Had such a great experience with A & E! Everyone I spoke with, from scheduling my service to my tech, were so kind and helpful.I own a short-term rental property in Canyon Lake and we had an emergency where the heater wasnt working for one of our guests. I was able to call at 8 PM and get an appointment scheduled for the next day! Our tech was able to be at the property the next morning and got our system up and running!I will definitely be using them for the foreseeable future!

Heating system quit working. Woke up to a freezing cold house. Called A&E and they responded immediately. Jarred diagnosed the problem however, the parts warehouse was closed so he couldn’t fix it until the next morning. He called around 8:00 the next morning and said he was on his way. He arrived shortly thereafter, installed the part in less than an hour. Can’t thank the A&E team enough. Quick, Polite, Knowledgeable customer service and service technicians.

I called to get a Maintenance contract on my 4 yr old AC unit. I requested Jarrod because he is conscientious and will look at every little detail. He checked the unit out both inside and out. He did find a loose connection other companies couldn’t find. This company is awesome, and I highly recommend them. Thank you so much for your quick response.

The AC Technician that was sent to address my AC problem could not figure out what was wrong with my HVAC system, still charged me $400 and left it worst then found, wires disconnected, and furnace box damaged. Whats worst is that He suggested I buy a brand new HVAC system from them at discount price of 12K. Called another AC service and fixed it withing 30 mins for just $100. It was just a wire on the defrost board that needed to be reconnected, and that was it.

I’ve been using A & E for decades, but my latest experience was quite a letdown. My air conditioner went out, and with the heat rising, I decided to call them despite their after-hours fee of $139. The technician came, discovered a clogged line, and quickly fixed it. However, I was shocked by the final bill: $139 for the after-hours service, $129 for blowing out the line, and a $9.38 administrative fee for processing my credit card. According to my RING camera, the technician was on my property for just 22 minutes from the time he entered/exited my gate. This felt like an excessive charge and left me feeling like I was being taken advantage of.Despite being a long-time customer, I feel that A & E has shifted to a profit over service mentality, prioritizing financial gain over the quality and fairness of their service.

Jerry was the service tech who came out and he did a great job. Very professional and very personable. I will continue to use A&E for servicing our AC system & I highly recommend Jerry.

Gerald Miller is the best technician I have dealt with all my years of being a customer here. He explained things well using actual pictures of the problems in my system.

Ive used A & E for many years and the main reason simply we trust them. All of the representatives are professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the service from A&E. They had replaced the outdoor and indoor unit of my elderly mother-in-law back in 2020. Then the unit was not cooling during our recent heat wave. After discovering it was a leaking coil they were able to replace it under warranty. However, they still charged a $345 diagnostic fee and would not waive the $89 trip fee either, even thought the unit was under a service contract that included labor. The next day the unit quit working again so they had to come back and found the drain was clogged and charged another $89 trip fee and around $220 to unclog the drain. Then in two more days the unit was not working again so I had another company come out and do an evaluation and they saw the drain was still clogged and that others items were not done correctly. When I asked A&E to evaluate the document photos and report in order to issue a refund for their charges to unclog the drain they would never respond. Not only were there fees unreasonable but their work and results were sub-par and they would not stand behind their work.

Unbelievably good AC service!!!I called and the manager Craig answered professionally and was so helpful. Not like many other AC repair company phone receptionists and answering services. Although they were booked until next week, he rearranged things and got Gerard out the same day! Gerard diagnosed the problem and got my AC cooling again. I am very impressed with this local Bulverde based company and so glad I found them.

Came home tonight to my house sitting at 84 and the outside unit making a weird noise. Called the service recommended by builder and was told labor is out of warranty but parts are covered. Unfortunately they prioritize full warranty customers first 😡 and may not be able to get us on schedule tomorrow so they will call me in the morning to let me know. No care whatsoever...so I see on neighborhood page that A&E has been recommended. I call and from Alex answering phone, to service scheduler, to Jared our FANTASTIC service tech. They showed they cared and came out same night. Jared did his assessment, confirmed our suspicion of the problem. He was not even upset when we said we think we can fix the issue ourselves. Jared was professional and polite and we really appreciated it! I cant recommend this company enough right now! Thank you so much! You have earned yourselves a dedicated customer going forward.

Great service, A/C went down, and they were at my house within 2 hours on a hot summer day. Tech (Jerry Y) was very nice and answered all my questions. Highly Recommended.

Just wants your money! Tech came around 4pm and left around 5pm. AC stopped working by sunset and so I asked for them to come back the next morning. They came out next morning but couldn’t do anything to fix the issue and still charged me an additional $89 on top of the $159 the day before. Doesn’t care about relationship with home owner, only bottom line.

