Unfortunately I have to post this because this company has cheated me out of my money. I have tried settling this with them via the third party (messages on FB) but they did not call me (even though they said they did). I have also disputed the charges with my credit card.I used this company back in 2022 and was pleased with their work, what the guy from FB said would be done, was done and I was completely satisfied. I decided to use them again this year, but it did not go well at all.From FB message, you can see what would be done, same as before. However, this time around, there was mold in the system and vents. I agreed to the price of the treatments and was ready to pay what was needed to get this taken care of.The technician did not remove any of the mold but sprayed Kilz on it! He only took off a few vent covers, aired out the foam, installed an ultraviolet light, and did a 10 second sanitizer through one vent cover.I was alone in my house, and the technician was a clearly able bodied man, and when I approached him many times about cleaning the mold and not spraying over it, he argued with me. We had many arguments because I was very unhappy with how he was treating the mold, definitely not a mold treatment you would expect for over the price of $2,000! After he was gone, I had to sweep his mess up because he didn’t bother to place anything under him, it got on my table, my kids’ stuff, and bed. After he left, I took off all the vent covers and had to clean everything myself, the inside of the vents were never cleaned though by him or me.Even though I showed him the FB message stating that all vents would be cleaned, he said the service had changed. I eventually felt like it was unsafe for me to continue arguing and signed a contract stating I was happy with my service, and I gave the technician a tip as well-all very stupid of me because I felt unsafe.I’ve been dealing with my credit card company for a few months now stating that I will pay for the ultraviolet light, but the other services were not done the way they should have and I want to be reimbursed for that.I would not use them for any type of mold treatment and make sure to go over in detail the service they will provide before agreeing to anything! Also, make sure you aren’t a woman at home and have someone with you in case there are disputes!Air Pro, hopefully you will actually contact me and we can settle this.

Roy came a couple days ago for duct cleaning. He found mold, albeit small, but mold. He returned today and cleaned the unit, added a uv light, deodorizer and sanitized.Roy is very pleasant and professional. Your excellent work is appreciated.

These people were hired by the builder of the home that I bought and Ive had nothing but problems since it was installed. Originally it had freezing up issues, and like somebody else said in their review they cut a new are opening to allow more airflow in. That did stop the freezing for a while. Then it started back up again and they replaced the coil. Immediately after they replaced the coil it started flooding the bottom of my house and would cause the air duct to come off due to being full of water, we would be stuck without air conditioning at the hottest part of the summer due to this. This happened three different times and every time they would come out and reattach the air duct but never fix the real issue. Each of those times the filters were clean. Then it started to flood the inside of my house. I called them and because the filters were not as clean as they would like them to be( this time) they tried to blame it on my filters (despite the fact that it had been a reoccurring issue, and they had been out multiple other times when the filters were clean and it was never addressed.) Then to top it off they told me that they were going to make me pay for the service call because they believed that this time it was the filters! Even though it had been happening since the unit was installed and the filters were clean every other single time!! I can agree with what most people have said which is that the staff are nice but good community service doesnt stop at the person being nice, the people actually have to be competent enough to do their job.Do not take the risk of using this company, you will sorely regret it, in fact I wouldnt doubt it if the good reviews on here are actually the people that work there trying to help out their rating. Im having to contact a different air conditioning company to come and see whats going on because these guys dont know what theyre doing. Do not use this company, its not worth taking the risk.

Had a conversation with a sales representative 7/9. Agreed upon a set price of $199. Services person arrived with only a shop vac, tried to upsale $499. Told me I had mold, I just changed all vent filters 7/3, there was no mold when I open the unit. No other service provided, beside running vac through access point.Alright it will be a flat rate of $399 and the package includes:1) All the supply Ducts cleaning with high pressure negative pressure machine.2) All the supply Vents with high pressure negative pressure machine.3) Deodorizer spray in the vents for fresh air.4) Before and after pictures of the system.5) Free Inspection/checkup of your Furnace, Ac and dryer vent will be provided to you if it needs cleaning my techs will let you know on the spot.

I have used Air Pro Austin for several years. We use them now as well and for all of our rentals. They’re always on time and stay until the job is completed. I’ve never had a bad experience thus far and don’t expect to.

After about a week of dealing with another company, I contacted Air Pro. They had my AC replaced in 3 days.Jose was the 1st to come out and explain to me what exactly was wrong with my system.Amanda worked diligently to make sure everything was in order so that we could get the parts needed ASAP. She was so patient and kind and super understanding a true angel.Roger came out and installed the unit he was on time , professional and efficient.Now I know if I have any AC issues in the future I will most definitely be contacting Air Pro!

