Nick came and inspected the unit. The blower motor was not working and the company had the part available. They worked with my warranty and had the part installed same day. Grateful for having heat in my home and the professionalism of the company. I will definitely be recommending them.

Chip and Dale is professional, knowledgeable, and deliver quality service. That is why I have used them for many years. Most recently they were able to repair my 15 year old gas furnace, going out of their way to meet me to come out and help, because they didnt want us to be without heat at that critical time of extreme cold and snow.

2018 My husband and I had Chip & Dale install our Mini Split and it has been our best investment yet to keep our home comfortable at all times. We alternate between heat and cold air depending on our family and guest needs. We are having another one installed upstairs because it saves money and time getting comfort.

Chip N Dale replaced my entire central ac and heat and did a fine job at a reasonable cost. Installers were courteous and knowledgeable. Would use again.On Oct 3, I had a dead AC at my office. Mark came out promptly and I was worried it was going to be another new unit. After diagnosing the unit he determined my breaker was bad. My AC unit was 31 years old and he could have diagnosed it as toast. Mark was honest and had me back running in a hour.

First impressions are very important in business. Maybe someone should explain that to employees who answer the phone. After the person answered, I asked his name and he says why does it matter rather rudely and then chuckles about it. That was at 1038am today 1/22/25. Guess loss of business should matter. Reached out late Sunday afternoon and got a response very quickly. I received a text with an appointment time. Nick called in advance to confirm his arrival time. Nick did a very thorough inspection of my condensing unit and air handler. He found the problem and fixed it quickly. I found Nick to be very knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future.Nick is the first technician that did not try to sell me a new unit. You cant go wrong with them. Two days after my AC bit the dust two very professional gentlemen came in and installed a new system. They did a bang up job and took the time and care to do it right. I had a positive experience with the technician and found the maintenance pricing to be reasonable. However, I was charged $630 to replace a $100 drain pan, a task that took only 30 minutes. When I inquired about the hourly rate, I was told it was $95. I feel like I was overcharged and taken advantage of.

When our AC went out, I called Chip and Dale and Mark answered and he was so nice, but he couldn’t come out to our house until later in the afternoon. This was this past Saturday and it was hot in our house so we called a bigger company thinking they would have the parts available or able to get the parts quickly to fix it. I called Mark to let him know we called someone else and he was appreciative that we called him first and said thank you. Very polite! The other company’s tech came, was rude and couldn’t fix the problem until Monday. I called the other company Monday morning to talk to someone but they had to call me back. My gut said to call Mark back. I did and they fixed our AC (didn’t have to replace something that the other company said we would have to replace). Nick was very sweet. professional, and efficient. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and use them again!

Update! 2 years later and still the absolute BEST AC Repair in town! I will never use anyone else! Always fast and I cannot recommend enough!The BEST experience with any type of home repair that I have had to have! It was getting late on a Friday night, but still showed up to fix my AC! Ive used Chip & Dale A/C a few times so far. Had a mini split installed in my garage, blown in insulation, and a service call on my homes main unit. Thanks to the other reviewers, I too was fortunate enough to be able to call Chip and Dale to help fix my AC issue a few weeks ago. Mark came out, did the inspection, located the small leak, checked everything else to make sure there were no other issues, and charged us up to keep us cool to hold us over until they came back with the new evaporator coil two days later. The second day they came out, they had the entire system replaced in a short period of time (I forget the exact length, but it was much faster than I thought it was going to be.)They were all very nice, on time, called ahead, always kept me informed on what was going on/explained and answered all the questions I had and did a great job. Im writing this review to give a BIG thank you to Mark and Nick who did and outstanding job installing my condenser unit today. They went above and beyond to get this job done right the FISRT time. I had an additional problem on the inside with my TXV and Nick was super quick to diagnose the issue and replace the part to complete the install. Both guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Ive never used them before today and I highly recommend them and would love to use their service again in the future.

