Dr Watts conducted a very thorough diagnostic on my electrical issues. I knew the contractors that built my home cut corners, but I had no idea just how vulnerable we were. They were very professional and proficient. Don’t hesitate to call them when you have electrical concerns!

These guys are great!!! Rey was very professional, courteous and very thorough. Rey had two other techs working with him, but I dont know their names. However, they were all very knowledgeable, paid attention to small details and did a great job!

Allen did a wonderful job! First, he went over the work that I need done and which job was more important at this time. He gave me many options in regards to pricing and I was able to get the work done for a more than reasonable price. The office staff was also great…both ladies were so helpful and kind. This is my first house so I was really nervous! Dr.Watts (and Allen) literally saved my life! Thank you!

The team was knowledgeable, friendly and did the job right. They even cleaned up after themselves.The team of Jerry, Austin, Ray, and Kevin did a fantastic job. Our technician was very professional and informative. Getting our heating and electrical work done with Dr. Watts was the best option available as their servicemen are highly qualified and efficient at what they do. I needed a switch replaced. I called Dr Watt and spoke with Robin. Explained what i needed. Robin assured me i called the right number Dr. Watt. I needed it like Saturday but Robin friendliness and customer service experience were excellent and Robin was just patience with my anxiety kicking in of needing service like right away. I calm down to say ok , thank you for your patience see Dr.,Watt on Monday. When technician Allen arrived before time introduce himself, i was happy to see him..Allen did an thoroughly inspection of my electrical box inside and outside, before he touched anything. He Found out i needed a ground wire house was built with out one. I was furious because i never had anything replace major but a fuse for outside. Which i was told it may happen again but, no explanation from past technician. I was just out done for house that i say still new now All electrical sources need to be replace because house was built 31 years ago. Allen educated me to understand about the time spans on my devices. I knew in the past i had a few appliances exchanged and modification to add appliance back. After Explaining all my options i agreed to, Allen Fixed the problem he original came for. Plus i had Purchase a ceiling fan encase it was needed. Just waiting on solution on next appointment. I am happy he were able to replace switch and repaired ceiling fan where i can still use it. I was able to refund my fan😀Thank you Dr. Watt. I shared your service with others that if they ever need an thorough and professional electrician call Dr. Watt.

Jerel was an amazingly intelligent electrician! Very smart, funny, informative, and personable all while being very professional. Without even having to say a thing, he knew exactly where the problem was and how to fix it properly. I could not have asked for a better experience. Dr. Watts was the last place that I chose to call because I was afraid of the prices, but I am now thankful that all the other electricians in the Bell County area either didn’t return my call, were “too busy”, or were too rude & couldn’t be bothered with calling/texting me back after they told me they would (I’m still waiting on their calls so I can tell them to get lost).Dr. Watts may cost a little more than the other companies, but the quality of their products, work, and craftsmanship is well deserving of their prices & then some. Jerl came out to my home and gave me a price on doing work on my AC and heating unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Really appreciate the time he spent with me explaining everything to me. This In large part, is the reason why Ive decided to go with his option A. I Will be back to give you a review on the work they did, when its completed.Everything went great had to wait a little while for him to order the inducer motor but put it in today everything works fine couldnt be more happy with of him and Austin. Kevin was polite and respectful of me and my home. He efficiently completed an inspection of my electrical system, found and replaced faulty equipment and arranged a future appointment for an additional installation.Kevin is a good ambassador for this first class family company. They have my highest recommendation😀

My family embarked on a kitchen counter, sink and garbage disposal. After the project was completed, we had to hire an electrician to install an outlet under the sink for the garbage disposal. I called Dr. Watts and spoke to the sweetest person ever. I made an appointment with Kevin. Kevin did a great job of not only explaining what needed to be done to add the outlet, but he also helped to price a new patch panel and duct cleaning. We also signed up for a loyalty program, so we will be lifetime customers of Dr. Watts.

Daniel arrived early. He was incredibly nice and very efficient. Dr. Watts installed a quad outlet two years ago which failed on one side. Daniel determined that the screws were tightened incorrectly causing the outlet failure. He repaired the issue and charged ZERO dollars. He said it was covered under warranty :-) Now thats service! We maintain our WAM through them and have not been sorry so far :-)

I rarely give 5 stars to companies, so this is an exception, and its well deserved. Daniel and Kevin were excellent and found the problem with my fans blinking lights!! The problem has been bothering me for a few months and they figured it out. They kept at it until they solved it. Well worth the price. Not only that, Daniel was great to answer all my questions abd helped me understand electricity better than anyone has before!! Hats off to the technicians and I would recommend them ...hence the 5 stars!

I was in need of getting some electrical issues taken care of that another company left me hanging on. Our technician, Maverick, made it out quickly, explained everything thoroughly, and had all of our problems resolved quickly. I am very happy with how everything came out and I would recommend Dr. Watts Electric to anyone that needed electrical work done.

