I am new to SETX. So I don’t know very much about having a heat pump. With the really cold weather we have been having, ours started to frost up, and maybe even freeze. I was referred to your company by the previous owner’s of our houses daughter. I was able to speak with Cody and he gave me a thorough explanation of the situation and how to deal with it for now. I would have given 5 stars had the service appointment not occurred nearly 24 hours past the promised time, however, the business associates were friendly and up front explaining the delay. This company seems to be very organized and my technician was knowledgeable, thorough, and Expeditious. The service was a little higher priced than similar services I’ve had in the past but the work is warranted so I find value in this. Overall I am pleased with this company.

About 7 years ago (I was using a different AC company) I needed to replace my aging system. I got a bid from my then current company I was using and 3 other local companies. And just today in our new house I had to get my whole system replaced (unluckily it was an old R22 system) Im very satisfied with their pricing and top quality service. I called to schedule a general service check on my home A/C and help installing a new thermostat. From the start, the woman who answered and scheduled my service was a pleasure to work with. She put me on their schedule in a timely manner that didnt conflict with my work schedule. The tech that came out installed my Nest thermostat with no issues, serviced my unit in the attic and the outside unit, and he took the time to answer my questions about regular maintenance on my unit. He even went the extra mile by showing me hands-on ways to take care of the unit in the attic, and pointed out where there were hot spots in my attic from missing insulation. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable.The price for their service and my peace of mind was up to par, and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of. Customer satisfaction on my end is 100% and I would highly recommend their service.

Whenever we have HVAC problems, we always call Sumrall because of the excellent service, promptness and good value! Courtney is awesome!! She always takes care of the problem and gets someone to come check things out!! The service men who have come to check out problems have been so pleasant and courteous to deal with. Last night we had a problem in the outside unit...blade came loose. My husband immediately turned the unit off and we called the after hours line. Countney got the message and called us as soon as she got it. Chris came out after 9 at night and took care of the problem. We appreciate their promptness since temperatures are in the high 90s. Had an issue with A/C not cooling on a Friday afternoon. From time I called to schedule an appointment to time tech showed up was very quick, about 30 minutes; within another 30 minutes, the tech had the problem diagnosed and corrected. Very knowledgeable, polite and professional, would highly recommend!

I received an email informing that the technician (Michael) was on the way. Michael arrived and introduced himself in a friendly manner and stated his reason for being at my home. He preceded to PM the Generac Generator. He notified me when the PM was complete and the job site cleaned. Gave an update on the operation/ usage of the generator. He was professionally and courteous. Produced the invoice and wished us well.

Regular Spring maintenance on my A/C service contract. Added some freon, cleaning, pressure checks etc... Brian did a good job, was very professional. I have used this company for a couple of years, they have always been polite, professional and very helpful.Just completed regular Spring maintenance on my Generac generator also. MobileLink informed me of maintenance due. I scheduled the appointment. The serviceman was prompt abd polite, changed filters, oil, and checked battery. Ran and cycled the generator. Informed me of all that he did and condition of the generator. MobileLink notified me as maintenance was being performed too. Very impressive...

This is the third time we have used Sumrall. We have been extremely happy with the service and the cost of what was done. They have been very thorough every visit and addressed the issues quickly and at a much cheaper cost. I was informed they dont work on commission like the last a/c service I used which never seemed to do a thorough maintenance according to the contract.

The gentleman was very professional and did a great job servicing our generator.

My house was not cooling as it shouldve been. I knew I had a leak but I didnt know exactly where in my attic in the ductwork. I called another company first and their repairman did not find the issue but suggested I get all new ductwork at a very expensive price. However, Brian from Sumralls, came out and found within 5 mins that a cap plate had fallen off my duct and a huge amount of air was escaping into the attic. Brian took the time to fix the issue on the spot along with another area that was leaking. He did this at a very reasonable rate. He was friendly and professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Sumralls. Sumrall for now has saved me a fortune that did not need to be spent at this time.

These folks are awesome! Called them up 7am on August 25, 2020 (yes 2 days before landfall of Hurricane Laura) and told them my AC was out. They were at my house by 930, had the right parts on the truck already and got us chilling in no time!!! Courtney was fabulous on coordinating everything quickly and Andrew was great as always on quick diagnosis and repair. They even emailed me a check up sheet on all the diagnostics of the system. Ten out of five star rating because they are quick, reliable, friendly and they kept working with a hurricane brewing!