I came home tonight and realized my AC was not working. The first clue was the heat slapping my face as I opened the door. The second clue was my poor 75 pound dog left a lot of drool spots on the tile floor 😟.After troubleshooting and no luck, I called this company first, and I am glad I did.A person (Mark) answered the phone even though they close in like 5 minutes.Very quick response!Mark showed up in less than an hour (I wasnt really watching time.. might have been 30 minutes).He was very professional and courteous about my house being a mess.Mark did a thorough investigation. Spotted the problem, and tried to fix it without having to costly replace anything. Which was awesome because he was trying to save me money!Unfortunately, it was fried.The condenser fan motor had to be replaced.The cost was a relief! I called for an appointment first thing 7 am, Monday 11/21/2022. This call followed up after coming home to no heat the previous evening. And while assuming it was the thermostat and the average mechanical manual replacement of a mechanical thermostat, is going for about $300 - 350. And even more for the programmable type like Nest! The appointment was set between 11am and 1 pm the same day.Nick the tech called me around noon to say he was running a little late. However, he still got there about 1 pm and tested my home thermostat. He said my Pro thermostat sounded okay and he would go up in the attic to check out the furnace. He brought down shortly the original faulty ignitor and had to check his vehicle for any replacement part. And soon returned to say he did have one that fit my Goodman furnace. Cool. All in all $195 for part and labor. And he even wrote down the Goodman manufacturing date by request and the model # and serial number. Time invested was approximately one hour. Five stars.

The AC company they had hired for us originally kept putting us off to another day so we called him the day we were suppose to move in and he went the same day installed our AC unit and had it running, he even upgraded our unit for better quality and I still paid less than half of what the first company was going to charge me. He’s honest, goes out of his way to help out as much as he can and doesn’t over charge. Definitely recommend them.

Mark and his son both showed up at my house as scheduled and installed a complete new unit and made repairs to the poor job the previous company had done with my duct work. My husband came home this evening and noticed the a/c wasnt working. We took out the warranty and checked to see what was covered before calling. We got a nice warranty when Chip & Dale replaced ours 2 yrs ago. My husband called and he said he would come check it out. What we didnt know is he had just got home when we called. Adding to my original review. I recently hired Chip & Dale to perform a complete replacement of my entire downstairs air and heating system - ducts and all. This was an enormous job, lasting several days, and the work they did is excellent. This company arrives when promised and calls to maintain communication. The team is professional, tidy with their work, and clean up after themselves remarkably well. Great work - no regrets hiring them for this job!Original review - Excellent eye - conscientious and clean! Chip & Dale did a heating system review on my three home units and immediately found an issue with one that had resulted from a recent roof replacement. This will directly impact our familys safety when using this unit.

These guys did a great job and were very professional. We had a heater failure during the worst cold spell in 30 years and the responded the same day and had us warm and toasty in less than 24 hours. The owner Mark is a great guy that I have deal with professionally for almost 15yrs.

Its really nice when you can find someone who does high quality work without charging an arm and a leg. Mark came out the same day I called and got my AC going no problem. I will definitely be using chip & dale for any issues I have in the future.

My AC had started freezing up around May. The property manager recommended someone that they used for maintenance. The guy came out, cleaned the coils and charged the unit. The next day my AC ran all day and was blowing warm air. When I called the guy, he said maybe he had put too much freon and so he took some out. Unit ran pretty good until July. I knew I had to call someone but was very apprehensive. Based off of the reviews I took a chance and called Chip & Dale. Spoke to Mark and he said he would be out around 11:30a. Showed up on time. After taking him through previous experience, he checked out unit. He explained that coils on one side were cleaned but not the other. Living in a mobile home everything is somewhat different. So the coils can not be cleaned in place. He put a light under evap. coils and showed me that no light could be seen through the top. Meaning, underneath was completely clogged. Mark then cut the evaporator coil out, thoroughly cleaned, replaced and charged unit. I am so happy I went with this company and hope to use him from now on. I would recommend this company without a doubt and have told my friends and family, if they have ac problems, call Mark. Great service-professional and more than reasonable. Definitely 5 star.

Mark, was very professional. He was able to troubleshoot our obscure problem, which was that our Nest thermostat wasnt actually sending a signal to the outside unit. He did this quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call him again, if I ever have another AC issue.

