Best AC service in Texas. I bought a house with new outside unit and old inside unit. When my AC went out in the middle of Texas summer these came out found that my inside unit was damaged and was leaking freon. They took me up into the attic and showed me what the problem was and made sure I was good with the fix. They replaced the unit and charged me barely more than what it cost them for the parts. These guys dont rely on gimmicks like other guys. They come fix whats wrong and dont make anything up like other businesses with gimmicky 50 dollars inspections. On top of all that there customer service is top notch. You wont find a better HVAC crew in town.

Charles has installed a new unit for us & added coolant. I highly recommend him & have recommended him to my family as well. This is a good, honest Christian company.

Horrible service. We paid for a brand-new Amana condensing unit heat pump and Goodman air handler to the tune of $7,500. It has repeatedly broken. Chill Out has been to the house to repair it multiple times, each time with a new excuse as to why the condensing unit fails: a defective part (which failed again after replacement), power overload, and now dryer air near the condensing unit (which never affected it in the past and which was not even present when it most recently failed). When I called for service, I was told I will get back to you without any estimated date of resolution. Do not use these people if you value your time, your money, and your sweat glands.

I call and waiting 1 hour they were here and repair my AC. Very good service and good price. I highly recommend them

We were in a time crunch due to a wedding. He took care of our A/C repair. Very helpful, prompt service. This was on a 90 degree day with his work schedule overloaded. He now has us as a permanent client. Call Chill Out, their pros.

Chill Out Hvac did an amazing job at my business. Found the problem with my AC unit and I’ve never had any more problems with it. Very knowledgeable, professional. I highly recommend them.

Called in a service call to get my new Goodman 2 ton packaged HVAC unit checked over. This unit was not installed by Chill out A/C & Heating.To me it seemed not to be blowing as cold as it should. Asked the guys that came out if they could check its Freon level to make sure it wasnt low. Asked them a number of times and they refused to check it. They said it comes pre-charged from the factory and they arent suppose to open up the system. Had their gauges there and everything. The whole point of them coming out was to check the Freon!They were nice enough to rewire the blower motor according to specs on the unit to distribute more air into the house. Increased its speed from low to high. Still it is unable to cool the house down during the daytime. They told me the ducting is undersized and needs to be larger and this is why its unable to cool the house. No way to get larger ducting under that house due to all the supports, plumbing and it only being three feet off the ground.I have two homes on my property. The home the new Goodman 2 ton unit was installed is 984 square feet and was built in 1947. Restoring it for my mother to move into so she can be close to family here in Texas! The house she will be moving into has 8 foot ceilings, three beds, one small bath, small kitchen and combined living/dining room. Each room has one vent and the combined living/dining room has two vents. Not a very big house. House also has new wiring, plumbing, fixtures, installation etc. The ducting is a straight shot from the HVAC unit down the middle of the house. Also is a straight shot for the cold air return! Cold air return vent/filter are located in hallway. Also in this house is a 12,000 BTU window unit. The window unit does a better job cooling down the house then the 2 ton Goodman Packaged unit does! Wanted to upgrade the house to central heating and AC and get rid of the window unit to make it more comfortable for my mom.The second house on my property that I live in is 1,450 square feet and its central heating and AC system does great and keeps it cool all day even when its 100 degrees out. The funny part is its AC has even smaller ducting than the Goodman system has. So the size of ducting does not make since to me. Why is it I need even larger ducting on the Goodman system in the other smaller house when the ducting in the house I live in is twice as small and the house is even larger? In my house I can stand by a vent for a few minutes and feel frozen. In the other house that has the Goodman 2 ton I can stand by a vent and never feel frozen.Started investigating and realized there was this white oily substance on the bottom of the HVAC system in the packaged unit. It has been identified as Compressor oil. This means there is a leak in the system and means there is an issue with the Compressor. Have had issues from the beginning with the Goodman Packaged unit. Not impressed with Goodman at all. Told the company we purchased it from to come and get it. Purchase from another business a better brand and built Packaged HVAC unit to replace the defective one. Went ahead and purchased a slightly larger 2.5 ton unit just to make sure it will cool the house better. Keep in mind the floor plan on the 1947 house is not as open as the floor plans are today on newer homes.If the guys from Chill Out A/C & Heating would have just checked the Freon level they would have realized it was low and possibly found the leak and problem with the Compressor as well. The problem here wasnt the ducting it was the HVAC unit. Both HVAC Techs were so sure of themselves and knew they were right that they refused to come back out on a second $75.00 service call to check the Freon level. Didnt even bother to call us back or schedule a time to come by or anything. Thanks a lot guys!