My AC went out in my rental home while outside temperatures exceeded 100 degrees, leaving the inside of the home at 95. I called Air Pro and they responded promptly. The technician, Roger, not only found the problem and fixed it, but did so with a very professional and friendly demeanor. Overall, they do quality work with very reasonable pricing.

Very unprofessional employees. I called yesterday to get my recently installed furnace looked at. The female employee that answered the phone Amanda was so RUDE! she was talking over me and couldnt explain what was going on with my furnace, she then put me on hold without telling me. After she left me speak I explain that my heater was blowing warm air and wanted to have looked at because it was recently installed and wanted to see it was working properly before winter approached. I asked her if there was going to be a fee and she said no because it came with one year guarantee to come and look and to fix it if there was a problem and a 10 year guarantee for parts with the manufacture. Amanda told me that she was going to put me on the schedule for that same day or the next day. I was waiting for them to call me before they showed up so I could off known when to expect them. They showed up that same day at 7:30 pm, without calling or anything. The technician checked my furnace unit and said it was working properly, so they left. 20 min after they left, they came back to tell that I needed to pay for the service call because nothing was wrong with my furnace. The technician Marvin said that per his boss I was supposed to pay the service call $89.99 but since they were already in route doing calls I had to pay $40, I thought it was so weird so I told Marvin that I was going to call in the AM to see what was going on. I called this morning asking to speak to their billing dept or customer service to dispute a charge. This RUDE! Amanda person answer the phone again like always being RUDE! and speaking over me and not letting me explain the situation, so she was upset for no reason even do I was trying to voice my concern nicely. After getting tired of speaking to me and cutting me off she was like dont worry about it which confused me even more. I responded wow you are so rude and she responded back so are you and hanged the phone up on me, which doesnt surprise me she lacks of work ethics and professionalism. In this company employees are so incompetent nobody knows to do their job or wants to do it the right way. If Amanda doesnt like her job and is so miserable being there she should find another job, or just get FIRED! for not doing her job. I wanted to speak to the supervisor or owner but it seems like these people dont want me to speak to someone above them. Do not hire this company they lack of professionalism and employees are so rude!

Ac unit was installed by airpro a little over a year ago. I assumed it was under warranty when i called to have someone come look at it since it was not cooling properly, i was never told warranty expired I even talked to a couple of people prior to having someone come out to my house. After tech was done then asked did they tell you about the service charge for coming out? Not once was it mentioned to me that there would be a service charge and when i mentioned it to whoever called to collect payment she was very dismissive and rude. any other company i have used in the past has given the common courtesy to let you know if and around how much it will be to just come out and look at your problem, and give you the opportunity to find better pricing and options. Will not be calling them for any future issues!

First of all, I would like to give them a A for effort, but businesses are judged on results. Unfortunately their efforts came early not recently. They installed a new AC system for me several years ago, but now they refuse to come out and fix it.The person that fields the service calls seems to be the gate keeper. When I was getting no where with her I asked multiple times to speak to the owner. My calls went unreturned by him.When I call up for annual service, the usual ploy is to say that you have not paid last years service bill. This is the bill that the service tech always collects a check on before he leaves. On the phone I give the gate keeper the check number from last year which was cashed.There are outstanding warranty issues that Air Pro simply doesnt want to deal with.Life is too short. So I have moved on to another service provider.Unfortunately I cannot recommend them. Started out nice. But did not come through in the end.

My A/C lasted less than two years after they installed it, and when I tried to get repairs, they were awful. Raised the price three times on me until it wasnt worth dealing with them anymore. If you have to use them, make sure you get your price in writing the first time. Absolutely terrible experience.

Very good job and extremely competitive price. When it turned out my 23 year old unit needed to be replaced (compressor failed) I dreaded what the cost would be - people I knew who had had their central AC replaced had said they had paid $9000 or more. When Air Pro quoted me their price I had to keep asking That is for the outside unit and a new coil? - I couldnt believe it. The cost was a fraction of what I had thought it would be and the new unit works very well.

These guys were hired by my home contractor to put in my air conditioning unit and it is never worked correctly. I havent even been at this house for a year yet and theyve probably been out here five or six times to fix it from freezing over. Do not hire these people if you actually want your AC unit to work properly. The tech people are nice but they obviously dont know how to do their job.

