They came out today within 5 hours of calling the office. The tech came in and found 1 loose wire tightened it and tested the system. 195$ not bad considering the great customer service and quick response. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We have been using Ainsworth for years and yesterday reinforced why. We had another freezing day, and shortly after we got up we realized that although the fan was blowing there was no heated air coming from the vents. It was Friday of course. I made the call for service and shortly a tech arrived at the house. He worked and checked and then informed my that the circut board for the unit was bad. He made some calls , the part got ordered and he told us his supervisor would make a run to pick up the part. Late Friday afternoon he made it back to the house, after working on other calls all day. He had the part in hand and shortly had it switched out and the unit was back in business. It was well past his qutting time for the day, but he was still most gracious and considerate. Thank you for taking care of us!

Showed up on time, however tech was not prepared to make any repairs, charged me $215. 00 and said that my furnace needed to be replaced. We called Otis Heating and Air, they showed up and had it fixed within 30 minutes. We will use Otis from now on!

Our AC stopped blowing cold one afternoon, so we gave Ainsworth a call. They did not have an opening until the next morning, which wasnt near fast enough considering this wonderful Texas heat. I inquired if there was ANY way to get their sooner, which they were able to create a window to swing by and check on our unit. Our AC was blowing ice cold in literally 15 minutes upon their arrival. Super simple to deal with. Invoicing was quick, their pricing was very fair considering they were at our residence 2 hours after I called, and the techs who came were very friendly. If you are looking for an AC company, I highly recommend Ainsworth.PS- Im not trying to lay it on thick, it just really was that good of an experience.

Like so many, Hurricane Beryl knocked out our power, once it was restored, my son realized that the A/C was not working.He called Ainsworth, as they are the ones that installed his A/C unit, and they came out to inspect/assess the situation to find the thermostat was bad. First bad news delivered was that they told him that his warranty was only good for 5 years and that it expired 3 weeks prior, and it would cost $800+ for a new thermostat; that did not include the service charge, and that we would have to wait a couple days as they did not have one on hand.We looked up the exact thermostat on Amazon and discovering that it cost $385 which was disturbing knowing that they gained a $450 profit. They didn’t even come put the thermostat on, they left it in the mailbox for my son to put on and figure out how to set it up.Fast forward to a week latter and the A/C is not working, so we called them out again. The inspection was done and it was suggested that we do a leak test to see if they can find the problem and prior to that, I was told it was the condenser as it was leaking oil and that the warranty was expired, “Of course it was”. I refused service as we could not afford the “ potential” cost.We contacted another A/C company to come and inspect the A/C and to give us a second opinion, I am glad we did, as the problem was the dryer (not the condenser) which was much cheaper to replace.First visit didn’t get a follow up-finish the job, and the second was a misdiagnoses, overall it cost my son close to $1800.00 for two service calls and neither were completed at the time they came out. I would not recommend or refer this company to anyone ever.

Very informative technicians with superb service. Tristen came across my failed fan motor and fixed that baby up! No problem. Definitely using Ainsworth in the future!!

Tristen was a life saver today! Our fan stopped spinning on our ac unit, and he was available to stop by same day. He walked us through what was going on and answered all of the questions we had. Thankfully, it was a quick fix with the capacitor. He did discuss what we needed to keep an eye on, since it is a hot summer. Thank you, Tristen! We noticed something was not working properly with our air. We called another company who has a catchy and memorable jingle TV ad. When they came out, they quoted us $6000. They told us all kinds of things were wrong with it. (The house is four years old.) They did nothing to even attempt to get it to work. Today Ainsworth came out to look at it. Within 15 minutes, they had it operational in twenty minutes. He came back down and made some recommendations as to what we needed to do. The fix was very simple. Very straightforward and honest to deal with. We are going to follow through with their suggestions. It is a far cry from what we were originally quoted. Honest with a lot of integrity,

These people are incredible. I contacted them during the summer peak season, and Laura promptly sent a technician, Dustin, to my house. Dustin was extremely thorough and took care of all my air conditioning concerns. I cant praise this company highly enough. Ive relied on them for multiple homes and various issues, and they always exceed expectations.

