I ordered what I thought would be a normal cleaning. Once Dan got on site he noticed some issues and sent me pictures immediately. We where able to get a quote within 10 minutes all over WhatsApp. Dan handled the cleaning and sent me before and after pictures which is huge as Im in Japan right now. Stress free and great communication I cant say enough about this team!

Friendly, on time, professional technician Eli. Greenwood came out for deep cleaning needed on our chimney. They noticed some cracks and gaps that would be a safety risk and recommended repairs. They provided an estimate, which I reviewed before scheduling the work. They were willing to come out on a Sunday to complete it. Eli the same tech did the work efficiently and I am pleased with the results.

Not worth it for deep cleaning. They might be good at smaller tasks and regular cleaning .Details below:1. Hired them for deep cleaning. But they did a superficial job without even opening the vents in the house. They said they use gravity to clean everything from top.2. They promised me deep cleaning for chimney, but they didn’t get on top of roof. Instead they cleaned it only from inside the house.3. Dryer vent was cleaned only from inside. They didn’t even take a look at the exit of the vent. I removed the debris stuck to outlet cover.4. Raised concerns and they sent over the same people again. Work is incomplete even after second attempt.

Never use this comapny!!!!They said that cleaned dry vent. But they didn’t do anything. Still there was negative flow.When I went the roof, my dry vent entrance clogged. After cleaning it by my self, it solved. And even, the representative is so mean and not kind. Never use this service.

I’ve suffered a lot of sinus issues only to find out that mold was causing a lot of those issues in our house. So impressed with today’s service provided by Dan! He was very informative of the problems with mold but also recommended to prevent future mold with the UV light. Highly recommend!

Having been burned by several HVAC service providers over the past few years, I’m still feeling like Greenwood Duct Cleaning’s service and quality is too good to be true. Here’s why:Service: From the moment someone reached out to me, I felt like communication was friendly, honest & urgent. I’ve been working with Dan, who has been incredibly responsive to text and phone calls. His communication has been thorough and extremely clear. Even though he obviously works at Greenwood, he also gives me the distinct sense that he’s working for me and looking out for my budget.Quality: related to the issue I was having, Greenwood came in and immediately identified what two other providers could not identify. They went to work right away, addressing the issue from all angles. Dan let me know that if I perceived any lingering evidence of the original problem that they’d come back out to do whatever it took to make things right. Well, there was some lingering evidence and Dan was a man of his word. Within a few hours of contacting him, they were back out, touching up some loose ends and it appears that they’ve solved my issue completely.I’m thoroughly impressed with Greenwood not only for the work they did, but for how they run their business compared to their competitors. A++

Do not use this company for chimney cleaning. I called and they had availability same day, which should have been a red flag. Amber who answered the phone said they had a special on chimney cleaning for $99. I explained it had been 12 years since our last cleaning. She never mentioned there may be an upcharge. The guys arrived on time with a shop vac and retractable chimney brush of some sort. After they vacuumed, they took a cell phone picture from the bottom and explained I had creosote and to get that off it would be another $100. I told him that of course I had creosote build up which is why I was sure to tell Amber it had been 12 years since our last cleaning. He said he would try to get it off with the basic cleaning and if not we could pay extra. Then he explained I had four cracks on the inside of the fireplace and that would be another $199 to fix those. I said no.They were here maybe 10 minutes total and said they got the creosote off with the basic cleaning. They never went on the roof. The before and after pictures look very similar. Looks like there is still plenty of creosote buildup. I would not use this company again. It was a joke. I called Amber back and she said she didn’t own the company and I would need to talk to the owner if I had an issue. I have included an “after” picture.

