Daniels Plumbing and Air Conditioning

I scheduled service with Daniels to diagnose and repair a problem with a water softener system. Within a couple of hours, a plumber was at my home working on the problem. This is the third time in 8 years we have had significant problems with a water softener system. The maintenance, repairs, and replacement costs have been extensive. The Daniels plumber explained the issue to me and gave me an option to repair the current system or replace it with a new one. He answered all of my questions, explaining the pros and cons of each option, and I never felt pressured. I chose to have them install a new system and he had it done within a couple of hours. We can tell a big difference in the water quality since the new system has been installed and this system has a 25-year warranty, guaranteeing that this is likely the last time we will have to worry about costly repair or replacement issues. The quality of work was top notch. They did things other plumbers had not done including weatherizing the water lines for the system and adding shut off and bypass valves. Im very satisfied with my experience with them and wont hesitate to call them again.

I was able to get Daniels (Larry specifically) out in less than 24 hours from a Sunday afternoon! Larry explained my options and after agreement, proceeded quickly with the repair/replacement of the hose bib and pipe.Ill look to Daniels again when I have plumbing issues. Thanks!

He did very good work. Knew exactly how he fix the hot water. He drained it properly, added the shut off valve and got us on our way, Very detailed. Stayed until service was complete and made sure there were no leaks!

From Scheduling to completion the team at Daniel’s plumbing was exceptional. OJ was extremely transparent and accommodating in working with scheduling and planning out our full home re-pipe.The team that came to our home led by Ronnie was great. Robbie, Martin, Billy and Greg were very professional and respectful of our home. All cuts and pipe runs were thoughtfully prepared for and well executed. One big thing is they always made sure to shut the doors to make sure our cats didn’t get out. Ronnie kept me up to date and well informed throughout the process. Overall they repiped all of our copper pipes with pex, installed a new water heater and water softener. Everything is working wonderfully. Big jobs like this can be very stressful as a homeowner and I cant Understate how professional the team was, I felt very confident in the team and the end result.Will definitely be using Daniels plumbing for my future plumbing needs!

Torrey with Daniels Plumbing and Air Conditioning arrived at my house and fixed the issue with my kitchen sink quickly. He double checked his work. He was very informative and friendly. He let me know what the cost would be before he did the work which the cost was very reasonable. He didnt lolly gag like a lot of plumbers do which could have cost me more in time. He was in and out. Ronnie responded to our service call quickly, and was very professional. He assessed the situation and efficiently fixed the problem, explaining what caused it. He was fair priced and even gave us a veterans discount. I’m writing this company’s info in my personal contact list and recommending him to everyone I know! Tyler was very good at analyzing my plumbing issue and explaining what could be done to fix it. He then proceeded to do the work with a professional and competent style ... and he seemed like a nice guy. What more could you ask of your plumber?

Chris was excellent and very professional. He inspected all the faucets in my house and then he inspected the valves outside and found out that it was the valves That was not worked correctly. He used his time well and was able to install a New valve to correct the problem. Chris is a great asset to your company and I would certainly recommend him to my friends and family.

We had to make an emergency service call when a pipe suddenly broke and Aldo was at my house quick and did a thorough job. We had had this same spot repaired by someone else a few years back and it never looked or felt quite right so I wasnt surprised when it didnt hold up. Now it looks and functions exactly as it should. Very fair pricing for the speed and quality work they offer. Brandon Turner showed up for me on a Sat night after 6pm. I could not get water to work anywhere in my house, and I had not been sure if I would be able to find help from anyone before Christmas Day (Wed), when my parents were going to stay with me for the holidays for the first time ever. Not only did Brandon arrive in a timely manner just a few hours after I called in the issue to Daniels, but he was professional, respectful and a good listener in addition to quickly identifying the issue (the prv) and working with me to make sure I knew I wasnt getting played on price at all. He got straight to work and I had better water pressure than Ive had since I moved in 11 years ago when all was said and done. Brandon could have been rude or taken advantage of this hour of need for me. Instead, he exhibited care and respect alongside his expertise. Feeling like I was treated well, with kind and direct communication, is just as -if not more- important to me than skillful service. Brandon brought both, and in a timely manner. Im grateful!!!

