ARS did a fantastic job from start to finish. When my air conditioning went out, they had a technician out the same day. The technician would not be able to repair the problem, so they sent out someone to quote me a price for a completely new system later that day.They gave me a really good deal on the new system and it was installed two days later. They were prompt, respectful, and they cleaned up after themselves after making sure everything was installed properly and worked. I subscribed to their membership program and received a 10% discount on a 5 figure purchase. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks ARS.

They had same-day availability, and the gentleman (Jacob) who came out to my house was polite, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He fixed the problem in under ten minutes, and offered a warranty on his work. I look forward to using this company for my future needs!

I received a professional and Precise Estimate From Rescue Rooter (ARS) specifically from Mr. Robert Woodward, a licensed plumber. The estimate was for a 30 foot sewer line on my property that showed to be defective when a smoke test was performed in the neighborhood sewer lines. The company sent a technician promptly and followed up with Mr. Woodward. I was very pleased with his thorough inspection that indicated the precise location of the line breaks and suggested repair. I would recommend this company to anybody that has a problem with sewer lines.

The ARS people who called on me and replaced my water heater were professional, courteous, and prompt. My only issue is with the corporation recordkeeping and documentation. They can never tell you what your service history was or whether you are still under warranty - this seems to be placed 100% on the customer to prove, which is difficult at best.

As usual, the ARS scheduling team messed up our appointment time and scheduled us for a time we did not schedule. This isnt the first time. Also, the scheduler I talked to showed no record of when our new HVAC system was installed. During installation of our new HVAC system last year , our sales contact person would fail to follow up with us at appointed times which he scheduled and we would have to contact him to rescheduled. His reason every time, was that he was over-scheduled by the company and working 14 hour days and not getting home til late at night. If thats the case, ARS needs to hire more people to provide better service to its customers. Also, the original tech installer of our HVAC unit did not complete the job and was in a hurry to leave to get to his next job. We didnt appreciate that. The City Inspector listed 2 items that needed to be completed. Those 2 items were completed Jan. 24. Felt we grossly overpaid for our new HVAC system... but thats OUR fault. We failed to get 2 other bids and fell for the ARS sales reps hurry up, hard sell speech. Were sure the sales agent gets a great commission for each sale....especially when the sale is at an inflated price.

After two weeks of research and interviewing four different major AC service providers in Austin, Texas I chose ARS . I just purchased and installed brand New air conditioning system from ARS. From the sales to installation was painless and professional. The comfort advisor was professional and very informative and accommodating. I give Mr Jeremy Soto five stars. the technicians came in to install were even better no disrespect to mr. Soto. The techs did a great job very very clean, very professional arrived on time completed job in timely matter with no mess on my carpets and No issues. We tested all the systems before a left we had an awesome knowledge transfer. I highly recommend ARS Services for your air-conditioning.

You never want to call a plumber Sunday morning. I called 2 other companies, they couldnt make it. ARS came, fixed the problem right away, left the bathroom better than they found it. Technician was supposed to perform a maintenance/tune-up on my AC unit for a $19 special they were running. This was to include cleaning coils outside and blowing out lines from the attic, along with a few other things. The guy showed up and said he couldn’t work on the unit because there was water in the drain pan and it would be considered a service call instead, which was $149 or something close to that. He also went on to tell me that I needed a new blower because the existing one didn’t work anymore. New blower and drain cleaning, $2254.00. A huge jump from $19. After the tech left, I got my wet vac, went into my attic and sucked the water out of the drain pan and drain lines. Guess what? The AC unit and blower kicked on right away and is blowing super cold air. I’m not happy with a company that offers a really good deal in order to get into your home and then tell you that you need all this extra stuff, when you really don’t. I was able to save $2254 plus tax, by simply removing water from a pan. Either the technician was incompetent or crooked. Either way, it should have been an easy fix and included as part of the maintenance/tune-up that they were offering.Update:In reading some of the other reviews, this practice of offering one price, then giving an outrageous price once they get there, seems to be pretty common with ARS. Customers work hard for their money these days and don’t want to feel like they’re being scammed out of it. ARS needs to get their act together. My next communication will be to BBB.

Give extremely accurate description to company of problem (washing machine drain line clog) They tell you a price of $83 if it isn’t something else. They show up and it’s nearly $400 to clear a washing machine drain line. Cleared the line myself with a 12 dollar hose end attachment bladder. Don’t waste you time with these morons.