I was all week without power due to hurricane Beryl, and finally got power Saturday 7/13 night. I noticed the AC was on but not cooling. I called Ainsworth the next day around 9 am and Alfredo was able to be here in the next hour. Turned out it was a bad capacitor and he was able to replace it on the spot. He was knowledgeable and experienced and was able to get my AC working again. Will call them again to upgrade my HVAC system in the future!

Got Tristen Bradford as my tech and he was absolutely awesome kind courteous etc. Just a cool dude he knew what he was doing was very friendly and respectful but the important thing was he knew did his job perfectly without complaint and quickly if we need them again we are keeping him on request thanks a bunch again

On the phone I was quoted 89 dollars then cause I could only do sat..it would be 150. I had no choice but to do sat. I asked what will it cost to blow out overfill line for ac pan in attic and was told those prices, he used a wet vacuum on water in pan not even sure he blow out line or ran bleach down it. Took 2 photos to show its empty and charged $225. Then when he used my bank card he charged 22,500 on it so it locked up as fraud. Then I needed a receipt and didnt get it till 6 hrs later on line. Dont use, very mis leading

A young man, I believe his name was Logan, came out at midnight and fixed our A/C. Its June and hot as... Great Service and so nice from calling in and scheduling to getting the A/C cooling again. Thank you Ainsworth & Company!!!

Tristen Bradford came and fixed my ac and his eyes seem to sparkle and shimmer in the sun light. Dude even offered me a kolache and taco for lunch. Not to mention his dad jokes are on point!!!

I have been a customer for about 5 years. Always excellent service and they send you detailed pics after their annual inspection visit and document everything on their end. So next time they come, they focus on all the right parts. Highly recommended by me to all my family and friends.

My family has always used Ainsworth so I knew when my ac unit died I would be in excellent hands with Ainsworth. Damon came out and went over everything in detail with me. He was so professional and personable he immediately put me at ease! He even brought an air cooler so I could be comfortable while waiting for my install. There was a cancellation for a day earlier and of course I took it. I was constantly kept up to date on what time the crew would arrive and I was able to text Damon about anything and received a prompt response. The crew arrived on time at 9 am sharp and immediately began working. I felt so comfortable with them and their professionalism I chose to run errands. When I returned home at 1:30 pm they were already cleaning up any and all debris. I am so grateful for the timeliness and professionalism of the entire staff and crew and especially the general manager in knowing they had my back every step of the way. I can’t say enough about Ainsworth but just know you will be treated like family!

Ainsworth sent technicians very quickly to get my air conditioner fixed. Will and Cameron were courteous, polite, professional and knowledgeable. They explained my a/c problem and told me exactly what it would cost to get me up and running. I couldn’t ask for better advice and service from anyone. Thanks to them I am giving this review in the comfort of my home on a day with outside temperature in the triple digits. I will highly recommend these folks to family and friends.

I called and got a tech out in the evening to come check out my AC unit that wasn’t working. Tech told me that it was a fan motor and we could have the parts the next day and have them installed. He also recommended that an electrician come out prior to him showing back up due to breaker still sending power when it was off. I called an electrician immediately that evening and he came out and found the AC tech was turning the wrong breaker off nothing was wrong. $150 for nothing. The next day I called Ainsworth at 1000hrs to see when the tech would be back. They said they would call me back. At 1300hrs I called again and was told they would call me back. I called again at 1600hrs and finally able to speak to someone they told me they ordered the part. Bottom line I had to call them and hunt answers down. I ended up going with another company and the issue that Ainsworth told me I had was not correct. They sure were fast to cash my $169 service call check! So $169 and $150 for an electrician for absolutely nothing. Granted I never asked for my money back and I even think I told the General Manager to keep the money but the whole experience just seemed like a money grab to me. I never put a bad review on anybody but I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Our AC stopped working unexpectedly on a Saturday and we called 2 different places before calling Ainsworth. Luckily their service technician, Will Rhoudes, came super quickly after I called and he fixed the problem in no time. Something the other guys couldnt do. I am really impressed by Wills work and professionalism; he really knows what hes doing.

