Great service from this company for your AC/Heating needs. Had to get a warranty repair on my unit and they were able to order a replacement part for me at no charge and swap out my part for theirs. All I needed to pay was labor and 410a charge to charge the system.I will do business with them again in the future for my AC unit repairs.

My AC quit on me during the hottest months of a scorching Texas summer. Comfort Boys was not the first AC repair service that I called, but after dealing with the other companies they will be the last. Comfort Boys took care of everything faster, cheaper and has a better warranty than the other companies. The technicians that installed my new AC system were friendly, professional and they worked like the wind. The customer service of this company is great. The installation was done in July of 2023 so it was murder on the team and my dogs but it turned out great. I got two mini splits systems that work as a/c and heat. The heaters work so good that i do not need to turn on all of them to heat upd the house! Julie (customer service rep) assisted with issues with payment and afterwards it was a breeze.

Tech Jose was great, very professional, friendly and showed up in a timely manner. He came to our home and went to straight to servicing our AC, didn’t waste any time. Just WOW! Called on a Saturday morning, it was cold outside, my pilot light would not light. Josh showed up at my house within 2 hours. Although he could not repair it due to the system being older, he offered to look for a used part. We told him we wanted to replace the system but 3 other companies had told us we would have to move the entire unit. Josh educated us and had a system, exactly what we wanted, that fit into the existing space. It was installed on that Monday by two of the absolutely best installation guys! They were so polite and very respectful of my home. Put drop cloths down everywhere they would walk. Outstanding job! Price was below expected. Highly recommend Comfort Boys!

Comfort Boys installed a new AC for our 1950s house this past July 2022. We had several companies come out and give us quotes, and not only were they more expensive, but they were somewhat discouraging due to the age and layout of our older home. Comfort Boys had a positive, can-do attitude. Not only was their quote less expensive for the same type of system, but they even added two more drops than the other companies and the attic insulation was included. They also gave us a couple more discounts on top of that. The workers who did the install were courteous and knowledgeable. I was also able to call the company headquarters when I had questions and get ahold of them fairly easily.I appreciate this local business that works hard to ensure they keep customers happy. Best yet, when we got our monthly electricity bill after the install, our bill went from $400 to $240. The month following that, it went down to about $200. We feel this has been a good investment and positive experience.

I am extremely satisfied with the service personnel of this company. They responded on a weekend (Friday). They returned on a Monday as promised, and gave me a follow-up for Monday. On time on Monday and arranged for a final finish on Wednesday . My $8,200 system with a 12 year waranty has failed after less than 2 years. The labor waranty was one year and they now charge $99 to send am technician, which takes several days to happen. Stear clear of these Boys. What a dissapointment.

Last Friday our a/c unit went out and I called Ernest F. He was able to come out at 8am Saturday and fixed it right away! Unbelievable promptness in the middle of the hot season, on time and very professional. Weve been working with Ernest for years and hes the best. Price was amazingly competitive during this peak season.

Ernie is the best. He is very knowledgeable and after contacting many companies the only person that I trust to repair or replace my HVAC unit. He was able to get my 13 year old unit working when countless companies said I needed a new one. I’ve told him that he can never quit this line of work. I highly recommend this company. My AC went out midsummer and they were very responsive. My technician, Ernest, replaced a part within the hour and it was good as new. Not to mention, after comparing them with three other bids, they had the lowest prices.

He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and spent time with us showing us our issues. As a result of his assessment we decided to purchase a replacement unit and become members of the Comfort Club. We were in a bind with family expected in 2 days, and he was able to work the schedule to get a crew out the next day to install the new unit.Adam, Jaime and Issac arrived on installation day. They spent 7.5 hours installing the unit and thermostat and spraying to kill the mold in our ductwork. They were very polite and extremely careful, and cleaned up after themselves. Had a issue with the thermostat not working, so they made arrangements for Ernie to arrive between 7-9am the next day.Ernie arrived 7:15 am and immediately diagnosed the thermostat issue and fixed it. He spent extra time with us showing us the operation of the thermostat itself and answered all our questions. The entire team we dealt with was exceptional and we will request them for any future issues. You dont find this kind of personal service and we appreciate it.

I had a problem with a blower motor. The tech. said after checking with his office that a PSE motor could not replace the variable motor. So, I was given a chose of replacing motor with the same motor for $1600+ or put a different unit for almost $3000. I contacted another A/C person who brought a PSE motor and charged me $400. I gave him an extra $50 for his honesty. I will never use this company.

