We use Steve, aka The Crazy A/C Guy on our new construction homes and personal properties. He and his team do great work for a fair price.I just wanted to give a big Texas Well Done to Blake, who came out and evaluated a remodel we are working on. They gave us a great price and itemized all the pricing. Highly recommend...

We have been using Crazy AC guy since 2021 and they always do a great job at a fair price. They are very responsive. Our tech, Brayden, is a great guy. He takes the time to explain everything and is never pushy with his recommendations. He is knowledgeable. My wife and I always recommend Crazy AC guy whenever a friend or neighbor is looking for a reputable company

Crazy AC Guy installed my unit a few years back. Always courteous, clean and never leave a mess. They will actually answer your questions with truthful answers! Very thorough service checkups. I recommend them with 10 stars!! Now again in 2024, Out with the old and in with the new unit. From service tech, Raymond, to installers, Bralyn, Seth and Bobby the installation went smoothly and quickly with such kindness and courtesy. They may be “crazy” but they are the best!

Brayden, our technician was absolutely fantastic! He came to the rental property here in Gunter and serviced all three units on our main living quarters! He was here very late in the day and stayed until after 9 o’clock and found a solution. He was thorough and a super nice guy. Thank you crazy AC and Brayden our technician!

Raymond, Seth, and his assistant all showed up on the appointed day and hour. The installation was seamless and professional.This was an upstairs unit. We had been using a portable unit, from where we had to empty water daily, for about a year and are thrilled to have everything working again.

Our heating unit was making some concerning noises and Blake showed up at our home and showed us the wear and breakdown of our unit. He suggested we replace it and he was very knowledgeable and friendly and got us a great deal bundled in with some duct cleaning and a years Maintenace also. Bralen, Bobby and Tanner showed up and were professional and thorough. Much appreciated and I highly recommend you give these folks a call for your HVAC needs.

Blake Killgo came to my home today (12/17/24) & fixed my problem within 10 minutes. I was not able to adjust my thermostat from my cell phone. Blake had everything resolved in just a few minutes. I have been without use of my AC unit because of an air handler. I was taken back by the 10 star service I received and yes 10 star is awesome. Ive been without central air for two summers now.... Jason came to my house, gave me a quote, and exactly one week later..... Im sitting here freezing my butt off! Extremely professional techs (sorry, I forgot their names) installed my unit, then cleaned up behind themselves. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Juan was dispatched to my house on 10/10/24 to replace some bathroom wiring that had been installed incorrectly by another company. Juan diagnosed the problem, and in about an hour he had corrected the wiring and completed the work. Juan had to trace out all the wiring, then completely redo the job that the previous workman (who was posing as an electrician but was obvioulsly not). The bathroom electrical is working great and I want to complement Juan and Crazy AC Electrical for a job done well above and priced way below what I expected.

I highly recommend Crazy AC to anyone out there! Cortney, Heath and our tech Raymond were so professional and courteous and showed up on time. We installed the blue light antibacterial system and I noticed the change in the house immediately, especially having three dogs in the house. It really works! We are on the Family Plan, and are really appreciative of them. Raymond took the time to really explain everything and walked us through all the way, showing us all he was doing. Crazy AC believes in over communication, which I find extremely helpful when trying to stay up to date on a given situation. Crazy AC does what they say theyre going to do. They arrive on schedule. Complete the work in a reasonable amount of time. The techs, parts group, and office staff are very efficient at their jobs. Much appreciated!

A stranger, out of the kindness of their heart, contacted Crazy AC Guy to help us get our home in liveable temperatures for our toddler in this TX heat. They came out within 24 hours, but realized the problem was not an easy fix. Our property managers have done nothing to fix the issue, so Crazy AC Guys office manager contacted our property owner to fix the issue. We are so thankful for this 💚

Crazy AC guy does a fantastic job. Communication is great, techs are savvy and price was more than fair. Not to mention I thought it was something worse than they diagnosed, so the honesty is huge with me.

Blake came out this evening and quickly fixed our AC problem. He figured out the problem just from the description and confirmed it while taking a look at the unit. We’ve used them for over 10 years. We don’t use anyone else.

Last week my Generac ran for 9 hrs but didnt shut off when power was restored. By sheer luck I chose these guys to come repair it. They sent Steven G and within 20 minutes he found the problem. They ordered the part and Steven came out today. In 20 minutes he had it running and tested. Really good guy and knew what he was doing. The office also did there job keeping the status up to date. They will defintely get my business in the future! A+++

Every time I have an issue the manager is always helpful and secures a technician to come out. Brayden came out this evening and got my drain unclogged quickly and AC working again. They are my go to AC company!