Our toilet kept overflowing, our “fill valve “ was broken. Tyler ( Master Plumber), with Daniel’s Plumbing was great. He arrived within the timeframe promised. He was quick to assess the problem, had all the parts. The repair was less than 30 minutes. Will definitely use again.❤️

Patty is amazing! I had put off replacing a disposal and kitchen faucet for far too long. In less than 3 hours, she confirmed the preferred faucet style through photos, went to the nearby Lowes, purchased both replacements, installed, cleaned up, and even swept up some small debris, all within a time constraint that she was unaware of prior to her arrival. She also works very quietly, no loud clanging of metal on metal, etc. That may sound funny but it made a huge difference.The entire process was seamless. I often feel intimidated and anxious with service calls but Patty was extremely professional, respectful, and asked questions along to the way to ensure a great experience.

I am selling my house, have already moved out of town and the buyer’s inspection determined we had a slow leak somewhere outside the house. I had one day (a Sunday) to find and fix the repair. Daniel’s was able to get someone out to repair it in just a few hours and the service technician was very pleasant and professional to work with. He even gave me plumbing tips for my new home!

Jason drove 2 hours troubleshoot my heating issues. He did a complete look over and found that one of the setting on my unit was not set properly. He has had me squared away pretty fast and didnt charge for anything but the cost to come out. Highly recommend.

We were service by Brandon/plumbing and Philip W./HVAC. Brandon came out at 7pm Xmas night when our septic backed up into 2 bathrooms very unexpectedly. He was so kind, professional and knowledgeable taking time to explain everything he found and reviewed solutions and associated costs without any pressure including helping us navigate getting the septic repair which was out of his scope. He stayed for several hours until almost 11pm and never tried to rush even on Christmas night. I haven’t met very many plumbers like Brandon and would highly recommend. Philip W. was awesome as well helped my husband sort thru some issues with a prior company with our HVAC. Could not be more pleased with his professionalism and very conscientious and so personable. Aldo was my plumber. He showed up on time and presented himself very professionally. He quickly provided me with a tentative diagnosis of the issue. He then proceeded to look into the issue more in depth. He was efficient and thorough throughout the process. I was very pleased.

My daughter works from home and I called for her to get a furnace tune up. I called Daniels an spoke to Susan who was an absolute sweetheart! She sent Phillip W. out and he couldnt have been nicer! He fully explained everything that he was doing. He was just absolutely awesome! When my daughter replaces HVAC, she will most definitely be using Daniels. If the rest of the employees are anything like Susan and Philip, how could she go wrong! Excellent experience and would most definitely highly recommend!

Our drain line was clogged, and I was doing a poor job getting it cleared. I booked an appointment the night before, and Phillip arrived the next day at the beginning of the estimated window. He cleared the drain line, educated me on our specific setup, and provided some tips about improvements we can make in the future. He was very professional and kind. Highly recommend!

Daniel’s has gotten us out of MANY tight spots. When a pipe burst, they were the only company that could come same day, after hours. We consistently work with Larry and Steven - they’re awesome! Work is always quick and well done.

The team scheduled a plumber quickly, they showed up within the time constraints of my day, and got to work unclogging the sewage line blockage. I appreciated how Aldo wore boot protectors while walking around inside the house, and they were super receptive to my excited pup who greeted them at the door with characteristic vigor and enthusiasm. Overall a wonderful experience in dealing with a crappy situation.

I was satisfied with the service provided. I was not pleased with the 2 techs wearing their work boots in my home without a boot cover. I have carpet, and I dont wear outside shoes in my home. Its courteous for techs to remove their boots or put a cover on in a customer s home.

Ronnie and Greg weee able to come to help me early the day after Christmas. I’d been fighting a sink clog off and on for a couple of years and handled with DIY fixes. That would last a short time but these guys had their camera and showed me what was really going on. They fixed it much better and now I can rest easily for a few more years before worrying about it again. Also, they were very nice and polite. I enjoyed having them come to help me.

I had a plumbing issue a while back. I called Daniels and have been glad ever since. Their team of plumbers and HVAC techs are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their Comfort Club is an added bonus of customers to take advantage of.

Paul was excellent when checking my furnace in prep for colder weather. He was thorough, pleasant and did an exceptional job going over all of the reading’s and what they meant plus any recommended service to help extend the life of the furnace.Having an annual maintenance plan with Daniel’s is well worth the cost.

