Chris is THE BEST!!!! I’ve been coming here for 10+ years. If you’re smart you know that so many places will take full advantage of you when you’re in need of a mechanic. They overcharge for parts and labor and it’s so stressful. Well, after dealing with one too many places like that I know very well that Chris is ALWAYS fair, honest, and ethical. He is always happy to explain everything that goes into fixing whatever your issue might be so that you understand and feel at ease. I absolutely love him and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Would give him 10 stars if I could!!!

Wish Id of found this place sooner. Very honest, very fair. Brought my truck for AC service after taking it to 4 different places with same problem over and over. Chris fixed it while I waited. Highly recommend using this place. 👍👍

Im from out of town & my air conditioning compressor clutch froze. Chris gave me a fair estimate on the compressor fix. In 1 day Chris completed my repair on top of that he reduced his initial estimate because my system was clean. If you want a top notch mechanic that is honest & forth right in repairing your vehicle, then take it to Chris. He has a lifetime customer in me. The best auto repair shop in Burleson!

Chris is a one man wrecking crew. Hes the mechanic, hes the secretary, hes the person who orders parts, hes the one who answers questions, he does it all. Once you understand that youll understand that when you call in the middle of the day this guy has been living under a cars hood, got greasy hands, sweating, tired, and he cant go through every intricate question 40 different ways. He will answer every question, explain everything, but dont expect a novel or a lesson, just expect the answer as hes got a million things to do.My alternator was going out in my truck, called him up and asked how much he would charge and why I thought it was alternator. He said thats what it sounds like to me too, X amount is the most it will cost but if its easier than it sounds like it will be less. When I got there the next morning I hit him with that oh by the way, my windshield fluid is spraying everywhere under the hood. (I forgot to mention day before.) He told me he would check it out. While he was working on the truck he also noticed a leaking radiator. I happened to add fluid to it about a week prior and should have known something wasnt right so when he mentioned it (followed by a picture of the green crusty radiator bottom) I knew it was time. I told him I knew hed take care of me so please fix it as I need to get it done.He calls me when done (the same day so I was able to have my truck the next day) which was a huge relief. He told me he took a $100 off alternator cost because it was easier than expected, got new radiator put in as well and even fixed the windshield washer pump while he was in there!Dont get offended if hes short or feels in a hurry, understand the persons vehicle hes working on is in a hurry to get their vehicle back. Just know the guy knows his stuff and will get your vehicle working like nothing ever happened.Side note - He closes at 5pm on Fridays. I live 30 minutes away and after I got off work and drove home at 6pm I thought of a question. I texted the number thinking no way Ill get a response until Monday but he responded within a few minutes. He put my mind at ease before the weekend and THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!Thanks Chris for the help, Ill be back but hopefully not soon lol.

A/C condenser cracked. Called Chris got a quote. I drove to his shop and I was in and out. Most places it would take longer to get a quote. Honest, reasonable price and quick. Hard to find that these days. Reviews say hes hard to get along with. I had no issues at all. He was friendly.

Chris saw my fiancé’s vehicle immediately, tested everything out and diagnosed the problem quickly. He gave me an estimate that was hundreds of dollars cheaper than any other place. They were helpful, informative, professional and kind. They also go above and beyond at this place, checked her oil and added some more for me and sprayed everything down with air to clean up the engine bay. Everything he did today was $110 cheaper than what I got quoted to even check things out with a days wait at multiple other places. I’ll be coming back here in the future without a doubt. A normal guy who’s hardworking, fairly priced, and genuine!Just so everyone knows, it’s cash or check only.

He is an honest mechanic. I got quoted an outrageous price from the dealer to fix horn wiring harness but he was able to do it for less than a tenth of what the dealership wanted

Called for a quick quote and this dude was very rude. It’s like he was rushing me off the phone and couldn’t finish my sentence before he was cutting me off. I hung up cause after all the A/C Repair shops I have called, they all asked about my car and a few more questions and was able to be courteous. Reading thru the reviews he is a good mechanic but seems like he needs to brush up on his customer service skills.

