Called to get service/estimate with my AC issue and the lady answering the phone made it seem that since “it’s old”( 10 years old) they can’t do maintenance or order parts.So suggesting to just “replace it” without even coming out to the property.What a great diagnosis over the phone, don’t waste your time calling them.

Dealt with this company 2 years ago for complete hvac unit installation and very happy with the experience, price & service. However, just recently scheduled a PM service with them. Three technicians showed up for the job. Two mostly stood around while the leader focused on selling more service, a call to the office for assistance didnt help as conversation was interrupted by lound background noise (talking, child crying, yelling). Wont be using this company in the future.

This company is very reliable. I was able to get an appointment that very day when we had air conditioning issues. We decided to purchase a new unit rather than repairing the old unit and we were very pleased with the price. They installed it the next day. The installers even skipped their lunch break to finish the job. They said they didnt want us to suffer in the heat any longer than necessary. A few months later we used them again during a maintenance special they offered for $39.99. I just wanted a checkup before the summer season was upon us. Robert was my repairman and he was so helpful and friendly. He showed me a trick to changing the filter. He arrived exactly on time and did a checkup and found that everything was working as expected with no repairs needed. I will definitely continue to use the services offered by this business. They are honest, affordable, and reliable. You cant ask for more than that!

On time did what they were supposed to do honored the price quoted and even followed up on a minor technicality and took care of it would highly recommend! Be careful when getting estimates because some companies will not tell you all pricing and information on freon! This company did what they said the honored their price no bait and switch situation like has happened in the past with other companies! If you need air conditioning work these are the guys to go to..

Excellent, fast, very professional service. Danny, the technician, was able to come sooner than scheduled appointment, which was great. My a/c is in the attic and sometimes this cause a problem, but it was not an issue for him. Really appreciate it, and will call again for next maintenance.

I called TAC when i noticed that my ac was not cooling. The techs came out and told me that i needed have the indoor motor replaced and i asked them to do a coil wash. I was very satisfied with their service. Will be asking them to keep coming back. Will recommend to family and friends

Prices were great but communication within the ladies that answer the phone and their techs aren’t great . They had me for an Appointment at 9:30am and they had to pay another company that ended up showing at 4:00 pm . Over all experience was terrible. Owner I felt maybe was having a bad day and thats why he was rude to me . When I would request to talk to him they would tell me he wasn’t their but once I mention his personal phone number next thing I know he was on the other line . He was highly recommended from a family member but I will no longer recommend him .

My AC stopped working, entered a quote online, got a call within 10 min saying they could send someone! So relieved that Julio was able to find the problem within minutes and fixed it in no time! He even educated us on the work he did! Very satisfied with the service and price! Definitely recommend them! 😊

Staff is not knowledgeable, I called about mobile home ducting and was told was in stock, upon arrival they didnt have it , then told I could pick item up in Harlingen, but was given wrong product, then said said theyd get right product next day , but no call back, following week then told could not get correct ducting. Very poor and unprofessional service will not be going back. And recommend people go elsewhere. What a waste of time and money.

After I called the company from whom I had bought my central unit and a week passed and they never took 2 minutes to attend my request, I visited the TAC place, set up an in person appointment, they kept the appointment, showed up 24 hrs later and did not leave until they fixed the problem. If I need duct cleaning or ac cleaning I will call on these guys. Needless to say, I will recommend them to my friends, neighbors and whoever needs ac services.

Called in the morning to set up my appointment. Requested for the tech to come by my residence after 4pm. The techs, Victor and Juan, showed up at the requested time and were very thorough in explaining what was malfunctioning in my AC unit.I requested a coil cleaning while they were at my residence and they did not hesitate in accommodating me. The whole visit took about 1 hour. Ill give the equipment some time to truly evaluate the service, but as far as their customer service: Top Notch.

Receptionist was rude, changed my schedule without letting me know. I had to call to find out. We have waited 5 days only for them to say they were not able to fix it until October because according to her it was too hot I asked to speak with owner and she called me back saying owner said if i was not ok with that to call another company. The reason i was contacting them is because my AC still has insurance for parts since I purchased it with them. Beware of this company since they do not go through with the insurance.