Phillip and Victor did a superb job in tackling the various obstacles surfaced with the jobs.They were tasked with installing a dehumidifier and repair the UV air cleaner.As with many jobs, unplanned surprises surfaced but they communicated the issues and we were able to solve the problems. Phillip is a very competent professional. Victor is young and learning and was doing his first dehumidifier install. Phillip was an excellent mentor and Victor is a valued asset with a great attitude and professionalism.Its always a positive experience to encounter workers of this caliber.

On 1/7/25 Daniels installed a new tankless water heater in a second story attic space in my house, cost me nearly $6K. For that amount of money it’s reasonable to expect no problems afterwards. But that wasn’t the case here. They installed a defective device, a descaler filter, that leaked. I reported it, and Daniels sent another guy out, and he convinced me to remove the descaler unit as it wasn’t even needed to begin with. Then days later I discovered another separate leak, this time due to a wrongly installed connection that was clogged due to too much pipe sealant being used. The Daniels service tech showed me the problem, fixed it and left. But that’s not where this story ends----- This second leak went under the flooring in the attic and leaked for days, I have no idea how many days since i didn’t discover it right away, but it must have been leaking since the install on 1/7. And leaked through the ceiling below. At this date, 1/24/25, I still have a bucket on the floor underneath the ceiling to catch the drip by drip as it drains behind the ceiling. The leak appears to be slowing i think, but not certain. Problem is now i have damage to my ceiling, the drywall is visibly warped and stained by the water coming through. I do not expect to have to pay for the ceiling repair. I fully expect Daniels to pay for that, and will be making such a request today. I showed the damaged ceiling to each of the service techs, so they know about it.

We had a random water leak in our front yard, and I called Daniels to come out and take a look.Aldo from Daniels was dispatched in the late evening, and was on time from their dispatch estimate, and quickly identified the issue. While he wasnt able to fix the problem, needing more people, he committed to coming back tomorrow AM to resolve and was apologetic.

Aldo was here promptly and had my ruptured angle valve replaced in under 30 minutes. Fast, professional, and courteous, I’ll use Daniel’s again,

Brandon responded to my leaking kitchen faucet issue. I had been told previously that my water pressure was too great and Brandon confirmed. He installed a water filter/softener, fixed the pressure issue and did so knowledgeably and professionally.

Torrey was very professional and went above and beyond to get our leak repaired including arriving after dark on a Saturday as well as making a trip out to meet with the City of Lago Vista on a meter issue. I’d highly recommend Daniel’s Plumbing.

Called about a potential HVAC drip line leak and within two hours had a technician (Jason) come out and perform some checks. Determined the drip line was fine but pointed out water heater may have issues. Need a follow up plumbing inspection now but was ultimately happy with my immediate concern being addressed.

The service provided by Daniels Plumbing and Air Conditioning was excellent. The quote to replace our water heater was fair and the technician clearly explained to us what he planned to do, how he would bring our water heater up to code (were in an older house and the existing unit was 24(!) years old), how long it would take, and gave us the option to source a new unit ourselves (more cost effective) or have the company provide one. The team arrived on time, was communicative throughout, and quickly completed the replacement. On top of that, the technician was thoughtful, clearly an expert in the field, and easy to work with. Im so glad weve found our go-to plumbers!

Daniel’s gave me a free plumbing inspection with Patty and she did a really thorough job and was great at explaining some ins and outs and also gave me some very useful tips on maintenance. I thought they were going to sell me on something, but instead I feel I know more now that will prevent me from making a service call in the future. Thanks Patty and Daniel’s plumbing!

I had a new AC unit installed and am very happy that I chose them. They have better price compared to other offer I got. Bryce and Israel did an amazing job of installation and helped me with any questions I had. Adrian explained me everything about my option and gave me a good deal. Philip on the initial visit look up the system and told me all the option. I wish they came earlier for installation so that it did not got stretched out for 2 days. They also have to took out the attic door and hope they could have scheduled the repair person for it sooner. Minor complains but very happy with the service

Patty and Torrey were just wonderful. They came out just initially for a water heater flush but then were able to replace the water shut off valve, check water pressure, and fix everything all in one visit!!!!

