Ross and his teammate Darius were outstanding in their efforts in replacing the trim and valve on my 30 year old shower unit. Ross walked me through step by step what he would have to do to replace the unit efficiently. We tested everything afterwards, and the cleanup was if they were never even there. Really appreciate the speed and communication guys, thanks.

Jay Jenkins was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to us! He was friendly and professional. He conducted a thorough examination of our leak issue.Zach Carlisle did a great job replacing our pipes throughout our house! He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was very respectful and answered all of our questions about the process! He went above and beyond and stayed late to ensure a thorough job!

So far experience has been great just got outside unit installed and is working great because the previous unit only lasted 6 years a carrier plus the installer and builder which was casa mechanical and DR Horton did a lousy installing it. I just prey Goettl works out better for us but so far they have been great all three technicians were friendly and answered our questions professionally and explained everything great

Jarod is fantastic !Caring and efficient- he spent a lot of time diagnosing for us and made sure to have multiple solutions and the pros and cons of each so we could handle the situation best for us.We have a newborn who was hot and he prioritized our job, was thorough , and made sure we were not without AC. He showed us exactly what was wrong and what was needed repairing. Cristian Aguilar was so awesome. He was very thorough in his inspection. We chatted about what he was looking at, everything was good with the unit. But more important, we just chatted like friends. Talked about our dogs, and life in general. I’m in a hard situation right now, and Cristian helped me make some important changes to my account so that I wouldn’t have to worry about doing it myself. 20250108 - Will Howington serviced our hot water heaters, did a fantastic job and we are so happy we called Goettl as things were way worse than we thought. The service included:1. Replacing the Pressure Relief valve2. Draining both of our tanks, which showed that ouranode rods likely required replacement.3. Replaced both anode rods, with magnesium rods appropriatefor use with our water softener. One rod had totally failedwhile the other had only center shaft left - see pictures.4. Checked and found both our surge tanks failed, so thosewere also replaced.Explained everything he was planning to do and why before he did it. 5 stars for Brandon . He’s awesome! He’s super knowledgeable and professional. All of the techs have been so nice. We have gotten to know a lot of them . The unit they put in is NOT something I would recommend. It’s a Amana 4 star unitwith lots of issues. I wish I had shopped around before going with them. I will say, that they have been great about fixing everything that goes wrong. It’s just that I’ve had to take a lot of time off of work waiting for them to come and do it.

I was very pleased with the service Ross provided. He asked if had any more concerns that needed to be addressed? He was very thorough with his job making sure it was done correctly. He let me know I had a 60 day warranty on the work. His timelines and professionalism was very much appreciated.

Cristian Aguilar came out to my residence to perform a service check on my hvac system. He was very knowledgeable and explained different items, options to me about my system. He was super pet friendly ( I have a new 2 month old puppy) and he made sure he made verbal and physical/petting contact with her. When he left he left her a parting gift. Thanks Cristian!

Three years ago, I hired Goettl to install four REME Halos, one in each of our four AC units. The entire process was a disaster. Now that I have worked with other AC companies, I understand many things. First of all, they charged me an arm and a leg (literally 3 times what another well-known company charged me). Second, it took them 6 visits to install them. First, they tried to install a different brand even though I specifically said REME Halos. I had to call them to have them come back and replace them with the proper ones. Second, they were falling out of the A/C units and had to come back to repair them. Now, almost three years later, I found out from another HVAC company that 3 of the 4 were not installed properly. You can see in the pictures that the pictures show the airflow is supposed to go a certain way, and they were not installed properly. It is clear that the company had no clue what they were doing. In addition, they never registered the REME Halos, so we were unable to get them repaired when they stopped working before the 3 years. The entire process turned me off from the company. Also, every time they said they were coming, it was almost 2 hours later that they arrived. I think technicians were coming from San Antonio. I had originally chosen Goettl because they purchased Dayton years ago, and I had been using them ever since I lived in Austin. I incorrectly assumed I would be getting the same level of service, but I was wrong. I had another friend who used them. They did a ton of damage to her AC vents, and then told her it would be $50,000 to fix it. Absurd. I would stay away from this company.

Technician was very nice and knowledgeable but seemed more interested in upselling more services than anything else. Changed my house filter but left dirty one in hallway for me to deal with. Left plastic trash by outside unit, left sensor trash in hallway closet. He even left a sensor plugged into the wall in my dining room?