I had my AC and my tie rods worked on here. Chris was very fast, professional and honest. He responded quickly to all my questions and my AC works perfectly. I would definitely go back if I have any other issues and I would highly recommend him to others!Edit: My car is almost 20 years old so it has problems. I went back to Chris because my blinkers were shorting out and my taillight kept burning out. I had gone to another auto shop out of convenience and they couldnt figure out what was going on. He fixed both problems quickly and at a fair price. Everything is working great!

I am picky on where I leave reviews. But Chris saved me from laying on a grenade from the crooks at Christian brothers auto.They quoted me 525$ to change the resister and blower motor which would make the total to 701$ on my wifes 2015 Ford fusion for repair on the a/c. I wish I would of started off calling Chris in 1st place. Lesson learned with those crooks at Christian brothers. But Chris was nothing but professional and great pricing for labor and parts. Turns out the resister didnt even need to be changed.I couldnt of asked for a quicker and better experience dealing with Chris a/c & full auto and service. I would give more stars if I could. I will definitely be returning and recommend them.

I brought in my F550 a/c wasnt working. Had taken it to 2 other places neither could diagnose the issue. Chris got down and dirty, broke out the test light and got after it. Found the plug on the ac condenser was lose. Simple fix once you find someone who actually knows how to work on things still. Everyone other place would plug in their computer scanner and say everything looks good we dont know why its not working. Mechanics now days are just lazy is what it comes down too. For those of you who commented on here he was short on the phone when you called in. Stop your whining your part of the problem now days. Chris isnt gonna fix your car over the phone, Hes busy fixing peoples car who paid for his time. You want your POS fixed bring it down and pay him for his time.

Chris was amazing! My air conditioner was not working. I called a lot of places but $500 and up was the bottom line in all the answers I got. I’m on a fixed income and could not afford to pay that much. Chris was up front about what the costs would be. Base line was $100 to replace the Freon and see what was wrong, and then it depended on what was wrong with the AC. Turns out I had a slow leak in a hose and it needed to be replaced, or I would have to have the Freon replaced every so often. By this time I had realized that Chris was not the usual mechanic. He’s an A1 top notch mechanic who wants you to have a dependable and safe ride. He did more than fix my air conditioner, he made sure that everything else was in good shape before I left! Chris is my mechanic forever. He goes way above and beyond to give good service and won’t inflate the price just to make a few extra bucks!

Excellent service! I brought my car in to have my ac repaired with parts in hand. I needed a hose and valve replaced. I thought I would have to drop my car off and come back. He said it would only take 30-45 min. It didnt even seem that long. He was done before I knew it and he even topped off all of my fluids at no extra charge! Very fast service and very reasonable price. I saved at least $250 going through him than what I wouldve paid at Firestone. Highly recommend.

I needed to get my wifes car fixed because I had to travel, and it is Memorial Day! Bad time for a breakdown. Chris was open and willing to work on it, I managed to get the car to him, he was knowledgeable and did not give any answers that sound like someone talking down to you. I turned wrenches about 25 years ago, and I think Chris has a great automotive knowledge and experience. Thanks again for helping a guy out on a holiday!! WOW!!!I recently relocated back to Burleson, my brakes had been squeaking and a good friend of mine referred me to Chris, He told me he was the most honest mechanic around, he also warned me that he is upfront, straight forward, NO BS, he comes off sounding harsh and he doesnt waste your or his time with small talk.I stopped by Chris Auto and explained I had my brakes checked by Midas in Florida where I was told it would cost $1,048.00 to replace front and back Rotors and Brake Pads, since I could only afford to replace front at the time I knew once I got to Texas, I was going take care of the back ones.(I told Chris this so he would know I already knew what was wrong and how much to expect for the repairs)Chris had 3 other cars ahead of me and said if I wanted to leave it, I explained I just arrived 2 days prior and had no one to come pick me up, he said ok he would get to it but no guarantee as to the time, I said that’s fine I can wait.Thirty minutes later he came upfront got my keys took it for a test drive came back checked underneath and he showed me there was nothing wrong with my brake pads or rotors...WOW!!!!!! I was shocked he knew I was expecting to pay to replace them and yet he told me they were fine and did not need to be replaced, when I asked why they were squeaking he said because your car is an older auto (2015). AGAIN WOW!!! I asked what he would charge to replace brakes and rotors it was less than half of what Midas was charging me.I am a single woman and have been ripped off my entire life by mechanics so whenever possible I had my brother take my car into shops when something needed to be done. CHRIS AUTO IS THE MOST HONORABLE MECHANIC I HAVE EVER MET AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.However I recommend you arrange to leave your car as he is extremely busy his phone must have rung 20 times within the hour I was there.