I gave a five star rating for the installation, I give a three star for reliability. The installation was originally scheduled for April 26, 2024, but that didn’t happen and the excuse was a failure to schedule by clerk. I was then told I was scheduled for Saturday April 27, 2024 at 8am, but that didn’t happen and reason given for the no show was a mixup with parts sent to different job site. I was then told the installers would arrive on Saturday at 10am, but they showed at 10:30am. The installation was completed by 12pm. Businesses should have the decency to be reliable when someone pays for a job to be performed at a certain day and time. Reliability of day and time is just as important as reliability of installation.

I called to check on the appointment when it was obvious he was not coming on time. We had 2 appointments at 2 different homes-8-10 & 10-12. He arrived at 1030 at first destination. He was efficient and knowledgeable at both homes. He explained everything until I understood.

Tech wouldnt even look at the problem he was called out for. He did a diagnostic to prove that our older system was only worthy of being replaced. He said the blower motor was leaking oil, it isnt. He said the compressor would probably fail. We asked if he could install a fuse in the low voltage line from the furnace transformer and he quoted over $300. We asked if he could install a new control cable between the inside and outside units and he quoted over $700. Apparently ARSs way of doing business its to overpriced the repairs so much that you will buy a new system, or let them keep your $109 diagnostic fee. Later in the day we had another company come and check out wiring and install it Ecobee thermostat for $115. Everything is now working fine again.

My appointment was from 10-2 at 2, I called and customer service said shed notify the dispatcher, but no return call, again at three I called and went through the same process, and again at 4. Finally at about 4:20 the dispatcher called to say he was on his way. At 5:00 he arrived. Then he took 2 hours to trouble and change out a thermostat. Then they over charged about 3 times what a thermostat would cost $745. He never quoted the price upfront. I asked what it worked cost to just take it out and let me go buy my own thermostat, and he said he would have to charge 2 hours of labor at $278 per hour and a service call fee of $109, so $665, so I just paid the $745. Dont do business with this company unless you want to get ripped off. The worst part the thermostat isnt calibrated correctly and the tech told me id have to call tech support. How in the world is tech support supposed to adjust the thermostat over the phone. Again avoid ARS they are a bad company.

Corey was wonderful! He got everything cleared out of the way, and got ready for the water heater and his assistant to arrive! He didnt waste time.He assured me that turning the gas off to the house wouldnt hurt the furnace or any other appliance. He allayed any worries, then when they were done, he made sure everything still worked and checked water pressure and heat.Im quite happy in the estimate process from John and installation from Corey!He let my adult child watch and taught them how to adjust temp and check for water heater problems in the future!God bless you and thank you ARS! ARS responded promptly to our request to replace a water heater. They came on site, did an inspection and scheduled installation for 4 days later (at our request) The installation was done efficiently and with little fuss. The old tank was carted away so no further hassles for us. Their price was very fair and we’ll certainly do business with them again.

Had a tech come out and fixed downstairs heat but we realized a few hours later that upstairs was still not working. Called ARS back out a couple days later. I took off work early and the tech showed up three hours past the window time, so I didnt actually need to miss work. If only they had someone who understood professionalism and giving people a courtesy call when youre running behind, I couldve actually got more work in that day. Anyways, that tech couldnt fix it and stated another tech would be out the next morning. The entire next day goes by with no technicians showing up and dispatch just couldnt get anyone to give an answer as to why or when. Again, another day of work that I took off for nothing. So, still waiting for an answer as to when a tech is coming back out to fix our upstairs heat. The only reason Im even continuing with this company is because they installed this brand new unit/furnace in September 2023 and parts/labor are still under warranty. If it wasnt for that, I wouldve gone with a different company already. Busy, I understand. The lack of professionalism...not so much.

I am very pleased with ARS and Arturo RosasRosales. For many years Raymond was my ARS guy. Long ago, he guided me through my ancient HVAC system and then through the replacement ARS installed. He gave good advice and saved me money. We knew each others dogs names; he felt like family. He retired. When Arturo came the first time, I was fearful; he looked like one of my high school students. But he was very thorough and installed a surge protector. This time he was, again, thorough; he explained what he was doing and why. He made a practical suggestion with no pressure, just guidelines. He was very professional. He remembered the raccoons that brought their babies to my back porch. I was not his teacher but Im as proud of him as his teachers, his parents, and you must be.