Goettl has been great and helped us several times over the years. Jay Jenkins just recently saved the day and helped with plumbing issues, providing great service. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend! Called for a plumbing issue and Zach came out the next morning despite the bad weather. Fixed quickly and at very little cost to us. Zach was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again!

Wyatt performed his plumber duties as best that can be expected! The one complaint that I have is the fact that he didn’t wear his shoe covers as I believe is your employee protocol. Your employee Wil wore them when he was here about 10 days ago. As a result we have his footprints on our stairs and porch. See photos.

Today I had the good fortune to have the Goettl Team come to service both my HVAC and water heater/plumbing. I say ‘team’ because Edgar Macedo showed up first to start working on my HVAC and not long after Jay Jenkins arrived and started rocking out on my plumbing issues. Goettl and Goettl was in the house taking care of business! Super knowledgeable, ultra professional, and very thorough, with the skills to get both jobs done to a level of perfection and satisfaction that’s hard to achieve these days, at least in my book. Communication leading up to the appointments far exceeded my expectations and made things seemless within our busy work day. My wife and I could not be more pleased and would highly recommend Goettl to anyone in need of quality HVAC and/or plumbing services. Many thanks to Jay and Edgar for fighting Friday rush hour traffic, showing up with great attitudes, enthusiasm and huge smiles on what I guarantee had already been a long day for each of them. We were looking for someone to fix our AC desperately and we are so glad we found them to replace our AC unit for us. Gustavo was very professional and explained everything in layman’s terms and answered every question I had without losing patience. They were able to come in the day after they gave us an invoice and got the AC running on the same day. They went out of their way to organize the cords and clean the work area much cleaner than it was and when we had some concerns few days after, Ramiro came by as soon as he was available and resolved the matter. There was never a moment where it felt like I was bothering them with any questions I might have. I would definitely recommend them for any AC problems!

Once again I had excellent service from this company. Unfortunately for me my second A/C unit failed within a month of replacing my first unit and due to its age needed to also be replaced. Goettl worked with me to help get the 2nd unit priced, scheduled and installed without any hassles. Gustavo and Trevor arrived on time. They were professional, courteous and CAREFUL in my home which I really appreciated. They made sure everything was working properly, answered my questions and cleaned up before they left, The A/C is working great!! Also, a shout out to Robyn at the Austin Branch office who is always responsive to scheduling and miscellaneous questions I have. Thank you!

I moved into my home on a Friday, and by Tuesday night, we had a freeze. The next morning, all my cold water was working fine, but I had no hot water at all. Initially, I was worried about a frozen pipe, but after some thought, I realized the issue was likely with my tankless water heater.I called Goettl since they had same-day availability, and they sent out a technician named Jay. He inspected the water heater and then went under my pier and beam home. Since it was freezing outside, I went inside while he checked things out. When he knocked on my door to discuss his findings, I asked if he had found any frozen pipes. He said no but followed up with, It doesnt look good.Jay explained that my water heater had two red indicator lights, meaning it was on, but since it wasn’t producing hot water and wasn’t displaying an error code, he concluded it must be broken. He told me that replacing it would cost between $11,000 and $13,000. I was shocked, as the water heater unit itself costs around $1,500-$1800 When I questioned the price, he justified the cost by mentioning connection hoses, labor, a 25-year warranty, and service checks.Sensing my hesitation, he then suggested a more affordable option: a traditional tank water heater. He claimed that my current tankless unit was capable of supplying hot water to a family of 4–5 simultaneously, but since I lived alone, I could downgrade. The cost for this option? $6,000. Again, I was stunned—traditional water heaters typically cost around $1,000.Feeling uneasy, I decided to get a second opinion. I called Daniel’s Plumbing, and their technician took the time to explain how my water heater works, how to drain it, and what might be causing the issue. After hearing the details, he suspected my heater was simply frozen. His advice? Wait for it to thaw.When I jokingly asked, So no hot shower tonight? he responded, Well, I could stand here and unthaw it for you, but that would take several hours and cost you about $600—only for it to possibly freeze up again. As if on cue, the system kicked on while he was still there. He told me to run inside and check my hot water. Although it wasn’t working immediately, about two hours later, it started flowing again.In the end, I spent $150 total:$90 for Goettl’s service call$50 for Daniel’s PlumbingMeanwhile, Goettl quoted me anywhere from $6,000 to $13,000 for a replacement, while Daniel’s Plumbing offered a simple, preventative solution—adding heat tape—for just a few hundred dollars.It’s needless to say that I was extremely disappointed in Goettl. Their pricing felt predatory, and had I not sought a second opinion, I could have spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up on a future episode of American Greed.