Chris was very knowledgeable about auto a/cs and did a great job! I had a pretty significant leak and he was able to detect it very quickly. Once detected, he was immediately ready to fix the problem with the right solution, its not fun driving a hot car in the heat. Chris got the job done efficiently and correctly so now we are back on the road chilled better than before the leak. Thank you Chris, you will be my go to mechanic for now on!👍🤩

I took my 2012 Ford Escape to Chris’ Auto today. Chris is awesome! He replaced my radiator fan plus fixed my Ac quickly and at a more than reasonable price. After he was finished he then checked all my fluids and even topped them off. This wasn’t the first time that I have used this shop. He’s always been honest and maybe some people see that as being rude but I like honesty. Thanks

Ill start this review by saying I believe Chris is a good mechanic. He fixed my AC issue and did it in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. Now for the bad, the customer service at this business is some of the worst Ive ever seen. I work in customer service for a living and this guy does not know how to treat a customer. Just like most of the other reviews state, Chris customer service skills are non existent and he comes off as flat out rude! Had I known I would be treated like I was wasting his time I would have taken my business elsewhere. I fully expect a reply from Chris just like with the other reviews that show his real character so stay tuned.... If you dont care about customer service and are strictly price driven, this is the place for you. If you prefer to be treated with respect go somewhere else...

Great service: Not sure what these bad reviews are about, but Chris is a nice guy. I have brought a few vehicles to him the past 3 yrs. Fair price and great work. He is honest with his prices and quick to get them fixed. He is the first call the wife or I make when we need service.

Chris was a breath of fresh air. I attempted to replace my grandmother’s wheel bearing on her 2002 Focus, and I fouled it up real good. I had it towed to him, and he said the expect to pay $250. When it was all said and done he only charged $200.On top of that I handed him what I thought was $140, but two of the bills were stuck together. He quickly told me it was actually $160. I loved my experience, and I won’t go anywhere else if he offers the service I need.Easy access. Same day service. Straight shooter. No BS. Trustworthy. The world needs more guys like him.

I have a check engine light on with a code that said the thermostat needs replacing. I am over 100 miles from home.. I called one mechanic who wanted to charge $129 just to re-diagnose, and another mechanic said he did not have time to look at it.I called Chris A/C & Full Auto Service. I told him my situation. He told me the code and said the thermostat is stuck open, it will not cause my car to overheat, it is safe to drive until I get back home, and the only problem I will have is passing inspection.That was such a relief, and I am so appreciative that he was honest and did not try to rip me off since Ima female. I recommend anyone needing auto service to take your business to this respectable mechanic!Thank you very much Chris!!

Chris is honest, fair and fast. He is great. He fixed my Yukon AC computer module inside of 2 hrs and it is super. I know now where I will be sending people and will have other work done as needed as well. I think this young man is one of the honest ones out there and is super fair. Wanna get ripped off, go to lynn smith and they will do just that, but if you want fair and honest and a hard working man that stands behind his work, take your work to Chris.

Took my truck in with a inoperable driver side door window. Was told the repair could take a few days since they were pretty backed up. Got a call the next day saying the truck had been fixed. Spoon arriving at the shop the gentleman told me he noticed my a/c was not up to par and found a leak with low Freon. They fixed my leaks and topped of the Freon free of charge. Hard to find a shop that goes above and beyond anymore. Chris has my business from now on.