Google won’t post this without any stars . I requested the plumber come out to clean a specific screen on the intake valve of the kitchen sink. The plumber looked at the sink, determined that it MIGHT be an issue with the sensor and thatit MIGHT be under warranty and that I should consult the company Instead of acknowledging I had READ the owners manual - which indicated that a specific screen needed to be cleaned, and which I notified the company that the screen needed to be cleaned (because I had attempted to do so and was unable to reach). I am not satisfied. because now I have to hire a different plumber, who might actually do that which I requested.

Brandon Turner did a great job. He was timely and professional with no problems. Good Man! I Would ask him to do the next repair if needed!

Bryce and Ryan are a winning team for Daniels. They installed a new ac/heat pump and the two were the most respectful, courteous, and informative duo. Can’t say enough good things about Daniel’s. Justin and Martin have both been to our house and have been extremely fast and friendly. Martin came late when we had a cracked pipe leaking in our attics and manage to not wake our sleeping 2 year old girl the whole time he was working. Navy SEAL level of stealth and professionalism!

Update: we just had our first club member seasonal HVAC inspection. Martin was awesome. Very nice and very professional. Our AC went out late in the evening, we had just gotten home with our baby and noticed the temperature creeping up. Phillip came out on short notice and worked on our AC in the pitch black. Super nice guy, very respectful and professional. I thought they would charge me out the nose for an emergency call and was pleased that the fee was quite reasonable. Definitely a great value considering the situation. I cant thank yall enough! This could have been a really rough night and instead we are going to bed cool and comfy.

Great overall experience during a very hot time of the year. Our A/C decides to break in the hottest part of summer. Adrian was very helpful with the estimates and financial part of the new A/C installation. Bryce and Carlos expertly worked during one of the hottest days of the to install our new A/C. Phillip did a great job of tuning my HVAC and he also presented all of his suggestions for updates with photos. He was very thorough and made the options easy to understand.

For the record; first and foremost I did appreciate the courteous and professional technicians; however a discovered/known error of a recently/newly installed AC in which the PVC pipe disconnected resulting in water flowing to the ground/seeping into the home and effecting inside flooring area is not acceptable to any degree/or extent. Failure of management to accept responsibility for the error and/or @ least attempt to rectify or reach an agreement for a sensible and fair resolution was magnified to a new whole level. I was insulted by the insinuations of the restoration company that came out to access/took pictures of the water damage approx. a week later. I am an professional individual, with over 40 yrs of military association/service; definitely not an idiot. Forget the fact that it was a very well noted/observed error by the technicians when they returned after my desperate call to the office and them directly. This obviously turned out to be poor judgement on my part for selection and choice of servicing company. It is an expensive lesson learned, that will not be repeated.

Larry was great. Super helpful with a leak from our garbage disposal, which ended up being minor. Explained everything and took time to test the issue and was very fair with pricing.

Larry came and immediately found the issue and took him maybe an hour to fix the slow leaking pipe. Very knowledgeable and expert in his field and is also very friendly and easy to talk to!

Very happy with my experience with Daniels plumbing, especially with Tib the service technician. Got an estimate to replace two water heaters in October, trying to be proactive, but didnt get them done. But of course, one started leaking the day after Christmas (how do they always know its a holiday?). Tib came out and stopped the leak, and then was back out the next morning to replace both of them. Did top-quality work, would recommend them for your next project!

I really needed a real air/ventilation system inspection to address problems with the builder within my warranty period. There are issues with how it was installed. The inspector that came out did a very basic inspection, just looked at the outside unit and the filter and said everything was fine. Didnt seem to know much more than that. Completely missed the issues I was needing inspected.

Came out on a Sunday night to clear a main line clog. A little pricey, but expected for a Sunday night emergency call. Tyler was very personable and professional.

Philip at Daniel’s was awesome today. He took the time to teach me a few things and was super friendly. I would definitely ask for Philip again! The admin was also very kind and helpful. She got someone out right away. Five stars from me!

Even during the holidays, Daniel’s plumbing and air conditioning sent technician Martin at no charge! , run diagnostics on my AC system. Other companies wanted $99 which will not be waived, even if you chose the repair. Martin was extremely nice , knowledgeable , and very helpful , and setup a portable AC in my room, while we are waiting for the part. Those guys really care about the customer. Thank you so much.

This is the second time we’ve hired Daniel’s AC and Plumbing for a plumbing issue. They respond quickly and were able to visit our property the same day. They are very clear and honest about the issues and pricing. We have been really pleased with their diagnostics and their work and recommend them to neighbors all the time!