I cant say enough good things about this company. We have used them for our own personal AC stuff and again for my mom and dads unit. Everytime we talk to them, they are professional, so sincere and I love that they dont yank us around. AC sales are a big thing and its usually an unprepared purchase when you have to make it. Our unit is super old and I keep wondering when well have to buy another one, but for now, we just keep repairing. These guys are honest and tell us if we can do it ourselves or if its something we need to get a new unit for. I love that while AC sales is a good business, they arent in this to deplete my wallet. They are there simply to make sure things work and they stand behind their work. I really appreciate all of them. I strongly encourage you to use these folks for your AC needs. They are honest, dependable, trustworthy, and still do business the old fashioned way. Its a good change to see folks like this still in business. Were a customer for life (and our parents)!

Juan was the Generac installer for our new system. He not only excelled at the installation process and was very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. He was very polite and respectful. He did a great job and has called us back to check on the auto self start and make sure we didn’t have any more questions. He is a “Great Crazy AC Guy”.

Deven called about 20 minutes before arriving at 11:30. We had a range of 10:00-2:00 for our inspection, so it was right in that time slot. He checked out the attic unit as well as the two outside units and reported that everything was in good condition. Great job, Deven!

I called for service because my brand new generator wasn’t working correctly and Steve came that very day. He immediately found the problem and corrected it in minutes. The company was very polite, prompt and professional. Steve also went the extra mile to clear out grass that was starting to grow inside my AC unit outside. They are certified Generac dealers. Will definitely use them again and will refer them to anyone needing AC service

Crazy A/C had the best bid of the 3 estimates I received for a Generac home generator. Our installer was Juan. He’s the most polite & professional service person I think I’ve ever dealt with. I know I’ll be using Crazy A/C for all my future A/C & generator needs.

Had service tech come out to check out why my unit was not cooling. My step daughter and her husband were living in our house since my wife and I had been relocated to Southern Texas. The service tech called me 10 minutes after arriving to let me know that the disconnect was melted and he couldn’t shut the power to the outside unit an I needed to completely replace my unit and disconnect since my 10 year warranty had expired in March. He quoted me $9000 for all that needed to be replaced. I told him I’d get back with him in a few hours and called another a/c company for a second opinion. They came out and found I need a new capacitor for the total cost of $135 for parts and labor. I asked if the disconnect needed replacing and was told it was not melted and was just fine. I called the first tech back to let him know I wanted the owner to call me back and have yet to receive a call from him and it’s now November and that was in July. The unit has not had any issues since July. Be very care with what companies you hire and always get a second opinion on big ticket repairs.

Great company! Was able to get same day service when I called, the tech arrived on time and I even got a call when he was on his way. That really makes all the difference with dogs in the house who need to get put up. Our tech, Tim was extremely professional and was able to diagnose our issue quickly. He let me know the part would have to be ordered and set the expectation it could be a few days. To my surprise, I got a call later that evening letting me know they were picking up the part and he would be back in the morning to install. He arrived on time the next morning, again with an on the way notice, and quickly got our replacement part installed and everything working like new! He even changed our filter and gave me some tips to prevent the blower fan from going bad in the future.Home service repair is one of the most dreaded things about owning a home, but the Crazy AC guy made it so much easier and stress free than I could have hoped for. Will be using for any of our AC/Heat needs in the future!

Weve used this company for all of our own home needs and yesterday, we had a competing company come out to my parents house and spend 5 minutes at the house and basically give them a bill and said well be back Friday for an estimate on a new unit.I called up Crazy AC Guy since weve used them before and not only were they out the same day, but they had an estimate out and setup service to install a new unit the very next day.Normally, I get super worried about techs in the home with my elderly mom, but these guys were just incredibly respectful and as with all the other techs Ive seen from this company, I can trust them to be at home with my mom.It pays to do business with local companies and not chain corporations. If you need AC repair, call these guys first. They arent going to yank your chain around on a bunch of things you dont need and theyll be honest and up front. They offer financing on new units as well (and on major repairs) and it only takes a few minutes to get an approval.I cant recommend these guys enough. Impeccable service and quality local folks. This is why we shop small local businesses. You cant beat the service you get from this place. Great staff to answer the phone, great techs....fantastic company!