My AC stopped cooling on Friday evening. I called Ainsworth on Saturday morning for repairs. Logan H. was there in a few hours and repaired my ac. He found the problem quickly! He also found a much bigger issue with my breaker box which could have caused a fire. Thank you Logan for your hard work! My AC is working great.

Woke up Sunday morning and realized my AC was not running. Called Ainsworth 24 hour emergency service and they scheduled a tech to come out the same morning. I called after 8pm and Will got to my house after he finished another call. So he was here within about an hour. He was super nice and patient with my 4 year old that wanted to talk his ear off. He looked at my ac and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. If we need our ac worked on in the future I will be calling them again and asking for Will.

I have an older AC that we needed service on badly because it would not stay on. Called in the later morning, Will with Ainsworth was able to make it hours before stated time, diagnosed the issue, and had us up and running with tips to get a little more time out of the older unit. Couldn’t be happier with the service and professionalism.

Tristen showed up promptly. He was friendly and professional. He immediately went to work diagnosing the problem. When he discovered we had a power surge he immediately fixed the problem. Our air conditioner is working great now. We couldnt have had a better experience. We have used Ainsworth for over 10 years and are always satisfied with their service. We highly recommend them.

We have been using Ainsworth and Co. for the past few years. We use their maintenance service in the fall and spring and have been very pleased. We have called them for a couple of AC repairs and they came out the day we called them and completed the repairs at a reasonable cost. Tristen and Logan have been our service technicians. They are both knowledgeable and professional and always check out the entire system to make sure the repair is complete. They are also just nice, friendly guys who seem to enjoy their profession. The office staff are always so friendly and helpful as well.

I called on Father’s Day afternoon and a live person answered the phone (I hate answering machines). She was very professional and courteous. She explained that the service fee would be higher because it was a holiday. Logan Hebert was the tech that came out. He called me when he was inbound and arrived promptly. He replaced the capacitor and cleaned my compressor. I was very pleased with the service I received. I would highly recommend Ainsworth & Co. to anyone needing A/C service.

*******edit 08/16/2023***************Ainsworths team quickly resolved my issue after I posted a review and explained the situation. They returned to my house to check if the new thermostat was still the problem, and if it was not, they would waive the second trip fee. Since I was confident in the installation, I had them come out and it turned out there was a short wire from the furnace to the outside unit. The repair was done quick. I want to clarify that BOTH technicians who came to each service call were highly professional and skilled. Where my disappointment was how my second call was dismissed so abruptly. It seemed like they didnt take it seriously because I didnt purchase their overpriced thermostat. Ainsworth has acknowledged their mistake and explained that there was a pricing error and miscommunication. I am now satisfied with the outcome and will use Ainsworth going forward.08/14/2023Ive always trusted Ainsworth with my A/C repairs and have even recommended them to others. However, my recent experience was disappointing. When I called for a repair, the technician diagnosed the issue as a faulty thermostat and recommended the Sensi brand. I asked for a quote and was given a price of $600, which we both agreed was too high. I paid $100 for 15mins of his time and I decided to replace it myself with a $120 Sensi from Lowes. Unfortunately, this didnt solve the problem. When I called Ainsworth again, they wanted to charge me another $100 service fee, without acknowledging their mistake. I was taken aback by this lack of responsibility and ownership of a job.

Still highly recommend Ainsworth!!June 2021- First time using Ainsworth for yearly AC check up. The lady answering the service call was very nice when scheduling service.Technician that came out was Freddy. Very nice guy! Professional and courteous. Spent about an hour looking over our AC. Explained every step of what he was doing and what he needed. Highly recommend and I will definitely use them again in the future!

Love this company....they have always been there for us in emergencies even when other companies wouldnt even bother. Always professional and very friendly. We called to have maintenance done to our AC and Tristen Bradford came to our home. He was very professional and knowledgeable and friendly. They did a great job. They gave us a fast, fair estimate and explained all of our options. Once we decided to hire them the work was done within a few days. We compared estimates and service with several other firms and found that Ainsworth was the most customer friendly and easy to work with of the several companies we obtained bids from. We would recommend them to our friends. Nice, friendly folks to work with.