Patty was very professional and very personable at the same time. She spent time running analysis of the issue and explained her results to us afterwards in a way that we could easily understand.

We smelled gas in our water heater installed by Daniels a few months before. Called the company who promptly sent technician. He arrived later in the evening and was unable to find a leak at the water heater. He then wanted to cut into the wall and see if the leak was coming from inside the wall which would cost 275. I told him this was not acceptable and after 30 minutes got approval to cut the hole for no charge though any repair would be additional charge. He could not find leak and said he would have to come back the following day to do a whole house gas leak test and possibly dig into walls and ceilings to try and find leak. Minimum cost of 1000 with no maximum. He said it could take 2 hours or more than 2 days. He left our house around 9pm at night and turned our gas off saying he would be back the next day to start the big job. We were very uncomfortable with everything and called another company Rogers plumbing who came out and diagnosed a leak in about 5 minutes in the water heater piping. Tightened up and no more gas smell. Charged 45 dollars. This could have been a total disaster. I did talk to supervisor who was very apologetic and professional.

Aldo did a great job at a fair price. This was an after hours emergency call at that. Can’t say enough good things!

I was looking to add a mini split ac system to my garage. I used Angie’s list to get estimates from ac installers. I was pleasantly surprised that Daniel’s Plumbing and AC could come so quickly to give me an estimate. After meeting with 4 different companies, Daniel’s was the lowest price to do the job. I also really liked Adrian who came out to explain everything from installation to warranties to me. They came out the next day to install. The workers were fast, efficient, professional and very polite. Will definitely use them for all my future AC needs.

Adrian was super awesome to work with. He explained everything. Followed along with every step of the process. AC was put in fast, but done well, and is working great. The crew explained what all they did, and you could tell they took pride in a job well done. At one point, a crew member noticed that the new unit was damaged. They didnt try to slip it by, instead they returned that unit and came back with one that theyd want in their own house. Thats awesome and respectful service that you dont see often these days. And with the warranty, its nice to have piece of mind during these hot summer months.

Had an emergency clogged toilet at our studio. They had a technician out within 20 minutes of placing the call. Tyler called every step of the repair so I knew what was happening and how much it was going to cost. Saved the night because we only have one toilet in our business and still had a couple of hours of classes to go.

Daniels has done a fantastic job with many of the issues at my house. HVAC, Water heater, insulation.This latest visit was for plumbing in our second bathroom. Chris came in to help us months ago with an issue i tried to fix myself. He provided a lot of advice and information so that we could make the right decision and finally move forward with the project. Our second shower and bath is now available for use.We had several issues with the house and I fixed the other issues because they were small projects. He even provided advice with those issues which Daniels did not charge at all.10/10 would recommend. They will do quality work and are upfront with projects and what you need.

Fantastic experience with their AC evaluation and new unit installation! Adrian came out with his assistant Luis and both were very knowledgeable & personable; he showed me some fixes that could be done but our 15 year old air conditioner really should be replaced; he left the decision to me and gave me a fantastic $ deal on their top grade Lennox.He threw in thermostats, even for my upstairs unit and upgraded some duct work without any extra fees.From the first call to the reception desk, to them calling me back promptly, to informing me exactly when they would arrive, to the experienced installing technicians coming right on schedule, to Adrian coming out to overlook everything - a great experience!Told my neighbors about them and theyre having Daniels look at their AC concerns also and they seem pleased.

I dont like to ask for help. Thats partly a psych thing, but its not like I havent tried. In just the past decade, Ive had to tell representatives from three different service companies to get out of my house. I have zero tolerance for high pressure tactics, especially when Ive caught a tech telling me straight up lies. So after over a week without AC, I still didnt want to reach out for help. Enter Daniels.I called out of desperation. I needed someone legit to handle the R22 in the unit I was going to replace myself. I wanted it gone. Despite everyone saying no job too small on their vans and websites, Daniels was the only one that agreed to come out.Luis N. from Daniels arrived on time and ready to get working. Naturally, I had to supervise, which included some Q&A about my issue. Luis offered to look under the hood for me, and I agreed. In just over an hour, he did meaningful things with the outside unit, then the inside unit, then the thermostat (all of which I had tried to fix myself), and he got the thing running smoothly, blowing sweet, cool air. My hero!The charge was super reasonable, and Luis was cooler than I would have been with a ham-handed DIYer. He joked about restoring (my) faith in humanity as I paid him, but he was right. From now on, I have a plumbing/ HVAC/ electrical provider I can trust. I dont have to do it all myself anymore. Thanks for that, Luis!

