Perry Homes - Esperanza 50

I wish I could give zero stars. We so regret signing and closing on our Perry Home almost 1 yr ago. Issue after issue after issue! The work that was done is some of the poorest looking work I have ever seen in a home. Joseph did not properly oversee the build of our home to ensure quality work. Countless times we pointed out stuff that was improperly done or not done at all. Gas leak the day before closing that we the homeowner caught, leaking roof twice since we moved in, sloppy work through the entire home, no scuttle access to the attic space over the master suite area, and the list goes on and on. Just last month they finally put access to the space above our master suite, after I insisted and they looked at the plans and realized there should have been access there all along. We knew something was wrong with the temperature in our bedroom and sure enough, once they got up there, zero insulation!!! Vent hood in the kitchen looks terrible, cabinets were painted two different colors, missed painting on some sections of the vent hood and screws literally showing where they screwed cabinets into the wall, picture below. The paint and stairs look terrible, picture below, and the master tile work around the tub is embarrassing, pictures below. The lack of care or ownership from Perry Homes is so disappointing. Just had Jesus from Perry Homes, “trying to fix everything” tell me “well it’s your home and you can do what you want but we are not redesigning your tub”. I didn’t ask for a redesign, just fix what I paid to have done at the design center and if you can’t do that, then you need to come up with a plan B. Like I said, what I have stated in this complaint isn’t even half of what is wrong with this house and no one at Perry Homes seems to care! We have worked so hard for many years to get into our forever home, live comfortably and enjoy the fruits of our labor and we get stuck with a builder that doesn’t see value in customer service or producing quality work.

Despite the price, homes are squeezed together with little yard. Throughout the build-out of the neighborhood, crews have struck MANY gas lines. Located on the edge of the City, EMS and fire response times will be long.At some point, eventually, the developer will fund a Fire Station to serve east Boerne. HOPEFULLY, it will be placed close to Hwy 46… and not the back of the neighborhood.

Had a great time at Esperanza getting a home built now waiting to sell this one happy with the design center and a professionalism, though I am in a Perry in another Area that has seen many problems so now I feel like I know what to look for.

We had the pleasure of working with Rodger. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and PATIENT. We had our children with us who did not make the process easy, but he constantly reassured us that he was not bothered by them. He never once made us feel like a burden, or our children. He treated us with kindness and professionalism. We were so pleased with our experience with Rodger, and cannot recommend using him enough! Thank you Rodger for your outstanding customer service. You exceeded all of our expectations.

My clients have enjoyed their building process with Perry Homes inside of the Esperanza neighborhood. Their enthusiasm for level of service and value received from the Perry staff has led to many additional referrals and purchases by their friends and family to build and purchase their new homes in Esperanza by Perry Homes. I will continue to take my clients to Perry Homes communities so that they can receive great service, value and a home they will be proud of.

We are considering building vs previously loved, and in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either option when it comes to a Perry Home. We toured this neighborhood and the showroom home and we were very impressed with the upgrades and all the aesthetic details that the builder puts into their homes. Still weighing our options but like what the Esperanza community has to offer.

I have been looking for homes in the San Antonio area for quite some time with no luck due to how particular I am when attempting to buy the perfect home to raise my kids in. I stumbled upon this neighborhood and decided to check it out. Roger Lopez blew me away with the presentation of the homes within the community. He was polite, respectful, and quick to respond with all the questions I was asking. I was very pleased with the community and Roger has responded quickly via phone calls and text messages to the additional questions I have had after leaving. I am blown away by the professionalism Roger has as well as the homes that are within this area. If you are like me, I definitely recommend checking out this new community as it will blow you away!