I contracted this company to do my Ac system and after a year things started breaking down Evaporator coil went out they installed a new one after I called them for a whole week, sometimes you need to keep reminding them again and again .

We had an A/C guy we used for years and he was always giving us long wait times or not showing up at all. Decided to try TAC based on my neighbors recommendations and they came out within an hour of me calling. Fixed the problem quickly, friendly and professional service, and reasonable pricing. TAC will now be our regular A/C service repair from now on!

Rick came out to diagnose the problem on a Sunday morning! Most places don’t even have an answering service on Sundays. Not only that but he called later to check up and then came out again on Sunday afternoon. Already better service than I’ve gotten anywhere and that’s still not all.... my central ac’s compressor was fried so he met me again Sunday evening to loan me a portable ac unit until the new unit got installed. The new ac is now installed and working beautifully. If you need ac service or a new air conditioner go with TAC, they are excellent!

Manager, Lupita, was extremely rude as well as the owner Rick. They claimed I cancelled an installation appointment and wanted to reschedule me for another day and time. When I offered to show them my call logs from tmobile, they threatened to cancel the installation. I decided to go with another company.

Have had several AC contractors over the floor and on the phone, after of course on a sunday morning the AC decides to quit on us. Have to admit another contractor fixed the broken AC a day before. But already looking at it my self and discussing it with my wife we knew the system had to be replaced.First contractor that came over the floor only mentioned a price without any means to support his story. Because I wanted to discus it with my wife I asked for a quote via email so I could show it to her. Well am still waiting for that email.Another contractor over the phone, also mentioned a price similar to the first contractor, also still waiting for that email (have to admit they wanted to send someone over)Monday close before 7pm I called Texas AC. Left a voicemail and with 5 minutes had a call back. Asked for a price over the phone to replace, price was half of the other prices I had heard. Made an appointment for wednesday to see what had to be done. Guys looked professional, had materials to show pricing. Were very clear what we could expect from them. Also made a very nice deal with the payments.All in all, our experience with Texas Air Conditioning was very pleasant. Installation could already take place a day after they came over.Installers were spanish and is not one of the languages that I speak fluent. Still with best effort they tried to make things clear in english, They did more than I expected by even cleaning and spray painting the return register. Also when they left the garage I couldnt tell it was a busy workshop for a day, they cleaned it spotless.Most likely will return to them for additional maintenance.

April 30, 2020 had to get new ac. First two times they had to show up I did receive a heads up they were on the way(multiple visits later and no heads up). The system was original so I had air ducts replaced. I documented all issues and dates they came out but the fact is I’m Very disappointed and can not recommend them. The living room and dining room have fans to cool those areas and we have a new ac unit. Also ac has been making same sounds before compressor went out June 15, so it’s a matter of time this will go out agin. Be sure to go with a company that does calls after hours any day especially the weekend.

Definitely great service, the guys really know what they are doing, Pedro explained very well what was wrong with my AC system and what needed to be fixed, totally satisfied with the job they did and will call them if needed again. I totally recomend.

My compressor fan crapped out on a Friday and no ac businesses i know of are open on weekends. We toughed it out on Saturday, but Sunday morning, i took one more look online to try to find someone open Sunday. I gave TAC a call and Rick answered. The shop was closed but he opened it up to get me the new motor and capacitor, as well as free advice and tips, plus a strip of emery paper. I got my ac running the same day. With that kind of service, Im a customer for life. Thanks Rick!

Very good work and very professional. They give you the best prices and good product. And they comply with what they offer and say. I recommend them 100%.I regret having recommended them ahead of time. When I bought the a/c for my house, I was told that they promised to give it a clean cleaning before the end of the year of installation. (the worker who installed it was JJ) According to him, he no longer works at TAC. I made 5 calls to them and 5 times they told me lies that they were going to clean the a/c. I will never buy anything from these people again and when the owner or the secretary looks at this comment, they dont even bother talking to him. To my wife or me, we dont want to know anything about you. Aaaa... but when you go to pay, they even fight to answer the phone.
