Waynes Automotive Tire Pros

This past Thursday at 5 o’clock, I was about 10 miles outside of Burnet, Texas when I got a flat tire. I was on my way to go camping, towing a pop-up camper, and very far from home. I managed to get to Wayne’s tire shop and they were getting ready to close, and they still took care of me. They stopped what they were doing and immediately fixed my tire, and got me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Even better, they charged me a totally reasonable price. They could’ve taken advantage of a single woman who was stranded, and instead they were kind, and respectful, and fair. What a great group of men. Thank you!!

I needed to get the headlights adjusted in my work vehicle. They were able to get me in and quickly complete the job. I am very satisfied.

Everytime I walk into Waynes, I am greeted with a smile and everyone is always polite and professional. Justin Rampy, the service writer always goes above and beyond trying to help take care of all my concerns. I absolutely recommend checking them out if you are looking for good honest people to work on your vehicles.

I had a brake caliper blow out on my truck. I limped it to their shop, no appointment, no call ahead. They were able to get me right in and fix it! They were very helpful and kind and got me back on the road asap! 10/10 would recommend!

Wayne & his staff are very helpful. I love the small town feel when I walk in his shop. They have had to come to my rescue a few times when I have had a flat or blow out on my trailer. I have purchased quality tires from him and am pleased with the product and service.

My two year old daughter and I were headed back home for a few hours to see friends and family, get away from the city would hopefully breathe some fresh air and regain traction, life had not only Been throwing curve balls but fast pitching them. These guys show up get my tire taken care of actually put a newer used tire On my vehicle and have me follow them back to the shop. Im embarrassed that I cannot remember this amazing booyoung mans name that comes out of the office walks up to me and my little girl and says that the owner has told him we are all set to go no charge and that we all have hard times and needs a little help.I still had 30 minutes to go before I made it to back to where I grew up, headed there for a recharge of faith in humanity.Halfway between my house and my home in true God fashion, what I thought was just another disaster to add to the ever growing list. In the form of a flat tire and some good ole boys who say yes mama and thank you God reminded me that goodness still exists and that his works continue to be done by his people and right there in Burnet, Tx theres Waynes, is without a doubt where Ill drive from Georgetown to him when I am able to purchase new tires and a reminder of that allThe good people arent gone.

We drove in from Austin and discovered our tire was going flat. We weren’t going to make it to the shop before they close on a Friday night so we called ahead and Justin was super kind. He said he’d stay open and personally take care of us. Thank you Justin for being so kind and helping us out!

I took my old Jeep in for an alignment. I just got it back and it handles so much better. They found a couple of other minor things to tighten up and all is well. Great service at a great price. I recommend!

My experience here has always been great. My son just had his AC serviced today. I feel they are professional, efficient and go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied with their services. My brother is a retired auto mechanic and Snap-On dealer and recommends this place. Also, my four grown children have all used Waynes for everything from tires to transmission issues and have never been disappointed. Thank you Waynes Automotive.....keep up the good work!!!!

I ordered my tires online and had them delivered to this shop as it’s closer to my home. The receptionist Kimberly was very unprofessional and rude. I called asking about my delivery she said my tires had not been delivered. I called back telling her I had received notification that they had been delivered and I had signature that they had been delivered. She then told me she would check. Came back and told me they could not install them until next week. I had already made an appointment for installation on day they arrived. I explained this to her and she was very rude and said we cannot install them until next week. It’s first serve first come. If I would have know about customer service at this place I would have just had the tires delivered to my home and took them to another shop, I received free shipping with my tires anyways. I only picked this place because it showed they would install them them the same day they got delivered.Update on my reviewI’m updating my review based on Wayne’s customer service. He was very kind and apologized about the situation and explained to me in depth why he was not able to do my appointment. Communication with him was great. But I still strongly believe his receptionist Kimberly could have handled the situation better and should she have explained to me the way Mr. Wayne did I would have been satisfied and been patient in waiting. The way you speak to your customers is what makes you a loyal guest. I did not receive a discount or anything for updating my review. Simply updating it because Mr. Wayne changed my perspective with his service. And I can appreciate a dedicated hard worker when I come across one.

