Jose and Guillermo So these two guys came to my house to replace my water heater. They did a superb job. They were very professional and courtesy. They explained the operation of the new water heater. They came into the house and checked to ensure the bathtubs water was drained from debris. They are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Couldn’t have asked for any other guys to do this job. They wasted no time getting this heater reinstalled up and operational. They deserve ten stars ⭐️. Thanks Jose and Guillermo for an outstanding job.

Called ARS when we had a clogged pipe in our master bath that was backing up into shower, tub and toilet. From the first phone call to the job completion, the whole team was professional, communication was top notch and Miguel, our tech, was very knowledgeable and worked very fast. They came out on Sunday, did not charge a weekend fee and the bill was very reasonable. I would highly recommend. I will continue to use ARS for any future plumbing needs.

Booked the service through Home Depot, guy was here to repair a HVAC. I know the issue was very small since the unit is just 2 year old, worked on the issue for 1-2 hours and changed a $35 part and charged $530. I would rather buy a new portable AC for $350. Don’t get scammed ask for quote and better avoid them

Employee was on time and took proper measures when in my home. After his inspection, he discussed what he had found with me Which was a halo unit that was not working. I discussed this with their office. He was knowledgeable about the AC unit. And heater and changed filters and requested that I do the same for my stealing filters. Discussed the halo unit not working, which I called the home office to get further estimates. He was very professional and seem knowledgeable in his field was very comfortable with him being in my home and working on my air-conditioning heating unit.

Jose and Guillermo did a great job! The installation was a little more involved than normal but they had great attitudes and installed the water heater cleanly. I price checked and if you do the one year labor warranty and purchase the equipment yourself, it is comparable to other companies that I checked.

Miguel and Jacob did an amazing job cleaning out our kitchen drain. We had a clog that kept coming back and they cleared it for us. Miguel is very knowledgeable and professional, talked me through my options, and was very courteous (they even wore foot covers in the home!). I will call ARS again if we need more plumbing work done.

Annual inspection at just the right time, revealed a coolant leak in the core of the air handler. To repair would be almost 5 grand.rest of the unit is 10 years old. Going to speak with a sales person and see about a new unit. The technician Dave was very informative about the problem and the best option. Also a really nice guy!

Don’t work with this company! My HVAC unit worked well for years until I had a tune-up from this company a few months ago, and then all of a sudden the heating stopped working. Seems very suspicious… I then called them to mention the issue to see if they could resolve it, assuming they may have caused the issue in their “tune-up”. They charged me for another visit so that they could diagnose the issue, and then gave me a quote for 3 parts + labor they say are needed. I asked if I could buy the parts and simply pay them for the labor, and they responded saying they don’t do that. I looked up the total cost of the 3 parts on Amazon, and they’re under $300 total, compared to the quote from ARS which was $3,600! I asked the guy how long it would take for him to install the 3 parts, and he said about 2 hours, which shows they tried to mark up the parts by over 10x just for 2 hours of work + their profit. Would not recommend…

These guys came out as part of a HVAC tune-up promotion that Home Depot was offering. Technician was super kind and seemed (key word) to be very knowledgeable but, our AC no longer blows cool air after the very first time trying our AC. Everything was cooling just fine before.Edit:After headache with getting a hold of someone that would make notes and set into action a plan to fix the issue, we eventually got a resolution and they were very reasonable.-the issues themselves seem to be stemming from the call center they have. Caused a lot of frustration with not following through on what they said they would do but ultimately the core team at ARS did a good job.

I had two appointments with this company.The first appointment was to get a quote to insulate above my garage. I made sure this is what I wanted and they still made an appointment for me. When the rep came out she told me they wouldn’t be able to insulate above the garage because it’s a fire hazard. Then preceded by trying to sell my on a Mini split A/C unit.The second appointment I had was to install a soft start. Every conversation I had with this company over the phone I said I wanted a soft start and never mentioned a surge protector for my A/C unit. The technician showed up around 1 pm and didn’t have the part in his vehicle even though I told him over the phone before he arrived that the appointment was to install a soft start. He told me that he would have to go find the part. He didn’t get back to my house until 6:30 pm the same day to install the part.For anyone going with this company make sure you be firm with what you want because even though they do a good job once they finally start working they will try to sell you something different then what you wanted done with the house

We had a problem with our heater turning on and Roy Roberts from ARS came out and checked it out for us. He went ahead and checked over everything and checked all the safety measures to make sure everything was working properly and explained it all to us start to finish so that we understood what was going on with the heater. This is probably one of the best experiences I’ve had with ARS And their service technicians, He went above and beyond. I will definitely be asking for Roy Roberts again Should I need a heating Technician again in the future

