If you need repairs, move on from this place. i have been waiting for 3 months to get my fridge fixed. Took two weeks to get them to come out to look at a new fridge less than 7 months old at the time, But he was only their less than 5 minutes but some how new exactly what parts needed to be ordered. That was over a month ago. Then when parts finally arrived they call to show up to install parts but nobody was home because we were not told the parts had arrived or to schedule the install so its our fault we were not home. Then when we scheduled the parts install on the date & time they gave us they dont call or show up. I had to call to find out that the only tech they have is out sick and we have to wait another week. I wish someone would have told me to look at the reviews first. So i hope others see this before they make the same mistake.

We went with Cole Air when replacing our indoor AC/furnace unit. They were the middle of the road quote at 11k for a multistage energy efficient system. Unit was replaced and over 2 years Cole Air had to come back 13 times to fix things. At one point they recommended me to call a plumber, and the front office lady told me it was my fault for not keeping up with the maintenance and the manager said he didnt want to deal with me when I asked to speak with him. After the unit quit working again, we called a different company who came out and found that the whole thing was wired incorrectly. Since then, we havent had any issues.

Cole AC was contacted to repair my brand new Maytag washer in November 2022. They didnt make their first visit until December 2022 and when they did they said I needed a new control board and wiring harness. It literally took 4 months to get those parts in!!!! So in March 2023 2 technicians came to install those new parts. At this point I dont even believe they replaced those 2 parts especially with how quick they did it. Well in May 2023 I finally felt comfortable enough to try a large load that had my blanket and sheets in it. Sure enough the washer stopped when it was time to drain which was the original problem in November. So I contacted Cole AC and they said they couldnt do anything bc it was 30 days from the repair. So I took it upon myself to take the back panel of the washer off and look. There was a wire just hanging so I put it back where it obviously went and taped it there. Well everytime I do a large load it gets knocked off and I have to get down on hands and knees to tape it back. Only now thats not even working. Ive taped it back but it still wont work. Called Cole AC and they said to contact whirlpool. Whirlpool isnt the one who did the shoddy job. Cole AC did the shoddy job and they do not care enough to fix it. This is your warning. If you use them do not expect them to have any integrity and stand by their work.

In July, we bought a washer from Coles and the had a wonderful experience. Upon walking in store, two people asked how they could help. Dana, I hope I remember her name correctly, showed me the washers available. She stated she would have to go look information about them up since she usually didnt do sales but the other lady was out of the office. Dana was super nice, patient, and answered any and all questions. Bought a washer and was told Judy would have to call to set a time to be delivered because she was gone to lunch. Never received a call, I called back the next day and spoke with Judy who sounded like she was in a rush to get off the phone and was very short with responses. I let it slide. Time was set. The two young gentlemen that delivered the washer were friendly, informative and made sure it worked before leaving. They even took off two old washers we had! Loved them and would give those guys 5 stars!Returned to the store today, September 12 to buy a refrigerator. Judy greeted me when I walked in but had the most sour look on her face like she was disgusted when I told her i just wanted to look at her refrigerators at the moment, and I would get someone to help if I had questions. She gave another sour face and said ok. There was another employee on his cell phone by the refrigerators and looked annoyed that I came in and he walked out, never smiling or saying a word to me. I promptly left and will not be buying from them again. I dont know what happened to the customer service there but maybe getting younger people in the sales department would be beneficial because the older ones are grumpy and unprofessional.

We had used Cole’s for years with AC, refrigerator and service for ice machine after my husband had died. First year an older gentleman did great, next year a young kid was sent out to service ice machine and failed to insure drainage hose was connected. I noticed the ice recycle was making noise. If my house was on slab I would have know quickly but it peer and beam. So until I went under the house and saw the large puddle of water was draining. The office wouldn’t except it was something the technician create. Therefore, i went to their office paid them off and I’ve never looked back. Hope they’re happy. Other than my wood floor buckled, wood under house is rotted and will need to be replaced because of the water leakage and is an expensive repair! Wouldn’t call Cole’s if they were the only company in town!

I have been a customer for 27 years and was well satisfied with them until now. Our unit went out and the serviceman stated it would probably be fixed the next day provided parts were in stock. The good news was the parts were on warrantee. When I called the next day I was told the parts were in stock and ordered and as soon as they came in they would be out to fix the problem. I told them I had a severally handicapped wife on oxygen who is unable to leave the house and expressed my concern about the urgency of the situation. One week after the unit went out and temperatures in the 90s, we are still waiting and now I’m told one part is on backorder. In this day and age with ability to do next day shipping and track packages, I am given the excuse the parts on backorder and someone elses fault besides them. I now have to deal with another weekend with high 80s to low 90s forecast, waiting for Monday and hopefully unit repair. No service and out $500 for a window unit I bought to keep at least one bedroom cool so my wife could at least sleep at night. There is no way they should have been given Small Business of the year.

Robert came out and installed a new capacitor and hard start kit. He was knowledgeable, fast and friendly. He also checked the refrigerant and offered some tips to keep the AC running smoothly. I would do business with Cole Air again.

I called Cole Air Conditioning & Appliance Co this morning regarding an error message on the thermostat to one of my heating and cooling units and a technician, Mr. Sloan, was here before lunch and sorted the issue out very quickly(probably his norm after 19 years with the company I believe he mentioned). I have used Cole AC for over 20 years and am happy with their service.