I would like to commend Comfort Boys and their Technician Jose in regards to their timely response when my heating unit when out earlier this week. The knowledge and professionalism of the Tech was by far the best experience Ive had with a company in a long time. He didnt try to upsale me on something that I didnt need any also gave me some helpful tips on how to care for my unit especially during the cold winter months. Ernie came out on a service call to investigate why our home didnt seem to be conditioning the air properly. One thing that caught his eye was the small amount of ventilation in our attic and he advised that we look into it with our roofing company who replaced it recently. Upon following up, we learned that the roofing company actually did not put a sufficient amount of ventilation and we would have never known if Ernie didnt go the extra mile. Will continue to use this company for our HVAC needs.

I’m not the type of person who does reviews about business but Comfort Boys exceeded my expectations; let me tell you why: It was Saturday night around 10 pm and suddenly my AC stopped working.. I’m not the person who can sleep without cool and fresh air so I decided called my usual company and they never answered even though I had a service agreement with them. Then I came with Comfort Boys and I immediately called and Mariana answered my call and she sent a nice and professional technician to my home in just an hour! I really loved their service. When I paid them I wasn’t sure if it was possible not give them my card information so I asked Jorge if there was a way to paid by myself and he sent me a link to my cellphone and I processed the payment easily. I no longer use the other company and now I’m part of their maintenance agreement.

Ernie and Jose have been out to my house for a few calls throughout the years. I could not wish for better people to take care of my ac and heating needs. Always professional, always knowledgeable on the subject. Very curtius and helpful. Quick to respond in emergencies and great when communicating. Would recommend over and over again.

Made the mistake earlier this year of hiring Comfort boys to do a new HVAC install. Excuse after excuse about why the parts were not available after they promised the parts were in stock...Young crackpot team did the install. Didnt bring the right equipment and borrowed my ladders, scaffolding and electrical testers (which they broke!)Lots of excuses of why they were late, missing parts. Even had the gall to ask me for parts that they had forgotten??? WTHThe times they did get parts the delivery driver was a smoker. I asked him several times not to smoke inside. He ignored my requests and continued to smoke inside.The last day there was a pile of trash left. The installers said someone else would be back the next day to pickup. No one ever came.The worst is they quoted one brand and installed a different brand. Their excuse was its the same company. So are Toyota and Lexus. If you order and pay for a Lexus, you would be upset to get a Toyota!This is a mismanaged, wanna be, take advantage of their customers company that should have a class action suit against them.Buyer buyer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

CAUTION with Comfort Boys- theyre really nice and Make you feel like you can almost trust them.Comfort boys, Luis, came out to check out AC due to some issues with the compressor not kicking on. They told us the compressor was bad and we needed a new compressor or new outdoor unit. They also told us that the compressor was not under warranty anymore since we live in a newer home. They were trying to sell us on $5,000 to $6,000 worth of equipment and service. Then they told us that we should probably leave our AC off so that if the compressor totally craps out it wouldnt damage other equipment in the attic. I feel like they were just trying to scare us into buying the new system. Then Luis called me later on the day that their boss was able to get the compressor under warranty. Its either under warranty or its not, there is no grey area.We ended up having another company come out for another opinion and they told us that Comfort boys was trying to scam us to just sell us stuff. All they had to do was change the capacitor. We saved thousands. The AC has been working perfectly fine.

The experience was great from the start. Called in to schedule fall maintenance and the office staff was friendly. I received a text notification of when the technician Ernie was on the way. He was on time. The technician check in with me and completed the first service. He check out with me and gave me an update and recommendation of my unit. I received a follow up from the office. Overall, great experience!

I would give them a zero!! Do not use this company for installing a new HVAC unit. They did not connect my drainage up to the old line outside and caused water damage and mold in my home!! I was a member of their maintenance club for the whole year when they did not check for the drainage. They are dishonest!! They dont return calls and they lie about their insurance claims. They dont even return calls from their insurance ompany!!