This story begins with me installing new LVP flooring and drilling into the concrete slab to install anchors for a transition piece. Well I drilled right into a water line. I knew the fix wasnt going to be easy or cheap, and I was without water. I called a few other places on the night of this happening and they didnt even bother to call me the next morning to follow up. I then went with ARS on the recommendation of a coworker who works in the industry. They promptly dispatched John C. John was cordial, explained the process, and was upfront about the cost. He worked to chip through the concrete and find the hole I accidentally drilled. He also confirmed my suspicions that this pipe was WAY too shallow when the house was built. Furthermore, he took care of my concerns about the tile being damaged in the process and even used hand tools as needed. Everything went as planned, and I was hooked back up with water in about 3-4 hours. ARS price came in at half of a local big competitor that had some goofy subscription plan they tried to sell me to lower the price. John deserves praise for his work, and I would trust him with all of my plumbing needs moving forward.

I would not recommend ARS. Shady charges and poor customer support, but skilled and polite technicians which is why 2 stars and not 1. Company tried to charge a minimum of 2hrs at a rate of $675/hr - for $1350. The minimum included the guys going to get the tool on a trailer from the shop, so you are paying $675/hr for two guys to drive to the company shop and then drive back. That seems outrageous to me, and when I called the office to give that feedback the customer support person said they charge that much because they’ve been in business for a long time, and that rate is good because I would be able to call and speak to someone unlike other plumbing companies.

The heating system in my rental property was malfunctioning, so I scheduled an appointment with ARS/Rescue Rooter. through the Home Depot Service platform. After scheduling with Home Depot platform, I received calls from three different groups to confirm the appointment, which was extremely confusing and chaotic.When the technician arrived, they said the fuse needed to be replaced. Two days after the replacement, the system started blowing hot air even with the thermostat turned off, and there was no cold air when it was turned on. I contacted the Service team again, and initially, a representative helped me schedule another repair. However, a female customer service agent later called me, rudely stated that the issue had already been resolved, and canceled the scheduled appointment. Shockingly, she hung up on me mid-sentence.Its absolutely appalling to receive such abysmal service from a company as large and supposedly reputable as ARS. Their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and sheer lack of professionalism is beyond unacceptable. If I could, I would rate this experience with zero stars. I will certainly never trust them with my property again and strongly advise others to steer clear of their so-called services.By the way, They charged $109 for service fee and promise send invoice at same day. I havent received invoice till now (2 days after).

So many red flags. Glad I got a 2nd and third look. Had to call because the blower was going out on HVAC system. The company sent out a guy to look at it, who confirms it’s the blower, but constantly suggested replacing the entire system including the dampers, almost as if he was planting seeds of worry. The tech leaves stating the next tech will give a quote. The second guy comes out who is clearly sales person, arrogantly trying to trap us into replacing the entire HVAC system with a BS “state of the art equipment” line and an egotistical trust speech quoting over 12K, which includes military discount, yeah right. He faked calls to his supervisor to negotiate the price down, but he had to go to truck to do this. He did not realize I could hear parts of his conversation when he finally made a call in front of us to schedule with an actual technician. He tried everything to prevent us from getting a second opinion. My spouse and I agreed it felt scammy. He was not the tech who could do the job. We would have to wait on a third tech, who could not meet the proposed time and each time they were unavailable. The rep stated that they had to go pick up the parts even though it was way past the window to arrive. We decided not go with the company and found a more trustworthy competitor. When my husband made the call the guy asked to speak to me, as though he was going to get me in line. My husband made it clear he doesn’t need anyone to speak to me. We made a decision. The salesman made snarky remark about his feelings not being hurt.

First, let me say that Arturo, our technician, gets a solid 5 stars for his thoroughness, politeness and speed.However, the fact that dispatch didn’t alert us that we would not have a technician arrive between 8am-12 pm as was scheduled nearly 3 weeks ago was very frustrating as a member who pays $25 a month. We wouldn’t have minded the delay if THEY would have called US to inform us ahead of time. We had to make 2 phone calls and finally request a supervisor to get anyone to call us back. The technician arrived at 4:00.

I am very please with David Todd inspection visit to my house to confirmed my concerns about some technical issues I recently became aware of on the newly installed HVAC system by ARS. The purpose of the was to corroborate some technical issues with the installation of the outside unit.1. Too close to the wall.2. Directly in front of the exhaust of my dryer; this is causing lint buildup on top of the unit hardware and side walls.3. The unit is shifting to the edge of the plastic platform it sits on. It is too close to the edges thus causing friction to the pipes and electrical wiring.These are the three main concerns David identified during his visit. He was very concerned and took photos of my concerns as a home owner. He prepared a detailed report complemented with pictures and informed me that the report will go to an ASR representative who will review the report and make a decision. David made me feel comfortable in the sense that his report will be taken seriously by his higher ups thus prompting action and rectifying the technical issues to my initial complaint.

