If there is a reason for the one star, let us know so we can make things right.somehow they managed to take my review down.Be careful who you work with. These are scammers and charlatans. Everyone knows them, even the judge in court.

Our pipe had started leaking from the recent winter storm and Axel did a great job coordinating the repair for us. While most other plumbers I requested a quote from were not very responsive, Axel stayed in communication with me even despite him going through family emergency. They also dont charge you to come out to give you an estimate. His guys came out twice to repair the leak itself and the sheet rock that had to be ripped in order to get to the pipe. Axel and his guys made sure to have it all repaired and cleaned to make it look the same way as it did before and do a final check.

Disrespectful person I encountered. Parking in a clearly marked reserved parking space and refused to move because hes working.

I just want to give a HUGE THANK YOU TO UVAL (I BELIEVE IM SAYING HIS NAME CORRECTLY) HES 66, and I was told that it wouldnt be a possible that a plumber would show up til Tuesday (from my property management) with it being LABOR day weekend. When I saw him in the back of his truck getting the equipment together I could have cried, and he was very polite with the upmost respect towards us. He was able to fix our plumbing problems which was both tubs, and toilets in a timely manner❣️.

To anyone reading this comment, I suggest getting a good pair of running shoes and running as far away as possible from this company. Why? Because this company is sending me a bill of $1,147.50 for ZERO service provided.I used them in January. There were issues with my sprinkler system leaking while the sprinkler was running at a station. The contractors arrived late in the afternoon and it was a rainy day. They drove from a long distance so they said they would rather fix it that day. I’m not a plumber so I had no choice but to rely on their professional expertise. They performed some diagnostics, did some work and said the problem was fixed. It was late at night, raining so I didn’t test it that night. I didn’t know what pipe exactly the problem was (just knew the location but the location had multiple pipes) on, so testing would require me to run the entire sprinkler stations.I paid them $700 (ballpark).The winter was harsh after that so we closed our sprinklers. When we opened the sprinkler in March, the same problem occurred in the exact same manner and from the exact same location. I called them again. The different set of folks were sent and when they came and checked they said the pipes they fixed previously weren’t leaked but these were different pipes. Well, the way the problem occurred (water leaking was 100% the same location) was exactly the same, so it was obvious their previous people fixed the wrong problem! I requested that it should be covered under their warranty and they refused. I called back and said I would be okay covering for their parts, travel and some labor costs, but I wouldn’t expect to pay the full price. They said they would call back but no response. I tried calling a few times over the next week but they wouldn’t respond or call me back. And guess what??? Now I get an invoice over my mail saying I owe them 1,147. What a shame!!! What a fraud!!! No actual work done at all, other than them coming and finding the wrong work they did, follwed by the worst and rudest customer service in planet and yet I owe them a bill this high?I’m going to call them back on this, but I’m also looking to see what other legal options I may have for this type of fraudulent practice.Just FYI - I called another local plumber and got my issues fixed (tested this time) for less than $200. Hope this helps to convince you, as I’m fully convinced now that this business is here to rob you!

Our senior apartment complex Cobblestone Manor has had nothing but the best service through Matt at J National. We call him for any project big or small and he makes sure we know exactly who will be here and when. The work is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable, and he follows up after to ensure satisfaction with the completed work. J National has contractors that show professionalism and courteousy with every job, not only to our staff but to the residents as well.

Working with Scott Trainor from J National has been a great experience.We have worked on multiple projects, and his team is very responsive and organized.He is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience in construction. He often uses his experience and vast network of experts and vendors to propose the appropriate materials for the scope of work, considering the price, quality, and warranties.Most of our work with him is on multifamily interior and exterior renovations. The guys at J national helped me out of a jam this summer. Plumbing line busted in the yard which supplied our house with all of its fresh water. After not having water for a few days (and lots of angry complaints from my wife) I finally reached out to David with J national.They had our water line replaced and my wife happy in a matter of a few days. Can’t thank them enough. Definitely recommend.

Scott and his team have handled work that ranged from simple landscaping needs to complex casualty recovery and build back. He is one of integrity, fairness, and cares about his projects and clients. Matts a real professional. He always responds quickly to our requests and is always on-time for his appointments. The work he has done for us in the past still looks amazing, even after several years! We have no hesitation to reach out to him when we have work that needs to be done!

We have two multifamily properties in Dallas. One recently required major renovation to an entire building from roof, exterior to entire interior. J National has done a great job for us allowing the units to be upgraded to A class. There are other projects that J National have been and will be helping us from electrical, plumbing, concrete, drainage, carports to units rehab. Their work has been of good quality and their value is good. We find Jay, the owner, and Ed Austin, his senior site estimator, to be friendly, easy to work and communicate with. They are flexible and reasonable. I highly recommend J National.

