I have to say that after all of the problems I had with other companies, it was a welcome change to have someone like Brandon come out. His expertise was so appreciated and had he not come out and checked over everything like the other companies should have when they attempted to fix it, I might have ended up with a house fire. He was sure to fix everything that had been done improperly by the other company and it was apparent he was very knowledgeable in his field. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. I cannot say enough good things about him and how much I appreciate him and Heart Of Texas Mechanical!!

Hearing you have a water leak in your slab foundation, under your kitchen island, put me in full FREAKING out mode. Also, no water in a house with 5 kids, is no bueno period. Landon came and immediately reassured me they would get it taken care of. And by the end of the day he had us back in business!! Second time having Landon out and this will be who we call first from now on.If you want honest and dependable work, these are your people!

Landon was a phenomenal plumber!! He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix our issue quickly! He did not leave until he made sure everything was fixed and working correctly, he even followed up with us the following day to make sure everything was going smoothly! Landon is absolutely the best! He makes sure the job is done correctly, and you can tell he cares about his work and the client. I had him come out at first for a shower faucet that wouldnt turn off, and he also noticed my water heater was leaking. I bought a new one, and within the week he and Mateo, whos also wonderful, installed it properly, and they also fixed the running toilet that was needing it. I would highly recommend Landon to anyone who needs plumbing services- hes honest and doesnt try to up-sale you something you dont need.

We had our bathroom remodeled a couple of months ago and tonight at 8 pm a faulty connection came apart under the house where the contractor had worked. we called the contractor who said no one could look at it until the next morning. We called HoT and Landon came right out and fixed our problem promptly so we could have running water in our house again and at a pretty reasonable price for after hours. He did us a great job and if we run in to anymore problems we know who to call now.

We had an emergency situation arise recently with our residential plumbing and called HOTM for help! Landon was on the scene shortly after the call and diagnosed the issue and communicated with us clearly about his suggested plan of repair. Two work days later and we were up and running well again! (Our Insurance Adjustor said Landon’s report was the best detailed report he had ever come across!)Note:. We’ve made similar calls to HOTM for help for 20 + years between our other two properties (business & other residence). HOT has always responded well to our needs and we’ve always felt confident they will get the job completed correctly and in a timely manner. We’ve been in business for 28 years and we appreciate the quick and completer service! Knowing who you can depend on is important.

A very nice young man named Landon was my service man today. He was extremely professional and cleaned up after his work. I was so impressed with him that I must say that if he hasnt received a raise lately he certainly deserves one !!

Landon came out (2 days earlier than schedule) and was able to fix my issue promptly. He was super professional, called when he was on his way, explained how he was going to fix the pipe and fixed it quickly. I have already called in another order to get more work done at my new place.

Landon was the plumber that was sent out. He called when he left the shop and showed up on time. He was knowledgeable and professional and did a great job. I had inadvertently ordered the wrong part for my sink and Landon followed up with several text messages making sure that the part arrived and that everything was taken care of. Richard fixed our minisplit a/c units and Juan fixed our broken sewer line. Both were wonderful to work with, explaining the problems and giving us solutions. They both worked quickly. Richard was patient explaining regular maintenance to me. Will definitely use this company again!

Richard came out today to take a look at my central air and found the heat was stuck on! He had it diagnosed and repaired (burned out wire) in under 2 hours, all while taking the time to provide me with some much needed education regarding maintenance. Heart of Texas Mechanical has some incredibly skilled and friendly technicians and any time I have called the office it has been a pleasant experience with none of the maybe next week type scheduling I had been used to. Landon has made 2 visits to our property to repair items that were left undone by others. In each instance he was very professional and was great at explaining the issues he found that needed repair. Today he went on an exploratory mission to uncover a low water flow issue. He found the problem, repaired it and forwarded photos and video while we were away to show us his success. Landon is AWESOME!!!!

My family was traveling to a birthday party to Kingsland. My SUV started doing strange things so luckily we passed by this shop and asked the gentlemen if they had time to see what was going on. They readily got my vehicle on the diagnostic machine and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. The owner Matt and Matthew front desk were so helpful and kind to get us back on the road. It is so nice to have people in our world that knew my distress and Llano is fortunate to have them and more to be open on Saturdays. Thank you again to all the staff. I would give them a 20 out of ten stars!

I called Heart of Texas mechanical in dire need of a plumber to repair damages to plumbing due to fire. Some pipes had to be reconstructed; some just needed to be connected. I needed a disposal installed and dishwasher hooked up. They made an appointment in a timely manner, and Landon was the one to do the work. He was amazing! Not only did he bring great knowledge, he was extremely polite, kind, professional, and accommodating. I am exceedingly pleased with all that he did - and I am a picky, perfectionist. He left the areas where he worked cleaner than he found them, and he paid excruciating attention to detail. I will be using Heart of Texas Mechanical for all of my plumbing and mechanical needs.

