Awful experience. Technician made a terrible mess in my kitchen then tracked his dirty feet through my house to the front door! Didn’t speak English. Thankfully I speak SpanishSaid he couldn’t get the valve under my sink to turn on or off, then said it was ok. ( he in fact left it as it was and didn’t tell me- I could have had it repaired before my new refrigerator is being delivered today) he couldn’t fix my other refrigerator of course- now I’m wondering about that.. oh and WORST of all my old fridge kept having water seep out from under it. I thought it was just draining and would stop. It seemed to get worse- today waiting on the delivery of the new one, I discovered he made my waterline leak!!I called the company saying I wanted someone to come fix it right away but did not want that tech back in my house. She said she’d have someone out in a few hours- then called back and said HE was the only one who could do his on warranty work AND he has no availability today 😡

Joseph arrived on time, quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue with my LG Front Load Washing machine and provided a very reasonable repair quote. He replaced the drain pump, tested the washer. He then gave sound advice on how to keep the machine clean and what type products would work best in the machine. Friendly, knowledgeable and to the point. Could not have been more pleased with the experience.

I have a commercial ice machine in my garage that stopped working. I called Longhorn on a Saturday. Yoba came out the same day and diagnosed the problem. He took the time to explain the problem. The tech was very good. I didn’t like to hear the results that it is cheaper to buy a new washing machine then it is for your company to repair it. That just sounds so unrealistic, but that is exactly what happened as for what he did for service wise he was very good, but your pricing is very off.

There was a communication from the beginning. They wanted to charge over $500 which I can replace the washer for less than that. Fool me once.

The technician was great - got right to business and was clean and efficient. His English was not great, but we easily made ourselves understood and he clearly understood the job. I did have to wait a week for a part yo ship, but that seems to be a new norm in appliance repair. We’re up and running now and so glad to have a functioning dishwasher.

The technician did a great job I give him a rating of five but the facility itself your company charges too much money for appliances to get serviced I was charged $570 just to have the technician put a coil in my dishwasher. I will not be using you in the future

Prompt, courteous service. Tech got right to work on my refrigerator. Did an excellent job. The reason for only 4 stars is the fact that he only spoke some English and him pointing to the mask that he put on and pointed to didn’t really let me know what he was getting ready to do. My kitchen was filled with greasy dust that he was blowing out of the inside of the refrigerator. I’m on a walker so I had to quickly open the windows and back door. If I’d been warned ahead of time I would have covered my kitchen counter before he had arrived and gone outside. I already have lung issues so this didn’t help. I’ve also used them to repair my dryer. Great job.

I really like the work this company does, the technician who came today to inspect my clothes washer did it in a very professional manner, this is the second time the same technician came to fix a problem and he does his job very aware and knowledgeable.

Fabian did a fantastic job in diagnosing the problem with my 14 year old garage refrigerator. It was so quick I was somewhat reluctant to believe it.After he returned with the part they ordered, he installed it quickly but then went about vacuuming out the coils under the refrigerator and aligning the door seals so it closed properly. All of the added attention just showed how much Fabian cared about his work. Fabian’s grasp of the English language is not nearly as strong as his repair expertise but he does fine with what he’s good at. Thanks Longhorn for sending him out to my house.

I recently had Bobby , technician from Longhorn Appliance Services come to replace the dryer drum roller. As a customer I already identified the problem and told the issue exactly when scheduling for a service call. While I was very impressed with the technician’s knowledge, workmanship, and familiarity with the product, the service cost was exorbitantly high. Charging $289 for labor and $41 for parts, for a 15-minute job seems excessive, especially since the part used appeared to be loosely brought in with no signs of being a new replacement. The 30-day parts warranty further raised my suspicion that the part might not be new.Additionally, they also charge $129 for service call, if I had chosen to not use their service because of cost which is very high. I was forced to use their service.While I would gladly hire the technician again for their expertise and quality work, I am very dissatisfied with Longhorn Appliance Services’ pricing and the apparent quality of the parts provided. I recommend the technician but not the Longhorn service company.

Made an appointment as a first time customer Based on number of 5-star reviews on their website. A day and block of hours was agreed on. I made sure I was at home 30 minutes before and waiting for 3.5 hours but no one showed. When I called to get an update, I left a message and Elsa’s told someone would call me right back. I also sent a text asking for an update - which the reply was to please call for any questions. It ended up they made the appointment on the wrong day- one week later- so I have now wasted taking a half day off from work. I try to always use local businesses, but if appointments cannot be made correctly, I will move on to someone else. Very disappointing….