BEWARE OF PRICE HIKE!!!!We asked our neighbor if they knew of a good AC Repair company and they recommended Ainsworth.The technicians quote to change a bad fan motor was 1200. He told us he didnt have the parts but could install in the morning.Unfortunately for him we did our homework on the internet and he was charging us 695.00 over price.W called another local company and they not only charged us 495.00 for the SAME BAD FAN MOTOR but had the part and installed the same day.WE WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND ITS MOST UNFORTUNATE BECAUSE NOW MY NEIGHBOR WILL NOT USE THEM SO THEY LOST TWO CUSTOMERS!!!

Damon and Will installed a new thermostat for us. I was so impressed with the whole process. They were so helpful in explaining everything. So professional but also so personable. Been using this company around 20yrs. and have always been very pleased with the service. They are very knowledgeable about the systems and wont sell you what you dont need. Just bought a new system with complete duct work and they said I didnt need the size of unit I had. Ended up buying a smaller unit because thats what I needed. Would recommend this company at any time. We always ask for Logan to come out because he is very knowledgeable on the equipment. Always does a great job and cleans up afterwards. Does not do anything without explaining it to you.

They not only came out within a day of me calling them, but also had my repairs both started AND finished the very next day. We had issues when we first moved into our home and called these guys out to fix it in June. They came out a few times and charged us twice I gave them my card info thought everything was taken care of. Apparently they didn’t charge the full amount then. They waited 11 months to randomly charge me 2,600 dollars. There was no phone call to give warning they were charging my card again. There was no attempt to explain anything. When I called and questioned it, the secretary said oh that’s just what was owed so we charged you. How do people operate a business like this. I absolutely will not ever do business with them again.

Mr. T. Bradford serviced our a/c unit today and was very courageous and knowledgeable about the entire process. He informed us of every step of the way on what he was doing and the results. It was a pleasure to have him in our home! Thank you!!

Great people! Came out to do a review of our system that we have had issues with over past 5 yrs since bought home as new. Ainsworth was able to see immediate issues with airflow and remedy them for us. We were able to get on a maintenance plan as well. Great customer service, great communication and great work! Great experience, all around. We have our AC twice a year contract with Ainsworth, so we already used and liked them. Had to have a lot of AC equipment replaced, so we called them. From the nice person on the phone, the owner coming out that day for a quote, the service techs and the guys doing the work, the following day, all was good. Reasonably priced, fast, clean and professional. Would definitely use again and recommend anyone give them a try for any AC work.

My AC needed service so I called Ainsworth. Their tech Will arrived and serviced my AC promptly and performed the required maintenance in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and my AC is now super cold. Will be calling them for my future needs. Thank again

When our AC went out, my wife made the call (I was still at work). The technician, Logan, came immediately. Very knowledgeable and well equipped, he troubleshot the problem and had it fixed in less than half an hour. Friendly, competent customer service!

I’ve used this company twice. 1st time I had an AC unit installed in my house and they were great! This time, I noticed an ac leak in my new house and they were able to come out same day to fix it. Tristen was great at diagnosing the problem and talking us through the solution and how to prevent further problems.

He described the issue and offered options for how I may have it fixed. He immediately identified the issue and offered me possible solutions without pausing. Great company!! Our a/c unit went out after regular business hours, and they were able to come out within an hour, diagnosed our problem and had it fixed quickly. Tristan was our tech. Great service!

Logan came in to repair mistakes from a different AC company that installed new units. He provided evidence of flaws, clear explanations, and recommendations. He was timely and efficient the first day to repair the top priorities, and on the second day, he and a second technician displayed the same characteristics. They even noticed a couple of other items in my attic not related to AC that I need to take action on to prevent costly future repairs on plumbing. I am grateful for their help.

