Weve used Climate Mechanical for years. We have an older house, they replaced our entire A/C system including the ducts, moved the system from one side of the house to the other and moved the return to the attic. This is A LOT of work. They cleaned up after themselves, were professional, courteous and provided excellent customer service. The owner was very good about monitoring the progress and work of his team. Mike W. does a terrific job of trouble shooting issues and resolves them on the first service call.We have a second house that my parents live in that Climate Mechanical did not install the unit, but they have serviced many service times and that has also has been an excellent experience. They come out quickly, even on the weekend and nights and resolve the issue on the first visit.Frankly, based on my experiences, Im surprised by some of the comments Im seeing on here. In my experience Mike and his team have quality work and business ethics and theyre super friendly.

Weve been a Climate Mechanical customer for nearly 30 years. Mike, the owner, has been to our house several times, and weve always gotten great service, both from him and his employees. The most recent service was to replace our 23 year old unit, which we bought from them in the first place (they sell good stuff)! And we got a reasonable price on the new one. This was in the middle of a home remodeling project, and Mikes crew had to work around the carpenters and others in the same part of the house. We know we can get help within hours if anything fails, whether on a 3-day weekend (4th of July heat) or in the middle of the winter.

I have used Climate Mechanical for service over the years and they always did a good job. So when one of my units finally bit the dust, I got bids from them and 2 other companies. I was very pleased with their pricing. They were on time and installed 2 new units for me. I have had 3 consecutive months of lower energy bills compared to last year. It was so worth it. Thanks to Mike and his crew for taking great care of my home.

I highly recommend this company. I own a Lakehouse in Kingsland and I live in California. I have to rely on vendors often without being able to meet them. It is very hard to get reliable help to get things done at my Lakehouse. The owner and staff at Climate Mechanical were there for me when I needed them. My heat pump recently went out and they got there and helped me immediately. They have been able to meet all of my needs very timely!I normally do not take the time to give out reviews, but it is very difficult today to find labor. You cannot go wrong with these guys!

We are very satisfied with our new HVAC system, and responsiveness of the company for post-installation problems. During the installation process there was a profound lack of communication regarding scheduling of the workmen. (no-show, hours early arrival) A drop-by visit to the South Congress office brought this frustrating situation to Mikes attention, and he was attentive to our concern. Customer service is good, the workers are skillful, and the price was excellent.

What a great company! They are quick to respond, efficient, professional and trustworthy. Having an air-conditioning unit stop working in Austin, Texas is no small stressor! Climate Mechanical eases the anxiety because I know it will be remedied fast and the expense will not be unreasonable. I highly recommend this company for all your heating and air conditioning needs!

Top notch customer service and workmanship. I all but gave up on Austins skilled craftsmen until I contacted Climate Mechanical. Tom has been out to my house twice and his knowledge, skill and customer service is second to none!! I thought that type of work ethic was long gone but I was wrong!!! ***** 07/2017 Ive also done an update on YELP. Climate President contacted me after almost 3 years to replace unit and make it right. please read as it explains exactly how this Company operates. I would rate them a zero.They didnt replace unit but wanted me to remove all negative reviews or they would sue me!!!!10/14/14 BUYER BEWAREBefore you have any HVAC pulled out check what brand and SEER they are installing. Austin energy had this free weatherization program. We qualified. The nightmare began. The owner refused,to let us keep our original unit. He put a Coleman 15 Seer , single stage compressor with no variable speed. He took out a 14.5 SEER Lennox that had a one stage compressor and variable,speed.Our old unit was more efficient. We had Climate out 2 times for high humidity after the install.The second time the Service Manager came out. The first tech that came out here was told to lower the fan speed.What he did was raise the fan speed.The Service Manager said the first tech messed up. BTW there is a,wiring diagram of the fan speed that he totally neglected to see.The Service Manager supposedly fixed the problem.A few days later we call Climate and speak to The Service Manager.There was still a humidity problem.He states there is nothing that he can pull out of his bag of tricks. He states what do u want from us?He states the unit is working the best it can. I dont see any reason to come out thereI was mortified. We have a year parts and labor warranty. They will not come out . Arent they in violation of their warranty? Be very careful dealing with this company.