The owner is very gracious and personable. The office appears to be well organized and efficient. On the day of installation I received an email notifying me the technicians were on their way. With the email was a picture and a brief summary describing the lead technician’s experience and interests with a personal touch. I then received a phone call telling me they were on their way. In the meanwhile another staff member was delivering all the units and parts so they would be ready for the technician. I find this a very efficient use of time for the technician since he does not have to go pick up parts or the unit before he can begin work. The technicians arrived and quickly got to work. They were pleasant, wore their face masks the entire time, and were very neat and cleaned up when finished. The technicians checked the system, showed me how to use the thermostat and answered all of my questions. They were very efficient and had the job completed of installing a new AC/heating unit in 4 hours. I can not say enough good things about the efficiency of the installation. Very good process and well thought out. The owner called later as a follow up of how the installation went and asked if I had any question. We had a great experience with Comfort Boys Home Service. Our technician, Israel, was very informative and respectful of our home. Once he diagnosed and got our system up and running again, he took the time to explain the regular up keep for our system.

Had them install whole home dehumidifier and air purifier. Took several bids. Comfort Boys had the best salesman by far, with the most information of what they would be doing, was very happy with him. From the moment he left our house on it has been a very disappointing experience. The front office is a shambles, does not know what the left hand and right hands are doing, does not return phone calls, I have to initiate all communication. Does not honor their word, waiting on a reimbursement check for a part they broke for the second week being told it will be cut immediately. We will see if I receive this one. Technicians didnt know how to install the thing they brought out, had to come back 5 days later and finish it (hoping the MUST instructions listed in the manual that they did not do wont have damaged the system), no one left any real instructions, and its going on over a week now since I was told the senior service tech would call. I no longer even want his call Ill read and figure things out myself. I would not use Comfort Boys if I had to do this again.

Use a different company if you have AC needs. I bought a brand new unit from them 15 months ago. It has been nothing but problems. EVERY time I call them they come out and blame me for something. They conned me out of $1800 last month on maintenance on a 1 year old unit. Telling me at the time this would solve all my issues and give me free maintenance going forward. Less than 1 month later I come home to my house on 84 degrees and have not gotten a single response from them. Me and my family consisting of 3 young children are now in a hotel tonight due to their complete disregard and disrespect for the poor unit they put in here. Literally the biggest expense Ive ever had that I got this poor of service from.

I do not leave bad reviews because were all human, and human error happens, but I should warn others at this point. I should have looked at their **YELP** reviews before using their service. We got good service when we financed our upstairs replacement and were warned the outside unit might give out since the inside was brand new. When it happened, it was expected. We called them back, and Ernie said it would cost $700 to fix. We did not have that. Everything was exhausted with the new unit and other unexpected expenses. I told him we would manage without air and, come summer, get it fixed. A few days later, I received a call that he had spoken with his boss, and they would replace the part and add it to our finance plan. Well, come to find out a couple of days later, that was not an option, and they were billing us for the $700. Ernie said he did not know it could not be added to the plan. Fine...I called and told them we could not pay $700 upfront, and they informed me they needed to look into it; they called me back, I called them back, then nothing for a month. Then our account was forced charged $700!! I call no one knows why?? At this point, my budget is screwed, and all theyre offering is to refund a small portion and put it all back on payments. I told them that would not help me at this point since our checking account was already in shambles after that unauthorized charge. No one had contacted us for over a month, so this charge is unethical and unacceptable. But I let it be the amount was owed, and we would have no more contact. We asked them to REMOVE the card from their system.I was guaranteed the card was removed, and since Ernie did not inform them that he had assured the $700 would be added to our finance plan, she (Amanda) wanted to look into it. I told her no, I wanted to end it here, and she said she felt she had to see if anything else could be done. I asked her only to text me. She promised she would let me know what she figured out and if anything or nothing could be done; well, surprise, no text. I was okay with that; I moved on. Stuff* happens.Well, today I looked at our account to see if the mortgage payment came out, I have the exact amount in there for it after recovering from their mess, and I see a membership charge for COMFORT BOYS! And, of course, no one works from billing but on certain days and specific times.The signs were there they seemed irritated at times having to come out and left a mess in upstairs loft. The wifi thermostat stopped working and they told us to call the provider to get it replaced? Someone left a wet instruction manual on staircase railing which soaked the ink into our paint. But it all seemed trivial at the time.It says something they only respond to the honeymoon stage reviews on here and not the others. Be mindful of this company because this situation caused so much stress and sadness for my family at a time we could not and still cant afford it...