AWESOME shop!! Very professional, knowledgeable and caring! I needed tires for my vehicle that Wayne’s auto was able to order, received and put on my vehicle within a couple of days (specialty tires). I was treated with respect and kindness which seems hard to come by these days! Wayne’s is this family’s new go to shop for all things vehicle related!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have used Waynes quite a bit over the last 2 years. Our first trip to see them was to fix an air conditioner issue on our Ford minivan. They fixed it quickly with very low cost and that convinced me to come back in the future. Since then, I have used them for oil changes, tire rotations & replacements, mechanical issues, and even replacing injectors on a diesel engine. They have always treated me fairly at a very competitive price. I trust them and recommend them without reservation based on my experience.

My 04 Dodge truck died on highway 29, I roll in to waynes parking lot. The clerk at the counter reported that all the mechanics were busy for the next 24 hours, they could get to it after that. Waiting 24 hours was not an option. I thanked the clerk and turned leave, before I made it to the exit door I was stopped by the owner. Wayne said how can I help. He suggested I new fuel filter. And gave me one to install. I realized right then and there the successful part of Waynes business is Wayne. I am proud to see a successful small business owner still focused on success.Thank you Wayne.

During our 300+ mile trip down from Oklahoma to camp at Inks Lake our a/c went out in my truck. 100+ Degrees outside. Googled places to do a/c repair and Wayne’s Automotive came up. On a busy Monday, I explained my situation and Wayne took my truck back and fixed my issue. I was super impressed by how fast Wayne got me “back to camping” at inks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Blowout on my trailer tire. Not only fast but the went above and beyond to help me get my broken fender safe for travel to get it home. Highly recommend

If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would! I came in with a pretty bad fuel leak that would prevent me from leaving there safely. They had to drop the tank to get to the problem. Not only did they get it done the same day, the charge for the repair was more than fair! Everyone from the front desk to the mechanic were all knowledgeable, professional, honest, and friendly! Couldnt ask for more! I will definately be back for any future repairs.

Ive had tires changed, flats fixed, etc. The people are nice, and the work they do is good.However, I was charged $95.40 for a headlight & taillight replacement. I had the taillight. OReillys will do it for free if you buy it from them.*Update* Wayne called me this morning, apologized, and knocked $ off of the 2 new tires I had ordered yesterday when this happened. He wasnt here yesterday, and sometimes things can get messed up in the computer. Giving the benefit of the doubt is good sometimes. 😊

Wayne fixed my car when others didnt even want to look at it. He called me and spoke about everything he was doing every step of the way. Excellent work and outstanding customer service, everybody in his shop is very friendly and good people too. I will recommend them forever

My car indicated that I had low psi in two tires while driving into Burnet. I went to Waynes Automotive. I explained what was going on and they took my car right back. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. I was willing to pay for this service, but they cheerfully said no charge. I reommend Waynes Automotive if, for nothing else , the people there. My battery died right after I had filled up with gas at a station in Burnet. I called Waynes Tire and Automotive and they sent someone right over and jumped my truck. I then drove to their garage, where they immediately replaced my dead battery and I was on my way to my Dr. appointment in Austin. The whole process took less than 30 minutes, I was charged fairly, and they were extremely kind and courteous. I most definitely will be returning to Waynes for all automotive needs. What a great experience. I consider myself so fortunate to have had this happen in Burnet where a place like this is such a treasure. Thank you, Waynes Tire and Automotive!!!

Absolutely amazing. I went in for a front end alignment of my 1970 GM car and felt like I got back a whole new car!! Im not kiddinv. Wayne and Justin are extremely professional and I wont hesitate to take my car back. Their alignment system is state of the art so they showed me exactly what was wrong with my original setup down to the degree of angle. I even suspect they made some rear end adjustments bc it drives SO much smoother, and I mean better then it has in the ten years of me owning it. They always give me a fair deal and go above and beyond.