Quick, amazing service! Cannot recommend enough. We were dealing with a plumbing issue and they helped to figure out the larger issue and helped fix what could be fixed today. Wil with Goettl came to our home on a holiday and was able to fix our plumbing leak in a timely manner. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. I never felt pressured to do any additional work and he talked me through all the estimates. I would highly recommend this company and Wil for any plumbing needs.I called other companies that were charging a non refundable fee due to the holiday and Goettl was the first company that didn’t have a holiday fee. Brandon was the technician sent to look at my ac/heater system. He immediately brought to my attention the issues with my system. He was thorough explaining what was going on with my system. He worked long hours to get my system ready and running for the winter weather. Definitely the hardest working tech Ive had to do maintenance on my ac/heater system. I called Goettl for a water heater repair, and Brent came out right on schedule to address the issue. He presented a range of options for repair/replacement, and also noticed other critical issues that needed addressing. In this case, the water pressure coming into the house was too high, and might have caused the leaks in the first place. Brent was friendly, timely, and thorough, and I would highly recommend him and the Goettl team to anyone in need of plumbing service.

Great experience working with Wil as he used the camera snake to pinpoint the blockage in the main sewage line from the house and used the photos and video to confirm our suspicion of exactly what items were responsible for the blockage.Once we knew how deep the issues were, he was able to clearly go over the repair options and quickly got the work scheduled.Obviously, no one wants to have to deal with unexpected plumbing problems. But the ability to clearly see the problem and understand the size of the project BEFORE the digging starts makes it easier to know that you’re making the right decision upfront.Goettl is my go to from now on for preventative maintenance and fixing problems.

I intend on posting a review about this company and the work they did for my mother. Before I do that, I would like to pivot and speak about one of the company employees who, in my opinion, went above and beyond what he could have done. Jarod Wallquist exemplifies the term Service Before Self. Mr Wallquist went out of his way to make sure that my mother’s needs were met. He came to my mothers home and explained every detail of the problem she was dealing with as well as the solution to that problem. A new system had to be ordered and installed in my mothers home as the old system was 25 years old and was on its last leg. Mr. Wallquist made sure that my mother was supplied with temporary cooling stations in her home until the new was installed. He assured my mother and I that the new system would be installed on Tuesday (08/06/24). A team of technicians arrived early Tuesday morning and installed my mothers new unit. They made sure that she completely understood everything about the system. When I called and checked on her and the new system, she was very pleased. The company provided great service. Mr Wallquist gave his word and then honored it. Mr. Wallquist showed himself to be a man of great integrity. He said what he was going to do, and then he did what he said he was going to do. Thank you, Mr. Wallquist not only for your service but for keeping your word.

I had an outstanding experience with Cristian from Goettl. He provided excellent customer service, was on time, and communicated everything clearly. He was also extremely friendly with my 4-year-old son, which made the visit even better. Christian went above and beyond by giving my son a Sadie stuffed animal and a Goettl flashlight, which absolutely made his day! I highly recommend Goettl for all air conditioning needs!!!!

Craig was so professional, he ran through my entire system to check for any more issues with my air conditioner. It turned out my thermostat was bad he replaced that but in addition he found another problem that would have been an issue soon. He saved me money in the long run. I can’t even begin to express how wonderful of an experience we had with this company. Nobody likes to have to unexpectedly replace such an expensive, big part of their home. Goettl made this task as enjoyable and positive as it could be. They listened to what we wanted and what we could afford. They didn’t try to talk us into anything we didn’t need. Their customer service was top notch. Jarod, Ivan, Gustavo, Juan, and Jonny were professional and courteous. They go above and beyond for their clients. They came to assess the problem around 9:00 AM and by 9:30 PM we had an entire new system inside and out!

Very friendly and helpful company. The technician, Zach, was amazing. He was informative, patient and understanding with my questions and concerns and worked me into their work schedule quickly to get my issue solved.

Editing as I’ve had to recall this company 3 times. The 3rd time I brought them out to fix my broken heater and not only did they not repair it, they left everything disassembled in the motherboard so my A/C was also non functional. They told me nothing they could do so I was left worse off than before I called them. When the next company came out they fixed the A/C in 5 min saying it was because Goettl left everything disassembled that’s why I was getting the thermostat error.

We always have had a great experience with Goettl and our many needs. Super grateful for Cobi who came to change AC filters and found a leak in the attic/roof (during this rain storm). He took videos and climbed back into the attic to place a pot to prevent damage.