Bobby B gave very honest feedback and stayed long enough to try and reproduce the problem. He gave good advice about capturing the issue and to contact him if the issue occurs again. He was polite and courteous. I would definitely call Longhorn Services again.

I honestly wish I could give 10 stars. Our dryer went out Thursday night. I was so happy to find Longhorn through google on Thursday night and even to be able to book a service call for the next day! (How rare is that these days?) Our technician Bobby B arrived less than 24 hours after the dryer broke! Bobby was professional, efficient and diagnosed the problem, which needed a part he had just run out of in his vehicle and had already ordered before my service call. We made a tentative plan for him to return on Monday with the part to finish the repair. This next part is where I wish I could give 10 stars.... I got a call from Longhorn around lunchtime today (Saturday) asking if Bobby could return today to finish the repair instead of waiting until Monday. That was above and beyond in my book. I also found their prices to be very fair.It is rare thing these days to find that caliber of customer service, and I will call Longhorn from now on when I need an appliance repair!

After the tech left the first time, he said the ref unit was cooling. Charged almost $900. The unit never got cold. I called back and they came out and said there was a different problem. They wanted more money. I believe that they mis diagnosed the problem the first time. He said he adjusted whatever the issue was. I am not a happy camper.

Jason was on time, communicated the issue and the fix, and got everything done in a short period of time. Very professional.

Charged me $500 to fix my ice maker. 2 weeks later it was doing the same thing, frozen solid. Would not return to fix the problem. Offered a small refund but continue to avoid me and still haven’t seen refund. Do not use Longhorn plumbing.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I scheduled someone to come and look at my washing machine from 11-2. My wife took off work to be home. The technician arrived after 4pm. 😡 Then they tried to charge us over $400 to fix a washing machine that we paid $500 for! No thanks!

After 89 years, my 1933 OKeefe and Merritt stove needed its first service call. Joseph came out and replaced the Thermal Conductor and provided excellent service.

The positive reviews on here must be from relatives. These guys are crooks, will tell you one thing and get completely different results in the end. I don’t know how they sleep at night. The people in these professions must think people have disposal incomes, and can’t wait to share with them. I was told if you went ahead and had the issue repaired, that first charge would come off the total service amount. That was not the case here. Bobby told me the numbers on the first invoice were not indicative of the total amount due. That’s the first falsehood because you sign the invoice. They know no matter what they will receive what’s on that first invoice. They just take advantage of certain people. They know what they’re doing, and won’t stop until this reviews are taken seriously. No one but a lawyer should make almost two hundred dollars for a 1/4 hrs work. This company is a ripoff, buyer beware.

Oven light shorted out because of my doing. Called Longhorn Appliance Repair when I left work at 3pm. The repair was completed before I got home 40 minutes later. The quality of the service is very poor. The technician cleaned up the refrigerator and then put all the dirt on the floor and covered it with the towel. I had to clean up all the mess later. I requested an estimate for the A/C repair work and never heard back. Overall, not a good experience.

My lg dryer has gone bad. It has been only 4 years. I called this company and came out to diagnose it fairly quickly. And they quote it me for $439.00 plus tax to fix heating problem. I think that the guy said that he needs to replace the heating elements. I checked same dryer on a internet which was around $550.00 for new one. Anyway, what I am trying to say is that it was my choice to call a service but still please factor in the cost of buying a new one before calling a service call. I paid $129.00 plus tax for a diagnosis and decided to buy a new dryer instead of fixing it.

Called for an appliance repair, turned out to be 30 second fix. Still charged $130 , I understand you need to collect a service fee but you could offer to prorate the service fee to the customer based on time rendered. Especially when you don’t use any tools or replace any parts. Caveat emptor!

Diagnosed dryer issues accurately enough to save us money! On time, polite, and answered my numerous questions! Bobby was very knowledgeable and professional. And the Longhorn sent someone out the same day which we really needed!

The only problem I had with Bobby was that he was runny late and no one bothered to call and let me know. I literally waited from 2 to almost 6 pm to find out he was running behind. You should at least let the customer know. But he repaired the problem right away and we are going to use him for another service.

Our washing machine would not drain. I was lucky that Longhorn was able to send a tech the same day I called. Was quoted a service fee, but advised $ would go towards repair if one was necessary. Fee did go up slightly when they found out my machine was an LG - not sure why, but again - fee went towards repair.Bobby arrived, with anticipated part in hand, and had my washer repaired within 2 hours. I was told up front the charges and he was very respectful to make sure not to damage anything moving the machine around. I did 3 loads of laundry that afternoon.He did such a great job, Im having them back out to fix another appliance.