I was very pleased with the installation of my new HVAC unit. Laura was very helpful helping me choose the best unit for my home. Damon and Daniel had my unit installed in one day, even though it was raining and my yard was flooded and muddy.They all were so friendly, considerate, & answered all my questions. Updated Review in 2023: Company sold us a faulty unit and failed to notify us of a recall. They continued to charge us knowing that this unit had been recalled. We never got word of the class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. I will never use this company again and have told many people not to use them.We got a new system from Ainswortn in 2014 and I have been very pleased. The only reason I rate four stars instead of five is because on one occasion when they had to come out I had to explain to the technician we had a ten years parts and labor warranty. He seemed surprised for some odd reason, and had to check with his boss. I understand, but was a little upset when he asked twice for payment. I got my contract and showed it to him and then he was fine. I was a little surprised though. If I hadnt had the contract, I do wonder what would of come of it. I spoke with the receptionist and was told they didnt have it in the system but that it was good I had my copy. All in all a good company. Would and have recommended them to many Baytown residents

Justin Cooley came out today and did the spring service for my unit. He was a true professional. He was very kind and thorough when explaining what he was doing, why he was doing it and what I could do to keep my system in great shape. This is not my first time working with Ainsworth and there is a reason for that. A great company with Great people doing a Great Job!

Freddy did a great job today. Very professional and pleasant. His service was thorough as was his explanation. These maintenance visits always seem like a chore to me. We had such a pleasant experience that I will no longer dread them.

I would like to thank Tristan, Junior, Damon, Mike and the others who installed our new AC unit. They are the BEST! After Tristan completed our annual spring maintenance check, it was recommended that we needed a new AC unit (Ours was 24 years old.) Junior came that evening and thoroughly checked it out to determine what size unit we would need. He is extremely knowledgeable and covered all the details regarding installation of a new unit, ducts, and vents as well as answering our questions along the way. The crew arrived on time and the job was completed in one day. Damon and Mike followed up to ensure everything was completed. We are very satisfied with our new effecient and quiet unit. We strongly recommend Ainsworth and will continue to use them for all our AC/Heating needs.

Logan is very professional and very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job cleaning my Split unit and clearing the line that was causing the leak into my house. He explained everything clearly to me and I was able to understand the issues. He provided me with excellent customer service and I appreciate it!

Such a good experience with this company, they are very much needed in this Texas heat! Our AC stopped working and they came out around 8pm, super quick service and the guy that came out was very professional and knew what he was doing. He figured out what was wrong, went and got a part and came back and fixed it and it was all under an hour from the time we called.

We received service after-hours and were given honest competitive prices. We contacted Ainsworth after an emergency left us melting in our home; they called us immediately after we left a request to contact us, they arrived within the given timeframe and solved the issue within the hour. Ainsworth was honest, prompt, professional, and recommend them for your A/C needs.

A marvelous young man by the name of will came to repair my A/C system. After multiple failed attempts by other companies this young man showed up ready to work and boy did he. He got my system up in running in a jiff and left me very very satisfied. Going forward I will not call anyone else and will only ask for will. As I said before Thank you will for not only being fast,clean,and professional but also easy on the eyes!

As in any industry there are Guys that can do the work then there are professional trained technicians who truly understand all the engineering behind their product and how to properly install it.I purchased and older home with a relatively new lennox system. The system would run for hours and hours just to cool the home 2-3 degrees. I knew this could not be right.The first company I called out checked the system and found no issues. Never crossed their mind to check the return air volumes and outputs.Junior with Ainsworth was able to spot the problem very quickly. My 4 ton unit had only enough return air for a 2 ton system. We fixed by adding some more return air and changing some old out of date duct work. The crew was also very courteous and professional. Made sure to clean up all their mess and kept me up to date with progress as the day moved on.My system is so much more efficient and quiet. I am sure this summer we will see a big difference in the electric bills.Thanks to the team at Ainsworth for a job well done.

We’ve had Ainsworth installing and servicing our units for years but Logan Hebert was the best technician we’ve had thus far! He helped us resolve some ongoing issues and fine tuned our system to work more efficiently for our house. Highly recommend Ainsworth and Logan!