In and out quickly. Very reasonably priced. Professional, they explained the issues, and didnt treat me like I wouldnt understand because I am female. I will recommend, and return for any further issues with my car.

This is the place to go. Wayne will answer any question and is very knowledgeable. Customer service is definitely his priority. They replaced my steering gear box and since I’m not from the area I witnessed his interactions with several customers since I was there a while. If you don’t go here first it’s your own fault.

They screwed my husband out of 800$ to get and alignment and control arms when we left are truck basically was worse off then before we went there ruined our tires and put the wrong control arms on. So we had to redo it all ourself and he even went back up there ask asked if they can at least re align it right this time and they said no you should have told us the day you got it worked on so 800$ down the drain! Worthless shop dont go there

Great service, was towing a trailer and the lights werent working. Seeing my situation Wayne had me pull around back got down in the dirt and fixed the wiring without charge. Ill be back next time I have a problem with my vehicle.

Being new to the area was looking for a place to take our cars to. Wow what a great find. Super friendly staff and owner. Definitely our go-to for auto repairs.

Professional and consistently good work on just about anything with an engine. The staff go above and beyond in keeping our 3 older vehicles in safe running condition. Five stars isnt quite enough.

Stranded in burnet for the weekend - turned out to be a water pump. Waynes was helpful and efficient, did take 24 hours because of the vehicle but was pleased and not expensive, not cheap but very fair.

If you need your car worked on this is a perfect please to go. They always take care of you just great people that work there. The owner is a great guy. I will NEVER take my car any were else .

I do outside sales out of Austin and found myself in Burnet with a leaky tire and a schedule to keep. Michael came out from behind the counter, patched the tire for me right away and kept me on my schedule for the day. Many thanks for the prompt service.

I went to waynes and i ordered some tires and as i ordered i sat down waited because they were airing my other 2 and kimberly disapeared never told me when what time how much and if i can pay just straight left without letting me know i got up and ask the gentleman when will they come in and if i can pay but he said i can pay when they come but they come in that afternoon so instead i called my husband to call them because i didnt get the info i needed

This is by far the best place to go. They had amazing customer service and provided great communication throughout the entire service. It was fair pricing, and they don’t try to pressure you into buying more than you need. The visit was quick and efficient. I highly recommend.

Fast and friendly. Saved our day from a blown tire disaster

During this bad weather spell, Kimberly from Waynes called me to let me know the status of my truck and the difficulties in receiving parts. I really appreciated the concern she expressed.

I asked to have my tires and wheels checked out due to some issues and I was concerned about safety. The next day my rear bearings went out on one side and I mean OUT nearly throwing my car into oncoming traffic. I came terrifyingly close to being injured and injurying others in a wreck. Enough said, moving on.

This tire company sold us 4 tires as new tires went to have the car balanced , found out they where 3 years old, He would not stand be hind his product.and splitting.

Great experience, ordered tires, they explained the warranty in detail. Very nice and pleasant experience with Kimberly.

Waynes kind service of taking off our stripped lug nut was more of a blessing than I can even discribe. Thank you Wayne, many blessings.

They updated their shop and changed clerks, thought Id try them again. Just an oil change they suggested a tire rotation. Tires are different in the back axle so they put them back. In doing so they bend all 4 rim covers and 2 hubcaps on my 1979 ford truck. Talked to Wayne personally, didnt apologize just said hell get new ones ordered and bring it back so they can put them on. When I came back he handed me the box said I can put them on so they dont mess them up again. Took my truck to another shop they said they were worse than I thought and the replacements given to me are for a Chevy, they didnt even give me the right parts. What a joke.

Went to Waynes for my first time. A friend recommended me to them. I DID NOT drop his name and they welcomed me with open arms. My truck is a diesel and not many places around Burnet TX to work on those. Long story short my trucks AC unit was fixed quick and the price was right.I have been screwed by mechanics in the past bad. I highly recommend this place.