Initially our experience with Dr. Watts was excellent. They explained things nicely, and were very helpful. The problems started with the installation of our split unit. The tech who installed it lacked any attention to detail. The head unit was installed crooked, and the outside unit install was a tragedy. Yes, I have photos. And thats not all! They didnt properly install the lines, so overnight the coolant and oil leaked out. They came and fixed that, and made the installation look better. However, within a short time the unit stopped blowing cold. They came out and found it had leaked again. Again, fixed. Repeat this again, but this time they ordered parts and I waited a week. Now they have removed the head unit and found it was leaking. Great! Finally a fix! Except now it will be at least another week until the unit arrives. This is now two weeks without air in my workshop. When I asked to speak to the supervisor to see why it takes a week to get a part from Houston, he started lecturing me about the supply chain issues, how they are at the mercy of their vendors, etc. Thats no doubt true, but that still leaves me without the product I paid for. When I mentioned that, the manager (who I have since found out is the OWNER) totally went off on me. He started yelling, cursing, and just generally treating me not like someone who has paid them thousands of dollars. This is unacceptable behavior! I was losing my temper as well, so I handed the phone to my wife. He continued to curse at her as she tried to calmly explain why we were upset. Finally, he yelled Youll get a f*king refund and well come get our f*cking sh*t. Yeah, real professional. So in conclusion: If you want to get a shoddy installation, multiple service visits, and be yelled and cursed at by the owner, then Dr. Watts is clearly the company to choose!EDIT: James called and apologized for his behavior, which was greatly appreciated and accepted. We also appreciate the refund, and will accept it and re-evaluate our AC needs in the workshop.

Poor service response time and unprofessional contractors.Ive paid for a new AC system about a year ago and have had issues ever since. The techs have broken 3 holes into my ceiling, while I understand that accidents can happen, I am very upset about the lack of care or response to fix the latest damage that occurred about a month ago. Dr. Watts sent someone, who was very unprofessional, to repair the damage, but it is not fixed at all and it has been a week since we have notified them of this and requested they send someone who will actually repair the damage and have gotten no response from Dr. Watts. I would greatly appreciate someone contacting me about this issue or I will be contacting an attorney to get this fixed.

The team that came today and conducted the work were amazing. Jerry thoroughly went through everything with me and showed me all of the work that they had conducted. I was grateful and thankful for the service.

There was a lot to do- digging and they had everything thing they needed -And long cords to run ..for a dedicated plug for the Spa outside! ALOT of rocks in the ground And they got it done wow looks very decent on the little home also!☆Kevin is a super professional. ☆~

My second review for Dr. Watts. These guys do excellent work and have exceptional technicians. They wired power to a shed I have in the back yard and installed an interlock to allow us to hook our generator up to the house. These guys worked in the frigid cold of January all day and got it done. Not the cheapest guys in town, but I cannot imagine and better one.

Gerardo was my technician. He arrived early, and performed a comprehensive inspection of my electrical system. He was very polite and friendly, he was very good at explaining various technical terms to me. He helped me understand about the life span of electrical system, and appliances. I noticed that he put a pan under his vehicle to prevent oil leaks in my driveway, which I really appreciate. He always wore foot covering while in my house. He offered me remedies with associated prices for any items needed correction. I am very appreciative of the way he helped me with my ceiling fixtures in my great room and my bedroom, which were not responding to my remotes. He also helped me get my printer back on line, which adds considerably to my quality of life. He is certainly a credit to your company, and I would gladly recommend him and your company to anyone seeking electrical services. It’s so hard to find the kind of service he provided these days😍

Maverick was very professional and friendly. He took time to explain all the issues that might be going on with my fuse shutting off and how it could be fixed. He also answered all my questions. Quick and professional. Pointed out some items that needed to be fixed and we got it scheduled for later because they didn’t have the parts needed with them. We are on the service plan so no charge for the inspection. Wonderful as always!

Do not use this company unless you want to be over charged for their services. Also, if you are not happy with your service or have any issue for them to address, they will not! They charged me $575 to replace one 30-amp circuit breaker and the technician almost got blown up working in the box. I reported this to the manager, and he just wanted an email stating what happened for their records. All my concerns were never addressed in the email that I sent to the manager.

Dr. Watts checked my system and advised me on some other repairs I may need. They called and let me know my technician was on the way. I appreciate their good service.

The technicians were polite and fun to visit with and did a great job, as it was the last time they did some work for us. We’d recommend them any time.