We have used J National for many years to handle repairs around the property such as deck, gate welding, concrete, and sub-floor. They always do an outstanding job and get us on the schedule quickly. We know that we can count on them for quality work and excellent customer service. Meny and Kevin are great resources for estimates and service!

Polo Guillen is a great worker! His plumbing skills are impressive. I would hire J National again.

A nice gentleman by the name of Chris came by to help with my plumbing issue. I had a clogged sink and had water over flowing from my dishwasher and he came within 20 minutes to fix the problem. He was very helpful and explained everything he was doing. I would Definitely use them again and ask for him specifically.

Dont believe their free estimates. When they dont have work they will come out. When they have work, they will let you know you are out of your mind to ask for an estimate (wouldve been ok with you saying you are busy). I totally get that contractors are busy during these times, but when you accuse me of something that is so far from my character, I have to draw the line. The dude pretty much said im playing with contractors by asking for an estimate. The contractor said that he is making a lot of money with so many projects (after the winter storm) that he believes me asking him for an estimate is playing with contractors? Im totally ok with you all never coming out to give me an estimate. No need to work with J National ever! When the work all dries up and some folks are looking for jobs to be done to their homes, I do hope this review will deter them away. That one contractor that called me is narcissistic. I wont name him, but im pretty sure most employees that work around him are aware of this as well.

We just bought a home in Far North Dallas. One of the pipes behind the house was letting off water and a neighbor called to complain.We made one call to J National, they had a rep out the same day. Needless to say tyey found the leak and did a speedy repair. We are considering using them for our remodel. I guess its to be continued.......

This crew was very much helpful and got the job done! We would hire them again, great professional work.

These guys know their job, they, are very professional, They came to check on my ac unit ( apt ) not working ,2 Latino guys came and took them around 35 - 40 minutes to fix the problem and my ac is blowing 🥶 air now !.

Hi there all you busy people. Thanks for taking the time to read this review and I hope that it finds you well and in need of a great Electrician.Lets start at the beginning. I started to get flickering lights, my garage door stopped opening automatically, the A/C went out along with my electric stove, microwave, and washer/dryer. I had partial power...meaning my TV worked and I had some lights in the house. I live in Texas, in incredibily HOT weather in the summer...and of course, when the A/C went out during the beginning of July in 100 degree heat I was terrified.I called my electric company (Oncor, BOO!) to help get the power going. I had no idea what was going on. They came out when I wasnt here and left a note on my door stating I would have to replace the part on the meter box because it wasnt their problem and they suggested I call an electrician to get the power going. Luckily I have a home warranty and they sent out J National Contractors from Dallas. Juan Chavelas made the call. My power went out on a Friday afternoon...the hottest part of the day and everyone was reluctant to come out on a weekend and they wanted an arm and leg for emergency calls. It was now Saturday afternoon and I still had no power. When Juan came out he was exhausted from working all day, but he still cared about my problem. He knew I was without power in 100 degree heat with no where to go. I dont have a lot of money for hotel rooms and no way to cook my food. He went right to work.Juan finished the job quickly without taking a break in the heat. He got my power back on in less than an hour. This kind of company, and man, go to show you that some people still care about the customer. Which is number one in my book. I dont normally do reviews unless someone goes above and beyond the call of duty. This company is now going to be my go to company when I need an electrician. If you need good people who care about the customer and not just the money, please go with them. Their efficient friendly attitude is so refreshing in a world thats filled with so many people who are just there for the paycheck and dont care about your problems. So please, go with J National if you need a good reference

I have a couple of properties I own here in Dallas and J national is the always to go to company to fix anything I need that does not work. If its hvac to plumbing to electrical j national is the one to go to!highly recommend.

J National has done many renovations on our properties throughout the years such as roof replacements, full remodeling, exterior repairs and painting, installed sidewalks, pool repairs/resurfacing and installed wooden and iron fencing, electrical and plumbing (all size jobs) They are very professional and I would highly recommend them!

J National has helped me with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. I have been using them for years and to this date they have not let me down. Ive called them on the weekend for emergency calls and they show u.

I have been using J National for years at many of our properties and they always do an excellent job. They never overcharge us for anything and they come to fix our problems when we ask them to.

Poor communication, non-English speaking workers, owner is a know-it-all

Poor service, poor quality, poor workmanship,no leadership, no accountability doesn’t have a clue what they are doing and always has an excuse of why it’s not done correctly. This is supposed to be a professional company with in-house repair personnel and everyone performing the work are sub-contractors. Sub-Par work with no quality or skills. Run do not hire them.

Scott Trainor responded to my request immediately and was able to assist with a last-minute emergency add on.