The 3rd party scheduling person, Jessica, that I was directed to from the google search link was less than desirable. She didn’t relay all of the information I needed her to directly to the technician. Therefore, I would recommend calling the office directly and speaking with Crystal. Crystal in the office was fantastic.They let me know the eta of the techs arrival sent me his name number and a photo so I knew who to expect.The technician, Miguel, was fantastic and was able to repair the busted water pipe quickly, within a little over 24 hours from my initial call in a freezing situation, to get our water turned back on.Miguel and Crystal know what customer service looks like!

Fast visit, fixed my AC system quickly. Appreciated that they got me scheduled same day I called. They were communicative via phone calls & text. Fabian was great, very knowledgeable, personable, efficient, and helpful. Overall, difficult to complain about ARS’s services.ARS installed my new HVAC system less than 2 years ago and within last couple months my nest thermostat started displaying “no power to the Rh wire”. Very frustrating because the system was not functioning properly. It was a quick blowout of the drip line and that fixed the problem. And I’ve been putting vinegar & hot water into it regularly. Definitely more expensive than I hoped/anticipated but at least my system is working well now.

ARS called to update me on the technician’s arrival. I regret I don’t remember her name as she was very polite. Fabian Villanueva showed up well within the scheduled block of time. Mr. Villanueva was courteous, polite and friendly. He performed the semi-annual H AC and furnace check with care. He also checked for carbon monoxide issues. Every time he comes out there is simply something wrong with this conditioning in my house and the heating we’ve had problems with this AC and heat unit since the day we bought it October 22 I’m getting to the point where I want to hire a lawyer And get it over with because I am tired of freezing in the winter and burning up in the summertime with a $16,000 unit. Mark was polite and courteous and cleaned the drain but the ARS pricing was extremely expensive. You advertise $83/- toilet and $83/- main line clean on the web site but to unclog the shower the initial quote was $350 just to run the snake down the drain. He dropped the price to $150 when I said I don’t want it. But I should have really received the $83 advertised price in the first place. Very disappointed with this sort of price gouging but the quality of service was good and the service person showed up on time.

Master Plumber John came out to help with my water pressure issue. And Im glad he did!The sage old timer figured out what the issue was within 10 minutes of stepping in my home (greetings included). I showed him to my kitchen faucet and Master bathroom shower, he turned them on, turned them off, unscrewed them, put them back in and like a fortune teller told me that my water softener had gone bust.How the heck did he know I had a water softener?! 😳He got us a new water softener, installed it and was done by mid day. UPDATE: I ended up reaching back out and spoke to a dispatch for plumbing who could only tell me the tech was going to try to make it to me by 5-5:30 due to being in an attic and needed a break. I am an understanding person and only would have appreciated better communication through the 10 phone calls I made. The tech ended up coming out at 5:30 and did a great job with service. Again it’s unfortunate and a huge inconvenience to spend a whole day waiting around especially past a scheduled appointment slot.Set an appointment 2 weeks ago for ac maintenance from 8-2 I’ve called multiple times to check the status of the tech and was told one time the time came they didn’t show I called again and they said they would be here by two I called again at 1:55 and they said dispatch would reach out at 2:10 I called AGAIN and they said I would receive a call from the tech shortly that he had my order. It is now 2:30 and I am late for an event waiting for them to show. If they ever do. I’ll update my review but for now I don’t know if they are a company I would be calling again.

Peter provided exceptional customer service. Fortunately, he has serviced my units in the past. He explained the outcome of the service which was good. Also explained the options (Inflation Reduction Tax Credits) in case I wanted upgrade my unit. He will plans to follow-up with me regarding my Nest Thermostat which I still cannot monitor and control remotely since 2018 when my upstairs unti was replaced. This should be ARS responsibility to get this rectified through Nest. There should some sort of protocol in place.

We had a new A/C put in in April 2022 with a new thermostat. Twice we had to replace the thermostat which ARS replaced with the same model thermostat, which used batteries. It went out again 10/13/2023. I went to Homedepot and got another model thermostat which needed a c wire for power, which wasnt in the current wiring used. ARS replaced the old thermostat with the new I purchased, after going into the attic and correcting the wiring to the new A/C unit, I was told the installers wired wrong. Then because it was past their 1 year installation warranty I was charged $109 for their mistake. So I got the new thermostat for $80, and installed for $109. So now I have a $189 thermostat.

Bought 3 units in the last 5 months- top of the line units. Today at our annual maintenance check up we’re told our units are not working as well as they could be but for an additional $550 a unit we can have them working better. After only a few months they should be working at optimal levels . 3 brand new high end units should not need anything. Either we were sold inferior products or your company is trying to nickel and dime us and have us spend additional money not necessary for ac units that have a 10 year warranty.