Brent was great! He came out as part of my Smart Sadie membership to checkout my plumbing. I learned a lot! Brent took his time to explain the readings and what he was doing. He may have had to repeat himself a few times for my clarification but he was very thorough in his assessment. There were some things that need replacing and he talked me through my options and prioritizing so I wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. I appreciate Brent’s patience and willingness to explain the parts and services needed. Thank you!

Joshua was helpful calming and informative in working on a huge leak from my water line. The experience was stressful but Joshua paused in the work to show and explain what options to take. His master knowledge of plumbing was awesome in figuring out alternative paths to fix the problem. I appreciate all he did to help keep the process moving. Wyatt was another plumber who worked on installing new water lines in the house, He explained how things would work and addressed my concerns. He and his assistant worked long hours to complete the job.

The service tech, Craig was professional and went over everything with me after his inspection of our system and was not pushy of the possible improvements that could be made if I wanted to do so. My rating is based off of the service techs customer service and professionalism.

Goettl was amazing I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday and they came out on Monday since they had an opening. Wil did a great job, very friendly, he knew exactly what was causing my slow drain. Fixed it quickly. Then checked to make sure everything else was in working condition. I will definitely call them if I have any other issues.

Great experience with Goettl! Scheduled AC repair online and got text updates quickly after. I was out of town when this repair had to happen. I was able to leave instructions for the tech with dispatcher and everything was done exactly as I asked. Scheduling/service are top notch. They got a tech over early when a spot opened in the schedule. Christian was awesome! He called to let me know when he arrived and diagnosed the issue, sent pictures and made the fix right then at my direction. Tough thing to handle from out of town but Christian made it so easy.

Wil did an amazing job. Fast and friendly. He explained everything that he was going to do and provided suggestions on how to prevent the buildup in the pipes in the future. Now the drain is working perfectly again. We know who to call for future plumbing needs.

Brent was on time, clearly explained everything we needed, and was comprehensive in explaining our options and what they would cost. Most importantly, he fully fixed our slow bath faucet and gave us a recommendation to look into our water softener as it could be malfunctioning and causing some build up. This is the second time my family has used their services and I cant say enough about our experience. Its rare to have both professional and considerate technicians these days. Brent did an outstanding job.

Matt Slone did a thorough and excellent job. He was following up on some unfinished work from a complete A/C system install. He checked every aspect of the system and the previous problems with the coils freezing up. He also did the required system inspection and checked some unrelated plumbing issues and proposed solutions.We have had a rough road since the system was installed three weeks ago. We had four callbacks since the system kept failing. Every one who came out did a good job but the communication between the techs and the company broke down every time. The problem was that the call center would promise a call back or visit and there wasno followup.You leave the customer with no recourse but to keep calling the call center and waiting to see if there would be any followup. That is not acceptable.

Called for a quote for water heater. Ross came out same day, gave me quote, went over all my options and answered all my questions. Great customer service, didnt end up using them but will keep them in mind for future work.

Ross, the tech that came was amazing. Frankly so was Goettl. The cleaning two drains for $160. ($80 ea). He was in and out in 15 minutes. No gimmicks. No games!!! I had Roto Tooter come before them, and they gave me a quote for $560 to clean two bathroom sink drains!! Very pleased with Ross and Geottl!!!

Overall service Craig Norris provided was exceptional. However, Goettl has some back office challenges to overcome. As newer clients Goettl provided a $50 credit coupon for future service. Craig did a good job of verifying this credit post service which also matched our agreed upon and accepted quote. Goettl then proceeded to charge the full unapproved amount for the service. We are now in the process of having to claw back the overcharge, which is unacceptable. Finding someone to own the issue is frustrating. Good service, poor administration experience.

Jay took his time to look at everything and explain what he was looking for, good and bad in our plumbing system. We look forward to having him back if hes available to do the necessary work.

Even though there were some issues with the heating part of the new unit. The personnel were very helpful and tried the best to get it going. Fortunately it got fixed and before the next real cold front due later the next week. Things happen but they did there best.

