KB Home Shoreline Park - Sterling Collection

Ill advised and poorly built subdivision on the south shore of Boerne City Pond. It used to be a lake, but a 3-year drought has caused it to dry up to about 30% of what it once was. The homes are squeezed together and the entire subdivision is not Boerne-like at all. Buyer beware.

We have purchased two homes from KB and have been impressed with their warranty program. I would recommend purchasing from KB. You can be confident that they will go above and beyond to make sure that your home is repaired and completed to your satisfaction.Update:This neighborhood is not great and KB is not being honest about it. Water bills are outrageous and the restrictions make it impossible to keep a lawn or have even a tiny garden.There is no pool and there is no real plan for one anytime soon. The new neighborhood manager leaves a lot to be desired and they are happy to cut you loose after you have been living here for 365 days.Multiple repairs and replacements needed for most of the work in the house. Very disappointing after our last experience with KB. They are definitely not interested in the customer anymore. I’m modifying my rating to two stars

Very pleased with the sales rep Wes. Very nice, responsive, and helpful. Gave great answers to every question. Will to come out and show the lots. Knew his stuff.

So far our experience with kb is good. We think this neighborhood will be ideal for our needs. We are aware of the back peddling and opposition of this community going in on the shores of lake Boerne, but progress is progress. Were confident after reading history of this community coming in that it meets all state regulations and has been approved based on rigorous environmental studies. Cant wait to move in!

This super-dense track house subdivision is being built on the most environmentally sensitive 99 acres in the entire Hill County.It is uphill from our water supply, and any intense rain event will likely pollute the Lake...and the liability will fall on the HOA.Be sure and check out the shockingly expensive water and sewer fees...Please do not buy here...you will not be welcome to our community. 29,000 neigbors signed the petition against this insult to Boerne.Just because they have the legal right does not make it right.

I think it is a travesty to the new homeowners in Shoreline Park to not know the entirety of their environmental responsibilities and their projected long-term expenses for water & sewer.

Another 5-home-per-acre stick & stucco subdivision built in a high-risk watershed (flood zone). Buyer beware. This builder is known for low quality construction. Do your homework before buying in the Boerne area. There are lots of hand grenades and land mines. Foundation and slab cracking are also big risks in Boerne because the homes are built on mud fill piles that shift during alternating periods of drought and flooding.

Shoreline is building homes so close together that means the yards will be so small. Also there are no three car garages so people will be parking along the street which is already narrow.

$400,000 houses on postage stamp lots. I dont understand people who buy a home kind of out in the country and then huddle up like in an apartment.
