Josh Potter for appliance repair and recommended him to two people. The second referral used him for a dishwasher repair and they were told the charge would be $320. He charged them this amount TWICE, and when told what had happened, he said that it was because he used an old account to charge the first time and promised to remove the double charge. This was back in late June/early July and NOTHING has been done. He avoids the phone calls of the man he charged twice, and refuses to reverse the charge. The man he ripped off is an incredibly kind-hearted fireman who saves lives on a regular basis, and he is trying to save money to get married this year. What a disgusting thing to do to someone who routinely helps his community in need. Until he corrects his mistakes, we will continue to pursue him so that an innocent person will not fall victim to this carelessness.

USE CAUTION !!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!Josh Potter arrived to fix a small water leak in my aunts new refrigerator...and by the end of the day it was not running AT ALL and leaking Freon very badly. I called him immediately the next day, as this is hazardous, and should be his responsibility to fix. He claimed that it isnt his issue to deal with and that the refrigerator was already in that state when he arrived. Keep in mind that the fumes were so strong that I still have a horrible headache and its almost midnight and my eyes were watering just trying to throw away all of the wasted food from his disastrous visit.The entire freezer and refrigerator were full of food and we just had to throw it all away! It probably totaled up to over $1000, no joke. Why would she have literally just bought all of that food if the refrigerator was not working?!? It was ONLY the water/Ice maker that was broken, NOTHING ELSE!Mr. Potter was belligerently drunk Im assuming when I confronted him via telephone today about his visit yesterday. It took multiple calls! He kept avoiding my questions and stating how did he know that ...someone else had not been there (it was been less than 12 hours) and Do you know who I am?!?.... He also told my aunt that she makes enough money, so just go buy anther one!!! Wtf?!?..The conversation concluded in it escalating to the local Carrollton Police Department being called. Maybe even a Civil Court case, JEEZE!Even though this was not even 1 year old and cost well over $2400, a brand new refrigerator might be needed now, we shall see. I do know that Sears will definitely get a call in the morning to see if they can fix his disaster,,,,crossing my fingers. I initially made the appointment for her and found Potters Appliance Repair on Google with all of these great ratings (from years ago!). I feel so responsible. :-(DO NOT USE Potters Appliance Repair...USE CAUTION !!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!

Josh showed up at my home 2/18/15 to look at an icemaker problem with my 2yr old Samsung Fridge. When he arrived the fridge was in perfect working order (stocked with food) with the exception of the ice maker. Josh gave me a quote to fix ice maker of $480. I declined to have the icemaker fixed and paid Josh $40 service call. When I went in to the kitchen after he had left...the fridge was making a loud metal on metal noise and wasnt positioned back next the wall. I had to ask that he come back out check on the noise, reposition the fridge back to where it was when he arrived. After he left for the 2nd time..the fridge was making a louder noise, it has a noxious chemical smell to it and it no longer works AT ALL no longer cools, freezer is broken and water in door is broken. I called Josh twice to try and resolve the issue with no luck. He has stated the the problem is mine, he will not return to correct anything..he went on to say that I looked like I could afford another Fridge he wasnt concerned with a poor business reputation or bad reviews so I will just leave him alone and purchase another fridge. I have been advised by the City of Carrollton Civic offices to send a demand letter for damages/expenses..and if there is no response to the demand letter to file civil action against Potters Appliance.

Josh who took our money for the parts we supposedly needed but we haven’t heard from him since, we paid for his visit to come and tell us what’s wrong with our fridge, he said we needed 2 different parts and we paid for them to him thru his online service because he said he can order the parts and we just need to pay him but he didn’t deliver what he promised, not returning our calls now. When we contacted him after 3 weeks to know of ETA and told him it’s been more than a week like he promised, he said it is not his problem. He promised to refund our money a month after, but we haven’t seen our money or him or our parts.He is a dirty scum bag, lier and thief!!!. Don’t believe him he will not deliver what he promised!!!

Tried to buy something from him on eBay he shows to have shipped it but no tracking number and it has been two weeks. I only live two days at most away for shipping. And can not get in contact with him, and eBay is has emailed him too. Still nothing... This guy is a joke... Glad I used pay pal to get my money back..... Please do not use him!!!!!!

Josh did a great job. Fair price and VERY fast. Was also very accomodating with our goofy schedule. Definitely recommended.

Josh toke a deposit of $75 beginning of February for a part to be installed the following week. After a few weeks I contact Josh by text, he answered it will be in March 6. After 5 phone calls including today with no response I would not recommend this company no matter how inexpensive he is.

This guy runs a YouTube channel, collected 20 bucks from multiple people to scratch a book of lottery tickets, he pocketed probably 300-400 bucks and never bought a single ticket, complete fraud and scam artist AVOID!!!!
