Doug and Brendon were great. It took a little bit to get our heat up and running but they did everything they could. Doug even brought us a space heater to use overnight because they were unable to fix the issue that day. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

I have only been a homeowner for a few years and when my A/C started dripping I called my realtor for a recommendation. I called Doug on a Wednesday morning and he was at a site helping another customer. He quickly called me back and I briefly told him what was going on. He said he could have his guys come out in an hour or so. He gave me a window for when they would arrive and then called me back when the time was slightly different, which I really appreciated.When Brandon and the (training) guys showed up they immediately got to work. They found a small blockage and got it out. They also checked the unit outside to make sure it was good, even though that wasnt needed. They said everything looked good but the inside unit could use a deep clean that only Doug could do. It wasnt urgent and I could schedule it at my convenience.Brandon emailed me the bill, which I would consider affordable for A/C service. He said I could take care of it when I was ready. It was really easy to pay online and I didnt feel pressured at all. They were so fast and efficient. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Great service. Our upstairs AC was not cooling efficiently. They came out the next day and determined it was due to a leak. Evaporator coil was replaced and now runs as it should. Highly recommend.

Just called to ask for info to receive a quote and was told it was 79 to look at the system which is fine. I was really polite the entire time and then I asked what time they’d be able to stop by then asked if that amount could be applied to the repair and he says, “I have to pay for my time. I’m the owner. I’m probably not your guy, good day” then hangs up. Really rude. No thanks. Don’t want service from rude people. That’s bad business especially since I was polite.

As usual, Doug and his assistant were very professional with conducting business in preparing our air conditioner for forthcoming summer. Doug has been our air conditioner and furnace man for many years. His work ethic is to be commended and I have refer him on several occasions to friends in need of his services.

I called Doug on Tuesday at about 3pm and he was able to come out within 24 hours the next day at 2pm. He expertly diagnosed the problem (which was the capacitor), replaced it and everything is working great after. Doug was very professional minimized time inside the house, tidied up, and was on his way. Doug did not try to upsell on any services or products which I’ve had with the other larger companies. I’m definitely going to use Doug again as I’m an huge fan and supporter of owner operated companies.

Doug gave me a detailed description of what the problem was. He even loaned me a portable AC to help us while the part was being delivered. He made a total of three trips to the house and didn’t try to get any payment until the job was complete. I highly recommend Just Right for cooling/heating needs that you might need help with.

Doog was able to fit us in to his schedule to find and fix the problem with our A/C unit. We had come home to a 90F house and Doug was able to get us back up and running. Just Right just installed a new hvac system at my house. Shortly after, the new hvac was making a high-pitched noise every time it kicked on, & it was driving me bananas. Doug & his team came back to my house & replaced a piston & checked a few other things on the unit to make sure it was working correctly. I highly recommend! I have partnered with Just Right Heat & Air for 10+ years. They have always been completely honest in what was needed, & super responsive in their communications & support.

Initially when the company rep (NOT Doug, the owner) came out to check on our unit, he was very quick to leave, because his checklist showed everything was working properly. I had to be pushy and insist he recheck. He argued that his checklist was fine. After digging in my heels, he finally did so. Guess what???? it wasnt working properly.In his defense, he did rush out to get the correct part to repair the issue. Unfortunately, this didnt work, so we went without heat for the night (temps in the upper 20s). The worker returned the next day, called support for the part needed to fix our unit, and learned he had installed/hooked it up incorrectly. He was very apologetic- but clearly very green in his field.I understand everyone has to start somewhere, but at what cost to the customer? I think maybe the newer/greener workers need to have supervisor or team member with them until they are competent to do the job accurately the first time.

Doug and his employee came to my house to diagnose an issue with my heater not working. I had a tricky issue where they have never encountered before. They had to come back a few times but were ultimately able to figure out the root cause. They replaced a motor on my heater and also cleaned out the ventilation pipe to the motor. Turns out some animal has been nesting in the pipe causing my heater to not operate due to lack of oxygen with all the leaves stuck in there. They cleaned all of the debris and was able to get everything working again.

Quick to respond! We called first thing Saturday morning of Father’s Day weekend and they came out shortly thereafter. Doug & Derrick were very thorough and took their time to troubleshoot our problem. We are working with a very old ac unit, and were leary of ac companies who might just walk outside and say replace the whole thing. Derrick has been to our house each time to work on the a/c units. He gives us the our options and is very down to earth and straight forward on what needs to be done. It helps me to know what action is best to take. I have been very pleased with their punctuality, professionalism as well as friendliness.

This guys came in this morning and told me i needed to replace my entire condenser unit at a cost of $3600 (just like my neighbor!). Well, i sought a second opinion only to find out i was low on freon and a $10 disconnect box fuse. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I feel like i should get a refund for the service call charge.

Simply excellent job, down to earth and an awesome guy to work on your system.My heater was down last night (Jan 2015). It was below freezing outside, and the temperature inside kept dropping. I waited til the morning, and contacted Mid Cities AC to come over. The guy fiddled a bit with my furnace, determine that it was the control board that was broken, and quoted me a ridiculous price. I kindly showed him the door after paying the not small dispatch fee. Since I do not have any knowledge about HVAC, I started using MidCities ACs diagnosis to shop around for a better price. Doug, The owner of Just Right Air, quoted me the lowest, but he was skeptical about the diagnosis, and want to diagnose it again for no charge.He came over very quickly, and not only did he found out that the first diagnose was wrong, and quickly fix the issue, he also charge a very reasonably fee for the work.Ive worked with many technicians before, and I know a lot of them will just charge you through the roof because you do not know any better. Doug was not one of them. He has been in the business long enough, and I can tell that he is genuine.Needless to say, he will be my go-to guy for any HVAC problem from now on.