Start to finish the total pros at Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing got us out of an ancient, broken down air conditioning system and into an expertly installed one. Our great thanks to Joshua for diagnosing the issue and to Juan and Carlos for their expert installation of our new Goodman unit. We encountered nothing but professionalism from this remarkable team. We never thought our problem would be fixed so quickly and with such great care. Goettl does it right.Additional thanks to Robyn in the office and Bedford who came it to put some finishing touches on the machine to get it through the inspection process. Both these folks offer top flight service and were par-for-the-course of the totally excellent service we have received from Goettl. I am so happy we chose them to do this big job for us. I recommend Goettl without qualification. Kinda wish they did more than just a/c and plumbing, they’re that good of a business.Our new unit blows as cold as a winter wind and shows us what we were missing before. I had such a great experience with Tib and Raul. They were very courteous and knowledgable. They fixed the issue thoroughly that the came here for and also helped me flush my water tank as well. They also made sure I knew what was happening throughout the process. I will be making sure they are assigned to my tasks from now on.

Super fast response time. I went online and made an appointment for the following day. Within minutes I received a text indicating they had someone who could be here today...within 15 minutes if that was more convenient! 15 minutes later Ive got Jackson at my door...super polite and professional. He asked me what the issue was, past maintenance history, and told me exactly what he was going to do to get our house cool again. Thats exactly what he did...step by step updates. I’ve used them for a couple repairs and free inspections. Every service technician and scheduler I’ve encountered were very friendly and professional, the work has been satisfactory, and follow up thorough. I have some work yet to be scheduled with them for which they’ve offered some financing options, and I would recommend them.

I have had three appointments with Goettl in 2025. One was the technician is sick one was were too busy today and one was a no show with no explanation. Both last minute cancellations happened more than an hour into the appointment window.Each was a four hour scheduling block that required staying home from work and clearing calendar of some appointments, so it is disappointing to reserve 12 hours for Goettl and then have them not show up. It is worse that no notice is received until *after* well into the service window.

I recommend Goettl highly. The A/C in our attic began to drip water through our ceiling. I called Goettl A/C and Plumbing Repair around noon and their man Christian was at my house in about three hours. He quickly found that our units condenser drains were clogged. He cleared all the drains and cleaned the drain pans.I am very happy with Christian and Goettl A/C Repair. Their bill for this house call was very reasonable.11/15/2024I asked Chris, the manager at Goetl, to send someone out to review all the plumbing at our house. Zach checked all 4 bathrooms, kitchen sink, and the hot water heater. He is mailing me a copy of his report.The only appliance that needs to be replaced in the near future is the hot water heater. When I replace it I will call Goetl Plumbing to put it in.I love this company. Their employees are very knowledgeable and pleasant.11/29/2024I called Goettl Plumbing and Air Conditioning to do a comprehensive review of our air-conditioning systems. This is known as a tune up, which should be done once or twice a year. The technician, Craig, arrived on time. He checked the electrical connections to both of our central a/c units as well as other functions. He was very personable and knowledgeable.I love this company and its employees, Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing.I recommend them highly for your Plumbing and Air Conditioning needs.12/28/2025I called Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing at 9 A.M.. My A/C thermostat wasnt displaying anything. Christian was at our house in less than 2 hours. He quickly determined that there was nothing wrong with my thermostat. He showed me how to push a few buttons to get the thermostat to work.Thank you Christian and Goetti Air Conditioner.

Jarod was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He explained the differences in the way AC units rated and how they run. We are looking to replace a 30 year old unit so things have changed. I also spoke with Chris Rios who was also very knowledgeable about the options and pricing for our needs. Tib came over to give my plumbing a check. Let me know that he recommended a yearly flushing off my tankless water heater and showed me the results. The service was prompt, not pushy, and he was very nice.

I called for a water line leak. The guy showed up late in the afternoon. I expected someone coming to fixed the leak. Instead the had to call his manager, then wanted to have a crew come out and provided a really high quote. I called another company one guy came fixed the leak for less than 1/3 of their quote.

Goettl responded to my call immediately. Edgar came out the next morning at my request. (They actually offered to come out the same day I called.) The problem was addressed and I look forward to seeing them in the future.

When something (like a pressure reduction valve failure that cuts your home water pressure to nearly-a-trickle ) happens … it’s good to have solid pros show up and do a smart job of a hard/labor task that has custom piping atop a dog and fill job - doing so in under three hours from landing - well it’s worth complimenting Will and Joshua for doing a “civilian commando” job: I don’t write reviews, but this one is required.

Wyatt did an excellent job, annalize the problem, went and retrieveed the tools and parts needed and repaired the leaking pipe. Pleasant to talk to and have come do work at our house. I do have to say the charge was much more than I expected. Thank you

Goettl installed a brand new units inside and outside. Temperatures dropped into the 30s and the aux/emergency didnt work. Technician who came to fix the issue claims he found a loose wire. The next day, the temperature dropped again and the aux/emergency heat still doesnt work. 58 degrees in the house and cant get a manager on the phone. There is no emergency or after hours number, which is unusual for a company in this business. Spend your money somewhere else, please.

