Gartman AC, Heating & Plumbing

Needed help repairing a malfunctioning outdoor faucet and have used Gartman before with terrific results. Not only were they able to send a technician, Billy, out the same day, but he arrived within 30 minutes ! (And I live way out of town, in the country) Billy was extremely professional, direct and to the point, no lallygagging around. Perfect service, and even looked into some other issues I had with my sink drain. Very knowledgeable, thorough and informative. Highly recommend Gartman for all of your plumbing and HVAC needs.

These guys failed to diagnose the issue with my home AC unit not cooling my home during their first two visits. They came three times for the same issue in few days period. Told me that they found the problem and fixed it and filled expensive coolant during first two visits. Third time they said the system needed to be replaced and not repairable. They could have diagnosed and told me that during the first visit itself, that way I could have saved more than a thousand $ that I wasted for their labor ($175/hr) and expensive coolant refills during the first two visits. Not Good!!

Mr. Gartman responded quickly to text that my A/C was out in Texas August. He showed up the next morning. He took the extra time and care to thoroughly clean my unit and educate me how to care for it. He set me up for a preventative maintenance schedule and alerted me to several items that could be completed to extend the life of my unit. I was very impressed and recommend this business highly!

Very happy customer! I had a backed up bathtub and Billy came out within an hour and got it fixed. Billy was amazing and worked hard at a fast pace. He very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommended and will be a life long customer.

Leak under concrete slab - Gartman A/C, Heating & Plumbing rerouted our hot water line. They were fast (called on Friday and started Monday), friendly and answered my many questions. We appreciate their efforts to minimize our costs and make what seemed to be an impossible problem very manageable with less stress. Highly recommend Dean and the excellent staff that came out! Will definitely use for any future work.

The owner of the company, Mr. Gartman, came out and fixed an associated problem I had with an electric circuit box that was causing problems for the A/C installation and at no cost to me I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a professional, timely job done with excellent after job follow up and service. They were leaking into each. When the divertor control handle was down water still came out of the shower head and when it was up the shower head worked but water still came out of the lower faucet. They installed new hardware fixed the problem straightway.That past weekend we had a heavy rain [for us]. I developed a roof leak that appeared to be coming from the area the roof A/C was located. I called my home mortgage insurance and they said my policy would cover it however an appraiser would need to come out to assess whether wind damage was involved. If so, it would change my copay from about a grand to over 1600.TUEDean Gartman, the owner of Gartman A/C, Heating & Plumbing came out to evaluate work done, check my water heater and redo a cover on a 2 ton split A/C in the back. This was all work for free. Thank you.While he was here I showed him the roof leak [captured on video]. He went up top, was there for a bit. When he came down, he said he found what was mostly the problem and fixed it. “We’ll have to wait for a heavy rain to know for sure but call me and I’ll come back out if need be.” And this was zero cost to me.I know this was rather long, but it should tell you a lot about the Company and the man behind the Company.Thank you, Mr. Dean Gartman. We are completely amazed at the Professional manner in which all of our Service was provided.Mr. Dean Gartman completed a thorough assessment, and then provided a down to earth explanation of our needs and the estimated cost. By far the best service in West Texas!Very cordial, professional and prompt service! I have an older house and a few things have needed repairs due to age…. We had a clogged kitchen sink drain, we checked a few company reviews, we called them, schedule an appointment for the next day at 1 pm. They called me in the morning to get it done sooner, which was very nice. Overall will use their services again. The techs were very professional, got the drain fixed in a timely manner and the visit charge was very affordable.

Super thankful for Gartman. Our heater went out, temp was 19° and we called them on a Sunday morning and they had us fixed within 2 hours.

My AC stopped working in the middle of summer, and they came out same day and had what they needed to fix it in the truck. The place I had been using wouldnt even come out for 2 days and have not had parts on hand in the past. Obviously--this will be my new HVAC service company!

We have had an issue with our heater off and on for the past 2 years. We used another company who replaced another part that made the heater work for a while but it kept acting up. Today, I decided to call Gartman. They came soon after I called, knew the issue right away and spent about 20 min fixing the part that was actually the issue & we have heat again! Great job 👏

Gentleman came and serviced our 4 year old unit. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He cleaned out the drip pan of flaky debris and said it was good to go. I will definitely use Gartman for all my future HVAC needs.