They put a new unit in my house. Cost me nearly 8k. It was improperly charged with freon, has had problems freezing up since it was installed. I ended up having to pay another company to come add freon and get it working. 800 dollars that I feel should have been under warranty. I was told it would be a few days before they could get to me because they sent out about 10k cards to have Acs checked before summer and about 9k replied. A customer with a down system should take priority over a system check but, apparently not with A&E. I am going to take my business elsewhere and encourage you to consider doing the same so you get the service you pay for. They have given me the run around since day 1 and will not be getting any more of my money. Everything my system now needs is imagine this NOT COVERED by warranty so, I will be paying out of pocket AGAIN. If thats the case it wont be A&E getting the business! Rant over !

Parts were under warranty so there should be no charge for the coil. Took 3 hours to do repair at $600 an hour according to the charges. What am I missing? Technician was very good and on time.

Jerry was wonderful, our 6 month service advisor! He explained what he did for maintenance , checked to see if everything thing was installed correctly! Highly recommend this company!We love our heat pump very efficient and the Aprilaire Air Filter is wonderful!

I have 3 systems and I love that A&E can service them all with just one phone call. I have used them for 5 years or more and have never been disappointed.

I have had the BEST service with A&E. Brent installed my new AC years ago and I have a maintenance agreement where they check my unit twice a year. I like knowing my drain line is cleaned out before summer and having my heater checked before winter. I couldnt be more happy with the techs and great service. :)

Good company, knowledgeable technicians that inform homeowners of issues and give options, doesnt push sales. Good office staff, good work performed.

Extremely disappointed in this company. They came out to my house for an estimate and Joshua opened out backyard gate. When he was finished he didn’t bother to close the gate knowing we have 4 dogs. We let them outa few minutes later and of course they all left. My husband and I spent about half an hour scouring the neighborhood and collecting them all. When I called their number I was asked 1000 questions. Terrible company and we won’t be using them for our repairs.

We woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold. Our heater had quit working. We called A&E to come out. Their response time was excellent, and the technician Tony was very friendly and helpful. He had the part we needed on his vehicle, and had us up and going in no time. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone I know. Thank you A&E!

We recently had a&e a.c. install a complete a.c. system. The a.c. works fine and the install seems to be ok but the communication was terrible. They advertised a $500 discount on their website then conveniently removed the advertisement when we ask for the discount to be applied. Took us over a week to get our receipt that we asked for for days. Not sure what was going on there. We dont get a professional feeling with this company. Many different stories out of the office and from the owner. We feel like they owe us the $500 discount that mysteriously was removed from the website. O.. when we finally got the receipt a week later, the price was jacked up to reflect the discount we never got.

I requested to get a copy of my warranty back in May 2019 and still do not have it. I have followed up via phone and email since May 2019 with no luck. Each time I am told the Office Manager will call me back. I will encourage everyone not to conduct business with this company. This is unprofessional and I have no tolerance for it.

Do not use! If you use this company you are wrong! I purchased a system from A and E in the summer of 2020. They have been nothing short of absolutely awful to work with.It has been about six months since I purchased a 2 ton unit and it started having issues with heat. It was clear that the problem was due to a bad install. The fan speed was set improperly and the Freon level was wrong causing the unit to shut down. The unit had not been serviced by any other company. They billed for the repair even though it was their bad install that resulted in the problem and the unit was under warranty.The problems with this company started immediately! Right after the unit was installed, I noticed a huge mess that they left by the unit, broken concrete, wire, lunch trash etc. On further inspection We found that they had not hooked up the emergency heat, they installed the drain line improperly and the Unit was pressurizing wrong causing it to shut down.The bottom line is . . . don’t use this company! If you do, be prepared for them to fight you tooth and nail on everything. They are absolutely terrible to work with.

Not a good experience. They broke a knob on a little door that opens to access the ac unit. Also they over charged for a repair. The repair didnt even last 24 hours and the ac stopped working. Then they came back and said the unit needed to replaced. They didnt even bother to try to fix it.

Josh was thorough, courteous and performed his tasks efficiently. He was informative in describing our service needs and performed the routine maintenance as well as the minor repairs with confidence. He is certainly invited back to our home for future maintenance and service.

Joshua was very nice and knowledgeable. Was able to get a diagnostic on our AC within minutes and found it to be a simple fix. Thankfully! These guys are the best!

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for maintenance on a unit they installed 5 years ago. They were to be here between 8 & 11 because I have another appointment this afternoon. I called at 10:20 to ask and was told he would be here by 11. It is now 11:30 and he just arrived. Not happy.

A&E is a GREAT HVAC company. They did everything to get the part we needed to keep the Rail Road cooling. From all the quotes that I received A&E was the cheapest.Thank you A&E from everyone at Pacific Rail Services!!!

The service experience has been terrible and the employee is trying to blame me for the repair that failed after three weeks. It is all well and good until something goes wrong and you see if someone stands behind their work.