We are on a plan with ARS where they come out twice a year to check on our HVAC units. When they came a few weeks ago, they discovered a huge leak in our plenum which was causing us to lose heat, use our unit more and have huge electric bills! Jeremy, the tech who came out to do the check gave us a quote on replacing the plenum, cleaning the blower wheel, and other services that would make our system more efficient.I scheduled the service, and a few days later, technicians Michael Barrera and Jason DeBose came out and did the work. They did a fabulous job of rebuilding the plenum and and redirecting the duct. They were very thorough in explaining about the importance of clean filters, and I learned things about my unit I didnt know. They were super helpful and really seemed to be enjoying their jobs. I value good customer service a lot and I definitely feel like I got it at ARS. I highly recommend.

Well it took a bit to get here, BUT we made it. we were having continuous problems with our heater system...no one could figure it out! lots of cold nights..but then Roy Robert showed up! with his expert eye and years of experience Roy quickly recognized an obscure problem no body else could see. Called and stated the A/C drain line is clogged. The tech came to the house saying it was going to take about an hour and the cost is going to be 425.00 with discounts deducted. Then the tech said he had to go get the tools to do the job. They ended up sending a second tech. My main issue there were no parts needed and they charged me 425.00 for about 45 minutes of work. I have used them for new A/C new hot water heater and other work. Needless to say they have lost a customer and I will no longer recommend them.

Scheduled a time to have my ac looked at. Was given the windows 6pm to 9pm. No problem. Waited all day. Got a call at 5:30 that someone was going to be able to come early and then they never showed. Tried to call and their office must have been closed cause they werent answering. I called this morning to see what happened and just said they couldnt get anyone out here for 3 more days. Dont waste your time. They dont show up.They got in contact with me and got someone out first thing in the morning. So i gave them a 2nd chance. They showed up this time. Told me they couldnt touch my system cause it was leaning. Charged me $109 to do absolutely nothing. Like literally nothing. They came in saw it, said nope and charged me. Then sent a 3rd guy to try and sell me a $13000 system insisting I needed new shit. So I told them Ill think on it and called someone else for a 2nd opinion. My A.C. is now running and further repairs will cost a fraction of the price they quoted me. They made grand assumptions about what was wrong. Didnt even bother to check. Dont waste your time.

They were supposed to come out Friday after 4:30 pm. We waited and waited and then was told that the technician experienced vehicle problems. So we rescheduled to Saturday for 8 am - 12 pm. We made sure to stay and wait. We waited all morning only to receive a call from Jerome at 11:30 to ask us our issue (breaker tripping) and then proceed to give us estimates of installation with a 6 yr. He asked if we had a Lowes card, if we had a balance and the options of using our card (which was the make monthly payments with 5% off or pay it all at once…a given). We could have done this by phone in the first place or in store at go. You wait at home for them to call you on your cell to tell you your options. What is the point of scheduling a home estimate? This was ridiculous. Hard pass.

Oh WOW are these folks a hot mess!I scheduled an AC/furnace tuneup through their in-store partnership with Home Depot. In the following days, I got multiple voicemails asking me to call back if I wanted an earlier time slot. Although I did not respond, my appointment was rescheduled anyway AND I was never informed, resulting in someone showing up when I wasn’t home.At my actual appointment time, there was a knock on my door as scheduled. Yay! BUT my visitor was surprised that I expected a tuneup because he’s a sale rep who’s come to give me an estimate on HVAC replacement. Upon learning that my system is only 5 years old, he called his supervisor. It did not occur to either of them to help make arrangements for my tuneup.The sales rep mentioned that ARS Rescue Rooter recently ramp up their hiring. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like new employee training and operational procedures have kept pace. Their technology platform is sketchy, too. Hours after the sales rep’s departure, I received a text message saying he’s en route. I would not recommend calling these guys for any kind of service.