I called Air Pro under the impression that my AC had gone out. The technician found that the electric to the house was not getting enough voltage. The owner of Air Pro went out of his way to help me through the process of calling the electric company in order to cut off the power, as well as put me in contact with an electrician. I greatly appreciate his time and help. Thank you!!

I bought a used refurbished AC unit (outside) and had a part replaced in the inside until. AC (outside and installed was 800 and part for the inside was 600) Not a bad deal at all. 3 months later the inside and outside were frozen solid. Call Air Proo and was 2 week out of warranty.the came out and said I needed a whole new inside unit...1500 $. . Hust think that if I just spent 699 on the inside I wouldnt have to get a whole new unit inside...just my opinion. First encounter with Air Pro was great. Second not so much...

I do not see how these guys stay in existence. They were sloppy, made a mess, and left a mess. Then they forgot to turn a screw on my outside air conditioner box and that gave me an incredible bill which I have never yet matched. After I got my bill they came out with Michael( The only guy that seems to know what he is doing ) and he found the problem and turned the screw and it was running well after that. They also come out with ex-convicts and do not tell you their status. My take on this company is that they send out people that are not really qualified and if there was a problem they bring in the only qualified guy on their payroll, Michael, and he will fix the problem.

The technicians are always friendly and helpful, but one of the customer service reps, Brenda, is very rude and kind of condescending. She kept insisting that she had informed me of a fee that I had not heard anything about until the technician informed me when he was already at the house! If she had indeed informed me of the fee beforehand, I would’ve said “Never mind, don’t send someone out,” but she said that it was “absolutely not true” that I didn’t know about it. She doesn’t seem to know how to talk to customers politely and respectfully, and it’s extremely off-putting. I don’t believe the “customer is always right” mentality, but I also don’t think you should be rude and insist that what they’re saying is “absolutely not true.”

K.Austin, TX8/26/2012I had these guys come out last year to fix my AC after it started blowing hot & they replaced the compressor after thinking that was the problem. 11 months later & my AC is blowing hot again. Ive put in 3 calls now for a callback to have someone help us out but no one has yet to respond. I put in a call last evening, this morning & again around noon. I think thats more than enough time to allow for a callback. My wife & I stayed in a hotel last night & will be again tonight because our house temp now reads at 94 degrees. Why have an emergency line number if your staff blows off calling customers back? That is the worst, to operate a business & not have the respect of at least calling back to talk or arrange for an appointment. I dont like being kept in limbo, especially about not being able to be in my own home. It makes me suspicious of the work they performed a little less than a year ago & pending their response (still waiting for that response) this incident may need to be reported to proper establishments beyond just this review...

They installed the a/c in my double wide back in 2001, never has worked rite, in the beginning there was not sufficient return air and it kept freezing up, and they would not come back and take care of it. So I had another opening cut in for return air, that fixed the freezing up problem, but evaporator coil was already damaged from freezing up, now Im having more problems, and come to find out they installed 5 ton unit outside and a 3 ton unit inside. What a bunch of crooks

Hired air pro to do land improvements and install ac,septic and elec. So far all elec is working fine but only been in the house about a week. Land inprovements are the worst job i have even seen. Front yard was graded off in a bowl shape stands full of water when it rains. Paid a few thousand dollars for a driveway that was already flat all we got was some dirt thrown on top of the land now thats muddy and full of water. Dead trees a few feet from back of house wasnt cut down, now i cant cut because theyre to close to house. Installed some nice steps but i cant open my screen door while standing on the top step without falling backwards.I dont know who the owner Gene hired to do the work but i could have got much better results somewhere else. Oh and by the way they want come to the phone if you call and they never return messages unless its in their favor. Stay away from airpro for land improvements.

Ive used AirPro many times. If you are looking at other companies, comparing prices, value, etc., I encourage you to pick AirPro. They install top of the line equipment in a timely manner. Most importantly, when AirPro says they are going to be there... they show up! I am not sure if they cost more or less than competitors but if you want it done right the first time, and done when they say... pick AirPro.

What a mess - caused major leak in ceiling, sold wrong size heating unit, no clue how to work the carrier thermostat properly, multiple trips to fix leaks and then Brenda admits her staff are not skilled enough to understand the system they sold us and recommending we go elsewhere for our service maintenance. This place does not know how to install the air properly in one year my air froze three times the third time it was barely a year and 6 days after they installed it and they told me that it no longer had a warranty and I had to pay to fix it. A place that does good work, I dont think that in a year and 6 days you would have to pay to fix an air conditioner that if you saw it installed properly you wouldnt have to spend. Look for another place if you want to put air in your house, let this place be the last option.
