Emergency AC of Austin

Ty was great, super knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I called this morning at 11:15a and they sent Ty out the same day and he arrived at 1:00p, which is incredibly fast. He noticed one issue that he fixed right away and we have a plan if it doesnt completely solve our problem. Fee was reasonable (especially considering the time it took him) and Im very happy with the service overall. Will definitely be using them again in the future if there are any issues.

James Maddox has tended to two of our service calls for our air conditioner problems. He is super helpful and answers all the questions that I have about our unit. Also he is straight forward with what the issue is and addresses how to fix it in a timely fashion.

The old Carrier AC was blowing hot air, again. So I called for several quotes for HVAC installation on Wednesday. John was willing to come around 7:30 pm to give me a good deal on Daikin 3 ton Gas Horizontal 15.2 seer2. He really takes great care of his customers and accommodates the best he could. He has scheduled Oscar and his crew for the installation starting at 9 am on Saturday. (Today) So I dont need to take the day off from work.Oscar and his crew came early and worked hard. They are easy to work with reliable skillset. They even cleanup afterward. I would strongly recommend Emergency AC of Austin for their quick and reliable services.[8/19/2024]Daikin was blowing hot air started on Sunday night. I contacted John on Monday around 9:20 am. Immediately, Byron has been scheduled to come around noon. Luckily, Byron came early to rescue. It turned out was the bad capacitor issue. Byron quickly replaced it. You guys are the best and the most reliable HVAC company around Austin![9/23/2024]I could smell cigarette in the house, even though no one was smoking. I called Emergency AC of Austin at around 9:30 am. Immediately, they arrange the technician, Roy Mathews, to come check around 11:00 am. Roy thoroughly checked HVAC unit at the attics and control panel, but didnt find anything was wrong. Since this is a condo, Roy explained that possible my neighbors were smoking. I really appreciated Roys professionalism! Im really glad to have Emergency AC of Austin to support any of my HVAC issues! Thanks you!

Byron was fast, processional, friendly, and only here for a short time. He got my AC up and running and my home was already substantially cooler by the time he pulled away. He also made sure to answer all questions and made sure we had no more questions or concerns before leaving. I would highly recommend!

I was going out of town on a Sunday and needed a smart thermostat to be up and running before I left. Emergency AC of Austin lived up to its name and went above and beyond to help finalize installation. My service technician was fantastic and would highly recommend their services in the future.

Roy was great. Price was fair. Lennox equipment. Same price as Carrier. Got 6 bids. Glad I chose them.Complete scope of work. Other cos didnt have the complete scope. Install crew appears to have done a good job. Experienced. This was a difficult job. Attic install with tight space. They came through. Good coordination with the office. Im telling you the best ever!Update one month after install: John was my sales person and when I first sat down with him I told him my upstairs never cools in one room and freezes in another. He advised me to update the duct system and add return air vents in every room! It was the best recommended advice I received from any other company. I have to say is in triple digit Temps my home is the most comfortable environment it has ever been in 30 years! My hub and I talk about how comfortable it is frequently so I just wanted to thank John! Just absolutely amazing!!!! The air in the home feels so refreshing too!!!

Ty was obviously very experienced because he was so knowledgeable. He was able to find the condensate lines for both units that 3 other technicians couldn’t—and with in 5 minutes! Gotta love this guy!

Ty was great. He pointed out the exhaust flu was disconnected and explained how he would fix it. He vacuumed out dust and cleaned up. My go to HVAC service!

We just got a new AC so I wasnt thrilled when I came home to it not working at 8 pm at night. But I was able to call, speak to someone and they sent over a technician right away. We had AC again before going to bed and I didnt have to take off work the next day to deal with it. I was amazed.

Emergency A/C is my future repair company of choice. I’ve had three other companies fail to fix my A/C. James M, (tech) did a stellar job. His thorough and procedural approach found the A/C bleeding out in the attic. He communicated and showed me the pics. He was clear and honest that he didn’t have the right sealants for the leak, but returned promptly on time the following day around my schedule. Outstanding. I’ll stick with Emergency A/C here in Round Rock.