Update: since posting our honest review of Longhorn, it’s owner at first sought to blame Google for his billing practices, writing to us, “Unfortunately these days Google charges us around $80 per customer that we get from our ads”. Then in his next email to us the Longhorn owner threatens us, “you will be receiving a letter from our attorneys office suing you for the business that we lose from your review which can be up to 10,000 in one month. You have been warned!”Beware, Longhorn Services is a fraudulent, cheating company. It over-sells & overcharges. And threatens all who write negative reviews about it.We contacted them because our washer is not working correctly. It does not consistently spin water out of clothes after washing. The technician tried to first sell us a brand new pump and rubber seal for the washer. He told us he is “sure this is the problem.” When he added up the price of materials and labor, I told him it would be cheaper for us to buy a new washer. He then changed his plan 100% and said “We’ll, let me try something else.“ Bottom line, the entire problem was a filter at the bottom of the washing machine that was dirty. We unscrewed it, I cleaned it myself in the sink. It solved everything. No new seal is needed, no new pump is needed. Nothing is broke. Nothing needed fixed or replaced or repaired.The technician was at our house a total of 20 minutes. Max. When it came time for the bill, he told me he would “waive“ the “normal” service charge of $89, but still charge us $209 for “labor.” In other words, he wanted us to believe that normally this would cost $309 for 20 minutes of his labor, but he would “only charge us his labor, not service.” WTH? “Service” is free of $89, but 20 minutes of “Labor” is $209. No new materials were installed on our washing machine. Nothing was broke. Nothing fixed. The only thing we did was washout a filter in the sink, which solved everything.Longhorn tried to sell us what we did not need, then when that did not work it sought to trick us with fake distinctions between “service” and “labor” costs. We paid them, to get rid of them (and because they are entitled to something for their time). Beware of being defrauded & over-sold by Longhorn.

Brandon came to our house- last minute - on a Saturday and diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator/freezer. He was professional and thorough. (Another repair service strung us along for two days- then cancelled on Friday afternoon.)

Was charged $130 just to be told I needed a new washing machine. Technician nice but now my $600 new washing machine I have to buy actually cost me over $700.

My washer broke, a technician came in and changed some parts that he claimed were broken. They charged me almost $600 and the issue was not fixed. The technician said I will get a partial refund for the parts and I’ve been waiting 2 weeks now. They don’t answer phone calls and if they do they have some excuse and don’t know what I’m talking about.Scam.

Longhorn responded the same day I called, whereas neither Premier or A&E ever called back even after leaving repeated messages! Longhorn arrived next day, analyzed the problem, ordered parts and returned two days later to install them. Im a happy customer and will use them again!

THEY DO NOT WARRANTY THEIR WORK. Terrible experience with Joseph, Jesse and Longhorn Appliance with our SpeedQueen washer. A week after they repaired the pump on it, it started making a loud noise which I took video evidence of until I had time to follow up with them (it was still working). They finally came back out to look at it and were able to get rid of the loud noise, but said it would likely come back, but NOT to worry because the machine was fine, fixed correctly and if we could deal with the loud noise then there were no issues. Shockingly the noise came back within a few days and was working until whatever was causing it, gave way last week jolting the machine to a stop and breaking the pump…the same part I had already paid them to fix originally. We conveniently had another repair person look at it who works on Speedqueens, who said these machines (

I bought a fridge n the fridge side wasnt cooling. He said I needed a kit, rhat was 300 n the fridge still didnt cool. Now he saying I need a motor, he said that was 50. Now its a motor n sensor n price went to 120 plusalmost a 300 labor how is that. U say one thing n then.another. I feel Im getting low ball by him.

I will check twice before booking. The comapny has many telephone numbers but no physical address and if you check on BBB, you would not find the businessLonghorn Home Services in DFW. Plus, there is no license number published which I think it is important because permits are required for most electrical work, including but not limited to: Service updates. Rewires. Installation of hardwired appliances (such as dishwashers, built in microwaves, etc.)

Ice maker wasn’t working so Joseph came out for $100 fee (after being told $89) and told me I might need 4 different parts with each being $250-500. Insisted the manufacturer recommended I needed to replace ice maker and sensors at a minimum. Felt uncomfortable and said let’s do 1 at a time and then never heard from him again. Went to kitchen aide site and watched trouble shooting video and found out that 9 out of 10 times it’s the sensors. Lurched the on Amazon for a total of $30 and installed them myself for $10. Ice-maker starting producing ice immediately. Watch these guys, they are slippery.