DO NOT USE THEM. This is a slimy, sales-driven company that will overestimate, overcharge, and oversell you. The electrical code changes every two years; unless your home is less than 2 years old it WILL NOT meet code. This company will tell you everything thats not up to code and pitch you the idea that everything must be updated if theyre going to work on it. That is simply NOT true.Examples:- In 2022, Dr Watts quoted me over $15k to do a complete overhaul they said was necessary to fix the hvac issue I had. The rewiring necessary to fix the problem was done by another company and it cost me $500.- In 2024, Dr Watts quoted me over $3k to replace 5 regular outlets with GFCI outlets. A 5-pack of GFCI outlets costs $45 at home depot.There are many honest and humble small town electricians and electrical companies in the area. Support them and take your business elsewhere.

Ive used this company in the past and I actually had lost my information on them and I looked and found the truck one day they had the phone number on it this company does amazing work theyre very thorough theyre cost-effective they will work with you and thats what I like to move they dont put pressure on you that you need to do certain things they give you your options definitely someone you would need to get to know if you have some electronic services that are required.

Jerl came out to measure my home to see if we had the right size hvac and of course we didnt. Our home is only 4yrs old (built by stylecraft) and we have had problems with the hvac system since we moved in. Dr. Watts came to see our issues and thats when they informed me that we didnt have the right size system. Jerl took his time and measured my home and sat with my husband and I and explained what we needed. Dr. Watts is the only one I would call to help me with any of my electrical and hvac problems.

Allen was on time, very knowledgeable, made good suggestions and options for the issue we were having. I would highly recommend.

Terrible communication, poor customer service. Skipped our appointment, did not care to fix the problem. Good waste of a week waiting. Do Not Use!Edit: The appointment was at 10 and at 1 I called and asked why no one had come, I was told the appointment was for later that day but thats not the confirmation I had emailed to me. Someone was sent out after I called and asked what was going on. I called twice to speak with Keith I believe it was and he never returned my call, I havent paid the service fee due to him not calling me back. Also the two prices I was given were guessing, no tools were used to check my problem and I was only offered a diagnostic if I paid the extra $200 for the guarantee and its was 450 to fix what was guessed to be my problem. Its very unprofessional to tell half truths. Especially when the customer tried several times to speak to someone and get an explanation of what Im actually paying for. Do better. And have a great day.

He wanted close to three thousand dollars to put in a 240 outlet. Thats twice what I had estimates for. He also got close to a hundred for an estimate. Never again.

Electrician Jerl was on time, knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. He gave me good insight into what may be causing our elevator to lose power. Jerl also surveyed our home electrical system and provided good recommendations should we choose to improve and update our home in the future.

I needed my pole replaced, they came out and basically told me a line of horse poo, everything was bad, old and forgot their violine to make it sad enough for me to buy into. 7000 dollars to replace a wooden pole in the ground. I might be 60 years old but Im not senile yet.

Outstanding!! I cannot say enough regarding the quality of service Dr. Watts provided. I am pretty handy, but decided to call the professionals on this one. From the minute I spoke to the operator on the phone, the day of the estimate, to the day of service, they were nothing but professional. They not only listened to what I needed, but provided options that I did not consider. Daniel and Kevin were my technicians and they were great. Had them out to have a service panel installed outside, as well as upgrade addition service panels in order to provide service to a recently added shed. They took the time to ensure everything was in its place, in order, color coordinated…I mean it was thought out and the job looked outstanding. The caliber of work was beyond my expectation, highly recommend Dr. Watts.

I had a ceiling fan in my bedroom that the light stopped working but the fan worked. They came and did a diagnostic check and found out my light switch needed changing. They also were very informative about other electrical issues. They gave me quotes for them. He and his assistant were very nice. They did what I needed to be done at this time but will also keep them in mind for other electrical issues and the issues they quoted to me. The light they fixed was much brighter than it has ever been.

The guy who came out was nice however I was not happy with the service. He told me my thermostat was out. When I told him I had it under warranty and would have them come fix it he went to look for a different problem. He told me I had an issue with an item that was just replaced. When I told him this he said I needed a new system. So I was like so if I get my thermostat replaced it’s not going to work. And he was like no. Mind you now…when I was going to let Mr. Watts replace the thermostat he made it sound like he could replace it and that it would be better for him to replace it rather than the company I had coming to replace. I just wasn’t happy with the way he went from one issue to another just to get my business. Watch out so they don’t sell you a story.Well after the Mr. Watts’ technician came I had someone else come to fix my heater. I paid Mr. Watts $188 to do a diagnostic and none of the problems he wanted me to pay for was what the issue was. Not to mention my heater was not fixed. Thanks to the next company I called my heater is fixed….and on the same day.