The only reason for two stars is because of how nice Richard and the installers are. Other than that, I’m very disappointed in the experience I’ve had with ARS. The unit was installed on Friday morning by two very nice men who did go above and beyond. When the installers were about to leave, I asked, “How do I know it’ll work?” They assured me that it would once electricity was run to the unit. With prior life experiences, I was skeptical, but hoped that it would be done and I could used the unit in the evening. They also needed to sign their document but the amount was wrong on that, and they had to call to get that corrected. Okay, no biggie, it was corrected, signed, and they were on their way. The electrician came out that afternoon to get power to the unit. When they went to leave they said they didn’t really know how the unit runs as they just do electrical work. By this time it was early evening. I messed with the remote, and it does have power. I was able to get the air to blow, but need heat and nothing happened on that setting. I looked through the owners manual to see if I missed something. No, the heat isn’t working. I called ARS and they said they can send a technician out that night. He was a technician, but according to him not an expert. He had installed many, but wasn’t familiar with one like I have and that a more senior technician would need to give another look. I asked, “It will get fixed, right?” He said yes. Saturday comes, the technician shows up. He ALSO doesn’t have experience with this kind of mini split. When dispatch called to make ANOTHER appointment, she said they were so busy that she didn’t realize it was a mini split and didn’t arrange for the proper technician to come out. I even said on my call to them that it was a new mini split that had been installed. So, she didn’t do her research AND didn’t listen to the needs of the customer. Yes, I was angry and frustrated because I spent a lot of money on an item I can’t use. She said it wasn’t the responsibility of dispatch and couldn’t state for sure that it would be fixed, but scheduled ANOTHER appointment for Monday morning (tomorrow). I asked just who is responsible and she said the manufacturer…seriously? You’d think they would have gotten another unit out and installed and made sure it worked. But no…I have to wait at least another day, maybe more, if the technician comes out tomorrow and says, he doesn’t know what’s wrong with it. I do not recommend ARS at this time. Maybe they will make it right. But for now, I’m extremely disappointed. They are the company that Home Depot (HD) has contracted with to do installation for them. I think I need to let HD know.

I have used ARS for my a/c work, and even had a Reme Halo installed earlier this year, but I needed an outside faucet leak repaired and their prices were ridiculously high. My plumber charges $225/hr and it would have been half the price to use him. It took less than 45 minutes to repair. Since I had waited over 4 hours for them to arrive, it being their last call on a Friday, and my faucet still leaking, I didnt have much of a choice, I had it repaired. I could have paid my plumber for 2 hrs. of work and still been cheaper than what they charged. They did a good job, but I will Never use ARS again for any plumbing issues!

I feel CS should be informed if the Tech is running late or management should call the customer if the Tech is running behind. That way the can plan their day. Better yet the customer should have to keep calling for an update.

Service was timely. Technician was knowledgeable and nice. Replace probably $30 in pipes due to some corrosion, basically the four pieces shown in photo. Took less than an hour. Cost $600.00. Not sure how much this should cost but seems pretty expensive. Cant imagine the cost had the job taken two to three times as long. If I didnt need hot water tonight I would have got another estimate. Next time I will try someone else.UPDATE: Response to your ResponseI think we have different ideas of what Premium service is.. Your tech showed up within the 8 hour window I was given. He arrived with the tools and the talent to fix the problem. I wouldnt call these Premium expectations. Maybe if he would have brought coffee and donuts.. The only premium I see was the price for this service call. Its winter and I need hot water and you took advantage of that. Since Im such a Premium Customer you could have called me directly as I am in your system and have been for years. But now you can respond to the BBB complaint I filed for your predatory pricing.

Yesterday, a rep dropped by to give a quote for water heater replacement *labor only*. The quote was for $3807 (not including the cost of purchasing the water heater). This company is taking advantage of people who dont know any better.Context: The replacement is for a first floor, outdoor access water closet from the driveway. We already purchased and brought the water heater home. The job involves ~ 2 hours of labor to move the water heather into the closet and solder two copper lines.We did it ourselves last night (to code) for the cost of materials and have hot running water again and still have ~$3800 in our pockets. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

The technicians were great but scheduling was terrible. I set up a date for our routine check up—no show. Then they called asking to set up a checkup. I told them that we had an appt. but they didn’t show. Finally Another date was scheduled. He was an hour late without a courtesy call that they were running late. He told us we needed to fix the heater for $2100 but he would call on Monday once he checked the warranty. No call! One week later—another call to schedule a routine check up. I went through the whole frustrating story. The operator put me on hold and returned to say a manager/supervisor would call me. NO CALL! Another call for “do you want to set up a routine check up?” Oh for Pete’s sake!!! Finally a call about the warranty—it ran out(of course). We’re sending a technician to explain your options! Now the suggestion is to replace the whole thing! $4,000+. We set up a time to install it. (They said it should take 3 hours). The scheduled time was 11:00 and they came at 1:00. They installed it in one hour! No courtesy call—I had to call to get the ball rolling. The scheduling staff acted like there was no communication between them and what was happening. I must have received 10+ calls to set up a routine check up during this whole nightmare!

I’ve used ARS to convert my two water tanks to a tankless system as well as some general plumbing issues around the house. They are always so nice, informative and happy to explain the process. This past time my technician was Miguel. Such a nice guy! I’d highly recommend this company to everyone.