I bought my system 10 years ago. The system worked but one room had an issue. Cut to now, Corporate sent a team of 3 out to totally reinstall my system, replace the ductwork and rehang and redo All my vents. Extremely unhappy with our most recent experience. Upon installation of the new ac we were told everything would be insured for the next 10 year and 24 hour maximum wait time for any mechanical issues. The AC is not even 2 year old and we heard a huge explosion sound at night and waited for 2 days to have it fixed at a cost of $2745!!! What an overcharge! They promised to send someone check it on Sunday but didn’t show up until Monday. Made multiple phone calls but nothing came out of it. 2 nights without AC is complete torture and we wish nobody suffer it. Also the $2700 charge didn’t come with a detailed breakdown. At the first maintenance told us the fee is for labor only since the parts are still under warranty. Later he claimed the charge includes parts labor plus gas to drive here blabla. They advertise as “unconditional money back guarantee” but prepare to be scamed for your money.

I just had a tankless water heater installed yesterday. They took around 8 hours, and I thought I’d wake up today with piping hot water everywhere in my home, but my shower got tepid at best and my water pressure dropped by 50%. They carved the hole for the drain pipe too high so they stuck a pvc pipe on it with the red letters facing outwards on the front of my house. I am so disappointed that after spending so much money, my situation is worse than before. If they can fix the issue, I may change my review. Let’s see how their service is.

Beware! ARS Rescue Rooter did a complete bait and switch on me. I needed a clogged bathroom sink cleared and when talking with customer service to schedule, I was quoted $83 total for the service and they she even sent me a coupon to give to the tech. They canceled my first appointment and rescheduled for the next day and upon arrival I was told that the coupon was for a different drain cleaning special and that what I needed would be $450 (over 5x what I was quoted and agreed to come out). This sounds like their normal practice for other reviews I just read. They want you to cave as you are usually desperate with a plumbing issue and that is unethical in my book.

Jason arrived early and unlike the previous A/C company techs, did not look for the easy fix and say, You need a new unit. I have used ARS for several years. But today, was the most unhappy experience. I had my yearly ac check ( which I had had several times before) up and something was poured down the drain pipes and was advised it would only last a few hours so I tollik my dogs for a walk, over 7 hours it smells so much worst. When I asked to see what was used, I was told they could not provide me a list (I did not asked them to pour anything down my ac drain lines). So now Im breathing in some kind of awful smell left over and they refuse to let me know what Im breathing in.I dont understand how its ok to tell a customer that the smell is ok, but they will not tell you what your breathing in. (They said it was not chemicals but still cant tell me what was used).When I called, I was told to pour water down the drain pipes.I have had many services done by ARS, and had a family member work for them in the past. I am beyond unhappy.

I am a landlord and I called them to get one of my properties cleaned out and I as the owner set up an appointment for them to come out and give me a quote they said it was free to come out and give me a quote And that they would call me when they were there. I never got the call they communicated with my tenants that don’t even speak English and they started to work on my property when I didn’t approve of any work till they notified me with how much it would cost well they surprise me with a hefty bill. I would not recommend this company the reason being is that they do not have communication with the people on site that is working on the property. The only time I received a call was when they were ready to charge me for what they have done and offer me more problems with more money on top. Then the guy that was working on my property said that yes it is free to come out but they charge you $89 just to put their hands on your problem to see what is the issue which makes it not free since they said that they give “free quotes”

I called to get prices about a clogged drain. I got a confirmation of a price of $89 over the phone for the tech to come out and unclog the drain. When the tech came out to my house he said it will be over $400. I called the office and talked with 2 different people about this neither one of them wanted to help me, given I was upset about being lied to. They just transferred me to costumer service VM. I was told by one of them that I was given wrong information unfortunately that is not my fault you do not train ur employees properly, so because of that i have to pay for their mistake. First of all if the Lowes in Killeen refers you to the place for a free consultation, don’t do it! This place is out of South Austin and will over charge you to come to Killeen. I asked how much it would it cost if they purchased the water heater and installed and was told $2,800.00 but if I bought it from Lowes it would be cheaper but they would still charge $2,000.00 to install. They claimed the cost included labor, permit, travel from South Austin, and the haul off of the old water heater but they never provided a breakdown of the cost. When I asked for a breakdown, the rude manager Pete said the amount was fair and that they charge a flat rate of $3,300.00. My advice is to buy it and have a local plumber install it and run from this place!