Bad thunderstorm left me with no AC. Called after hours and Tristen came to check, he diagnosed it real quick it was a bad control board. This part needs to be ordered and it will take several days to be delivered. First call I received from Angel she told me that the local supplier will have the part delivered by July 17. (Today is June 27, so that is almost 3 weeks without AC) Angel told me that she will find the same part out of state and have it shipped quickly. She doesnt want us to have ac for weeks. The following morning got a call from Angel and she told me the part from out of state was delivered and Tristen will be coming the same day to install it. Tristen came and he went straight to our attic just to have the control board installed so the ac will start running again. Outstanding service! Called for service at opening. I was told they could get to me between 12-2. I started heading to the house from work at 11:45. I live about 15 minutes away. About halfway home (about 11:50), I received a call from Tristan (the technician) saying he would be at my house in 15 minutes.When he got to the house, I explained what was happening, and as I suspected it was a faulty capacitor. He replaced the part and did a general annual maintenance on my system. He was done by about 12:40.Tristen was very polite and professional. He gave a few suggestions and was on his way! Used Ainsworth AC today (9.18.2023) in the Baytown/Mont Belvieu area for a home unit breakdown. The service techs that arrived were Will and Cam. I was incredibly impressed by these two young men! We were very pleased with the response from Ainsworth to our AC problem. The servicewas prompt and professional. Scheduled a maintenance to be done on our system before the devil came down to Texas for the summer. Scheduling with Angel was short and sweet. We had some bad weather on the day they were scheduled so Angel had the courtesy to call us and reschedule for the next week. Tristen came out the next week and was friendly, polite, courteous, and efficient in his work. He had no problem taking his shoes off. Took the time to explain everything and answer questions. We will for sure be using them for our future HVAC needs.

The technician Tristen Bradford showed on time and quickly assessed the problem with our a/c. He had it fixed within an hour. He was very polite and professional. We will stay with this company.

I got home from work on a Friday at 4 pm to find that my AC wasnt cooling. I immediately started making calls to businesses listed on Google to get it repaired ASAP. The first place couldnt make it by until Sunday afternoon. The second place said they would have to call me back and they have yet to do so 3 hours later. Then I called Ainsworth and the sweet lady that answered the phone was great and personable. I assumed it would be Saturday until someone would come, but she assured me it would be this afternoon. Michael called and was at my home in 2 hours! He was very knowledgeable and actually took the time to show me the issue (a capacitor) and explain how the system works. He also cleaned up some old wiring from the system and went into the attic to check/clean the primary drain (see Michael, I listened) and install a valve to avoid any future problems related to that!All in all, it was fast and convenient service and I will definitely be using Ainsworth again for any future needs! Had minor issues with them before. Aunt contacted Ainsworth and got the issue resolved. AC still needs to be replaced. After normal business hours can get expensive but they are prompt and are upfront about the cost. Shes trying to limp along her 17 year AC system. Stopped by to grab a capacitor for her unit but unfortunately they didnt have one in stock. Went to local supply house and they had one. Still the guy who helped me test the capacitor didnt ask for anything. Guess the other technician who I had issues with wasnt there that day. So 4 out of 5 stars.

This company is fine as long as you dont mind being overcharged, they came out and charged me $89 to tell me what was wrong with my system and give me a quote which ended up being double the amount of what Iactually paid for the repair from an competitor. Which also provided a free estimate!!

Will came out and was very professional and personable. He explained what was going on with my AC unit and made the repairs. He also installed a new thermostat. My AC is working perfectly now thanks to Ainswrith and Will.

Damon Savage from Ainsworth & Co was by far the best technician we had to work on our ac at my job. I purchased a brand new entire unit (air handler and compressor) from Ainsworth. They installed it 4 hours. A few hours after install my house was not cooling so I called them and they had Damon come right out to look at it. It just so happened the board in it was defective from the manufacturer. Damon went back to the shop got a new one and Michael another technician came back with him. They got my a/c running in no time. This kind of customer service is some of the best I have ever had!!! When they cMe for my summer service the technician seemed competent enough changed weak compositor said when they came back for my winter service that they would do a more thorough job of cleaning my AC. As he was by himself when they came for my winter service that I had to remind them about. he checked the heater and forgot to reset the fan so last night on the coldest nit this year 14 degrees my wife and pets had no heat when I got home this morning it was 37 degrees in my home I must say Im not impressed

After a very frustrating long time of trying to get my A/C fixed through another company and my home warranty, I went outside of the home warranty and called Ainsworth. The install technician, Mr. Damon Savage, was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of the new units and the installation there of. Damon and his co-worker, Daniel, worked under extremely hot and dirty circumstances, and conditions and still managed to complete the installation as scheduled. Before leaving the site all trash and used materials were picked up, discarded, and the garage swept clean. I appreciate their work ethics and will recommend Ainsworth if and when the opportunity arises.