Update- 2 months later we’re still having issues with our 2 year old HVAC. Goettl said they couldn’t send someone out for several days. Then they told us a tech could come the next morning, we got a text saying he was in route but then we got a text saying he was delayed and ultimately he didn’t show up till the afternoon.The coils and compressor froze over this time so when everything thawed water started dripping out of our kitchen light fixture. The tech today said the coils they just installed a couple months ago are already leaking…The comment from Michael below went absolutely no where.We’ve already spent $2,400 dollars on our 2 year old system. All of the parts are still under warranty and this is just their cost for labor and refrigerant. We’ve been dealing with Goettl for two weeks now and they’ve sent out 2 different techs and the same two repairmen and our house is still 85 degrees when it’s set to 74. I wish I could give them 0 stars for how they’ve overcharged and underperformed.

Awesome job! Gustavo and Ramiro! Anybody use Goettl air conditioning. We got a new a/c unit installed on May 6. The installers said they had to remove the steps that go into the attic but they told me dont worry a professional will come and put them back up. Well they are still on the floor in the garage and every time we call they say we are making a note of this and giving it to a supervisor who will call you back shortly! It never happens! So if you use Goettl be careful!

Tib and his son Raul were amazing to work with. They went above and beyond to fix our issue. From the time we called Goettl to the time they left our house with the job completed was three hours. Amazing time if you ask me. Thanks, Goettl!

Christian was a great help, he took his time to listen and understand the situation and issues before performing his own investigation into what was going on with the AC. He was very knowledgeable and kindhearted, he did not have any problems explaining things to me and showing me examples of what needs to be done to make everything safe and up to code. He was able to provide me with a couple of detailed estimates on options on ways to repair and/or replace the unit was able to provide reasonable pricing for those options without any pressure on choosing an option right away. I would recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! In July 2022 my AC quit working. Im disabled and cannot tolerate high temperatures so I was in a panic when I learned my AC needed to be replaced. Goettl was the only company that had immediate availability to do the job. They sent a tech out right away and sold me a very overpriced system. I knew I was getting screwed but I needed the AC asap so I went ahead and let them do it. The next day they sent 2 guys that looked like they found them in the home depot parking lot. They installed the AC and all was good for about a year. The AC quit working and I found out that the guys that installed it, plumbed the drain wrong and it backed up, causing the AC to quit working. I paid to have new drain hooked up and then it was fine. July 3rd of this year, less than 2 weeks before my warranty expired, it quit working again. I called Goettl and was told since my unit was still under warranty the service call would be free of charge. The tech that came out didnt seem very knowledgeable. He went outside and looked at the unit for a few minutes before coming inside and seeming surprised that the AC was now working. I asked what he did to get it to work and he said he reset it. I said, oh, so you dont know why it stopped working? He said he wasnt done diagnosing. He blew some air down the drain pipe and got a tiny, harbor freight vacuum, to try and see if the drain was plugged. the vacuum did nothing. He had me pour a gallon of water down the drain pipe to see if it was clogged but the water came out fine. He then told me that the drain had been clogged and thats why the AC quit. He proceeded to charge me $228 for the service call. When I told him it was supposed to be no charge, he said that the customer service always makes that mistake and it wasnt free. 3 weeks later my AC quit again. I called Centex Air and they came out right away and determined that the float switch was faulty and intermittently cutting out, Which is what is was doing when Goettl came out but they either completely missed this issue or lied to get out of doing warranty repairs. Please do no use this company. They prey on desperate people and overcharge like crazy for the Goodwin systems they sell. I paid way too much, $20k, for their top of the line garbage AC that keeps breaking down. Learn from my mistake and go with a better company. *The fact that they claim to not be able to locate me as a customer shows their incompetence. They have my name,its not that hard. Unless they never took my daughters name off the account. That was their first screw up, which they said they fixed 2 years ago. My daughter scheduled the estimate and they had her down as the account holder even though Im the homeowner and I paid for the AC.*UPDATE now my ac repeatedly stops working every 2 weeks or so. The manufacturer says theyre aware of this issue with their air conditioners and they dont know what the fix is. Goettl sells defective air conditioners and will not respond regarding this problem.