Our neighbor referred us toEmergency AC of Austin. They were fantastic! Our AC stopped working overnight. They came the day we called. Byron was quick, friendly, and very helpful. It turns out we needed an item that was backordered and hard to find. They found it in Fort Worth and had it to us a few days later. He fixed it and it was in working condition when we returned home. Friendly, efficient, fair prices!!

My sales rep chris was an amazing guy. Customer service was A+++. Afew concerns came up after i stall but were immediatly addressed and resolved. Very disappointed. The guy James was trying to coax me to buy a new unit rather than add some gas to the current one. Shouldnt have trusted this company. When they say they can send within a couple of hour rest assured the guy wont fix the problem.

The process of choosing the HVAC components I needed showed that Emergency AC knew what they were doing.I changed my mind several times & they were patient with me and got back to me within about 5 minutes each time, even after hours.I was replacing an old system that had failed and they set up the install for the day after I stopped futzing around with making my decisions.I had 4 quotes and Emergency AC was the best value, although the others were not too much higher.And finally the installers were efficient and left things neat and tidy, they took less time than I expected, their workmanship looked good, even the caulking to seal entrances to the house for the compressor pipes was well done.

We had amazingly quick help, John called me as soon as I submitted an inquiry and sent me quotes for a new system within the hour, he was also adamant that they make sure a new unit was the right thing to do. Sam came out as a second opinion for our HVAC unit and was super thorough. They installed a new system the next day, great price and brand. Also had them at our mothers house the next day, where we received a quote from a different company for parts replacement, but were recommended to get a new system also. Sam went out there and found that emergency heat needed to be turned on, and no additional fixes were necessary. My family had no ac in this already hot texas summer.our credit is not amazing we were having problems getting financing then in came emergency ac. They got us approved and installed in 4 days. The install was fast and the workers were very professional. Even when we had a small issue they came.out and fixed it next day. I recommend them to everyone

Sam and Chris came to my home to install a new HVAC for me. They were on time and very courteous and friendly. They covered my carpet with paper to protect it from their shoes because they were coming in and out of the house. Completed the entire installation in just over 5 hours. They showed me how the new thermostat works. They also made sure to remind me to change the filter every month. Left the work area’s clean and were the perfect men to do this job . I give a ASAA plus to them and a AAA plus to emergency AC. Emergency AC also had the lowest quote out of 4 quotes I received and I had a Carrier system installed. A company with a history of quality equipment. No short cuts. Great price for quality equipment. Highly recommend emergency AC. 100 percent

Tech came in. Looked at the system for two minutes, not even bothering checking outside and claimed an expensive part of it needed to be replaced.I asked well what if that doesn’t fix the problem what if it’s something else. He said that would need to be fixed first to see.Other people that came to diagnose the problem tried multiple methods of fixing the problem. When they couldn’t figure out they waived the 90 dollar diagnosis fee. They were there for two hours.The lack of information, diagnosis, and sense of assuredness despite doing nothing made this company come off as callous and untrustworthy. Plus he made me feel uncomfortable when I said I had already paid and he thought I had not, he came off aggressive.Seems like these guys just wanted money my money as fast as possible, not to fix a problem. It seemed he only schemed to make more money with his supposed fix.

I can’t say enough good things about everyone with this company! Our AC wasn’t cooling the house and being 38 weeks pregnant, it felt like 100 degrees. They came out same morning and figured out it was the breaker super quickly. I am SO grateful to John who sold us the unit, Sam who came out today and the owner who helped it all happen! Lively people...last week they installed a new system upstairs and they did a wonderful job..so when our downstairs unit went out for the 4th time in 3 weeks, we called emergency ac..wow! A reasonable service call fee, and they were kind enough to squeeze me in same day. Sam was able to diagnose the problem. And while he couldnt fix it as the part needs ordered, he assured me theyd get on it first thing in the am.

The blower motor on my downstairs AC went out and my system froze up. Emergency AC was very quick to respond and diagnose the problem. Once they determined what the problem was, it was only hours for the tech to get the needed part and install it at a fair price. Amazing service in this 100 plus degree heat!
