Stanley Steemer

Wesley and Jackie came to our house to clean our HVAC system. They were very polite, courteous and very knowledgeable about the service we were about to receive. They were efficient and took great care of our house, very neat, and did a great job leaving our house the way they found it (I appreciate that). I would highly recommend these two gentleman if you ever need Stanley Steamer vent service.

Cameron did a great job explaining our options and helping us decide what we needed. He covered a lot of ground and did a great job! I would recommend!

After using Stanley Steemer in Chicago for 10 plus years and never having an issue, we had a terrible experience with their company in Austin for our upstairs carpeted area. The tech seemed very nice and pleasant. However, I thought the carpet seemed very wet when she left. Five hours later when getting ready to go to bed, the carpet was still extremely wet and did not seem to have dried at all. I dragged out our personal carpet cleaner. I used the suck-up-the water function and had to spend an hour and a half going over the entire serviced area. I pulled up 5 plus gallons of water that was clearly not sucked up by Stanley Steemer. On top of it, the water was all dirty. So, I paid hundreds of dollars for Stanley Steemer to pump a ton of water into my carpet and not remove any of the dirty water or dirt? Thats the exact opposite of what I hired them to do!To top it off, no one was available to discuss our problem until up to 48 hours later. Called yesterday morning to express concerns and still havent heard back from anyone. Terrible, terrible customer service. Will definitely move forward with Zero Res in the future!

My technician (Thomas) was very kind and professional. Helped me with our rugs that needed cleaning and our office waiting room carpet. The carpet looks a million times better. The heavy traffic really compacted the carpet and now it looks basically new. I can’t wait for the rugs to come back in two-ish weeks! I’m sure they’ll look sooo good.

Cameron was the kindest and most professional gentlemen I believe I’ve ever dealt with. Stanley Steemer you are blessed to have Cameron as your employee. If you could train all your employees to be like him,, your company would be top-notch. Please thank Cameron, for he is top-notch.

Paul had a difficult task here where my sister and her indoor cats have lived for more than a decade, and he did a great job! Very personable and professional young man! I vacuumed up cat hair and such for several hours before he arrived. The included before pictures were taken prior to that. We werent expecting a miracle, but he made it a thousand times better and were truly thankful to have a much healthier home going forward.

Thomas was great! The carpets look new again and the whole experience was easy. I had to reschedule my appointment last minute earlier in the week and the team was very understanding.

Thomas did an amazing job! He was very efficient and even covered the door to keep out the freezing cold weather. I have a toddler and my carpet was a mess. It looks great!

William Green, the technician, was excellent. He worked diligently to address a concern I had with the Stanley Steemer process for buffering stone floors. The reality is that their process is a clean, dry, and then apply a liquid solution that gives a shiny appearance. It is not a buffered process to shine polished travertine. So, confirm what you want before the job is started.

Fabian went above and beyond cleaning our carpets and cleaning the sofa. He was so polite, neat about his work, and very informative of the process. We are very pleased.

We had a terrible large motor oil stain on one year old white carpet, thought we were screwed, but William came in and worked tirelessly on the probably 4x10 inch spot and amazingly, much to our surprise, got it out. We highly recommend William the miracle man and Stanley Steemer. I’d also like to add my wife called them and they had William out here in about four hours. Thank you Stanley Steemer andespecially William! Love that guy! 🤠

Kendall was great! This was the second time I had Stanley come out because the first time the cleaning was not as good as expected. Kendall walked me through every step and made sure I was happy with the results before leaving. My carpet smells much better than pervious, and alot of the stains were removed. My tile floor looks new, which is 20 years old and my carpet looks very nice again. The two gentlemen, that did the work were very polite and did the work in a short time. Good service.

This was a very pricey service. I will use them again for cleaning the sectional sofa and the carpet but not for cleaning the hardwood vinyl.I was not aware that they wouldn’t do any sweeping prior to the vinyl floor cleaning. In addition- the pricing by room is not fair to some households. I live in a small two story. My entryway/hallway, living room, and kitchen combined are smaller than some house’s living rooms. I also noted a scuff mark left on the vinyl floor that was missed in the cleaning.Lastly- we (as in all Americans) are so tired of tipping people. Pay the employees a decent salary and give bonuses based on good survey performance. It’s not our job to tip these people.In conclusion- good job to the employee who came out and cleaned my house but Stanley corporate needs to do some improvement.