Unprofessional. Untruthful. Rude. They bought another HVAC company and washed their hands of any work done by that company. Zero accountability and Zero care for the customer. Bad Business. Will be reporting to BBB.

Matt, Service Tech, was great. Cost to replace a 50 gallon gas water heater was ridiculous. $3500.00 and that was the least expensive. Cost me $925.00 to do it myself.

I heard the commercials on the radio and they pulled at my heart strings with the holding the flashlight for his dad and later going into the same business. So, when I noticed our water heater leaking I thought I’d give Goettl a try. Brent showed up on time and walked in our door and handed me a flashlight (nice touch!) I have to give props to the Goettl Plumbing but especially the technician that came to my home and assessed the situation and my goals for the bathroom. Tiberiu Mihaiescu from Goettl AC and Plumbing in Austin, TX explained things very thoroughly to me. He came back and made the plumbing repairs for phase 1 of my remodeling project. I wouldn’t have anybody else help me to execute the rest of the plans.

The men that Goettl sent to our home were professional in appearance and work ethics. They made absolutely sure that I understood exactly what they were going to do to unclog our drain line. Wil and Jay were both really patient, thorough, and kind when draining the water heater. They explained what we should be watching for and how our water was at the time. They found one of the pieces connected to the water heater that wasn’t working properly and were able to fix it in the same day. They were knowledgeable about the water heater, explained what we needed, and tested our water as well! Wil explained how calcium build up can affect pipes. Also, Jay and Wil were open to answering all of our questions regarding plumbing and water. They were open and able to give in detail that all the faucets and water was running well in the house. Jackson came out first thing this morning to fix our AC that went out yesterday. Dispatch was very communicative, Jackson was professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions.Pricing for the repairs was on par with other companies I have seen but the service was better. Incredibly frustrated and disappointed. Called to do annual maintenance and was up charged on a price increase for Sadi services. Scheduled a service call and asked repeatedly for them have the appropriate filter size for my unit. I was assured they would. Initial service scheduled between 9-1pm on Friday. They failed to show up or contact me about not being able to make that appointment window. When I called to inquire where they were at, they rescheduled me to an evening appointment that day. I again verified with them they would have the appropriate parts for the device.They showed up at 530 pm and did have the filter, they apologized and said they would have to call me to reschedule. They never did and when I called on Monday they said their first appointment would be on Friday which would mean I would have to take another day off work. I asked to speak to speak to a manager to try and figure out where the lack of communication was and was again pushed off for another 24 hours to have someone to call me. Still waiting on that call…………

My A/C unit went out so we decided to go with Goettl A/C and plumbing. There was a clear line of communication and they were out to us within the hour! Cristian Augilar was very informative and a great guy to talk to. He walked me through what was wrong and explained everything with detail even showing me the volt readings and answered all my questions. Was a fast fix and Im happy to have A/C agian! Wil came out and unclogged a drain that I could not. The pricing was very reasonable, working with Goettl Plumbing overall was an excellent experience from customer service throughout completion of the job. Wil especially, was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable with plumbing and left us with future tips as well as assisting with a few quick questions about our AC. He was great, you should ask for him by name if you want an excellent plumber.

The technician, Wyatt, was knowledgeable about the drain clog problem, offered a solution (first snaking and then hydro jetting when the snake didn’t clear it), and got the work done efficiently. Plumbing costs have gotten way out of hand, but Goettl had a special online offer that made it more reasonable so it makes sense to check their website for discounts.

Christian provided incredible service. I couldnt have been happier with the experience. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding. He deserves a raise.

Craig saved the day! Despite having a huge job before ours, he still made it out on a Friday night and left us with a cool home by the end of his trip. He was super helpful and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Highly recommend!

The service was good before, fast and professional. So I joined the membership even they are more expensive than other companies. However, the recent experience is very bad. I have a leak in the garage and got an appointment at 5:00pm Wednesday. Nobody contacted for ETA after 5:00pm so I called and was told that the technician was still with the customer before me. However, still no ETA after more than 2 hours waiting and multiple calls to them. Due to their delay, they could not complete the job and scheduled me for first thing on Friday at 9:00am. I specifically asked them to confirm it would be the first thing Friday as it could take hours to complete. They confirmed it. No one confirmed with me for the appointment Thursday. I called and told the appointment was scheduled for 9:00am Friday. However, after 7:00pm Thursday, they called and said my appointment was postponed to 10:00am because they needed to go another customer before me. I asked the manager to call me back since they promised to come at 9:00am Friday. However, until now, only a dispatch person called and said they sill did not have any ETA at all. Nobody provided any update or any explanation. It is very disappointing and frustrating. They dont care about the customers time at all!!!