Great experience with this team. Our heat went out Wednesday and Chris came to our home the next morning and got went himself to pick up our new equipment so we could have heat before the freeze! Very respectful and thorough. We have a service plan but realized we had a warranty on our AC unit after he left. Will always use them for any electrical issues. The AC was tripping breaker due to compressor being out. Brandon figured it out quickly. I lone this company and every tech that has come out has been awesome. Having our main AC unit stop working during a hot Texas summer is not exactly what I would call a good experience. That being said, I’m grateful to have found the right people for the job at Dr. Watts. From the Service Advisor that explained our options to the helpful Ladies in the office, I was so pleased with the level of professionalism. Our service techs went above and beyond while replacing the compressor in our unit. I wish I had all the names. I will definitely do business with this company again in the future. They are a little pricey, but they know what they’re doing. My job took a couple of days. My initial technician was Alan. He was very impressive. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. He did an exemplary job. He returned the following day with an assistant named Green. They both installed new wiring and plugs in a new wall. They finished the job with no sign that any drywall had been cut through. Very satisfied. Both Alan and Green did an excellent job.

Maverick was Great! He came out and explained what could be wrong with my ceiling fan and what he said he thought it was, is exactly what it was. A wire came loose and was touching metal. He literally twisted it back together capped it off and put the ceiling fan back together and it worked. I thought $188 was a bit pricey for that but hey we couldnt do it so Thank You Maverick! He explained everything the entire way through, even complimented my girls on singing Christmas songs lol. I would absolutely recommend him because I think he was awesome and I am satisfied with the service 😊

Gerardo came out as scheduled and was very informative and helpful. He got my issue resolved and i was finally able to get my roof tarped safely.

Have used Dr Watts on several occasions to do work on my moms home. Maverick has been great to work with as well as all of the team members that have completed the work. In my most recent job they were quick to evaluate my electrical needs and worked with me to do just what had to be done. The job was completed quickly. Will use them again if need arrises.

I very seldom leave reviews but I will tell you, the technician, Allen and his apprentice, that came out was amazing! They took a very stressful situation for us and made it better. Daniel and Zach came out today to install two ceiling fans and fix a switch that controlled our ceiling fan, in one of the bedrooms. We called yesterday for service. They came out today. Daniel the electrician, explained everything to us. He was not trying to get us to purchase anything but when we asked, he did explain how their service worked. We were impressed that this company really cared for their customers and their employees. Zach is an apprentice and he was very good at helping Daniel. We bought an older home two years ago and we are updating everything. The electrical system was definitely out of date and we knew we would have to have work done. We are very satisfied to have found our go to electricians.

Jerl came out a second time blew the line and additional cleaning of the pan for better draining. Hopefully this will correct our problem.

Brad did an excellent job explaining all safety concerns and seemed very motivated in wanting to correct any deficiencies and improve the condition of my home. Dr. Watts Electric, Heating & Air is the best company I have found to take care of all my electrical repair needs. I have been using them for several years to upgrade safety and do repairs in my house when necessary. Among other repairs, my breakers would flip during minor rain, as well as for no apparent reason. That was corrected. They put in more up to date recessed lighting in my ceilings. That looks good! They have replaced outlets and fixtures throughout my house. I have always been very satisfied with the work they do as well as feeling peace of mind for the safety they have provided for my family.

Shun & Brad were the technicians who came. They were so 🙂 nice. They took care of business!! They gave us peace of mind to find there was not an electrical issue but an appliance problem. They were so good at serving our concerns and installing an antique light fixture. I just had to tell the world about Dr Watts through this 5 star review. How is this company still in business? It must be the $89 service call to try to upsell you $4000 worth of service. I only asked for one 3 wire outlet be replaced. Expected 10 minutes of labor to do this. (We hired another electrician that did the work so i know how long it took.) The technician (actually a salesman) wanted to sit down and give me a binder presentation about the company even though we were very clear on the phone what was needed. One outlet. This wasted over an hour of my time hearing what a great company they are, even though i clearly explained i only wanted the one outlet replaced. The quote was over $300. We paid the $89 service call and sent him on his way. Beware of their business practices. Read the many reviews about their upselling practice. Nice gig as each home visit is $89 and they dont do anything for it except waste your time.

I wanted two light fixtures hung in my home. I was scheduled for service and told about the $89 service call fee. I asked for a quote for the two fixtures, and was told the technician would go over everything with me and give me pricing. My gut told me to CANCEL and NOT use this business. I knew there were hidden fees. I WAS CORRECT! Once the technician arrived we were told about every possible reason as to WHY we should add this & that and check this & that which could cause a fire or help us in some way. SCARE TACTICS to get you to sign a contract. Excessive products with big cost attached. To hang the light fixture would have cost me 2.5 times the cost of the fixture itself! Yes I literally wasted my time and my money. I would not recommend this electric company to any Veteran in the Killeen/Fort Cavazos area.

They were very professional, did a safety inspection and let me know the current status of my home’s electrical panels, also talk me through some upgrades available and went over possible options to savesome electricity. The technician was very respectful to my home and wore booties to protect my wood floors. They fix my problem I was having at hand and are very technically proficient. They guarantee all their work. Overall I had an excellent experience.