BAIT & SWITCH! I booked online for 2 rooms of tile (approx 220square ft total) to be cleaned with a sealant added on top for $284 with an online promo. When their tech named Warren arrived (mind you, my window of arrival was set for 8am - 1pm and he didnt arrive until about 1:55pm) he proceeded to tell me that he would need to bill it as three rooms because I have a breakfast bar through my kitchen area so that is now a dining room by his definition. Okay fine. He also said he only likes to clean tile when he can apply both sealants that the company sells because then he doesnt have to come back for touch ups, all in all which would now bring me to near $700. I told him that was not within our budget, I wanted to stick with what I booked online and with whatever third room fee he has to charge. Warren said he could bring it down to $370 for everything today, so that was fine and I confirmed with my husband on the phone and told Warren we could proceed. He then says he needs to call his boss, he comes back and says its actually gonna be a little over $500. What? Why did we just agree on $370 and now thats no longer valid? I asked to speak to his boss for clarification and to see if he can honor the price his rep just gave me (at which point Warren denied giving that price, however i let him know its all most likely caught on our security cameras and my husband heard him over the phone confirming that price) and the short answer from the manager was basically no and he didnt really seem to care either way. Warren stated Im not doing the work for $370 and left. He murmured unprofessional things as he entered and exited my property throughout the situation which is, again, caught on my security cameras. This was a very poor experience and poor customer service in part by the tech and by the manager. So beware with the Austin area Stanley Steamers, the old bait & switch technique of sales is still alive and well.

Way overdue for service!! Especially having two dogs and one being a senior. I had an 8am-1pm timeframe and the technician arrived at 10am. Thomas was friendly & professional while walking through the services and options. Did not feel any pressure to purchase anything additional. Cleaning looks great, and all smells are gone. Would highly recommend, and will reach out again when needed!!

I just had an air duct cleaning service from Stanley Steemer and the experience couldn’t have been better. The communications were excellent and the technicians showed up on time. They explained the process very clearly and very professional manner. I highly recommend Stanley Steemer to anybody.

Roy and Friend were great. Professional, clean and friendly. A pleasure to have them in my home I wish the UVlight was not so expensive it kind of busted my budget. Hope it works

I had five rooms cleaned and a stairwell. Stanley Steemer has a good reputation so I opted in to use their service. The two gentlemen that came were very nice and respectful. They asked me if there were any stains or areas that I needed them to concentrate in. I told them that I needed to have the carpet deep clean Because of traffic. After cleaning one of the rooms, the gentleman came and shared with me that the carpet is worn and that it couldn’t get cleaner than what it was. In summary, there were three rooms in the house that were cleaned and did not look like cleaning had been done upon completion . I am not completely satisfied with the end-result of the carpet cleaning. Additionally, there was no discount offered due to my dissatisfaction. Here are some pictures post carpet cleaning.

First of all, they were supposed to text me when the technicians were on their way. After they were here for 10 minutes, the office called to tell me theyre theyre on their way.We wanted the dark marks under the doorways and along the walls removed. They couldnt promise to remove them and they were right about that since they ended up still dark. They charged me for two additional bedrooms where only 20% of the carpet was accessible, and a bathroom I was unaware of.Unfortunately, we werent watching them, and some small items were not even moved. I specifically said to do behind my closet door. After he put everything away, he came back and apparently just watered down the area. Later on, we discovered that none of the rooms were touched behind the doors!The large, opened areas were cleaned. The smaller, had to get to areas that needed to be cleaned, were barely touched if at all. We ended up doing those areas ourselves.

Stanley Steamer was GREAT. Did a fantastic job of cleaning my carpets, were super nice and I would highly recommend them.

The person that did my tile clean and grout reseal was meticulous in his attention to detail and hard work. My tile looks AMAZING now. The only problem was that he was not able to begin the job until 2:20 resulting in my having to put furniture back until 10:30 last night. I’m sure this was a scheduling problem with Stanley Steemer and not the individual’s fault. Great job Thomas!! See pictures below.

Bobby was fantastic. He ca.e and treated the stains on my carpet and sofa and then cleaned them. My sofa looks brand new and my carpet looks great. I am no longer embarrassed so I can have people over again. Stanley Steamer has great packaged deals too.

Very disappointed with the poor job done. Spoke with a manager who stopped by after our floors were “cleaned” and even agreed that they dropped the ball and he would make it look better with a sealant for another $400 after paying $1400 and didn’t even show up when I made it very clear what my time window was. Not only did they NOT get the job done, they are also very inconsiderate of people’s time they were supposed to come between 1-5 for the walk through and showed up at 4:58 and same for the cleaning. Then promised to come on a set day at a set time and did not show up.