I had hit one of the refrigerant lines on my outside unit while doing yard work. Nick came out and repaired the unit. Not only did he repair it but he repositioned the unit so I would not be able to get hit again very easily. He went above and beyond the original scope of work just to make sure we were taken care of. Mark came out diagnosed our heating problem & got us up and running just in time for the winter storm in Texas. He informed us of some other issues with our heating system that needed to be addressed. As soon as the winter storm in Texas was over & it was safe to do so Sam came to do the other repairs that Mark initially found. Sam was great he got everything fixed & was very professional.

We had a unique situation that was causing a swamp in my yard, anyone else couldve taken advantage of the situation and gouged us on the repair since it wasnt exactly found in any book! Mark came up with a fix and solved the problem all under 200 bucks! Fast fwd a couple weeks and I notice the house is hot and the AC isnt runnin! Called Chip & Dale yesterday to have my air conditioner unit charged. Since the R22 is getting so expensive, I decided to convert from old R22 to R438. He came out this morning and price was much lower than he quoted me. I felt he did an excellent job and had the best price in Baytown! Chip & Dale A/C is actually the second company I called after the first A/C Repairman failed to fix my problem. Mark fixed my A/C and charged a fair price. This review is 2 weeks after Mark repaired my A/C and everything has been good.

Ive lived in my home 10 years and have had multiple repairman service my AC , this is the first company to actually discover the problem, my coils were installed backwards. They were very professional and courteous and did a excellent job, Im a happy customer and would recommend to anyone.

This was a no brainer. Their price beat the competition easily. All other places wanted to charge an extra fee after 5. C&D didnt do that, as long as you booked the appointment ahead of time and it wasnt last minute. Also, the service fee that they charge goes toward the repair itself. Every other AC repair place I called charged a service fee just to come out and it didnt go toward the actual repairs.

These people are very honest, I thought I needed a new unit and they came in suggested cleaning the coil in the attic & outside coil as well. Well that did it!They also know their stuff, I have had a nagging problem with the a/c and I had two other reputable local A/C companies look at it recently and neither one could figure it out. Chip and Dale installed a time delay switch and now the problem is solved. I am a believer in Chip and Dale now!

Last summer we had a guy come out and look at our a.c. We feared the worst and thats what we got in return. A hole in our coil which was causing a massive freon leak.This week Mr. Mark A. Sharp came to check it out and GUESS WHAT?! No hole. No leak. Just a filthy filter that we had no idea was even there.If you want great honest service, Chip & Dale is the way to go! Will forever recommend them!

I called this company on the recommendation of my daughter and will absolutely call them again. They fixed my AC unit on a holiday weekend and were at my home within an hour of the call. Very reasonably priced and very professional.

These people are the best! Always courteous and straight forward with you about repairs and cost. They were able to fix a problem with my ac that another company installed and could never seem to find.

I was matched randomly with this business through an online AC unit vendor site but ended up being very happy with their service. Both times they were scheduled to come out they were on exactly on time, easy to communicate with and did quality work.

AC went out Fri. night. I called them Sat. AM and despite a very rainy day they came out, diagnosed the problem quickly, and repaired it cheaply. The tech. was friendly and a person who I had no problem letting into my home to work independently as necessary. Extremely satisfied customer here.

Called late at night after a very hot day, ac not starting up.mark said he was almost home from another call and would turn around and head our way. He was here in 40 minutes and had the parts to fix the problem . Will be telling everyone about his service.

We had a motor put in by them Our part that was replaced two months ago that was a motor . Is out again . For 3 days we have been in a 100 degree house. My children are staying with family now sincevthey would literally get sick from the heat . We paid over $340 and still needed to pay 40 bucks. Called to meet him and he was out of town. My husband called him when it went out and now he double it saying $85 is what we still owe? How is that and your not even going to come fix the part you installed and was suppose to be under warranty . So now 3 days later were stil in 102 degree house , and the man doesnt care.

Lighting had struck my house and blew a transformer and the motherboard in the AC unit. My Home Warranty couldnt get anyone to the house within 2 weeks. This is South TX in June! I called Chip&Dale Heating & AC. They showed up that night and had me back up and going!

Mark saved the day. The condenser fan blew apart. He salvaged the motor, replaced the fan, replaced the housing, and had me up and running again.
