They are amazing, honest and trust worthy. I am a single senior women and I was worried about being taken advantage of. A friend recommended these guys and I put my full trust in them and would have no issues with them coming by anytime I needed help. I would happily recommend them to any friends or family that I have.

Coolway replaced our line set and they were efficient and easy to work with throughout the estimating and install. Very polite and considerate while on site working!

Same morning found the problem, drove to the warehouse for the parts, installed them and my asked for surge protectors. All the same morning. Thats service. Use them, youll never be sorry. Tech James Mentor did an excellent job cleaning up my a/c system. His work was very detailed and he did several checks to make sure the system was holding Freon. I will definitely request his help if I need him in the future.

$600 seems to be their go to number as that’s what we’ve paid both times with warranties with no actual break down of how they arrived at that number and when it’s only 15 minutes of work with the part covered by warranty on a brand new unit they installed just a few months ago. Once we inquired, we realized we were charged for them to pick up a part that couldve been delivered at no or less charge and we were never given that option. He blamed the cold front, but we had made it clear we were in no hurry. We were also charged a warranty fee, when we were never told any such thing initially, solely that we only had to pay for labor which was 98 an hour and they definitely didnt spend hours. Not thrilled with them. We were placed with them when we had our home warranty so continued to use them but no thanks. Even if theyre not scamming, the communication is trash and they dont know how to quote.

Our AC coil had a leak, called our warranty company who dispatched out coolway mechanical, came out on time to diagnose the problem very quick, coil was under warranty and they handled everything with the warranty on coil and warranty company. Once we finally received approval from warranty company and the part came in they were out very quick and on time and had the work completed within hours. And now we are sitting in comfort and its working like new again. Our technician was James Minter, he was very professional and knowledgeable. The warranty company we use if fidelity and they were very difficult to deal with and it took over a week for an approval, and I was treated like a number instead of a person. Our AC was out for over 3 weeks in the Texas heat. James was even kind enough to offer us a window unit to keep us cool while we waited for the part . I highly recommend coolway mechanical, and James Minter the technician as well as Michelle in the offer who was also great in keeping us updated.

Great service. Easy appointment and texted when on their way. James was on time and great. Explained everything well and things to keep an eye on since it is an older furnace. I will definitely be calling them to check the air conditioning in the spring

I had a drip leak in my ac unit and my home warranty company contracted this lousy company out to repair my issue. The contractor, David Raby showed up shortly after 4 when I was told between 2-4. Stayed for 10 minutes, because he was “in a hurry to get home”. He literally told me that when he arrived. He blew air into the lines because of a “blockage”, didn’t really explain anything then left. He was supposed to do a full diagnostic of the system and check everything but did not do any of that. The drip/leak got worse and lasted over a week when I was told it would stop after 2 days at the most. When my wife called the company, they stated they were not sending anyone out, that it was our problem not theirs and they didn’t care. The owner talked over my wife and talked down to her on top of being a complete arrogant jerk on the phone. I exchanged words with him about disrespecting my wife and he hung up on us then refused to answer the phone when we called back. For someone who has been doing this kind of work for 35 years, you would think he would have better communications skills and a better work ethic. Also you would think he would train his employees better. If you are hired to fix a problem, I expect the problem to be fixed not very briefly skim over it and then leave. This company has apparently never heard that the customer is always right, especially when your employee made the problem worse than it was before. My warranty company has been notified of the terrible service this joke of a company provided and removed them as a contractor.

Coolway Mechanical was easy to work with. James the tech that arrived was on time and professional. Very knowledgeable about hvac and did not try to upsale. I would recommend Coolway Mechanical to friends and family. New to Brenham and trying to keep it local. Will be adding Coolway to contacts and using them for all hvac needs. David is professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He explains in laymans terms which is appreciated! Our fears are reality, full replacement (system is 20 yrs old, so expected). Replaced unit in attic and outside over several hours in this heat. All I could do was keep offering cold water. Didnt leave until he knew it was running without issues. Would highly recommend

James came today for preventive maintenance of my heating system. Also he assisted me with what appeared to be a programming error with my thermostat. He took the time to make sure that I understood the problem and how to manage it. I am a repeat customer of Coolway, and I highly recommend them.

This is the best HVAC service that Ive ever used! They are prompt, professional, and willing to solve all of your a/c heating issues. I highly recommend this company.

David came out and did a wonderful job. He identified that my freon was low and refilled it. But rather than stopping there, he did a very thorough leak check of my entire system and tracked the leak down to a single bolt that had been tightened too much in the past- which had ruined the Teflon ring that would normally create a seal and hold the bolt tight.He took the time to flush the system so that he could remove and assess the bolt, replace the bolt with a new ring, and make sure it was tight and secure. He then took the time to make sure that my system was fully purged of all air and vapor so that it could run smoothly again.Highly recommend Coolway Mechanical Services. I am very appreciative of Davids thorough diagnostics and the fact that he took the time to do each step of the process correctly and completely.Thanks for helping my house feel comfortable and cool again!

Contacted warranty company, after 2 other contracted vendors were extremely difficult to get a hold of. 1st one, Brazos Valley Heating and Air never answered and never called back after 6 days being dispatched, 2nd one, Steinocher Heating and Air, having horrible customer service once contact was made, claiming messages werent being received then that they couldnt make appointments without Denise who was never available until maps were figured out whether we were located on their rout. After being extremely frustrated with NO AC, finally got a decent customer service rep with Warranty Co(Fidelity National Home Warranty... dont ever buy their product, beware!) Was able to pay a second deductible to switch over to a 3rd vendor that was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Coolway Mechanical was available within 1 hour along with Michelle, the customer service representative, providing amazing service and communication. Once the technician showed, that was super awesome also, he was able to find the issue and resolve our AC not working. I would HIGHLY recommend them, not just for their work but for their extremely professional way of responding!

Our upstairs AC was not cooling, called the home warranty service who sent the request to Coolway Mechanical Services Co.Jeff came and was able to determine that the problem was low freon which is filled and the cool air was back on. My husband and I bought our first home back in 2016 and the AC unit that came with the home had definitely seen better days. Our central air started acting up, we called our home warranty on a Saturday and they had Coolway out to us on Monday morning.James was our technician, he was on time, polite, knowledgeable, and was able to diagnose the issue quickly.

Called with a problem. David came the next morning. He was prompt, thorough and took care of the problem. He also explained how to avoid the problem in the future. He could have kept that too himself but he didn’t. That’s good, honest customer service.

The service techs communicated well throughout the process and were even early for their appointment. My issue was quickly identified and the repair was done properly. My equipment was left in optimal working condition and the work area left clean and neat.

After a lot of iffy/questionable work done by other companies that my stupid insurance people sent for my HVAC issues-- thankfully then THIS Company came along !! They wholly redid/reset all the iffy work from before saving me $100 or more each month on my elec bill-- their customer service and attention to appointments and detail is absolutely superb-- and I cannot POSSIBLY find enough superlatives for their oustanding work or recommend them highly enough !!!!....addendum:: Used them again...everything about their service from response time to cost just SUPERB and IMPECCABLE!!!!