Had a problem with our AC on a Sunday night, put in an inquiry and within and hour we were called and on the schedule for Monday morning. EJ showed up an hour early and we were so pleased with him. He was very honest, polite, and friendly. We signed up for their family plan and we are so extremely happy with this company. Want to also add we called 3 corporate companies and this family owned company and this was the only one to call us back and take care of us. We are so extremely pleased to do business with them and highly recommend them!

This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with a service company. Called Sunday morning and they were out and problem solved by that afternoon. The tech went way above and beyond to help my father have is A/C back going to beat this Texas heat. Every person involved from the phone call on through were amazing professional polite people. I simply cannot say enough positive things about how much care and effort the tech put in, everything was explained in detail, recommendations were made but not the pushy up-sales that you seem to get with every service call these days. Signed up to be a member with the company for future services. I guess theyre Crazy because they still believe in quality customer care and attention to detail.

I would recommend staying away from this company. I called them for service and they promptly came out and provided a quote to address some duct issues.They took my initial $99 trip charge and told me they would call me in a few days to schedule the work. Several days went by and they didnt call, so I began calling. Each time I was told they would look into and even once was told I was talking to the CEO who said he would look into it.After a month of calling them and getting nowhere, I am filing a compliant against them with the BBB.

Crazy AC answered our emergent call on a Friday when we discovered water running out of our AC!! Our tech “Ryan” quickly discovered a frozen unit & located the inside freon leak. As temperatures were dropping, he was able to stabilize our system so we would have heat until a new AC coil unit could be installed..He did the installation & set up of the new unit the very next week.. Throughout the whole process, we were so impressed with Ryan’s knowledge & abilities.. We are an elderly couple & he was so reassuring during a stressful situation! Kuddos to “RYAN” & a grateful “thank you” to Steve Long’s Crazy AC staff!!

Cole took everything apart looking for a possible freon leak in my system. He didnt find one, made sure I had plenty of freon. Appreciated the time he took to do this. His helper Scotty was very helpful also. Will use them again.

I found Crazy A/C guy on Angie’s List and am so thankful! Our heater went out around 5 PM on one of the coldest days of winter. Steve and Rachel were so helpful and were able to get a technician out within two hours of my inquiry. Everyone was so great. Our technician, Billy, was so helpful and kind! I’ll definitely be reaching out in the future with any heat or A/C needs!

I had an appointment today with Crazy AC Guy to provide me with HVAC system quote. Ryan arrived on time. He answered all my questions and concerns. Ryan spent quality time explaining each system and was knowledgeable and courteous.Thank you.

Update: After everything was installed and 6 months of AC for the summer, winter came, and my bill shot up. I asked them to check out my system. The Tech came out and told me its because its all Electric with no HeatPump, so its just Electric heating strips, which is very inefficient. I asked where my HeatPump went, and Crazy AC, which was told to replace my old Lennox system with a newer version of what I had, switched me to a cheaper newer model without a HeatPump. So Im stuck with an expensive winter bill, and they wont do anything to help. I would not recommend them in the future. Very disappointing.The original review, before I found out the bait and switch: Crazy AC guy went above and beyond to get my business. They installed 2 new systems because one of my old ones went out. They are competitive, friendly, and amazing customer service! The owner came out just to check on everything. Great team, highly recommend them.

Steve was able to connect the ac compressor to the GENERAC. A welcomed improvement coming into the summer months in Texas.

They came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and had my home office up and running in no time. They even performed a free inspection which was very nice and wrote some estimates for some upgrades I asked about. The price was less than I expected. These guys are top-notch! Recommend

Matthew the technician did a great job was very courteous got my heat up and running on this Texas cold day. I will be calling Crazy AC Guy when we needed AC or heat work done again. This company is great I have used them before and all their technicians do an excellent job.

Called them late on Sat afternoon. Devin showed up within an hour. He quickly found and resolved the issue.