Chris did a great job resolving the issue with a water filtration unit that was replaced a couple of months ago. He was willing to go through many troubleshooting steps to determine the problem and was very patient with suggestions I made. He was able to determine that the internals of the unit were slightly off causing water pressure issues and corrected the problem. All was covered under warranty. Would definitely recommend Daniels.

Had a new water heater installed at the end of October 2022 and it has already failed (its Dec 21, 2024). The Daniels technician tried to blame us saying we purchased a defective water heater, even though they sold it to us. So now, we have to purchase a new water heater. Buyer beware!!

Jason and Marco were professional and friendly. They explained our drain clog situation and suggested some things we could do to avoid having it happen again. The price was very reasonable and they’ll definitely be the ones we call for any future plumbing needs.

The company is just unprofessional, they took over 7 weeks to complete the job. I called several times to request a status update and never got a call back nor information about the job not being completed. They requested $20K payment in advance before completed the job and threatened with leave it incomplete. As of today, the job hasn’t been completed and it’s paid in full. Save you some money and stress and try a different and more professional company. I filed a complaint with the BBB.Atatched are the pictures of the completed job. They didnt replace the secondary line, they didnt install the closet flange. They are dishonest and disrespectful.

Cant speak highly enough about my experience. My technician (Mr. Rickles was incredible) came same day within 3 hours, and figured out what the problem was in under 5 minutes. Charged me what they quoted which was $89 for an estimate. Had just spent $451 for another company to come out for an hour and not find the problem. After determining what I needed to do to resolve the issue, a second gentleman (Brennan M.) was kind enough to wait on the phone with me to determine if a 2nd visit for the clogged A/C line was needed using a 25 auger (snake) from Home Depot that instacart delivered in under an hour per Mr. Rickles advice on either a shop vaccuum or my thought of the auger and it did.

Twas a good time. Bro knows what he’s doing. Diagnosed in 5 minutes. Everything else was good conversation👍🏾

The contactor on my outdoor AC unit stopped working resulting in lack of cold air in my home. I called Daniels in the morning and they were able to schedule me for same day repair. Their serviceman, Philip, sent me a text message and gave me a call 20 minutes before he arrived. Within a few minutes he confirmed the problem and replaced the component. The issue was fixed within an hour. He advised me on pest maintenance to prevent a similar issue from reoccurring.This is my second experience with Daniels and theyre a great team. Very friendly, transparent, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Purchased and had new HVAC system installed today. Big job, took Ryan and Bryce about 7 hours to complete. As I told both of them, they far exceeded my expectations as to punctuality, demeanor, knowledge of the product and leaving my area the way they found it. Both are Veterans, so their performance does not surprise me. They present themselves as Daniels employees who want to make sure their customers are satisfied. Feb 2021: Daniels plumbing was the only business that responded when my pipe busted during the freeze. I did find someone to do the work before my appointment with this company but I appreciate them giving me a response. Upon contacting Daniels plumbing, they made a quick trip out for what was a very affordable trip fee of $49. However, without much investigation I was told I needed to snake the drain and the cost would be +$500. I told them that was an absurd cost and would call others. I got a quote within minutes for $150 to snake the drain.Upon calling Daniels technician back, I was told it didnt need snaking and they would need to replace the toilet for +$1,000. Who knows if they would have charged me to snake the drain only to charge me for the toilet...I would encourage you to find more affordable options in the area. I got the work done for a fraction of the cost I was quoted.

Excellent service and work. Christhian C. is incredibly detailed in explaining issues. He shared many maintenance tips and provided top notch work. We have always had wonderful, honest plumbers with Daniels. I highly recommend the company.