I contacted greenwood on Wednesday and they responded within minutes. They scheduled a technician for next day around 12pm and he even came early. Most professional team of workers I have ever interacted with. They came and cleaned, disinfected, and sprayed all of all of my vents in an efficient and fast way and left everything clean when they finished. During the cleaning they made sure to explain all the steps they were doing and even took photos for me. I Cannot recommend greenwood enough and I will make sure that if my family ever come across mold issues again they know who to call. Thank you Amber, Omar and team Eli for helping me with everything. Very dishonest company.dont believe all the hype and services they said they will do.unlimited vent cleaning turned into more money no leak checks,no video of ducts,nothing!They say I had mold,look liked an old photoFrom another hose cause they would not take me up to see it .they killed it supposedly with a can of kilz.im not sure thats how professionals do it.Technician was very pushy and rude.Dont believe a word they say and get it in writing.nothing was done they said they would do unless for an extra charge.I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with their service.Stay away!I despise leaving negative reviews but I had to so people can know how misleading and unprofessional they are.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME if you want to save $500 !!!I’m a top 5% google reviewer so I start everyone off with 5 stars and deduct a star with every 🚩.-1 ⭐️ for the super hard sell-1 ⭐️ for coming into my home attempting to discuss a political situation.First let me start off by saying GREENWOOD DOES EXCELLENT WORK and I would’ve loved to have given them 5 stars but I can’t do so with good conscience because it’s important for consumers to keep each other informed. Once one chimney company lowers their price to get into your door then they all have to in order to stay in line with the competition. What then happens is all the chimney sweeps will promise you a low price, then once they do their “inspection” there will be some problem that requires them to charge you more. This ultimately leads you to pay what you should be charged in the first place. This goes for any home service whether it be chimney sweeping, tree trimming, lawn maintenance, etc…Since I’m new to Austin I would like to do my part in helping get prices down for everybody.🚩 First, I was originally quoted $99 for an annual chimney sweep but knew the chimney in our 40-year old home probably hasn’t been cleaned in years so I was prepared to spend a little more. That being said there is no evidence that the $99 & $299 chimney sweep service is different in any way. If Greenwood is able to prove me wrong I will be more than happy to change my review. But I would need to see completely different equipment and techniques being used, which likely isn’t possible. I’m sure if I would have said no to the $299 deep cleaning that the service would have been exactly the same.There was a crack in the bottom of my firebox and the salesman Eli tried several times to get us to upgrade our service so he could repair it. The cost of this service is an additional $399 which we declined. He then offered to give us a 10% discount and we declined again. Then he went down to 20%, then said he would try to get 50% from the owners for being a senior citizen. We kept declining but he called someone that he said was his boss anyway. They were speaking another language on the phone so I’ll never know exactly what was said.🚩 Second, we were watching the news and something came on about a war and Eli mentioned that he’s from one of the countries involved. He attempted several times to discuss it with us. My husband chimed in, but as a former diplomat I knew discussing such matters, especially with a stranger in my own home was a bad idea so I just listened. Let me be clear, THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT ELI SAID. But what could’ve happened if the conversation took a wrong turn and got politically heated? I mean this guy knows where I live after all. It was awkward and made me feel uncomfortable.To summarize, I DO RECOMMEND Greenwood to clean your chimney because I they do excellent work and are very professional for the most part. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves and I also liked how they didn’t try to charge a surcharge for taking my credit card payment. Just be prepared for a hard upsell and potential awkward conversations.

Ive lived here 7 years and never had my dryer vent cleaned. Omar and his partner were able to get rid of about six feet of old bird nests and dryer lint. Its good I never had a fire.

This company told me the special for the month on Facebook was $99 for a basic inspection and cleaning for my dryer. They told me if I got the air ducts done it would be 129 + 69. They came out and asked which was more important to me? I said the dryer and he immediately told me how terrible the dryer vent was and said a deep clean would be 299!!! I said wow...thats crazy from 69?! I said Ill cancel the ac vents because Im sure they would tell me theirs mold in them and said I just want the dryer but I wont pay that much. They said ok, theyll knock it down just for the dryer to 199 because I need a deep clean for the dryer, which they never said that might be the case at the beginning. They canceled my appointment yesterday when I took off work early and I asked them to come out today later and they didnt so I had to leave work early again today and still I need to find another company that will do qhat they say the first time...if anyone knows of a deep clean fir a dryer that does good work and is less than $200 please let me know...this will help save people from the headache I experienced today from their Facebook special.

Original I was quoted the price for air duct and dryer vent cleaning for $189 + $69 over the phone. I agreed to the price. The day of the cleaning I was not home, left it to my husband and son in law. They were told before the job start that we need the duct deep clean at a grand total of $399. After they were done we were given the bill of $1152 but our credit card was charged for $1232. Please see the bill attached. This company is a not to be trusted.