Nissan was going to charge me a insane amount for stuff that didnt need to be done had it transferred to Chris got it fixed for way way way less also in like 2 days! Chris does good work and hes honest which is very appreciated.

Chris is a good mechanic, honest and charged us a more than fair price. Didnt charge us for oil he put in or to clean leaked oil off our engine. Highly recommend!! Dont believe the negative reviews

Took my truck to Chris as a recommendation of a friend. We discussed what needed to be done. He completed the work at a fair price and promptly. I was pleased with the work and plan on taking my wifes car in soon. Lets support the independents out there or we will only have the faceless chains to deal with.

BEWARE!! READ IN FULL!Went in two days ago for a diagnostic. He charged me $50 to tell me that my AC compressor was bad. I went back in today with a new compressor and was charged $300 for labor to replace the compressor. I wrote him a check and was on my way, but then my AC stopped working not even 10 seconds after I got out of his garage. Turns out the compressor I had before was still good, so I spent $250 on a new compressor for nothing. Then, to try to get the A/C working he first tried replacing other sensors and relays, and eventually tried rigging some shady wiring that resulted in the car almost catching fire, which we caught in time before it did any serious damage. I felt bad that he worked on the car all day; but the car remains with no A/C and Im actually in a worse situation than I was before. So he got $350 of my money, and I paid $250 in addition for a new compressor elsewhere which I cant return, and Im still left with a non working A/C. Finally - this is where the 1 star comes in and I wouldnt even have left a review if not for this. He was cool and personable and respectful UNTIL he tried to charge me $50 more for a part that - 1) wasnt needed, and 2) I never even agreed to pay for before he put it in. Then when he said I owed him $50 more, I stated I already paid $350 for labor involving an issue that isnt fixed, and I didnt think I should have to pay anymore. He then went into a rage and started punching walls, and slamming doors, screaming, and told me to get out of his shop. Im not even mildly exaggerating, it was unbelievable and I actually left in fear. This man has serious anger issues. He doesnt deserve your business, go somewhere else.

For anyone who gave Chris less than 5 stars. They are apparently people you can never please. He does great work. Price is more than fair. My daughter sent me to Chris A/C & Full Auto Service. I won’t go anywhere else. Unless he moves his shop. Thank Chris for you quality and fair work.

Wow! Its a breath of fresh air to deal with an individual that has mastered his craft. After dealing with some other local companies that either didnt have a clue or never called me back, I took to Google and stumbled across this long time Burleson gem.Chris worked me in and reviewed my situation same day. Told me what the problem appeared to be and gave me a range of what the cost and timeline would be. A day later and I was back behind the wheel of my repaired Cadillac!Highly recommend Chris!

This shop is amazing. I took my car in for Chris to replace the cam censor that my boyfriend had installed wrong. Not only did he replace my cam censor, but he also noticed it was time for an oil change on my car, and did that with no extra charge. Awesome service, and awesome prices. Definitely recommend Chris for any vehicle maintenance.

I replaced the AC condenser on my 2018 Silverado, and needed the system purged and recharged. Chris went above and beyond to get my truck into the shop on my schedule and had me up and going in an hour. Down to earth, hard working dude who does his best to accommodate his customers. Thanks Chris!

I had taken my truck to Service One in Mansfield to fix an oil leak and noticed after the work was complete paid and drove away that my heater was no longer working. I then took it to Chris and he had it diagnosed and fixed within no time and explained how it was a miss related to the last repair. Chris is outstanding in his knowledge and diagnostics with out a machine was amazing to me and to take the time to explain is the best peace of mind any auto driver today can have and rare. For all the negative folks that have left a bad review, just what do you expect. This young man is honest,fair, and extremely hard working. If you want to get ripped off and feel good about it go to the dealership. If you want a non candy coated, get your car fixed right, this is your place. If you were terminally Ill, would you prefer to have your chain yanked by a smooth talking specialist or a good old straight talking doctor that doesnt pull any punches. Called for a quote for break change he was very short and rude… that alone made me not want to patronize his business. I do not recommendPeople who have horrible customer service skills should not have a business where you have to deal with the public or customers.

