Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company.A rat died in the attic, and there was an extremely strong smell in only ONE of the rooms, so I knew that there was some sort of air leak from the attic into that room. I called them and they sent a new guy, that new guy said it was due to a kink in the duct. He suggested a new duct and quoted it. I called them again to have them come out to do the work, but the new guy was fired so the son came out this time and he said theres no way thats the problem, its due to a hole in the floor between the attic in the room, in fact, he found the hole and patched the hole temporarily, but said I needed to add a proper solution with a intake duct and quoted that. They still hadnt fixed the problem, but at least we had a temporary patch, and a plan, and then the third time I called them to come out and do the work the owner/dad of the company came out and said we needed to replace the entire system for over $10,000. I explained to him that we just needed to replace the one area that had the hole, and he seemed totally uninterested in that. He said that he just didnt like the general system. Keep in mind our system cools and heats perfectly, and we have no problem the temperature we we just wanna get rid of the attic smell in the room. He said he couldnt smell any issue, and therefore he thinks there is no issue, despite the fact that his son found the hole, and even patched it. Weeks later after he left, another rat died and the smell was horrible again in that exact same room, I went up in the attic, found the dead rat, and also found light coming up from the attic floor!! Obviously there is a hole there, I can see it, and they still havent found it and patched it even though Ive called them three times. The son was awesome and probably would have fixed it by now if they just kept sending the son and kept notes. They fired the first guy. The dad just seemed like a salesman. Also they only use paper and no proper tech system so they dont have any notes or videos that I could tell and it seemed like every time someone came out I had to re-explain the whole situation, they should just have a proper app like all the other companies and just upload notes and videos to my address file, that way we dont have to start over everytime someone new comes over.EDIT: I appreciate the humorous reply from the owner. I will add that a new HVAC company came over and found that the duct had cold air being sucked at both ends, and not in the other ducts, so we need to rerun just that supply line, and thats likely the issue. I was wrong about the light hole in the attic, that was there but it was the bathroom vent. I dont need an exterminator, I have that, thats why the rats keep dying, but I do need to minimize the smell into that room and that room alone. Replacing everything for $13k is not needed at this time. The other companys HVAC guy moved the insulation and found the issue by putting his hand where the seal was supposed to be on the duct and flowing air could be felt. I am hoping a new duct and better seal will fix the issue for $500.

We chose to go with Blue Ribbon based on their response to a negative review. Trey was straight up, and we could tell he was honest and not just out to make an extra buck. Thats what we needed. Wed been having issues with our AC that was replaced back in 2020, and we didnt want to use the same guy because we knew the issues stemmed from his lack of quality, honesty, and professionalism. In October we reached out to Trey who assessed our whole system. He made some recommendations that we moved forward with, and fast forward to December, we are extremely happy and thankful we went with Blue Ribbon. They resolved the issue and more! Trey and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They know what theyre doing/talking about and do a great job for real good value. Blue Ribbon has gained a loyal customer. I highly recommend Blue Ribbon. They rediagnosed the problem after another company wanted to charge $3,600 for a coil replacement under warranty. When we discovered icing on one of our units, we called our current ac company. Although our unit was only 6 years old and repairable they pushed us to replace it at almost quadruple original cost. I called Blue Ribbon at my neighbors recommendation and spoke with Trey. He came out and walked me through everything. Stressed in no way did I need a new unit and gave me a repair quote lower than the first company. He and his staff were very polite, knowledgeable and performed all the repairs in a timely matter. I cant remember who I spoke to, but when I called I spoke directly with a technician, not just someone behind a desk that wants to set up an appointment for a week from then.Unfortunately they were not going to be able to send someone quickly, but instead of making an appointment for next week the gentleman asked what troubleshooting steps I had taken and gave me some suggestions. He was so helpful that I called back a couple hours later after I had discovered something and he gave his adjusted advice. Although he didnt directly solve my issue (turns out it was the sensor in my condensate drain) I wouldnt have been able to solve it myself if he hadnt been so helpful. Without even charging me!I will definitely be using Blue Ribbon for any service I need in the future!

I talked to a few HVAC companies in my area that all boasted high reviews and quality products/services. What made Blue Ribbon Heat and Air stand out? Their assessment/processing of my situation, dedication to quality assurance, pricing that beat the competition, and how they treat you as the customer.Theyre not trying to sell you a new unit right off the bat. They understand that there could be some underlying issues that may cause your unit/home to be less efficient than what your unit is capable of keeping up with. They want to address other issues that could end up saving you thousands in the long run. It doesnt stop there, though. Blue Ribbon did a great job for us this last week when our AC went out. After calling in, Trey came the next day to inspect and had a plan for us that day. He prides himself on being a “repair” man rather than a “sales” man, which I truly appreciated. The prices we received were very fair and he was able to give us a discount on several things because we had a lot to be done. When the team came to replace one unit and one coil (the unit was more than 30 years old!), they were on time, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. There was essentially no trace of them other than the working AC 😅Trey was there twice that day just to check up on the progress and make sure everything was up to their standards. So glad to have found this company, and they will be taking care of any future issues we have!

After having years of bad luck and experience with other HVAC professionals, I called Trey Tucker at Blue Ribbon to install a new unit. He was well aware of my past experiences and he criticized the faulty work of the past techs and he shared how honest, fair, and reputable his company was. Understanding that you get what you pay for, I spent the money to purchase a new high quality HVAC unit from Blue Ribbon Feb 2021.18 months later, Ive had several issued with the unit, including faulty wiring. I called Blue Ribbon several times with no answer or call back. When I called with my number blocked, Trey answered the phone but when he heard my voice he hung up. I guess when the problems became too numerous, Blue Ribbon/Trey took the ignore and it will go away policy.This is the type of customer service you would expect to receive from a shady individual who installs HVAC units at half price. I did not expect to receive this type of service from a reputable company who prides itself on quality work and products. I regret the money I spent with Blue Ribbon. I should have found another company who truly values their work, reputation, and customer service to install my unit. More money doesn’t always equal better service. Very disappointed.