Would give zero stars if I could! Meat and Potatoes: We had an appt and stayed around the house only to have them NEVER SHOW UP. I was introduced to this company from Home Depot. The sales man was great and really showed how good the company and their work was. Even though it was a fair bit more expensive we went with it due to the great salesman. But the work and service did not match what we were told!The guys were nice and fast but we paid for all of our ducts to be replaces fully insulated. I told the sails guy things to lookout for and he said his crew would do that and agreed on this. They did not! I had to go up into my attic and check myself as I felt something was off. When I went up there I found that the things we agreed to were not done. 3 of my ducts were not replaced, even had a hole in it! They secured their crawl boards on top of the electrical line, which you do not do!!They double stacked the ducts on one hanger so one was crushed down to 75% air flow so my sons room is hotter than it was earlier before I paid them $7000.00 for this.There was fiber glass on the carpet they left.I called the salesman and went over this first visit to replace the ducts. He scheduled a crew to replace the missed ducts.I then poked my head up there and saw the restricted ducting as my son needed fans to sleep.I called and left another message. I was called back and they asked for pictures. I emailed these. I was told it would be fixed. Weeks went by, no calls or scheduling to fix it.I called again when I found another problem after the insulation was pumped in. I was told again that they would schedule this and the date and time. No one called or came out. Now Im pretty upset and it takes a lot for me to leave a bad review so I called again. Left a message no response!So we had this work done in May and its July still not fixed and I know have to go up in the hot attic and fix their work. Pay for the things they covered with insulation, but where supposed to be collected and put in a box per the agreement. I dont know what else I will find.But very disappointed and for the normal home owner who does not crawl up in the attic to inspect these guys work I feel bad as they dont know what the are not doing even though paid for and a lot!!!!They said all their work is guaranteed but you cant get them out to fix their work!

A/C went down on Monday. Called ARS and tech came out Monday around 8pm. Stated Compressor shot. And, because inside and outside units ran on outdated R-22 refrigerant, whole system needed to be replaced to current requirements. Comfort Advisor came out that evening to show us options. We chose a system. (We were told the new system would qualify for $2000 federal tax rebate). After installation, we did research and discovered our new system probably does Not qualify. Our system SEER2 has 14.3 rating and to qualify it supposedly requires equal to or greater than 17 rating. But...the ratings have changed every year recently...so understandable mistake. The installation team arrived on time and the removal of old and installation of new was completed in around 3 hours as stated.Follow-up inspection and electrical work done in friendly and timely manner. Overall...the work was completed timely and home is cool.

Per their Google response, I reached out to them via text and I’ve called about five times over the last week and have left voicemails all times and I’ve yet to speak with someone from ARS. The VM for the HVAC manager says he’s out until 9/9, but we’re a week past that date now... Terrible customer service!DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! Id give them zero stars, if I could.I had a leak in my home coming from the AC unit and I worked with a technician from ARS who seemed disgruntled that he was working (the tech told me, verbatim, Do you have days where you know you shouldnt have gotten out of bed? Thats today for me.), unknowledgeable about the repairs needed, and tried to upcharge me.After maybe 5-10 minutes of him looking at my system, he told me I had two leaks. The first leak, he informed me he could repair then and there and would cost $350 because he needed to install an airflow switch. I asked him for pricing without the airflow switch and just to repair the leak and he told he would not service the system without installing the airflow switch. I dont appreciate the tech trying to force a service/repair onto me by telling me he couldnt repair the leak without the install of something else.The second leak he mentioned, he informed me that he couldnt complete the repairs because I would have to pull out the entire AC system from the AC closet to repair the leak. You can imagine how costly this sounds and sent me into a panic. Due to this I decided to get a second opinion from another reputable company in Austin. The second opinion came and informed me that I did not need any of the repairs/recommendations provided by ARS and was able to repair the leaks without installing an air flow switch or pulling out the AC system.I called ARS THREE times to discuss my experience and to request a refund due to the unknowledgeable technician and the false recommendations for repairs. The first two times, I was told I would receive a call back within 24 hours but received nothing. On the third call, I did received a call back from their customer service manager, Renee. I spoke with her and told her that the leak was fixed by another company and she asked for the invoice. I informed her I did not have one and she proceeded to CHASTISE me about how if anything goes wrong that it would be my problem because I didnt have an invoice. Regardless of whether or not something goes wrong with the second company, that is on me to handle and was UNPROFESSIONAL of her to chastise me about it. Overall, she was RUDE and spoke to me in an aggressive manner as if I did something wrong after I explained the situation to her. I pointed this out to her and she provided a half-ass apology of Sorry, if you feel that I was rude.Overall, ARS has horrible service, unknowledgeable technicians and is unprofessional. If you need repairs done, I recommend calling anyone else, but not ARS.