Thomas and Warren did an incredible job steaming my white couch. They were absolute Angels. They carefully steamed it and shared advice on how to protect it. They were incredibly respectful, patient, kind, and a joy to be around. I was very impressed with end result, and will specifically request them next time I book a Stanley Steamer service. The specialists were wonderful! Professional, thorough, and completed the cleaning in a timely manner! Would most definitely use again! My sofa is still drying, but I would say overall it looks almost brand new (which is a hard thing with the everyday traffic of children and pets).

Stanley Steamer employee drove me off the road/blocked me in off i35 in south Austin.When trying merging lanes (using the zipper method, it was my turn and I had space) the Stanley steamer driver clipped my mirror, cut me off the road, and rolled down his wind yelling curse words at me telling me to pull over. He physically had my car blocked and all I could do was lock my doors and beg he let me drive off. Then he followed me and repeated this process again. He took photos of my car/license plate and now I’m terrified he’ll find me again. I already called Stanley steamer to report this and no action was taken. Be careful who you let into your home with this service

Stanley Steamer did an excellent job in cleaning our sofa. The communication was prompt and courteous from the time of scheduling to them coming to our home. Both technicians, William and Andre, were so cordial and customer-service focused!

Second life for our carpet! After a water leak and pet stains, I thought we had to replace our carpet. I tried Stanley Steemer as a last ditch effort and I’m very glad I did. Our carpet looks good as new. Service was very friendly and courteous as well.

We try to have Stanley Steemer out once every two years to clean AC vents and dryer vents. It’s a service we need to do just to keep the dirt under control. Every time they have been out, it has made such a big difference in the operation of our, AC and our dryer. They always do a very good job. They take their time and then they clean up everything after they finished. I highly recommend this company.

The technician was great. He wasted no time. When he was done, I noticed a couple of high traffic areas, they were a little lighter but not gone. The tech told me they would take several treatments to get rid of them. Disappointing news to hear from a professional carpet cleaning company.

They will cause thousands of dollars worth of damage to your home and then claim that it was already there. They will then gaslight you and tell you that their treatment exposed damage that was already there underneath the dirt. Meanwhile, this all took place at our new home that we just purchased and hadnt even moved into yet.If you let these incompetent scum into your home, follow them around with a camera and dont let them out of your sight.

The service with Stanley Steemer has always been a great experience. It is easy to sign up for a time to get work done and the work is always excellent. I have had my carpets done my furniture and my tiles and grout. Would recommend.

Update: Customer service called and refunded the overcharge for 3rd room for vinyl cleaning. So increased the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.I asked the technician to wear shoe protectors over his shoes or remove his shoes before entering the house. He wore the protectors once while checking out the area. Then he went out to setup things in his van and didnt wear them again when he came back in the house. His shoes were clearly muddy, and he was walking all over the bedroom carpet with them while spraying the cleaner on it. My wife requested him again to wear the shoe protectors again because we dont want anyone to walk on our bedroom carpet with outside shoes, but he kept arguing that it doesnt make sense to him and he is cleaning the carpet anyways and if someone walks *just once* on the carpet with shoes on then it doesnt matter. My wife and I didnt want to make a scene, so we let it go. But in the end, he didnt wear the shoe protectors while cleaning the carpet, and now we have to get the carpet re-cleaned from another company.Leaving 2 stars instead of 1 star, only because we also got our vinyl flooring cleaned and he did a good job with that. Although he increased the total price by charging for 3 rooms instead of 2 rooms even though the total area of combined living area was about 475 sqft. The website clearly states that one room equals area upto 300 sqft and combined living area will be charged as 2 rooms. How can 475 sqft area be charged as 3 rooms?We wont be using the services of Stanley Steemer again.

Easy to schedule, they arrived in the earlier part of the booking window, gave me clear explanations, and were finished quickly. I will use them again in the future!

Today I had tile floors in 3 areas steam cleaned and colored grout sealer added. Everything looks brand new again! I had initially requested just the kitchen/dining area (one great room) but when they arrived and said they could do the two bathrooms and the shower as well, I jumped at the chance! Such great service and I look forward to having more work done by them. Jacob & Kurt were a great crew for our home. Our shy anxious cat even came out from hiding to meet them and allow some petting.I would highly recommend this company’s location/branch to do work needed in the Austin area.(I forgot to take before pics but here are some after pics!)