Three strikes, Im out. I scheduled an appointment with them through their online portal because their phone lines were busy. I got a confirmation email for that appointment day & time, only to be called the next day asking if they could reschedule (apparently they had a skeleton crew that day). I agreed and went home from work early to meet them around noon, as agreed. The plumber still wasnt at my door by 4pm, so I canceled the appointment because, you know, I needed to pick up my kid from daycare. Unfortunately waste of time that doesnt jive with all these 5 star reviews

I was trying to get stems/handles, etc. replaced on an old shower valve. Whoever first came out let me know that while they might be able to find the parts, it might not last b/c of the unknown age of the valve. I was provided an estimate for complete replacing the valve & moving to a 1 handle posi-temp system but opted for the cheaper option. That failed within a month or so, unfortunately. Julio came out to take a look and was the most thorough, knowledgeable and easy to understand plumber Ive ever worked with. He took his time, looked at all options and ultimately provided me with a fair, reasonable estimate for replacing the valve & moving to the 1-handled system. I cant say enough good about this guy and overall, my experience with Daniels has been stellar.

Larry arrived at my house a quite a bit later than expected to give me an estimate on locating an exterior leak. I soon understood why he had been late. He listened, asked questions, got the lay of the land, and gave the matter some serious thought. Then he went about inspecting, touching, listening. He doesn’t give up. In the end, he found that the reason my water meter was showing a one-tenth of a gallon-per-minute “leak” was due to a minor failure in the pool auto-fill valve and told me how I could fix it with a $14.99 part from Home Depot. So, no, I won’t be having the previous plumber come back to remove the water heater and cut into the sheetrock to expose the manifold and isolate the lines and charge me $2,000. Thanks, Larry. I also enjoyed talking with you about Caribbean vacation destinations and peso devaluations. And this was all on a late Friday afternoon, on a free courtesy call. Have a nice weekend, buddy. You certainly made mine a lot better.

I had a mixed experience with Daniels Plumbing and Air Conditioning on December 6, 2023, when they came to address a lack of hot water in my grandmothers two-story home. Heres my review:Pros:1. Same-Day Service: Daniels Plumbing and Air Conditioning responded promptly and scheduled a same-day service call.2. Respectful Technicians: The technicians were respectful and communicated well.3. Friendly Scheduling Operator: The scheduling operator was kind and helpful.4.Attention to Cleanliness: Technicians wore shoe covers, maintaining a clean workspace.5. Reasonable Service Call Fee: The $49 service call fee was reasonable.6. Friendly Staff: Overall, the staff members were friendly and approachable.Cons:1. Push for Service Plan: The technicians pushed a service plan too early, before diagnosing the issue.2. Emphasis on Replacement: They focused on replacing the water heaters instead of attempting repairs, despite the heaters being in good condition.3. Lack of Repair Options: Due to the heaters age, they recommended replacement, not repair, which was puzzling.4. Incorrect Diagnosis: The technicians misidentified the malfunctioning water heater and did not realize the unit they diagnosed was for the wrong floor. There were two separate units.5. Limited Repair Options: They only provided replacement options of $13k, $12k, and $6k, no repair solutions.Final Thoughts:The visit seemed geared towards selling new water heaters from the start, making me uneasy. Another plumber suggested the issue might be in the shower plumbing, not the water heaters since every other outlet is getting hot water. While the staff were friendly, the incorrect diagnosis and limited solutions left me unimpressed. A. more accurate diagnosis and broader range of solutions should have been explored. If it turns out the water heaters need replacement, Ill update my review. The staff were great, but improvements are needed in the diagnostic process. UPDATE 12-8-23 Christianson Plumbing and AC came out 2 days later and adjusted the lever where the hot and cold water meet and solved the problem. They charged $139 dollar for the service call. l saved $5,860.00 by getting a second estimate.