We needed multiple things done in our home like replacing our shower head and knob as well as a water heater and our kitchen sink faucet. 1st of all the guy who we scheduled all the services COLLIN said we can send photos of our replacements and he would tell us if it would fit. We bought the items only for the day of the other technicians told us that they were wrong and we needed to buy other parts. That’s fine we bought them and they fixed the sink. The water heater was fine as well only that they DAMAGED my flooring and left without saying anything. The most frustrating part was the shower. He approved it and yet the technicians couldn’t install it. I drove an hour to find the part. JAMES came and tried to install it and said we needed to just replace the whole valve or find the missing part to make it work. I asked if he could help and he told me we would have to pay $350 an hour for a part he may not even find. In the end I used the parts and installed it myself because when I went to multiple plumbing stores the part that we “needed” didn’t exist. The replacement part I got worked fine without it. We ended up just replacing the shower knob ourselves and it was easy. They were trying to upsell us a whole shower replacement. Keep in mind I bought a UNIVERSAL shower replacement kit. The service person said I owed the maintenance fee and I showed the receipt where I had paid for it. obviously, the accounting department had not given him the proper information. Repeated bad experiences. After buying a whole new air conditioning and furnace with them, they emphasize the 10 year warranty and when your AC has problems, they say on the phone that you won’t have to pay anyone to come look at it - however, when the technician calls you, they say that it will cost $109 just for them to look at it and then when you push back because the dispatch told you otherwise, they say the dispatch was mistaken: the warranty doesn’t cover someone coming out to see what’s wrong with the AC you bought from them. Then when they do show up, they immediately try to charge you $400 to “flush the system” on top of the $109 they said you didn’t have to pay initially. The warranty is basically good for nothing unless the AC unit parts have to be replaced, which they never recommend. They always just try to sell an entire new system. But they’ll up charge you for “mold” UV lights or other things that prevent parts breaking. So they try to get you to do things that are not part of the warranty. You end up dishing out over $1k repeatedly just to keep the AC on during the summer. One technician even had the gall to say “well, that’s the price and you’ll have to pay it unless you want your family to not have air conditioning during the summer.”

I had an extremely disappointing experience with ARS Rescue Rooter. They installed a tankless water heater for me but failed to provide an itemized receipt despite repeated requests. This lack of transparency was concerning right from the start.Immediately after installation, I noticed my showers were not producing hot water as they should. I was assured that someone would come first thing the next morning to address the issue, but no one bothered to call or show up. When I tried contacting the representative, there was no response to my calls or texts.Frustrated, I called customer service directly, only to find out that there were no notes or records of a scheduled service call in my file. Eventually, when someone did show up, they had the audacity to claim it would cost an additional $2,000 to fix the showers properly. Its worth noting that my showers were functioning perfectly fine before ARS installed the water heater.This entire experience reeks of incompetence and dishonesty. ARS Rescue Rooter not only failed to deliver on their promises but also created new problems and then tried to charge exorbitantly to fix them. I would strongly caution anyone considering their services to think twice. Buyer beware—this companys lack of professionalism and integrity is appalling.

I am so sick of this company. I bought an $8000 AC a few years back. Then I had them fix a damper problem this winter. Guess what has not been working right all hot summer long. I had them out once to fix the fix, and they tried blaming me for calling them. That its supposed to be several degrees warmer downstairs. Bull!!!! I suggest calling a friend before calling these guys.

We had a terrible experience with this company. We had a toilet overflow and when we checked the sewer clean out found a mass of roots which we pulled out. We expected the ARS technician to quote us on removing the remaining blockage but he was more interested in selling us pipe replacement through a personal contact. Which he said would cost big money.The technicians manner was rude and chauvinistic.

What a joke of a company. All they want to do is make money. I had a tech come out because I was told by another company that the HVAC unit ARS installed was installed incorrectly. I made an appointment for a tech to come out and check it out. They no showed the appointment twice then showed up a day late. After the first no show appointment a tech called and told me (without looking at the system) that there was no way it was installed incorrectly and he was going to charge me for getting in my attic because it was too hot - I was already told there would be no charge since they werent diagnosing anything. I called 4 separate times to talk to a manager about the way I was treated and told they would call me back that evening. It has been over a week with no call. I wish I never chose them to install my system in the first place. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ARS!!!!

However, I later received an invoice with an unexpected $300 charge more. This experience has been a total waste of time. I do NOT recommend this company, as the customer representative was also extremely rude.

The AC rep showed but the electrician never did, we had two issues. Our window was between 10-2pm, they kept trying to push it back until 4pm. I, in turn, had to cancel meetings for someone that was never coming. The AC still has repairs to finish and ARS never got in touch about the electrician. If you value your time, don’t use ARS.