Took car for A/C diagnose & recharge. He said it had a small leak and he couldn’t find the leak so I said do I need to take it somewhere else and he said it should last for a year. Really... No dye, bring it back , nothing.... that’s why I paid $100 even though on web site it says $95...Never going there again!!!! Please be careful, he doesn’t seem like a people person either... Really should be ZERO star!!!!

I had Chris replace the clutch in my sons Hyundai Tiburon. He quoted me a very good price so we dropped the car off.He called back to let me know that it would be more than he quoted due to the type of clutch the Tiburon has. No big deal, I had read about that online so I knew it to be true. He still had the best price in town so I went with it.The next day when I was supposed to pick it up he told me hed need another day with it. The new clutch wasnt working and he had to take it all apart again. Again, no big deal, I wanted it done right.We picked the car up, it ran and shifted great, so I thought all was well. Until I opened the hood a couple of days later. All of the shrouds covering the top of the engine and battery were missing. I called Chris and he said no problem, just come by anytime and hed reinstall them. I sent my son over to get them installed and a little bit later he came back with 1 of the covers and a handful of bolts. Chris just had it over to him, told him the covers werent necessary and sent him on his way! There were 4 or 5 more plastic pieces that Chris didnt even give to him!As soon as I found this out I took my son and his car back to Chriss. I told Chris that I need him to install the rest of the covers. He met us in front of his shop a few minutes later with the parts and handed them to me along with a handful of bolts and clips. I repeated that he needed to install the covers. Thats when he informed me that the covers are not necessary and that he would not reinstall them. I was fairly incredulous at this point and I asked him if he was serious and he said yes, the covers are purely cosmetic and he refused reinstall them. I asked him if her really wanted to handle things this way. He said yes and walked away.We took the parts and went home. My son and I reinstalled them in less than 15 minutes. For 15 minutes of work Chris has lost me and my family, and anyone else I can convince to never darken his door, as customers forever.The bottom line here is that Chris spent twice the amount of time replacing the clutch than he should have, rightly did not charge me for any additional labor, and did not want to spend a minute longer working on my sons car. Up to that point I was very impressed with his honesty and thought I had found my new mechanic. But refusing to replace a few simple plastic shrouds that he took off in the first place to do the job, not matter how unnecessary he thought they were, destroyed any chance of me ever using him again.

Chris was great! My truck steering gear box went bad and he had it fixed the same day. I was in a bind, I am from Alabama and did not have another vehicle, he told me to get it to him and he would have it fix the same day. He lived up to his word.

Chris was very thorough and honest about the issue I had with my AC. He quoted 500 to 1200 dollars for possible repair but my fix was severely lower than anticipated. Needless to say my daughters AC is working great!! Thanks Chris!!

In this day and age there are very few true mechanics. That rare breed of individual that actually fixes broken parts. Now days you have auto technicians that simply remove and replace broken parts. Chris is a mechanic in the purest form. And dont let the look of his shop influence your decision to use his services,...he knows were each and every tool and part is located.

Chris does great work, at fair prices. But I use him more than anything because of his honesty. If you want someone who will fix only what needs to be fixed, done right, and at a fair price, hes your guy.

Pauls a/c might have been great but Chris a/c has a lot to be desired. 1st only accepts cash with no receipt for work. maybe the IRS needs to know about that... insinuated that I was an idiot because I was incapable of checking my own a/c at home because I did not have his $4000 machine. second, said system was shot and would cost $1500 plus to fix it and still charged $90 even tho system was shot(per Chris?) what happened to the $40 diagnostic check ? third, offered to pray for me because I questioned his charge amount. Sir, you will be in my prayers. Consumer beware.