This is really unfortunate to have to post as I really want to support small businesses. I’ve been a member of goettl’s service for 2 years, paid for their bi-annual service, their smart alerts system to be installed, and their monthly service member program.We had our AC go out today, it’s only two years old. We have elderly people in the home and the best they can do is come in two weeks.We even had their service on a new unit to prevent this from happening.So I will be cancelling my service for. It’s really unfortunate as we would have liked to remain customers. But we cannot continue to pay a company that does not own up to its promises.

I have only praise for Goettl and their tech Christian. He was both thorough and personable, and clearly valued doing good work and making certain the customer was 100 percent happy with the results. Will did a fantastic job. He was here all day, just to make sure I had water. It turns out that the best way to handle the water leak is to replace the old PVC pipe. After finding the old line (while digging through tree roots), he set us up for a temporary fix. The install crew will be coming out tomorrow to start the trenching.

Jackson Oviatt was sent to my house to help me with my air conditioner. It was done! 🥲 He made a thorough examination of all the necessary parts and took pictures of everything. Afterward, he sat with me and gave me an extensive overview and explained what my possible alternatives were. He was very mindful of my retired status and we discussed all factors in the decision. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Not at all pushy!! I would recommend him to anyone looking for information about your ac/heating equipment or if you need to replace them. Goettl has been a great decision for me.

I’m cannot stress enough—do not call them. They refuse to show up anywhere in their “4 hour” window. And 1.5 past, and no one here, the refused to at least reschedule a different day and specific time considering we stayed home from work waiting on them. All we needed was some form of guarantee of time, and they flat refused. If you don’t care about time and waiting, I guess call, otherwise stay away.

Tib Raul was wonderful. Came right away and fixed our plumbing issue in just a few minutes. Was super friendly and professional.

Brent was very informative professional and respectful. He got the job done really fast with his crew and was very transparent with the cost and all procedures that were going to be needed to fix our water softener issue. Highly recommend this company and very glad that I got to work with Brent.

AC stopped working at 2am Sunday morning, Christian was here by 8:30 am that same morning. He had a toy for my dog, troubleshot and got my AC going again. Price was fair, will definitely call again if needed.

Had my AC stop working on a Friday night and really needed a fix. Goettl was able to come out the next day and quickly diagnose and fix the issue. Jarod Wallquist was my technician and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He even brought a toy for my dog! He also went beyond fixing my AC, giving me an honest assessment of my system as a whole. 10/10. Will definitely use Goettl again.

Hot water heater went out and I calledfor a free estimate. They came right out and was transparent about pricing and within a short period of time my wife was able to take her hot shower!

These people are great! A/C went out on Wednesday night, called next morning to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately the next available appointment was Friday. I went ahead and scheduled it for friday.A few hours later, they called back and got me in on Thursday. The technician Craig was very professional. Answered all my questions and did not try and upsell me on anything. Craig did not have the part he needed on his truck.So he came back the next day on his day off to finish the job. I will be recommending them to all my friends, family and anybody else who will listen to me.

Jackson was absolutely wonderful start to finish! He arrived same day, earlier than expected, and came to the door with incredible energy. He showed great care with our dog and cat, giving them time to acclimate to his presence before diving into the work. He diagnosed the problems immediately and had solutions ready to go. Our AC is working better than ever, and his stopping of a minor leak (which wasn’t even the main problem - our AC was in BAD shape), is already lowering our energy usage. From scheduling the appointment to Jackson closing up, this was a wonderful experience that resolved a miserable situation. Thank you!!!

Craig from Goettl just saved our lives! Our AC stopped working effectively on an August Saturday around midday. After I spent a few hours trying to “DIY,” I called in the pros. I chose Goettl having seen their ads and billboards around town. I was in a bind—late on a Saturday with an eight-month pregnant wife and an 80-degree house. I called at 7:30pm and he was here by 8:30pm. Even though my issue was pretty obvious immediately, Craig gave my entire system a thorough diagnostic and recommended several options to address the short- and long-term health of my system—not to mention, he annihilated the drainage clog that was the source of our woes using a 400psi pressure tank. I’m writing from the comfort of my cool living room thanks to Craig. He was professional, knowledgeable and communicative throughout. I’ve definitely found my heating and AC company! Thanks Goettl.