ARS, I completed my consultation on Sunday, 29 Oct 23, with patience, not rushed, everything fully explained, and went over the full process of what to expect for my project. I accepted the plan, labor, and parts warranty that comes with purchase, other options, and upgrades were offered to ensure I had the best options for my budget. The next day installation was completed on 30 Oct 23. They completed my entire AC replacement in a timely manner. ARS team was very polite, explaining my new system. Walk me through preventative maintenance measurements to keep my system running like new over time. The guys went over how to use my new thermostat, how to flush ducts, and how and when to change my filters. They even mentioned that ARS offers their customers an option for extended warranty pass the 10-year warranty, and option for home yearly service for a small fee. They treated my home with care like it was their own, even cleaned up after themselves and disposed of the old unit. I also received a military discount. On behalf of all service members and veterans, we are appreciative of that offer. If your trying to make a decision, on whom you will choose to service your needs dont hesitate any further , ARS is the team you want on your next project, my experience was white glove service.

Awful experience. I had called on Monday for a simple issue regarding a small crack on a pvc pipe as part of my irrigation line. I decided to use ARS as the solution because I’ve had a great experience with them in the past, but it took them until Friday to get out here (after getting rescheduled on a daily basis), and when the tech took a look at the issue I was given a quote of $1,300. My opinion of a company has never done a 180 so quickly, and I’ll be sure to look elsewhere for my future needs.

Paid $15k for a new AC, install went great. Now they wont stop calling, texting, and emailing me. Ive requested they not contact me anymore, but its not been respected so Ive just had to block them on all fronts. Even with them blocked though they still leave messages. Hopefully they fix this privacy issue soonAnother robo call today, 9 months later. The circus never ends.Contacted manager to get on no-contact list didnt work, still receiving calls. Theres an appearance that they have zero control over the robo-call process.

ARS Rescue Rooter has never failed to impress. They are not cheap, but they are on time, and if no repairs are needed they tell you that no repairs are needed. Moreover, their techs will also advise you on how to best care for your equipment between their visits so you dont rack up costly maintenance repairs.

Very quick response when my HVAC had a slight problem starting the other day. Even though the problem did not return after the first time.I was overdue for a checkup so I continued with the service.For a very reasonable price the technician checked the system, said I really didnt need a new capacitor or contactor. Then he completely washed off the condenser coils outside and checked the air handler inside.ARS did the initial installation of this system (ordered via Home Depot) in 2019 and it has worked extremely well since then. This 1800 SF home is kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter better than any of my houses (9 of them) over the years.

As a single homeowner (as ANY homeowner), it is imperative that I can trust a company to not only give me an accurate diagnosis but also to be able to understand what Im asking for in a repair. Our initial call was for a problem we had with installing a new thermostat; our compressor, blower and fans were all working. Aside from the fact that ARS was a complete no-show on July 9th (they said after the fact that this was due to the Spectrum internet outage but never contacted us to actually cancel), the technician did not listen to our request to check the wiring from the attic to our thermostat. He focused instead on our still-functioning outdoor unit and our blower motor, neither of which were the issue as is evidenced by the repairs actually completed later in the day by a completely different company. The technician said that he found oil leaking under our blower motor and said he would attach photos of this to the quote (he did not provide these photos because it turns out there WAS no oil leaking under our blower motor). When asked if he could at least install a fuse between our control board and our transformer, he said this wasnt needed because the control board had a fuse on it already. I walked with him up to the attic and asked him to show me where the fuse was and he couldnt find a fuse, finally admitting that this particular control board didnt have a fuse. Later that afternoon, we called another local company to come out. In the same amount of time (roughly one hour) that ARS took to NOT diagnose our actual problem, this other company trouble-shot, CORRECTLY diagnosed, repaired AND installed our new thermostat. The whole house was cool again by bedtime for only $6 more than ARS charged to do absolutely nothing. Based on this experience, I can not recommend ARS as a trustworthy company.

I found out my water heater had a slow leak. I knew which water heater I wanted as a replacement. When I went to the store to buy, I saw the offer of installation. That day, I was scheduled for an estimate the following day. The estimate was comparable to another estimate Id received but included water heater pickup and disposal. I scheduled a replacement and they came on Sunday, without additional charge. Christian and Jose were very polite and very efficient. They allowed me to ask questions while they were working. It was done in no time. Overall it was outstanding.

