Central Air is great, courteous and prompt! They came the next day after they were called and fixed my heater very quickly. They had the part needed in their van so they were able to do everything in one trip. I highly recommend them.

What a great experience I had with Central Air & Appliance Service! It was in the hottest summer of 2022 when my neighbor’s son (the rest of the family was on vacation across the world) complained that their A/C unit stopped working for 3 days already. I called Alex (as recommended by a friend) that morning and he was able to squeeze me in his hectic schedule. He came on that same day, diagnosed the problem, and explained what happened and what to do to fix the issue. Alex came back the ff day, fixed everything, and everyone was happy! He’s nice and respectful. Highly recommended!

Alex and his team at Central Air are simply fantastic. They are professional, kind, and reasonably priced. My wife and I are very glad we used them to install our new HVAC system when we purchased our home. Alex has even come out to check on a small issue we had unrelated to his work, and didn’t charge for the visit. We will certainly use him again!

We have known Mr.Alex Lopez for years and trust me when I say, he is a true professional and knows his job extremely well and probably the best technician in this area and the surroundings. I would even vouch for as one of the best in Texas! We first received a recommendation to use his services when my dad had AC trouble at their new home years ago. He is an engineer himself and met with several companies to diagnose an issue he had with the system. No one was able to find a correct solution until Mr.Lopez came and was able to find the problem area and also save him money. My dad told me he found the best tech in our area and to only trust him. My dad is “very” picky and I knew he found the right company for all appliance repair. We have since always called Mr.Lopez for all of our appliance issues and needs. I have called him for our homes and businesses. He is extremely punctual and always responds back in timely fashion. Mr. Lopez will break everything down and explain what is going on and what he needs to do to fix it. We recently moved to a new home and had an issue with our heater during the severe winter storm of 2021. We called a few available companies that were able to come out at that moment to diagnose the issue. The first company misdiagnosed and then told us we had to replace our entire furnace which would of cost a couple thousand dollars. Mr.Lopez came and he did a thorough check and gave us a totally different diagnosis. We of course, decided to work with Mr.Lopez. He explained what was going on and we feel he “really” knows his business. He is the “only” tech we trust. If you want to get your appliances repaired the right way, call Mr.Lopez. He will save you time and have your appliances working back to optimal level. He is a trustworthy person with great character. You will not be disappointed.

Alex did a fantastic job and is very knowledgeable. He diagnosed our problem quickly and was able to complete the repair quickly and efficiently. He was very meticulous and cleaned up after the repair as well. We will definitely be using Central Air & Appliance again in the future and recommend him to our friends.

Mr. Alex helped us repair our AC unit on the same day it broke down. He took the time to explain to us the issues we had with our unit, procured the new equipment and installed it all within 5 days and at a fair price. He called and texted with updates and even checked on us on a Sunday to make sure everything was running smoothly. My AC went out last night approximately at 2:00am.So I went out and grabbed my old AC unit and hooked it up in the window and started to look for someone to work on my home AC unit. After looking at reviews I settled here because of the reviews that I read. At first I wondered if it wasnt true Because this company had no bad reviews I mean everybody does right? After reading the reviews I realized that they were real people who had said that he had done a wonderful job. My situation was no different I called him and another two hours he had me fixed. By the way this is also on a weekend. When I called him I expected to wait until Monday or later. After talking to him he was able to take care of me right then and he did a superb job. He was respectful of me and my home he was respectful of my belongings and he was a pleasure to be around. I will most definitely use them in the future and I am recommending everyone use him. It is obvious that he cares about his work and his customers. I cannot give him five stars without saying how much I appreciate what he has done and how he was taken care of us. Five stars five stars five stars five stars. Did I mention he did a great job because he did.

I have used this service for many years. They are dependable and honest. They arrive on time and provide excellent service. This past summer my unit went out. If you live in south Texas, you will remember how very hot it was and there was no rain. I was so very grateful for the employees of Central Texas Air. I know nothing about these systems, and told them. They explained the differences in a 3 vs 4 ton and the size needed for the house of my size. They quickly got the new system in and installed. They also told me about the City of College Station rebate program. I looked into the program, submitted the documents, and received the rebate. I highly recommend this company.

I have used Central Air and Appliance Service for 17 years for any appliance problems that I have. I also use them for my annual heating and air conditioning check up. I have always been pleased with their responsiveness and efficient service. Recently, my old air conditioning unit lost its Freon charge and the house started warming up (100 degree day). I called Mr. Alex Lopez at Central Air late on Saturday afternoon and he came right out. He discovered a leak in my attic evaporator coil, but managed to get me enough cooling going to tolerate waiting for the part to come in. He clearly explained our options on this repair, as my outside unit was also very old. My wife and I decided to go ahead and have the outside condenser replaced also. His crew came out as scheduled and replaced the whole A/C with a more efficient and quieter modern unit. I was pleasantly surprised when we got the total charges, as it was less than we had expected. I trust Mr. Lopez as an honest professional and highly recommend him to anyone needing services.

We all eventually have all dealt with air conditioning and heating issues and are at the mercy of who we end up picking. Usually through a friend or relatives recommendation. Unfortunately for me, I did not have that option. I have a condo in College Station that I have a Home Warranty program for insurance. They are the ones who pick the sub-contractor to fix ant warranty issues. In this case, I was extremely fortunate that they hooked me up with Alex Lopez from Central Air & Appliance back in 2011. I am very fortunate to have Alex. Hes very thorough in explaining what is needed and how long it will take to get the parts and repair. Hell keep me posted on the progress of his work by either texting (with pictures) or a phone call in necessary. I have used him outside my warranty program as well and overall is very reasonable and willing to work with his customers. If there were more companies like Central Air and Alex, we would all be better off.I highly recommend these guys and hope your experience will be as good if not better than mine!

Alex is amazing! He is HONEST and fair and is able to diagnose and correct AC problems quickly. And besides the AC work, he has gone above and beyond in spending time via phone educating us and a potential buyer for our home regarding HVAC units. No $ in it for him with the phone time - but he respects his profession and wants to maintain the integrity of it. Highly recommend him for HVAC needs. He has done appliance repair for us as well - also honest and fair!

I had somewhat of an emergency. Our heater had gone out and of course. It happened during the new year holidays. I called and spoke with Mr Alex Lopez. He was kind, understanding and ON TIME!!!Mr. Lopez came to my house. Kind and courteous man. He was very professional and explained to me what was going on with the unit. Weve used Central Air & Appliance several times over the past few years. Alex is wonderful to work with and always shows up the same day. He goes above and beyond to help you....recently, our A/C blade stopped working and he couldnt get a new one for several days, so he used an old one he had on the truck just to make sure we had A/C. We were miserable, ac went out. Our central heating is so old that after Alex decided the hieroglyphics, he got us comfortable and fixed up. While he did suggest replacement soon, he didnt push it, he cared about our budget and keeping us comfy. He appearance was very professional too.