Chris explained everything he doing in laymen terms so that I understood. His fees were reasonable and he finished quickly. Highly recommend this auto shop. I will bring my vehicles back for service as needed.

I am fairly new to Burleson and havent had time to get to know the important people (plumbers, electricians, mechanics, etc.) so I showed up at Pauls thanks to a recommendation from a co-worker.I fully expected to make an appointment for the next day or so, but Paul and his guy jumped right on it and found the issue in less than 5 minutes.Then came the quotes, If this is whats wrong, it will run you this much ... but if this is whats wrong, it will cost this ... and [so on] ...I fully expected the problem to be in the middle range of problems he told me about, and wouldnt have known the difference if he said it was the more expensive problem.Not in my wildest dreams did I think it would be the low-end problem, but I ended up walking out of there an hour or so later with a perfectly-functioning AC and a MUCH smaller dent in my wallet than I expected.Based on this great experience, I will never go anywhere else, ever, for AC work, and I am posting my recommendation for his shop where my fellow BISD employees can read it.Thank you, Paul!

I enjoyed the quality of the work done and the respectfulness and professionalism from a couple of the workers. One was kind of rude but Im not gonna let it bother me. They still did a great job on my vehicle and they were polite and professional for the most part. I did enjoy my stop and their service.

Have been to two other places and couldnt get my air conditioner to work correctly. After leaving here and for a very reasonable price my air conditioner has worked better than it ever did. Highly recommend

Fast and nice service. Friendly people with great and warm greetings. No trying to get me to buy extra tires told me what the issues were and what happened gave me options from low to high price points. I wasnt pressure to buy any of them.

This a/c place was great did the job under budget. Let me know the best and the worst case scenario up front knowledgeable about cars and is the second generation mechanic to run this shop. I would definitely suggest giving him a try at your car. Again thanks for the ac help

Ive never utilized this shop. I read reviews prior to visiting any business. The most recent review regarding the cosmetics under the hood is what saved me from giving this place a shot. Now, I understand that every business will have customers they just can not please. However it was not necessarily the customers review that keeps me away. Its the OWNERS RESPONSE! Even a simple Im sorry this happened would have made me ignore the review. Bad job conducting your business, sir.The Ford shirt on you business does not help :)

And i am not friends with the ferris dude. Sorry to burst your bubble you cant get customers with continued bad reviews and just because you say god bless at the end of all your responses does not make up for your attitude or poor service to your customers or potential customers.

Chris fixed my A/C in 20 mins. Needed a new O-Ring and a full freon charge. Best $130 Ive spent this summer. Very fluent and particular.

The AC went out on our odyssey so we took it to Chris and about an hour later we were good to go! He is knowledgeable AND reasonable!

Ive been coming to Chris autos for a few years and not once have I ever received a wrong or bad diagnosis. Always helpful and always tries to save me money when hes able.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen worse customer service, very rude and short as if you’re wasting his time being there. Was there for 15 mins top and charged me 40$ just to tell me I needed a part that he didn’t have and I already knew was messed up. If you wanna give your money to somebody who will appreciate your business this is the last place to go.

Had my A/C checked out on my old van told me exactly what was wrong and how much it was gonna be. I don’t know what other places charge but my a/c works like a champ. Done same day. That’s what matters no waiting 2-3 days. Very professional. Thanks Chris

Had A 94 Chevy With A/c Problems And I Went To Numerous Shop And All Left The Job Horrible And Didnt Know What They Were Doing! So I Headed To Chris And Man He Really Knows His Work And Knowledge !Got Everything Fixed And Working Probably Within An Hr And Till This Day Ice Cold!

This fella is top notch. Went in for a wheel/suspension issue and Chris immediately diagnosed and got me taken care of. Super honest and he educates his customers on little details as well. He just gained a long term customer!

I’m gonna give him 4 stars just out if reputation even though I havnt and won’t be using him but I called and I don’t want to hear people say poor guy working hard in the heat. Blah blah blah. I’m 64 and busted my ass in the heat my whole life. So cut it with the violins. So what’s my problem. The dude is rude.