I had installed a rural water line and I needed assistance hooking up to the meter and terminal faucet. HoT Mechanical worked me into their busy schedule. Landon came out and did a super job fixing my problem and then noticed that the pressure was too high. He installed a regulator for me, saving damage to my camper. Excellent service and thorough. Definitely recommend!

We purchased a property near Brownwood and have had to call the fine folks at Heart of Texas 6 times in a matter of a few months. Pretty sure we have Josh on speed dial now. The drain to our washing machine had backed up. Rusty came down to snake our sewer line first, and found an issue that would have cost us waaaay more money to fix down the road if he hadnt caught it when he did. He also took the time to repair a toilet than had been leaking. He was super nice, very friendly, and very thorough. But in all the excitement with the sewer line issue, we had forgotten to get the washer drain line (the original reason for the call) checked that day. When Juan came out to do the actual repair work on our sewer line, he checked the washer drain line (which was still backing up) as well, and got it unclogged. Hallelujah!!! You guys are the best!!! My first experience with this company was after hours for a leak on bathtub faucet. The hot stem/gasket failed and was spewing water everywhere. I was directed to an after hours tech named Landis who made me aware that him being dispatched to my location would be Emergency rates which were quite pricey. He then proceeded to talk me through the repair over the phone, which I was able to do in the interim until I had the entire faucet replaced. A few weeks I had a separate issue from an upstairs sink line leaking in my attic causing damage to my ceiling. To my delight Landis was assigned to the repair and did an outstanding job. He also referred me to a sheetrock guy for the ceiling repair.

Very impressed with my service. Landon called when he was on the way. He was professional and an expert with his trade. I highly recommend Landon for your plumbing repairs!

Heart of Texas guys just finished doing a great job fixing leaky faucets and installing a new water line and did an AWESOME job. They kept us informed all along the way of what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves - which is always a huge plus to this old gal! We have used them for several years and will certainly continue doing so. Thanks for always coming to our rescue!

I had the worst experience with Heart of Texas Mechanical Contracting than any other local business I have ever dealt with, and did not get my broken pipe fixed. I do not recommend HOTMC to anyone needing any work on their home at all. I did not receive a call before they left their shop, and once they arrived at my home they sat in my driveway for 45 minutes without an attempt to knock on the door, charging me the whole time 100 per hour. When I made contact with the tech, I wont name him, he acted like I was inconveniencing him and began telling me about his personal problems. Once we made it to my bathroom where I had a broken water pipe in the shower I smelled an odor of marijuana. Another 30minutes later all he had done is explain all the different ways he could cut into my wall and wanted me to decide what to do. If I knew the most effective way to fix the problem I would need a repair person. He did not give me confidence that he would be able to fix the issue properly and he seemed unsure about what damage he might leave on the wall. At this point I just suggested to wait, I wanted a different tech. He then began explaining another job he had where the person didnt have money do pay and stated that his boss told him the next time that happens for him to call the cops, as if he was trying to scare me into paying for the hour that he did nothing for. I always pay by the way, if I get work done on my car, I pay in full on the spot no matter what the final bill is. For this situation I wanted to simply be charged for the time and when the project was continued and completed I would pay. The tech asked that I contact his office, where I ultimately spoke to the co-owner, whom also insisted that I pay on the spot and explained that it becomes confusing to him when he has too many charges that are not paid. I went inside, got a hundred dollar bill, handed it over, got a receipt and he went on his way. I will never use Heart of Texas Mechanical Contracting and neither will my family and friends.

This is my first plumbing issue since I moved to Brownwood, and was wary of who to call to fix the issue that arose yesterday, since I had not had experience with any of the plumbing companies in Brown County.Landon, one of H.O.T. Mechanical’s service technicians, just left my house after locating, identifying, and repairing a leak from the hot water line into my garage. Landon was processional, knowledgeable, thorough, and did an excellent job. Heart of Texas Mechanical will definitely be my go-to for any plumbing or A/C issue for as long as I live in Brownwood!

Called on Saturday evening due to air conditioner stopped working. Person who answered phone did not identify business and was very rude. Guessed they could come out sometime later that night. Would charge base 165.00 and thên more according. We are seniors, the temp was 104 outside. And thê inside of the house becoming an oven. The person was awful . Needless to say we did not use this company.Update: Spoke with owner of company and he was very cooperative and concerned with our complaints. Apologetic and very nice.Update: Weldon came out and worked ln our ac unit. He was very professional and very nice. He found the problem very quickly and fixed it and got us back up and cooling. So very thankful.

Brownwood Fire Dept had a water leak under the sidewalk. Landon and Jeremy showed up and worked well after hours to make sure we had water at the station during the night until they could come back tomorrow and finish the job.