I had my AC go out (leak in the coil) and Damon and Tristan came to replace the coil. While they were here, they helped me out with the new thermostats I bought. I wasn’t sure if the C wire was connected, and of course it wasn’t! Damon was great and explained some things to me about how the system works that really was helpful. Even better my system is up and running!Thank you Damon & Tristan!

The tech was nice and he seemed knowledgeable. They installed some equipment for my home that supposed to help me get rid of allergies, ill said they did a good job on the install. However, they give you a receipt with one total. So, if you have a complaint about an item. Its hard to know how much is the actual price. They installed a thermostat, an air scrubber, a filter cabinet and a vent for $2585. Plus $170 2 trip maintenance. I wish they would of told me how much each service cost. Because, they sold me a thermostat that supposed to adjust my humidity. And, is not true. I set to a desire humidity and doesnt work. When I called to have them fix it. They cNt. And they wanted to give a refund for $50 and I spend 2585 with all the equipment. Originally they wanted to charge $400 for the thermostat aloneNow is $50? For that, sounds like they scammed me. And now, its hard to know if they are true or not. So, be aware of the pricing. Thats all i can recommend

My family has used Ainsworth for a long time and install a couple of air conditioners in our homes. Time after time they continue to do amazing work and have the most professional technicians. I highly recommend if you need a new air conditioner that you call these guys! They will work with you!!!

Ainsworth AC has performed semi annual check / maintenance (Comfort Club) for I believe 9 or 10 years. The technicians that performed the checks are always very courteous, friendly and professional. If ever there is an issue they have always been very straightforward with what the issue is, explaining in detail (for me) what they recommend and any options if there are any. I just had Ainsworth provide a proposal for the replacement HVAC for my home. I felt very confident about proposal / choices that were offered were all very acceptable. I was never pressured to accept any particular one. I was allowed to choose what I thought was best for me.Man, I can smell those dozen or so cinnamon roles. Thank you Mr. Forest !!! Looking forward to the new HVAC system!

Justin Cooley (our initial technician) was very professional, able to quickly pinpoint the AC problem and offer some solutions; quickly check parts availability and provided follow-up. Later, Jason Warner came by to check and offer some great options. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful with regard to their systems. Both are a credit to Ainsworth.

AWESOME!! Answering service was very polite, informed us of evening rate, repairman called stating he was on his way. Repairman was there within 30 minutes, and the AC was blowing in in less than an hour. He gave us the amount upfront before he started working, which is always a great thing!! This is our second time using them, and we WILL NEVER use anyone else!! Not sure of the repairmans name, but he was very polite!! Thank you AINSWORTH!!!

We had Anisworth replace our whole home system about 2 years ago. Our electric bill went down and our house stays cold. The owner came out and did an assessment and showed us a few thing our home builder did wrong. We didn’t have enough square inches of return air grill space. So we where starving our system of air kind like choking it. We also did not have enough air vents you wouldn’t believe the air flow now. We also had the UV light system and our allergies have improved. The guys did an awesome job quality work and where very knowledgeable. Very happy with our new system.

Scheduled an appointment today 7/7/20 and gave the operator my cell phone and store number and asked the operator to contact the store when the tech arrives. The tech arrived called me and said i found problem but you will need to pay me over time if you would like to get it done today. So I called the dispatch lady to ask her why she would send the tech when he would just come look at the problem rather than fix it. The operator claimed that I did not know this was a business. I said maam I gave you my store number and told you the service was for my business. She apologized and accepted her mistake but I have angry customers in my store without air conditioning and my store is out of $150 for the tech to just come and tell me that my air conditioning is broken which i already know. I called to have the problem fixed.Secondly, the tech would not even give me a price quote for the repair, he claims that after hours his system goes down and cannot quote me a price. Which kind of seems odd and and feels like he going to scam me with a higher price tomorrow.