In November of 2021, I called Generac regarding getting a generator installed. They recommended a company that never called back. The second company they recommended said they were out of generators, but they recommended the Crazy AC Guy. In the beginning of December 2021, the Crazy AC Guy said that they could install the generator by the end of December. The machine was not finally installed until late February of 2022 after several delays. During this time, it became clear that they had limited experience in installing these machines. Throughout this period, I asked repeatedly if they would honor Generac’s 7-year extended warranty and they said they would. I later discovered that I only had a 5-year warranty. When I asked Generac about this, they said that this was because the Crazy AC Guy was not a certified generator service dealer, which I later discovered was a big problem. Generac would not budge even though I explained that a certified dealer referred me to the Crazy AC Guy. On September 9th, 2022, I emailed the Crazy AC Guy to discuss this, but they ignored my inquiry. A sympathetic representative from Generac called the Crazy AC Guy to review the issue, and The Crazy AC Guy told Generac that they were only contractually obligated to support the 5-year warranty. This was completely contradictory to what I was told verbally, but, sadly, I did not have anything in writing to support my allegation. I was forced to spend another $800.00 to purchase a 7-year extended warranty. The Crazy AC Guy was disingenuous in stating that they would honor the 7-year extended warranty and caused me significant additional expense. Given the installation delays, unethical business conduct, and the additional cost overhead I was forced to incur, I cannot recommend them for generator installations.

This company is very fast and responsive from the first call they are also very courteous beginning from the dispatcher to the technicians. I want to personally thank my technician James Snyder, he was very thorough in explaining everything that needed to be fixed and also very mindful that I was working from home, from the minute he stepped into my home being on time he was very courteous and listened attentively to the problems I was having. Great AC company if you want to buy a new unit. If your unit is over 10 years they will try to sell you a new one. Called a different company who fixed it for a fraction of the cost they estimated me. Remember when you call this company you are paying for their fancy painted vans and fancy printed pricing guides.

Much better and complete larger furnace, blower and condenser installed and it works so much better. It would of had issues if Crazy AC Guy didnt pay attention to details in my old home. He checked the panel to make sure the extra load would not be an issue. He added more return vents to prevent return air issues and improve the performance. AND even checked in the tiny crawl space to adjust a duct leg that was causing poor flow! Great company that makes sure everything is right and you are happy!!

Their technician Corey is an amazing fellow he arrived less than 2 hours after the initial call and had the problem fixed with in an hour. And staying until he was sure our ac was functioning properly. I would give 6 stars if i could.

Im not mechanically inclined or very tech savvy and last night I hit the wrong button on my thermostat. Needless to say I did a fine job of totally messing everything up. I called Crazy AC Guy and within a very short time a very knowledgable tech E.J. Miller was calling me and walking me through how to reset the thermostat. The dispatcher had told me if he couldnt solve the problem over the phone she would send him directly to my home. What a comfort! I just wanted to put a little positive energy out there in the universe to let people know there are businesses that truly care about their customers and go the extra mile to take care of them.

I was very stressed and worried when my a/c went out unexpectedly. I had called one other contractor who never returned my call. When I was given a recommendation by a friend for Crazy A/C Guy, they returned my call almost immediately. They offered me alternatives and explained everything completely. I was so relieved to be dealing with kind, professional and experienced people. This is my HVAC company for life!

I called around to try and find someone that could get to my a/c quickly. I spoke with Candy and she assured me that they could get there the next day and get my a/c going again. Tim showed up the next day and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. From start to finish everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using Crazy A/C Guy in the future!

Expensive! We called Crazy AC Guy because it was going to take 3 weeks to get someone out from our regular AC service. Everything was great! They replaced 2 old units and reworked all the ducts for the whole house. Couldn’t be happier!!

Most dishonest people I had to deal with. These people are ready to sell their soul for penny. Do not let these people near your house. They keep changing their company name. Now I can understand why. I am taking my time to write this hoping other people will save their money and mostly their time. Shortly about what happened. They installed the AC and sold us bigger AC then needed. Then they hide the fact that with bigger AC we need bigger box in attic. Our bedroom was not getting AC at all. We got them back again and this time they have different name but still same owner :-). Now we had to pay more to replace the box and they sold us new filter system. We got extra filters and my husband went up in the attic with the guy to see how to change filters. We just remodel our house and it was dusty. He went to change the filter and it was not coming out. We called the company and they want to charge us more.

Needed a NEW AC unit, Cazy AC was out same day with upgraded unit to a heat pump. What a difference, very quite, and my electric and gas bill have come down. Also upgraded filter system to include a UV light for killing viruses and bacteria that might be airborne. Supper friendly phone support from Rachael who went out of her way to make sure all the work was done on time.

Very professional job. Showed up and straightened out my ductwork and did some maintenance on my AC unit. Federico was amazing. Very solid company.