Being a senior citizen, it is important to find people you can trust. When my AC went out, I received a ridiculous quote to replace my unit. Then my daughter recommended that I call Ward at Comfort Boys. On Saturday I noticed the outside fan on my unit had stopped working. I was checking it because it had been making weird noises the day before. I also noticed that without the fan the compressor was still coming on and off, so I quickly turned the system off so as to not damage the system further. I called several of the “24/7” companies and they all couldn’t come out until Monday. The temp outside was in the high 90’s. After waiting an hour for the last company to call back just to tell me they couldn’t come, I called Comfort Boys. Unbelievably easy at 6pm Saturday the woman kept me on hold for a minute and told me a tech would be there in about an hour. After about 40 minutes and a text telling me he was on his way the Tech Robert Schmidt showed up. After verifying that it was the fan Robert checked his truck and found that he didn’t have the compatible fan. Robert called his company and they had the part but it was an hour away there and back. At this point it was about 8 PM. I was amazed that Robert said he would get the part come back and install it!. To shorten this, I’ll just say that Robert returned and with me holding the flashlight he installed the new fan. First let me say that their tech Robert Schmidt is an outstanding individual. Comfort Boys knows how to hire the best. These folks did me right and I would use them again and only hope I get Robert as the tach. The price was reasonable as well.

I came home in the late afternoon on Sunday from running errands to a house that was 90 degrees inside and my google nest thermostat kept short circuiting. I spent an hour on the phone with google with no progress and then began searching for a technician. I called multiple places and got outrageous emergency pricing or no availability. I’m about an hours drive from San Antonio to the middle of nowhere. Comfort Boys was able to get me connected to a technician, Josh, and out to my house that night. Josh made it to the house around nightfall. Unfortunately, it wasn’t an easy fix and Josh diligently spent hours searching for the multiple issues and correcting them. One of the issues was completely re-wiring the system from the outside unit to the inside unit and then to the thermostat since I had a common wire at the thermostat that wasn’t connected to anything. When that didn’t completely correct the issue he kept searching and found a small box that was faulty. What I was told was normally if there was something wrong with the box, it would be completely fried but instead this had some sort of disconnect that wasn’t flipping. Once he replaced that and a few popped fuses, I was good to go! I was so grateful I didn’t have to sleep in a 90 degree house even with the windows open! I signed up for the maintenance plan since I was so impressed with Josh’s service and determination.

I recently had to get a new a/c which is a huge purchase. I found water under the unit and called on the weekend. The owner showed up on mothers day and needed to have a tech come the next day. I called Comfort Boys to get a quote on a new system to replace my old a / c. Mariana answered the phone and told me that in 5 minutes someone would call me. Not even 2 minutes passed when I received a call from a technician, he gave me my estimate and we scheduled the install. Jorge contacted me to process the financing, he was very kind and attentive, in 3 minutes I had a response from the bank. Jorge and Mariana coordinated the installation of my new system.

I have now taken 2 days off of work in order for comfort boys to come out and finish an install they started a year and a half ago. First appointment day they call and try to move my appointment up to the morning when i state i cant they state they will see me at the original time. Take my half day of work off to meet them they call 20 mins before to cancel and reschedule. Rescheduled for the next day take another day of work off, they call 30 mins before to tell me schedule changed overnight and cancel my appointment again. It wouldnt be a big deal if they just called within a reasonable amount of time to let me know like first thing in the morning when they realize the schedule changed but 20 and 30 mins before my appointment is not okay. Not everyone can just be home all the time to meet their scheduling needs.

Very disappointing vent/duct cleaning experience. Companies policy for cleaning ducts, vents and coils consists of: spraying a can of coil cleaner on the coils and fogging the duct system with a spray through process claiming to kill bacteria, all taking less than one hour. NO removal or cleaning of vent registers or removal of dust/mold or debris. I was told that his is not a part of Comfort Boys vent cleaning service and is not necessary!! This work was done on a very small older home. After job was completed according the polite young technicians, I removed the vent registers and they were full of dirt, dust and mold. I spent hours scrubbing and cleaning these registers myself. I also had to vacuum around all vent opening as these areas were also very full of dust. When I asked the techs to vacuum around the A/C base area they told me that they did not have a vacuum cleaner. I have never heard of cleaning a house by spraying bleach around and leaving the dust and dirt there!Update: Country Boys reached out to me and made every effort to correct any and all of the concerns that I had. Actually, there was a misunderstanding on my side as well as the technician. I have a lot of respect for a company that puts out the extra effort to make their customers happy, I would use them again and recommend the company. My AC wasnt cooling the house. Called Comfort Boys and they sent a technician out in 45 minutes. They figured out the problem and returned the next day to fix it at the time they said they would be here. Excellent service!!

We are very pleased with the service from Comfort Boys not only did it resolve the issues we had with high electric bills but just made a San Antonio summer bearable for everyone including the dog. Fair price, efficient team, would highly recommend!!