Maverick and Zach were extremely professional and caring. When I was getting stressed about the cost, Zach asked if I was okay. Maverick offered 3 choices and discussed each indepth with me. All questions and concerns were addressed. The Ladies at the office were great to talk to and quickly answered questions with knowledge, friendliness and a smile in their voice.

Buyer beware. Please read this review prior to scheduling any electrical service with this company. The initial call to schedule the service was great, the receptionist did a great job. From there, it goes downhill. The service appointment was set for Friday, however, it was rescheduled for Monday at the request of the company. The “electrician” shows up today, 5/8, and was unqualified to perform the service. The technician broke two of the transformer boxes due to his inability to properly remove the covers and forced them off which caused damage as the screws were broken. When speaking with the service manager, James, he refused to take accountability for his employee’s failure to perform. James essentially said it was his word against the homeowner. Now any business that has a degree of common sense would have identified the covers being destroyed prior to even working on the transformer to prevent liability. This identification would have likely been photos or the very least, showing it to the homeowner. The price quoted for the initial visit was different than the charge.Lesson learned here, don’t fall victim to this horrible business.

They finally got to the root of the problem compared to previous technician from another company that just replaced the breaker, only to have the issue come back withing a couple of months. Allen and Kevin did an amazing job and showed they cared about what the issue was causing so they went above and beyond.

We contacted Dr.Watts today. With an emergency call. Very loud buzzing from the panel. They had a tech (Greene/Zach) at our house within 20-30 min. Upon their arrival. They explained their upfront diagnostic charges. They found the buzzing was an electric toothbrush in the trash below our panel. At this point. Their honesty. Prevented any unnecessary cost!!!! They could have easily made up problems. As our house is older. I would definitely recommend them. Fast response. Professional attitude. Most of all honest.

I use to be able to do little home repairs but when you get disabled and old you just have to pay for it. BUT GOOD COMPANY.

I had a great experience with Dr. Watts, their tech Allen was very professional and informative. He explained in detail all the work he was performing, and alerted us to multiple potential fire hazards that existed in our homes wiring. Because of this we had him upgrade our breaker box. Allen did excellent work and our home is now safer because of it. I would highly recommend Allen and Dr. Watts, and I would use them again in the future.

I’ve been trying to get an electrician to come out for repairs for about a week with little success. I called Dr Watts on a Wednesday and they were able to come out on Thursday. Sean was very professional and helpful with the repairs. He made sure to inform me of the work he was doing and got everything done quickly.

Came out to get an estimate on rewiring a connection from some outdoor equipment to an indoor control. Expensive estimate.Then he said I should consider them installing a house surge protector for $900. Told them I had one installed a few months ago for $250. They hadnt even checked.Got worse. They then said that the sleeve for the power line had slipped away from my meter box after they actually checked to see if the surge protector was there and working and that they could repair the sleeve for $1,100. He knew the price because he had just done that job for someone else. I asked them wasnt that something Oncor would do? The tech said that he was sure that Oncor wouldnt do it.I didnt have them do any of the work because it seemed suspicious. I called Oncor that afternoon. They came out the next morning and repaired the sleeve for free.Called the office to talk to them about this. The manager never called back.Clearly I would not use or recommend this business to anyone.

Well I have to say I was most pleased with my electricians work and knowledge.He was a gentleman by the name of Allen Rittenhouse and he was really impressive I first liked how he addressed all of my concerns and questions all 500 of them lol than he showed me everything that was out of code and how much it would be! But the best part is the little things like how he vacuum out both my inside and outside breaker boxes Lord knows I havent touched the inside of them since I bought the house and he cleaned out all seven dead lizards and lizard eggs inside them I dont mess with or like electricity so I dont mess with them. And this was just during the initial inspection and look around. All in all his expertise was appreciated along with his professionalism and quality of work I do believe they are alittle pricey because of the quality bit for that customer service Im willing to live with that

The members are nice and professional and seemed knowledgeable. My issue is not with the staff but the cost of their work. I recently had some issues with the electric with the entire home. I ended up calling them and after an inspection I was told I needed to completely move my main panel and upgrade it as well as the junction box outside as it was not up to code. The job was estimated at over $12000. I was given the chance to finance it to help out but we decided to get a second opinion and we did. I called a second company and got a bid for upgrade around $2900 for everything and was told that I did not need to move the panel since my house is old, therefore it’s kinda like we’re grandfathered in. The recommended upgrade was for safety and better quality. Unfortunately that electrician was too busy to do anything soon so we used my home insurance and got an electrician out the next day. Turns out that the issue wasn’t with my panel but the lines from the city that connects to my house. It was a issue for the city to fix and they did. You would think this company would have identified that. I went from a possible $12000 job that wouldn’t fix the issue in the first place to a under $100 service call only fee. Always get second opinions.