We spent a great deal of money on a very expensive eighteen thousand dollar system that included a Nest learning thermostat. The thermostat didnt make it a year and a 1/2 before malfunctioning. We called ARS and they sent a technician out. He was timely and very professional seem like a good person. However, he indicated that our thermostat needed replaced and that if we decided not to have it done we would have to pay a $109.00 service charge. If we decided to get it done the service charge would be rolled in to the charge to replace the thermostat. The charge to replace the thermostat was going to be $307.00 because there was only one year warranty on labor. I told him I would pay the service charge and install the part myself. He said their company policy would not allow that and that it had to be professionally installed. This is a plug and play device so that seems kind of silly. I asked to see the warranty that stated that I could not install the part and he couldnt find anything. Our experience didnt start out with them so well either. The sales person promised that he would get back to us within a month to make sure that everything was going good and that they would send someone out within the first year to install a new filter for us for the first time around. We never heard from them again. After yesterday a year we finally contacted them to see what was going and they sent a guy out to look things over. He said everything was fine and after telling us, they would NOT provide the first filter he went on his way. My wife called ARS to exlaine our disappointment with how our business had been handled. The person she talked to said she would have a manager call her back to discuss our issues. No one ever called. I went to home depot and bought a new thermostat and installed it myself. Plug and play took just a few minutes for $300?

Horrible customer service, I dont think they listen to what youre asking. If you ask to speak to a manager they state someone will call you back and they dont. I asked for an itemized statement never received one. I dont understand their billing because I was told it will cost $2200 to fix evaporator coil, part was under warranty but not labor. It took the guys about 1 1/2 hours to install coil and add freon so Im assuming the hourly rate is $1500.

Wow Mike was great. My a/c conked out on Memorial Day and ARS sent out a technician even when it was a holiday and late in the day. The best thing is he had the right part on his truck. It was the capacitor in my compressor. Fixed it real quick and waited around to make sure it was cooling properly. Best part is it didn’t cost me an arm and leg. Thank you Mike and ARS. My grandpa is 81years old and all he wanted was a free check on his A/C. I could hear him ask 3x if hed need to pay and it wasnt made clear to him that free was contingent on us using the company for recommended repairs. The AC was working fine we just wanted to know why so much water was leaking. Now it wont come back on and the technician left it worse off because he was mad my grandpa was reluctant to pay the diagnosis fee after being quoted $3500 in repairs. A waste of a call and money to come out and make things worse.

Michael Barrera did an excellent job performing HVAC system maintenance and installation of UV lights and the polarized electronic air cleaner. He was very professional, very customer oriented, very knowledgeable, provided quality work and answered all my questions. Misty, who I spoke with was very polite on the phone. My issue is with her abilities to communicate. This appointment was for an initial tech to do a quote for me. I called same day as my scheduled appointment to ask if there was any chance to move an appointment up. She stated shouldnt be an issue. I hadnt heard from her by the earliest time in my appointment window, so I called back. She stated she meant to call me to tell me the tech was not going to be able to make it out earlier. Not only that, but they may be running late for our 2 hour window. She then calls me 20 min past the appointment window to tell me the tech had a flat and was not able to make it out today. Over all poor communication skills. Made me feel like just another number in the day. No real sense of customer loyalty!

Everything was great from the initial call I made to schedule the service to the heads up call for the technician’s arrival. And, then it all changed. I was there to help my 81 year old mother and if I were not there, having been through the experience, I would be ashamed of myself for exposing her to this technician without my presence. I don’t want to accuse somebody of something erroneously but this technician was either “not right” or possibly his mind was altered. It turned out that he was not willing to take the necessary steps to address the problem and we were not comfortable with him attempting, at the stated price.Short version of the review is I would recommend them because they showed up quickly on a Sunday, but hope you don’t get the technician that showed up for us.After he left, I cleared the issue with a plunger and had a plumber come the following day to insure the clog was removed and the plumber didn’t understand why he was there.

We purchased a $17K Lennox unit a few years back and started having issues w the system the following year . ARS apparently installed the wrong wiring and did not use the shielded wire that was required on the specific unit . This is per Lennox . We contacted Lennox after we continued to consistently have problems. We contacted ARS ( or tried to but we kept getting blown off ). We went through another company and switched out the wiring . Now , I have been trying to cancel the maintenance package I signed up for years ago , and keep getting the run around. Each time I call , I am assured that it has been submitted and would cancel, only to be billed the following month . I have called to cancel three times with the same response. Do yourself a favor and stay clear from this company. They have proven time and again that their do not care .

I had an appointment scheduled and they canceled on me the day of (just a couple of hours before they were supposed to get here). They said the the earliest next appointment was two week after the original scheduled date. I understood and went ahead and re-scheduled it. Fast forward to today (the re-scheduled date), I had not received any communication from ARS and decided to give them a call in the last 10 minute window of my scheduled 4 hour time frame. They said they would reach out to dispatch to give me an update. I did not receive any further communication from dispatch. Rinse and repeat 2 more times. 4th call I canceled the appointment. I feel that one of the simplest jobs a company can do is contact their customers to give them a simple update. I will not be using ARS going forward.

Water heater failed in the middle of the night early Friday morning. We found this company through Lowes and contacted them. An employee came out on Saturday and explained options and provided an estimate. Technician (Corey) came on Sunday morning and removed old unit and replaced with a new one. See photo. Very pleased.