They did send someone out and they did get the drain for the ac unclogged. When he unclogged the drain for the ac it clogged up the drain for the sink. It shot muck all over the sink and floor. He didnt check the sink even though I told him it drained into the sink drain. So we were stuck trying to unclog the sink and clean up his mess. We were told it would cost about $90 and we were charged $165.25. They are too pricey for 15 minutes of work. We have decided that we will not be using this company anymore.

Called at 9:30am on a Saturday due to secondary drain lines leaking. Having never attempted to fix this clogged primary drain line myself, I called Ainsworth and they had a technician come out by 11am and make all corrections/repairs. Highly recommend!!

I called about 9:20pm and lady said a tech would call me back, 11pm came and i called…she apologized and said that they don’t service my area because I’m outisde 610 and they are in Baytown. I kept insisting I’m in Channelview neighbors to Baytown and basically I was a liar! I was willing to pay them $200 over $69 Channelview AC company charged me. I’m disappointed

Last month Nathan had to replace the blower in my attic. Super fast response and once issue was identified, he advised they have to order it. They were able to get it the next day and I feel they bent over backwards to help us!

I have used Ainsworth for the last 3-4 years, they handle all of my maintenance on my AC/Heat, they are very reliable, reasonably priced, but most of all trustworthy in a business where that is sometimes hard to find!

Horrible - the repair man said I needed $2000.00 + for repair. I fixed it in 2 hours. It was only the drain clogged. He said the unit had broke loose and he needed a crew to help reset it and they charged $250.00 per hour per man. While I was in the unit I cleaned the condenser. We paid $99.00, no $100.00 because he did not have change for him to say he could do nothing. I feel I was ripped off. Also the answering service they use is very rude. DO NOT USE !!!

Many years ago, our dinosaur system was not cooling well. A large company that I had a coupon for came out, said it couldnt be fixed, and gladly gave us a quote for a new system. I prefer to keep large purchases local, and luckily found an ad for Ainsworth A/C in my sons elementary school yearbook. Mr. Ainsworth came put, evaluated the system, cleaned the coils, and said he thought that it could probably limp along for a few more years. I recommend Ainsworth hands down. Dustin our Technician came out and serviced my AC and was so professional and did an outstanding job.

Called out Ainsworth. After the 500.00 bill told me I had a leak and needed more freon. Would cost more to find it. Two weeks later ac not cooling. Called out another companyto find out I had too much freon and no leak. Save your money and call someone else.

Laura Savage gave me a quote and was very informative and knowledgeable. She was patient and answered all of my questions I had. Laura was very professional and I enjoyed dealing with her.

I reached out to the company to inform them that my 90 year old grandmother was double billed for her AC service. This only came to my attention because I found her system leaking water 2 weeks after Ainsworth performed her annual maintenance. Unfortunately, they didn’t have anyone available who could help and to this day have still not called me back. Tanking advantage of the elderly isn’t good business!

I brought them out because my AC kept freezing over, and I thought I had a leak. The first time, they couldnt find a leak and just added Freon. After adding the Freon, the thermostat broke. They first claimed that it was already broken, and then told me theyd charge me $200 for a simple thermostat. I argued enough to convince them that they needed to replace the thermostat, which happened to be under warranty. $400 for the freon.The second time they came out, they told me that the AC normally cant get below 75 or so on a hot summer day.The third time they came out, they found a small leak on the king valve on the outside unit. They agreed to come back and fix it.The fourth time, they fixed the king valve, then the expansion valve mysteriously broke when they tried to restart the AC. They claimed this was just due to normal wear and tear, and these valves fail normally. They refused to claim responsibility for it breaking while they were working on the system, and charged me again for a new specialty part they had to order. $250 for the king valve.On the fifth visit, they finally installed the expansion valve and the system worked again. Its been working for about a month. For the amount of trouble we went through, I will be looking for a new company next time we have AC issues.