Israel came out to my house on time, even a little early, and had to do a diagnostic on my Ac/heating system. It was the worst possible outcome for me, as I needed a new system. Israel worked for two hours to try to get the best deal for my needs. They will begin installation within the next two weeks. And if before then the heat becomes too unbearable, they will send out a portable unit for me to borrow until the work is done. I am a member of the Dr Watts club and don’t regret it for a minute. I was so happy with the work and treatment of myself as a customer , I almost forgot my car had been totaled the day before. I love this company!!!

Jesse did a great job.They invoice by the job not by time and materials.He told me the options and I chose what I wanted to be done.He did an excellent job. Very pleased.They also offer a “contract” for $250 per year. Once you sign up you get two checkups for hvac per year as well as an annual electrical checkup.As well as getting a ten percent discount for life as well. They also increase the warranty on all work done to be equal to the manufacturers warranty so instead of a one year warranty on all work you get A 15 year warranty.At least that is my understanding. So… I recommend this business. They do good solid work.

The outlet needed to be changed from a 3 prong to a 4 prong to accommodate our dryer. The $ to make the changes was more than I could afford. The gentlemen were very professional throughout and understood my position having just bought the house. I would liked to use them I jest could not afford the expense of a new braker, wire and outlet

My husband is very picky about how things are done and is a perfectionist with his own work, so it means a lot that he was pleased with Daniels and Gerardos work. They were efficient, polite, and careful.

Had a bathroom heater removed and an exhaust fan installed in its place. The first technician that came did not vent the fan outside, with installation completed in 45 minutes; venting into the attic. With a home inspection, was brought to our attention that it was not vented outside (per code regulations). Same technician came back and vented outside, breaking the wood brace of the exhaust fan and not bracing it down (held in only on one side) while also using a whole tube of silicone on the outdoor vent that was not flush with eaves of home. Requested new technician to come fix and Allen was awesome!! -he fixed everything, was courteous, professional and took pride in his work. I am grateful the issues were found and resolved within the warranty period (fixed at no charge). I would use this company again, but I would ask for Allen to be my technician! Had he been here the first time, I know the work would have been done right. Thank you, Allen!!

I used this same company before to surge protect my house, so I knew I wanted them to come and see what was happening some years later. They were quick to respond, very professional, quickly identified the problem that was actually created by the initial builders, and after presenting a couple of options, they immediately got started in fixing things. I cant thank them (Allen and the guy with him...my apologies for forgetting your name) enough!!

I was quoted $1,800 to swap a chandelier with a ceiling fan and add 4 disc lights on a brand new home. I was even providing the fan, disc lights, and the fan control & dimmer switch. I had the tech explain the job and we determined itd be around 4 hours of work. I wouldnt even pay an attorney $450/hour. Yall should be ashamed for that type of price gouging, this is exponentially higher than the other quotes I received.

Our outlet over the stove for the microwave stopped working and we didn’t know if the outlet was bad or if the microwave was bad. After calling around to several companies, Dr Watts was able to send someone out the same day! Maverick came out and found the plug to be faulty and replaced it and the breaker. While he was out we also added a whole house surge protector and had him change out our low voltage doorbell for one that would work with the ring video doorbell and he also installed the ring door bell. He didn’t have the right part for the door bell on the first visit so he had to come back the next day to finish the job. He was early/on time both days and the office calls you prior to let you know he is on the way. He had shoe covers he wore in the house which I thought was very nice of him. He is very personable and professional. I ended up signing up for their annual maintenance plan. Thank you so much!

So, the are one of the most expensive electrical companies Ive ever seen. They charged 400. 00 to replace a breaker after coming out the day prior and charging me over 200.00. My HVAC company told me that the breaker fuse had to be bad because when he turned it on and off it would work and then trip again. The first two didnt figure that out and neither did the second two I just had them change it and it fixed the problem, which they said nothing was wrong with the breaker or fuse.

When the original work order was halted due to an unforeseen corrosion in the meter, they laid out my options for continuing forward or stopping and taking a refund without any pressure. Despite my wallets agreement, I decided to increase the scope of work to ensure my house is fully fixed and up to code. When they were finishing up and realized the main panel wasnt setup properly to tie in with the new outdoor setup, Jess took the extra time and fixed it to ensure it was done right.Having a company/technician do whats right, instead of bare minimum to get out the door, is the reason I will call Dr Watts for future work and have signed up for their yearly AC and electrical tune-up service!