Good company!I was sick and tired of taking it in the rear with the other companies and their prices. I decided to give them a call and to my surprise I didnt get it so hard in the rear. Goodole boy, young man and strong as a tiger came to take a look at my unit and had it fixed better than what I had it. Goodole boy named Israel. Very happy with that company and that worker. They dont make them like they use to.

Conversion to refrigerated air was a big deal to me. From start to finish, EVERYONE was very professional and customer friendly. Leo and Juan were great: knowledgeable, worked hard, answered questions and cleaned up as they went along. Installation was fast and then afterwards, David, came out for final inspection and answer any other questions. Jackie, was most helpful with scheduling and paperwork. Comfort boys was the best choice for me and I recommend them 110%.

I called for AC service Monday AM, Luis Soto arrived at noon, AC was fried, a new AC ordered, install crew arrived at 6:00 pm, completed install at 10:00 pm. The gentlemen that installed were professional and so helpful to me. You need help, call Comfort Boys!!!

We had a unit develop a leak. The thermostat quit working. Ernie was able to find the problem as expected. He also took the time to check our overflow switch. That saved trouble later this spring. Ernie and Comfort Boys have always been there when we need them.

I’m Comfort Boys customer because of their service when they installed my new unit Jorge helped me with all my CPS paperwork! Also they registered my new system Mariana sent me my 12 year warranty; I really liked how organized they are at the office.

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Comfort Boys. Jorge helped me to set an appointment the very same day I called to request service.

On June 6 we had a new A/C unit installed by Comfort Boys after obtaining 3 different estimates. What a mistake we made. In just 4 months, we have had 3 separate issues requiring maintenance to the brand new unit. But the latest, on October 23 was that the new system needed cleaned because it was dirty. In the 12 years with our other unit, we needed it cleaned out one time. After taking half the payment of over $900 to resolve this issue, I had another company come out and to the work for a fraction of the cost. Here we sit since October 23 waiting for payment reimbursement for work not done by Comfort Boys. After numerous calls over the last couple weeks, the only response has been, we are working on it or havent gotten to it yet. This company has been a complete disaster and we regret choosing them for our new AC unit.

Ernie came out and did a fantastic job. Ernie used state-of-the-art tools that I havent seen before. Spent some time explaining what was going on . He showed me the digital calculations from where I was at and now, after he tuned up my heat pumps . They have a great group of people but Ernie is my favorite so far

We have been using Comfort Boys since 2011 when they installed our current heating & cooling system. All the work David has done for us has been first rate. Their technicians are courteous, professional, and experts in their field. He even took the time to show us how to use current system more efficiently.

Had a mini split installed in June. The technician not only installed the unit backwards, but didnt tighten down the freon lines. A week later, when the unit quit cooling they sent another technician out whom couldnt even diagnose the problem correctly. I had to call the manufacturer myself. Incompetence reigns supreme. In addition, they also tried to charge me $1,200 for the installation when the agreed upon price was $800. Now that I have a replacement line, they refuse to come out and fix their mistake

Contacted the service on Sunday, 3 Jul 2022 concerning their same day Urgent services availability. The lady on the phone was very kind, yet when I explained I needed to have some one check my A/C, which was not blowing cold air; she was only able to advise she didnt have anyone available until Tues, 5 Jul. I explained my wife has cancer and was becoming nauseated from the heat and my daughter had MS which the heat advances. She was apologetic, but could not offer any solution other than Tues, % Jul 2022. This is poor business service when you advertise same day URGENT service and cant commit to it.I totally understand about holiday, weekend and time off, BUT someone should be available to assist if the service is deemed necessary or URGENT.

I called Comfort Boys on a Friday, 3am. I thought nobody was going to answer but Jorge picked up and he sent a technician at 7am on Saturday, they fixed my problem in no time.

I contacted this AC and Heat company after feeling I was getting the run around from another ac company only to find that Comfort Boys AC and Heat was trying to do the same. After speaking with the owner who offered to come out at no charge and give me what I thought was an honest opinion I quickly realized that it was of their opinion that I should not use my home warranty but go ahead and pay out of pocket for an entire new furnace!!!! After I quickly shot that down the anything we can do to help attitude changed to I dont know what to tell you. Back to square one of dealing with the warranty company and them having to send out yet another company to give a diagnosis of the problem! By the look of their reviews it seems I should have done my research before believing they would be fair.