I had Alberto redo a couple of vents that didn’t look quite clean to me, and he gladly did them right away. In fact he re-ran them several times to be sure that I would be satisfied. Very happy with their service.

While our technician Savannah was great, I’m not thrilled with how my couches turned out. I had 2 chairs and a love seat cleaned, one of which my senior cat had an accident on. After the cleaning, the couch still had a large stain and the other couches didn’t really look much different either from what they looked like before the cleaning. For the amount of money paid, I feel as though my couches should have looked cleaner than before and I’m not sure if I would recommend or use Stanley Steemer again.

Fast and effective service! Get the “disinfectant option”, got some tough stains out and refreshed the rugs.

Fabian (our technician) did the best he could, but our experience was terrible. I had explained to the initial contact (salesperson) that I was looking for someone to clean the drops of drywall mud and small spots of latex paint off my newly laid tile. I was told that their process was to apply a special solution (many complicated ingredients) and let to process for 20 min. That was followed by 1600 bti pressure wash and then extraction, which should definitely do the job. Well, it didn’t. The water soluble drywall mud spots remained, in spite of Fabian’s best efforts. Besides that, their wonderful formula left a film on the tile and buildup around the baseboards. I asked that the manager come out to look at it tomorrow. He offered a reduced price, said he would bill immediately and send to collections if I didn’t pay. Poor products, poor customer service, poor company. Do not use Stanley Steemer.

When I need my carpet cleaned i search no where else but Stanley Steemer. The individual who cleaned our carpet Cameron was polite, personable and did what needed to be done. Unfortunately his tablet wasn’t working so he had to call over to provide the payment so I couldn’t give a tip. So I’m giving this shout out! Thank you.

We have 373 units here… However, you told me $99 you charge me over 200…I do not smell the fragrance and I do not believe that a protection was applied… However, your driver was awesome…. you told me $99 on the phone and charged me over $200 when you got there

Both our rugs and the kitchen tile look fantastic. We even added on a small bathroom and entry hallway to our order because the kitchen looked so good we didn’t want the small adjacent areas looking dirty in contrast. Very happy with the outcome and Kendall stayed until the job was done properly everywhere.

They were supposed to be here between 12-5pm. At 4:30, they shot me a text, claiming they were en route. I gave them a call at 6pm, and what do they say? For some mysterious reason, they couldnt make it, and Id have to reschedule. Fine, I thought, but heres where it gets outrageous.When they finally showed up for the service, they had the nerve to insist that my three-person modular sofa was somehow a sectional. And oh, the price they now wanted to squeeze out of me skyrocketed from $182 to over $300! Thats when I decided Id had enough.I gave their service hotline a ring. According to their phone operator, these techs have the final say on everything, and there arent even any clear guidelines in place for classifying a sofa. Can you believe that? It smells like downright discrimination to me, and theyve got absolutely no protocols in place to protect their customers. Ive got pictures to prove it, so you be the judge.

We had our carpets cleaned by William Green from Stanley Steemer and were very pleased with the results. Mr. Green was easy to work with, explained things well, and did a thorough job. He even went the extra mile in treating a heavily spotted area (We have six grandsons that often eat in the carpeted dining room!). We very much appreciated his efforts!

Wesley and Aundre arrived as promised between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. They went through our home and cleaned our vents and heating units. Our home is 4,000+ square feet. They checked for mold upstairs in our grandchildrens rooms and cleaned everything they found. The six year old has allergies and we hope this helps her. We are very pleased with the work they did. Stanley Steamer is who we call for carpet cleaning. We will call them for all cleaning needs.

The tile and grout on floors came out great. Was trying to have the showers done but the hard water didnt come off in the one I had done like I was hoping so I kinda wasted $100 on having one done before I figured that out. So if you are trying to get rid of the white build up on the tiles in the shower and not worried about the grout maybe skip that.

I used Stanley Steemer for many years and they did a great job but this time it was terrible! They only sent one technician and he clean the carpet around all the furniture without moving anything. My husband asked him if he would help move the coffee table and he refused, I spent a lot of time taking everything off the coffee table and the end tables thinking that they would be moved and he said they do not do that anymore. I feel like only half the carpet was cleaned because he had to just swerve around and he wouldn’t even move , a chair out of the way to clean where you normally step sitting on the chair. I won’t be using them again and I feel I need to hire someone else to come in and finish the job.