Sumrall had very quick and quality service. Supper nice Tech. I did pay too much to replace a 40.00 capacitor

My gas furnace problems were fully resolved. Christian took the time to understand the issue and made three trips to make sure the unit functioned as expected.

My main air handler/blower went out. Andrew the service technician did excellent work, was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about my high efficiency smart system. He even pointed out some efficiency steps/changes to make. And most importantly my ac is back up and running better than it has from original installation. The Sumerall team did a great job switching our old heat pump out to a XV20. The workspace was very tight in the closet but they managed to get the new unit working in one day.

The experience w/ Courtney, Chris & the team was exceptional from start to finish. New unit is in and working flawlessly. I called on a Monday and my unit was installed the same week on Wednesday. They worked a little magic with their scheduling to accommodate my availability. Again, exceptional service at a reasonable price based on the six (6) estimates I received from other local A/C service contractors.

Holiday weekend call out and the technician was very friendly, professional, and walked me through the process of what he was doing so I would have a better understanding of the situation. I had a tech at my house within 30 minutes of calling and it was repaired within an hour.

What an effort! A thermostat hit by lightning during a local thunderstorm event. Even with mild temperatures, a fan, and a willingness to due without AC until the new thermostat order arrived days later, the tech continued to find\work towards a solution to allow cooling to continue with the damaged thermostat. Even if not used continuously until during late night hours before retiring for the night, which the other unit was untouched by the storm. The tech over looked my continued insistence, I will be fine with the mild temperature and a fan. I may have been happy with an open door and fan for a short period of time, but the availability of the temporary fixed on the damaged thermostat for an hour of relief from not so much the temperature, but the humidity, was much appreciated. A true concern for customer satisfaction and comfort!

Sumrall AC techs always take good care of me when they are called for service. Their employees are professional, knowledgeable, and clean up behind their install work. I recently had a brand new thermostat start randomly resetting one weekend. Sumrall has a new one ordered (covered by trane warranty) and had it promptly replaced within a couple days before it failed completely leaving me without functioning AC. I would recommend them to anyone.

Generac generator yearly check up including air filter & oil change. My service man was Matthew Britt - he did a professional job and was super courteous while here. 5 star ⭐️ service!

I would not recommend this business to do any hvac work whatsoever. I paid for a yearly maintenance plan for 2 years and they never sent anyone nor tried to schedule a technician to come perform the routine maintenance twice a year that was agreed upon so I cancelled the yearly maintenance plan. This week, I called them to install a new thermostat. I was charged $687 to install an $85 thermostat. $95 callout, $95 per hr, $25 diagnostic, $30 fuse, and $425 for the thermostat itself. The exact thermostat is $85 everywhere you look. I was told that the $425 covers a 5 year warranty and the knowledge & experience to put it in. I figured that’s what the $215 in labor, callout, and diagnostic fee covered.

Another excellent experience with Sumrall! They always call ahead, arrive promptly, check everything thoroughly, and answer any questions. They are personable and professional. We continue to hold Sumrall in high regard.

This was the first time using Sumrall Air. And this is the first service/maintenance on the Generac 24k . I understand that you can buy a maintenance kit for less than $30 about $25. for annual maintenance. Instead of paying $275 i can save and do the PM myself. The internet has all you need. The filter wasnt dirty cause the Generac since owning it has ran about 29 hours on 2 occasions. Will not be worth your price u less major repairs happen. But thanks for the demonstration of how simple it is to do it yourself. Have a great spring and summer

Luke and Jordon showed up on time and described in detail everything they were going to do. Chris ensured that I was satisfied with the work and explained how the entire system works. We purchased a Trane from Chris. He explained the different capabilities of each model, along with the advantages and disadvantages of each. He came back later to install and setup our Nexia bridge for remote access for our thermostat, and he had already registered our product for us. We were very happy with the installation, the product, and the support from Chris.

Called to get a quote on new A/C and furnace. Chris came out and went over all of the pros and cons to the different brands and seer ratings. Went into the attic and checked my old system to make sure things he was promising could be delivered. Technicians were great. Explained what they were doing and completed the job in one (very hot) day! I shopped the area and received 4 bids. Sumerall offered the best value for the seer and brand (Trane) that I wanted. Group of liars and thieves. Watch out when you ask them to come to your house and check your A/C. UNTRUSTFUL people that will charge you hundreds for doing nothing. Instead of paying 75$ check fees, I paid them 430$ because they said they added 6# of freon for my 1.5T a/c. They even didnt put a half # in it plus I didnt ask them to put any.The biggest problem is that thier boss is the worst of them so you cant complain.