I have been dealing with Cole’s air-conditioning for the last 35 years. In that time, I have purchased two 5 ton Trane air conditioners. All those years I have received wonderful service, great value, professionalism and incredible competence from everybody associated with Coles. This includes the people that answer the phone, the people that come out and do the work, and the sales people on the floor. Today late in the afternoon my wife and I returned home to find the house hot. I made a call to Cole’s air conditioning and appliance thinking it was maybe too late in the day to get any help on 100° day I was wrong. They schedule me a service technician to come out, and Robert was there within an hour and a half. Trane air conditioners are incredibly efficient and durable, the two that I purchased in the last 35 years have lasted an average of 17 years and were working good when I change them out only because I was looking for more efficiency. Luckily, the problem on today’s malfunction was a simple capacitor. Robert diagnosed it and changed it out within minutes explaining that capacitors do wear out and are particularly susceptible to heat duress on very hot days for extended periods of time. The house was back cool within two hours and the charge was incredibly reasonable. Bottom line: if you want good service, good products, and good folks that know what they’re doing and know how to treat other people, call Cole’s air conditioning and appliance and you’ll get all of that.

My parents bought an Amana refrigerator that cost a little over 800$ within a month the freezer seal was failing off so called and told them. A female employee said she would order it, a month later and I called back was told it had not arrived, 3 weeks later they still had not contacted us so I called the part was there but we had to buy the new seal and then also pay a tech to come install it!!! What a joke! So I managed to kinda repair it and WILL NOT SUPPORT COLES EVER AGAIN AND WILL MAKE SURE I TELL OTHERS TO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH COLES.its sad that a local company will treat customers this way!? it was a brand new refrigerator!!! I guess they do not stand behind their products.thx coles

My AC went out and Cole Air Conditioning was referred to us with a positive guarentee that they would do excellent work and fix any and all problems.I can say that was not true.I will say they did came to my home in a timely manner.Mr B (he knows who he is) was the man that came out. He looked at my inside unit and decided it was low on freon. He put in 2 lbs and then said hed do a leak check. He did a bubble check. You certainly dont want me to tell you how I feel about that!! He had to borrow dish soap because he didnt have any!He went outside and decided to clean around my unit. Not sure why because I had just cleaned it myself the week before. Again, he borrowed my water hose! (Seriously)He came back in looked at the unit again and said he had just came out from under my house doing a bubble check. Really?? When he came in he smelled like a cigarette! He handed me a tablet to sign and gave me the amount owed. His service definitely was not worth $250!He said call him in a few weeks if we need him again.Wow.....two weeks later I had to call him because my unit froze up again. I called first thing the next morning and just happened to speak with Mr B, Talk about rude....he actually hung up on me after I rescheduled for him to come back.ALWAYS, listen to your gut. I called back and canceled him out and called another company that was promt, curious and respectful.The man that came out from the other company shook my hand and introduced himself and told me what company he was with, all that before even coming into my home. I explained the situation to him and the FIRST thing he did was get his AC Sniffer, NOT bubbles and found immediately that my A Coil was leaking on both sides. He explained what should be done, the cost, the time, etc and let me decide what I wanted to do.Maybe Coles should use this as an example how employees are to treat customers and be honest as well as have the proper equipment to perform the tests that need to be done. Wish I would have called the second company first! I will never use Coles again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Cole arrived this morning with a part for my Wolf Range. Two technicians arrived and were uncertain how to remove the front to replace a part. Since I am familiar with the range having seen it worked on before, I showed them. I watched as one guys electric drill was slipping and screws were falling to the floor. They finally removed the screws with the exception of the part to be replaced. One guy said wow look at all those screws. They were making me nervous so I suggested they call the Wolf tech dept. Wolf is a wonderful company to deal with and is very supportive of people working on their product. The response was lady do you want me to put this back together and leave? I told them no, but was nervous and explained the first time my range was worked on the technician sent set the electrical control board on fire which had to be replaced. After telling them that they started putting the range back together, screw driver slipping and manged to get the knobs on wrong to where even the gas would not light and some of the knobs were not turn. They eventually got the gas knobs aligned and left. I immediate called Wolf who were very understanding and will be sending a different company tech familiar with Wolf. I live out in the country and therefore am at the mercy of people who most often are not familiar with a Wolf range. When it comes to Cole Appliance, I would advise you to find ANYONE ELSE. THESE GUYS ARE RUDE AND LOUSY TO BOOT. I believe if they had replaced the part I would have sustained additional damage to my range. Please, if others have had an experience with this company, please give a review. People need to be warned. From reading the other review, it appears a number if suits have been filed and I can understand why.

On 6/3/09 Cole installed new Trane condenser unit at mothers house ($2,739). On 9/20/12 Cole installed new Air Handler at residence ($3,300). On 1/14/17 Cole Technician quoted $3,200 (WOW) to repair/replace compressor with a 1 year warranty or, replace the whole unit with a 10 warranty for $5,000. I told my mother (76 years old) dont do anything, repair cost was excessive, and $11,039 for AC equipment in 7 1/2 years was unheard of. I called 2 other AC businesses and gave them her units model No. & Serial No. I was quoted a maximum of $2,600 for compressor replacement. However, I was informed they had spoken to Trane and confirmed her unit/model was still under a 10 year manufacturers warranty and the unit could be repaired for around $500-600. The Co. we picked did the job for $680 and informed us it was still under a manufacturers warranty for 2 more years. I have all documentation. Ive reported my and my elderly mothers experience with this Co. to The Federal Trade Commission, Texas Attorney General office, various online reviews and last, the BBB