We called out Gartman heating and Air to service Mcalisters Deli here in town. I spoke to Roy Linn. I told her at the beginning of the whole deal is we pay cash and it won’t be until a few days after everything is fixed. Well Gartman was one of three companies we called locally to fix our air and the cheapest. We went with them. Technician came out in July. Stated he fixed the ac but dropped a wrench on the coils and damaged the unit. No big deal they said they were gonna put an insurance claim and get it fixed asap. Well not 24 hours later I was hounded by Roy Linn for payment. Keep in mind we are a corporate business. It takes anywhere from 30-45 days to get a check cut from corporate which is why I told her I would pay her cash to let me wait a few days and do paid outs. She called me worse than Wells Fargo looking for a car payment. Every morning she would call. Keep in mind our aC unit was not fixed. I paid Gartman their 1900 to fix then unit even though they damaged it so I would quit getting bill collector style calls thinking they would fix it in a timely matter. Well no… it was just fixed 9/12. I called everyday everyweek and until legal action was threatened it was not fixed. Buyer beware.

I have elderly Mom out of AC and they got out almost immediately. Excellent customer service. Representative called when technician was going out and then called after completion of work. Would recommend highly.

First starts with the call to start this process and they were so friendly and sounded very passionate to my needs. The guys that came over very friendly and when they came back to give us quotes they were very informative and easy to follow on what was needed.

As always Gartman and team did excellent work diagnosing and solving the water heating problem. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Price was more than fair and service was very professional. I would highly recommend Gartman A/C, Heating and Plumbing.

Pricing seems fair to run 70 foot of gas line. They did cut my CAT6 cable that was already exposed and visible from when they came out to give estimate on previous day. Told me it would charge me extra to get it fix, even though it was their fault. I decided to fix it my self. Other wise job went fairly smooth.

Technician checked A/C for any problems that could have caused a blown fuse, none were found.Advised to keep extra fuses on hand for an emergency, where they could be obtained or call them and they would be happy to make a house call. A+ Service!!

Mr. Dean Gartman is very professional & expeditious. He explained to me the HVAC unit workings and common issues that arise frequently & then proceeded to do a preventative maintenance on the unit. I recommend him with 5 stars

Was told that I needed a new compressor. Called Gartman for a second opinion and they fixed everything. Biggest mistake was not calling them first!!!!! Did not need a new compressor. Easy fix thank you for keeping us cool!! Will never use anyone but Gartman from now on!!!

Had a freon leak from a peice they installed prior.I had to pay for the labor of them comming out to fix there leak.Not sure why I had to pay for there mistake.Guess at least they answered the phone I cant get honest hvac to answer the phone and service the units they installed.

Called for quote told millage and how long they were there was not told a minimum charge of $150. Was told be there 8 to 9 didnt show till 3pm then got a $600 bill for 30 min of work go A1 in snyder same service done for $230 should of got my license on line to buy a bottle of freon to do my self no way my system was 4 lbs low as the compressor would not cycle if it was due to low pressure switch and I verified with my guages that was only slightly low

Working with Gartman was easy and fast. They took care of our AC problem the same day we called. Will definitely use them in the future, if needed.

We had a leaking valve under our kitchen sink. We called at 7:45am and they arrived at our house Within 1 hour. Fast service and very friendly guys.

I had a “situation” with my air conditioner today and with this hot, hot, weather and a holiday weekend approaching I thought I might not find any help. One call to Dean Gartman this morning, and less than an hour later, air conditioning fixed, billed, paid! Highly recommend!

The men repaired a bathroom sink drain line and replaced a cracked main vent pipe drain line. The we’re friendly professional and hard worker. I will use Gartman for future repairs.

Called In to try to schedule water heater replacement. They had one in stock and had it replaced before I got home from work. Wow. Highly recommend

They were able to get to us, diagnose the issue and get it fixed very quickly. Great service.

They got our AC fixed but boy did they ever charge us, just shy of $1100 to fix a leak that i had already found and recharge the system. The leak was coming from the high pressure line going to the high pressure switch. They eliminated the line going to the switch and just crimped the wires for the switch together.

Very fast response time and quick repair. Very friendly personal both on the phone and in person.I am very pleased with their service.

Didnt show up when they said they would and didnt call.Didnt have correct equipment and parts to do job when they did come.Charged 50% more than quoted and refused to itemize materials and labor.The men who actually did the work did good work.Problem is with owner.

The owner of this company is a POS. Never even showed up after he said he would. Dishonesty and arrogance were the main traits I picked up. I do not recommend this business at all.

Don’t go to these people!!! We scheduled an appointment for Friday, missed work for them to show up but never showed. Did not even have the courtesy to call to advise me they couldn’t make it. With that being said missed out on money and didn’t get my ac fixed!!

Not very good , we paid over 200.00dollars, for them to come break the other side to the other bathroom, cut out our shower wall, then want to charge a extra 1,700, to fix it.., for just 25 dollars worth of parts