Prior to the arrival of the technicians I had called and ask for the cost of wiring a switch for a ceiling fan. I was given a base charge of $85. Plus’s any additional work performed. Two technicians arrived and also searched for the cause of another outlet that was not working. The difficulty soon found in a tripped Ground Fault switch. The main problem was to re-wire a three box to control a ceiling fan, light kit and an additional light all in the same box. The re-wiring took approximately 15 minutes and everything was functional. They provided no parts, did not wire the ceiling fan, or install it, only wired that one box. The average cost for this kind of repair in this area is about $85-100 at the most. After filling out multiple forms and attempting to sell several services the bill was presented for $398.00 clearly four times the average for this area.So will I recommend Dr Watts? NEVER.I will also encourage all my friends and neighbors and anyone searching for an electrician to look elsewhere, otherwise you may also be cheated or price gouged. Too bad there is no lower rating than one star.

****$1,000 for a $20 part and 3hr of labor****Initially left this company a good review. Bc they had a great technician as well as customer service and fast response time. However, they charged me $1,000 to switch out a hot tub breaker switch... I felt like I overpaid but had no clue by how much. The switch they installed cost $20. And all the tech did was replace the old switch. Maybe 3hr max on site time? Thats $326/hr. Goodness gracious I feel so dumb. Just call around for quotes if your thinking about using Dr Watts. I swear they must have the same business model as Radiant plumbing. Con artists.

He worked diligently and efficiently, providing highly proficient work and a quality of results that exceeded my expectations. Jason sought my preferences (the placement of a new outlet), and helped to inform me with his wealth of experience. I had a variety of needs, and he was attentive, informative, and thorough on every one. You MIGHT be able to find fairly reasonable service for a slightly lower price, but you will miss out on the quality, professionalism, and attention to detail that were so richly provided in my home. Called on Monday for an issue and technicians Allen and Gerardo came out the next day. They fully explained everything and made an upgrade suggestion. There wasn’t an hard sell on anything but I decided a whole home surge protector was a good idea. Great work

A technician came out in April 2023 to service an electrical outage in my family room. Discovered one of the outlets in the family room burned out. However, it took him some time to troubleshoot the problem, and had to call another technician to penpoint the problem. The first technician changed out the burnout outlet, and should have installed a new circuit breaker in my outdoor panel. So, at least I thought. Fast forward to June 2023 while shampooing my family room rug the repaired outlet would not hold the load from the vacuum shampooer, and kept tripping the breaker. Called a different electrician and learned the technician never installed a new circuit breaker. I paid Dr. Watts $747.00 for that visit, and had to pay the other electrician a service call of $110.00 for them to install a new breaker. Tried calling Dr. Watts to ask for a refund for this $110.00, but no one every answers the phone. Please do not use! Overpriced! Dishonest!

Dr. Watts staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Their work was professional and they returned my residence back to me as they found it, tidy. I will definitely be using them again in the future as well as highly recommend them. Thank you Dr. Watts and staff for a pleasurable experience.

As you can see from above selections, theres not much not to like about Dr. Watts, starting with the quick response from their office to set up appt; notification of who tech will be and when they are on the way. Politeness and professionalism of techs. Explanation of various options available.

I was quoted a $69 diagnostic fee that more than doubled after they looked at my AC. The cost to repair my unit was OVER $2000 above the state average. The cost to replace my unit was $13,000 OVER the price quoted by another company. And to top it off, the serviceman walked around looking through our windows, his hands cupping his face and pressed against the glass. He said it was to get the square footage of our home but that doesnt make sense because Id already told him the footage and peeking through windows isnt how thats done. The only redeeming quality it the receptionist is polite.

My heater was not blowing any airI called Dr Watts and they came right out and got it working. Israel was nice and explained what happened where I could understand it. The repair cost was fair for what he did. I will be recommending them to my friends.

These guys were awesome. They checked everything out that I called them about and even showed me some problems that I was not aware of. They quoted me a price on each and every part of the repair and replacement so that I could choose which services I wanted to have done. I ended up getting everything done!

Jess and his partner were very nice and quickly addressed and repaired the MAJORITY of issues..however we do have a major out of code issue that they gave me a bid for...Im a real estate agent and I work with electricians in 6 different counties for the past 11 yrs...our home is 21 yers old and has aluminum wiring...the original work was not done to code and has some very real safety issues, the entire breaker panel does need to be replaced...now, with that said, I do have some basic knowledge of these issues and I am also more than prepared to get multiple quotes especially for work of this scope and magnitude ...the bid that was given to me was ...how do I say this gently? It was RIDICULOUS...bordering on the verge COMPLETE and TOTAL INSANITY!! When I politely rejected the bid while I researched and got other bids, it became a sales pitch of how great Dr. Watts is and selling me on a maintenance agreement amongst other things. This is not my first rodeo and I truly feel as though Dr. Watts is teaching its electricians to be more sales than actual service. Like I stated in the beginning...Jess and his partner were very nice. But also when I scheduled the appt. the young lady I spoke with wasnt completely transparent on fees... she did mention the $89 initial fee...but never mentioned the additional diagnostic charge once they get to your home. Today was worth the $378 in my opinion, but the BID to replace and update the breaker panel was ludicrous to say the least..I called 3 other licensed and bonded electricians after they left and I got bids at literally 1/4 -1/3 LESS than Dr. Watts. I was 100% transparent on the scope of work to be done and I even sent pictures. Sorry to say, but I would not recommend Dr. Watts after my experience today, if you are wanting a company wanting to provide SERVICE over MASSIVE upsetting, then Dr. Watts is NOT the company to call.TracyK