I would avoid this company at all costs for any HVAC matters. I went through a fiasco with them, so its a long write-up:I saw a cheap special offer for $27 per system AC tune-up so I scheduled these guys to take a look at my dual system. When something is too good to be true, it usually is. Everything went downhill from there!Scheduling: inconsistent. They cancelled late on the day of my appointment saying the guys were busy at another job and so we rescheduled for later in the week. On the day of new appt, they kept changing the time, but eventually we were able to get on the same page.Knowledge: terrible. Two junior guys came out and did the tune-up. They said everything looked good except for the coil had some light rust and the heat pumps capacitors needed to be replaced ASAP. I asked them to measure the refrigerant levels noticing they didnt, and they told me they dont want to do that in case theyd cause a leak (HUGE RED FLAG). I can check everything else myself, I am literally paying you to check things I do not have equipment for and youre afraid you might cause a leak?!Honesty: zero. So Im a pretty savvy DIYer and an engineer, but I often like to play dumb as a woman to see if contractors have integrity. When they pushed me to replace those capacitors ASAP, I asked for pricing. They quoted over $900 to which I was shocked and asked why so high, and one of the young techs JD blatantly lied that they have to charge for their labor and the capacitors each cost over $300. Yeah, I replaced the capacitors myself, paid $15 each.End of the appointment was an uncomfortably long sales pitch, as JD kept trying to convince me to replace my systems. I said I needed to think about it and talk with my fam, and he even asked me forward questions like whether I needed to discuss decision making with my family. Then he asked me to fill out a positive review so that he and the other junior tech could get a free lunch, and even demanded that I open up the link right in front of him and fill out the review before they left.The nightmare didnt stop there. The day after these guys tinkered with my systems, one of my HVAC units started having major issues and would stop blowing cold air and ice was building up at the heat pump. I called them and this time I got a senior technician, Phillip, to come out. He looked over everything and said complete opposite of everything his junior techs said. One system needed to be replaced right away as it was leaking oil, the refrigerant levels were low on both systems, pointed out major rust on the coil, and that the new malfunction had nothing to do with what his guys touched. I did like Phillip and appreciated his help, but no way was I ever gonna do business with this company again.I ended up shopping for replacement quotes from over 10 HVAC companies in Austin, and got it done by another company that was honest and reliable. FYI, the replacement quotes Daniels had given me were THE most expensive among all estimates.

Incredibly high-level of frustration with this organization. I called with background history, pictures and videos of everything that had taken place on this leak for a three-year history and asked that they please send out a crew of two people with a tall ladder to investigate the leak due to the second-story nature of the leak. One guy showed up, no tall ladder, and said he didn’t think I had a leak, even though I kept showing him the water in the videos that had been there. Yes, in Texas, water does evaporate. So it was gone when he arrived, but I had video to show him. Then they said I had no leak, but wanted to charge me $1100 to investigate if I had a leak. I asked them to negotiate the investigation fee to $300 and win and if they did find a leak I would more than willingly pay the 1100. They then claimed that to bring an extra ladder out and an extra person out would cost them at least $400 and I had to be charged at least 450 for that. I’ve then said I told you this morning in my first phone call two people and a ladder would be needed and explained in details what was needed. This company, in my opinion, does not listen to consumers, and seems extraordinarily inflexible on their pricing terms. Especially when I said, I am more than willing to pay for everything they need to do once they get up there, but I wanted a lesser fee to at least investigate and determine if there was a leak. Again, because their plumber said he did not even see a leak. So if you think about this, They wanted me to pay $1100 for a week. Their plumber said didn’t exist. Shocking and terrible customer service.

I used to use this company all of the time, for myself and for my clients. Sadly I will not be in the future as due to new management their prices have gone through the roof and theyre no longer an affordable option. A camera line test that I used to pay under $500 for, now is over $1k. This is a camera they own that they stick down a drain to look for issues - its not even a repair or any use of materials, and never took more than 30 minutes. Id hate to see what their new bids come in at once they do find issues.

I got 6 plumbing quotes before (because I had a BIG job) and then Daniels came out and I knew these guys were the ones for the job. They were super friendly and I had a good intuition that they werent trying to rip me off or take advantage of me. They seemed super knowledgeable (they have been around forever) and the have a LOT of positve reviews. Im so glad I went with them and not one of the other companies I almost went with. Their price was much more fair and the job got done right. I am so relieved my plumbing is resolved and I didnt have to remortgage my house in the process. I cant recommend them enough!

Christian arrived as scheduled, analyzed and explained our plumbing issues, provided the estimate and explained the estimate. He recommended options as well. I certainly recommend Daniel’s Plumbing since they work late into the evening hours. This makes it easier for customers that work and driving in traffic to get home. Phillip came out for an HVAC emergency. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and professional and the woman I spoke to on the phone (I’m sorry I forgot her name) was kind and understanding. Thank you so much for fitting us in! We’ve already recommended you and will be using your company again.

Daniel’s has come through for me multiple times this year for both plumbing and HVAC. Most recently Phillip, an HVAC technician, came to do a regular system maintenance and discovered some issues that would cause a system failure down the road. He presented plenty of options at multiple price points and was able to complete the job at the same initial visit, making it easier for us. He stayed late to make sure he could fit our service in.