We had extensive damage to both of our A/C units from the hail storm in May. Climate Mechanical helped us to determine the best replacement units for the outside and at the same time updated the indoor equipment as well as the temperature control system. The CM team ensured the installation was a smooth process and we feel it was reasonably priced. As an added bonus, the new equipment has helped to reduce our utility bills.

We have been using Climate Mechanical (CM) for service and a recently installed Trane system for over a decade. Their service and responsiveness have been exemplary. A few weeks ago the condensate drain line backed up, flooded the plenum and stained a small section of our family room ceiling. When we discovered the back-up, CM immediately dispatched a tech who resolved the problem. The following day, a the senior professional assessed the damage and a few days later an installer replaced the plenum, installed a very large drip pan and set several safety switches to avoid future mishaps.Since the ceiling was stained, the owner, Mike, sent his painter to our house to repair and paint the ceiling stains to our satisfaction.The new Trane system was installed over a year ago and CM stood behind its warranty and completely fixed the problem timely and without hesitation. All of the service techs and professionals were courteous, on time and cleaned up after the jobs were completed.I would highly recommend Climate Mechanical without reservation. They are a top HVAC company with a quality team of professionals and an owner who stands behind his work.

Having obtained quotations for three different brands to replace our two heat pumps and associated equipment, we retained Climate Mechanical as offering the best value with Trane equipment. Mike Wiegman offers very good practical knowledge of HVAC equipment and works with the customer to determine what the optimum solution is. The crew was scheduled promptly, performed the work expeditiously in a professional way. The workers were very careful not to damage the walls and hardwood floors while removing the old equipment out and carrying the new one in. Could not be any happier with either the workmanship or our new installation.

Climate Mechanical installed a new Trane system for my condo. They also analyzed the airflow inside and added a new register. Very satisfied with the quality of workmanship and their pricing. Recommend them highly.

Had Climate Mechanical come out and check my A/C unit and they did an awesome job. They were there when they said theyd be there. Price was reasonable. If youre looking for an awesome AC company, call Climate Mechanical. You wont be disappointed.

Through the City of Austin I received free weatherization work from Climate Mechanical. They were very professional and worked with my hectic schedule. I also had solar screens put on all my windows at a discounted price. The City paid for everything else! I can’t express how grateful I am for this program from the City and Climate Mechanical for the amazing service.

We made an appointment and got service in the same day! Upon his timely arrival, Tom was able to diagnose and repair the problem in less than a half hour. He had the parts on hand for the repair that was needed, checked with the office to confirm that the part was under warranty, showed me what the problem was and fixed it. He also flushed out the lines which wed been having trouble with as well. Im back in business, finishing canning the end of season peaches, and well all be able to get some sleep despite the heat.What a great powerhouse of a team this business is. First choice if anyone needs a.c. repair.

I called over 10 companies at midnight last night (no one answered ) when my rental house unit went out , and I never have spoken with such a polite person as I did in the middle of the night . She didnt mind me waking her and was eager to help ! My tenants are happy Im happy and I will definitely use climate again . Thank you Jennifer and your team for making it all better!

My experience was very negative, the word of this company means nothing! I first called to make an appointment this was for Wed. upon seeking why they did not show it turns out I was bumped from the schedule. So, they told me how sorry they were and told me what day they could work me in for my appointment on Fri. but again no show. I had too call again, this time they claimed emergency as the reason for not keeping their word. Again, we are so sorry we will meet you tomorrow at Sat. at noon. They called, Sat. morning 8am after all of this to inform me they werent coming citing outside of their service area aND wold cost them too much money. This information should have been shared with me from the start! But no, they kept me hang on a string in the heat for 3 days with kids in the home. Do not believe anything this company says because Climate Mechanical does not do what they say they will do and therefore can not be trusted with the repair or installation of such a large investment in comfort. If, you choose to use this company you might come to regret that phone just as I did.

Our technician for our annual heater inspection was Tim. He was prompt, helpful, and punctual. Tim is the kind of inspector you like to have come to your house.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Theyre techs are rude and inexperienced. If they dont know something, they just make up stuff to push you towards buying new equipment. Total scam artists. Wouldnt send them to my worst enemy. You have been warned.