We had an emergency and called about ten electricians. Dr. Watts was the one to come to our rescue. It was Sunday, very out and my 82 yr old mother was not doing too well with the heat. The AC kept turning off and we were trying to fix it ourselves hoping to make to until Monday so we would not have to pay the insane weekend charge. We did not fix it ourselves and needed help. When the technician arrived he ran his diagnostics as soon discovered that even though our HVAC was new (one month old) it had not been installed correctly. The breakers were tripping. We did not even know there were breakers in the HVAC closet. After that he found that the pipe was clogged and he cleared that. He then told us to put one cup of vinegar a month down the pipe to keep the line clear and that will never happen again.This wad quite expensive for the company who put the HVAC system in and not give us any instructions.When the line filled up the circuit breaker tripped and shut down the thermostat. When the line cleared up some the thermostat came back on... filled up the line shut back off.We were glad to find out it was nothing. Not happy because we should have been told how to care for our system. Not happy about the cost to clear a pipe but still very greatful. It was a Sunday and the charge for a Sunday evening was going to be expensive.Thank you Dr. Watts for coming to our rescue you were worth it, we finally received some relief from the heat.

So these guys come to my house, on time at least. Wife was taken care of showing them what we needed while I was at work. Only needed 4 plugs ran into house. They looked up value of my home, dont know why, But I knew it would be some bull from then. Did they thing, and came out wanting to charge 4k for 4 plugs. So i get on phone and asked what they charge for. Best thing he comes with is their experience, So you charging me 4k for what you know. Fair enough. Already know Im not getting the service. Then writes on his little ticket I couldnt focus on decision. Uh no sir. You couldnt focus on the questions I asked and come with some bland answers. Then had the nerve to try and trick my wife into signing off on estimate to start the work. aint said nothing slick to a can of oil.

My fiance and I just bought a house and we realized too late that it needed a new electric service to be safe and up to code!! We called and they were professional, courteous and quick! Were really happy we called and the new panel works great 👍

My technician John was on time, and very professional, he explained to me what exactly the problem was, and then proceeded to give me options. The most amazing thing was that he waited for me to go to Home Depot to buy a new ceiling fan so he could install it. I have never had service this good from someone doing repairs on my home. John explained to me what was happening in simple terms! I would highly recommend Dr. Watts to anyone needing electrical work done.

Initial inspection of our 30+ year old panel board disclosed several safety issues including evidence of surge current damage and inadequate grounding. Initially we were going to replace the panel board only, but the local utility and the city now required replacement of the service entrance equipment also. Dr Watts personnel quickly adjusted their schedule to incorporate all the service entrance work. Electrician Jess and assistants Dale and Daniel were all job focused and pleasant to work with. Top notch installations are now code compliant and are professionally installed. I’d hire these folks again without any reservations.

Thorough inspection to pinpoint the problem. Some safety issues were addressed which will be fixed later this week. Great service from the phone call with quick response and analysis. Kimberly and Maverick are awesome!

They were great! I called for a very last minute job and was originally scheduled for a week out but they were able to come out and do the consult and do the fix all in the same day. Highly recommend!

Just want to say I called to have 2 GFI plugs replaced. The tech required an inspection FIRST. 3 were replaced and it cost eleven hundred seventy five dollars. I called to request an itemized statement. Told they dont work that way.

We called them to get an estimate to replace the power in our house. They came 2 the house. They came into the house and was writing up an estimate. My husband told them at the start that all he wanted was the boxes fixed and electric run from the pole. Well he precedes to write up an estimate which included smoke detectors in the house which we didnt want and all kind of different things they wanted to do for safety. Well the estimate came out to be over $7,000. I could tell my husband was getting upset because he told them I dont want all that I just want the boxes fixed and the wires run from the pole. But the salesman proceeded to put everything into his estimate. So needless to say we wont be using them! Oh and also they charge $69 just to come out to the house to do an estimate. We have never had to pay for a contractor to come out for an estimate.

We allowed Dr. Watts to revamp our whole electrical system, including relocating our service panel. When our HVAC technician came to do our winter service, he informed us that the new system had reduced the heat breaker from the 80 amps it was in the past to only 60 amps, which is not adequate for our system. We paid a great deal of money for incompetent service. Do not use this company.
