Spent lots of money on new capacitor with this company. Two weeks later, there was another problem and they found a new capacitor kit was needed.Our repairman (had the same one for both encounters) provided excellent customer service. However, after the second encounter, the owner was completely unprofessional, unethical, and became upset that our repairman educated us on the parts that were in need of repair. Owner hung up all upset on my husband first, and then didn’t take my call or let me leave a voicemail when I tried to intervene and speak up for our repairman.Owner obviously does not treat his employees OR customers well. It’s not fair to cut a paying customer off because you’re pissed at the repairman.If you appreciate honesty and good customer service, don’t use this company.P.S. Simply had a question about installation pricing, don’t know where you got that we tried to fix it ourselves.How could we schedule/order/initiate a recommended repair (the day after declining it for that day because time was needed to secure funds for repair), when you just hang up on my husband out of frustration with your repairman AND then intentionally ignore my calls?We were established customers who had paid for your service/a new capacitor two weeks prior, to be treated like this was completely unacceptable & unprofessional. You could have simply explained to my husband on that phone call that your company only installs your own parts for warranty purposes. That shouldn’t have come in a reply to a bad review after the fact.

They went out of business and didnt bother to tell any of us.Now who do we call? Chase and Andrew came out to my house to perform the winter maintenance on my AC unit. They are very efficient, friendly and they know exactly what they are doing at all times. In the past I have had Alden Air install a new AC unit in my home. It has worked beautifully and I have saved quite a bit of money with its efficiency. I will never let anyone else touch my AC!! I have been a customer of Alden Air for over 10 years.

Weve used Aldens Air for a number of years and they have always provided terrific service! We have the yearly service contract and they come out twice a year to make sure we are ready for the heat or the cold by doing an inspection and filter change. We find them to be friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt!So happy we have them to call when we need help. Great people doing a great job!

Alden Air Conditioning recently replaced one air conditioner and furnaces for our 32 year old home. They provided many options and gave detailed explanations about the pros and cons of each option while also being sensitive to my budget. Several teams were involved in the delivery of equipment and installation and all displayed courtesy and professionalism. I appreciated that they were careful when bringing in the new equipment and removing the old. Much of the large equipment had to be manipulated through the attic access inside the house. Every question throughout the process was cheerfully and knowledgeably answered by the team. The work was completed in a very timely manner and everything works great! I would highly recommend Alden Air.

The tech arrived in uniform and on time. He checked both units and reported that both units were working properly. He also replaced one of the filters and said that the other one was still clean. He was very professional and we will use Alden again in the future.

I have been Alden A/C customer for more than 40 years. They always do their best to provide efficient and professional service. They treat me as a member of their family. Even in the evening or weekend, they still do their best to send technicians to come as soon as possible to provide quality service.

Our A/C quit blowing cold and I suspected the culprit to be the capacitor for the outside unit. The folks here at Alden talked me through the problem and offered several solutions. Eventually, I took the capacitor to their shop where they checked it for free and determined that it was, in fact, bad. They sold me a replacement for a reasonable price and sent me out the door, but not before clearly explaining the wiring and even labeling the terminals for me. When I got home, I ran into a small issue and called them once again. They walked me through the resolution and made sure I was taken care of. This is how you earn repeat business. They placed me above profits. I am a customer for life after this experience. Thank you Alden!

I can not say enough good things about Alden Air. “The entire staff of Alden Air is very friendly, responsive, helpful and treats you like family. Especially techs Andrew & Chase all the way to Jennifer at the front desk and Roger the owner. I give 10 STARS! My techs Andrew and Chase explain the maintenance/upkeep my 22 year old unit has, always do what just needed to keep my work horse operating, no extra sales, and have never tried to sell me a new. They offer an very economical yearly maintenance program. I finally found a company who is truthful, honest and fair and values customer service! : )

I have had Alden Air for 30 years now and have gone through two Heat Pump replacements (one just this week). Roger and Glen have been very professional, knowledgable, and honest in recommending and explaining the systems to me. Roger came out once himself last summer when I was out of town and he and his techs fixed the problem. Thats when he indicated I may be needing a new unit before long! The staff is very helpful and the technicians have always been there to maintain my unit and make honest repair recommendations.

This company is criminally overcharging people who they know are stuck between a rock and a hard place if their A/C goes out in this extreme Texas heat. Charging a $130 diagnostic fee just to show up and fix your issue. On top of that if you do have an issue that they have diagnosed that they can fix, they refuse to apply any portion of the diagnostic fee whatsoever to the final invoice. I literally had a $5.00 fuse that needed replacing. They charged me $250. The issue took less than 30 minutes to repair. The price to install a Google nest, a relatively simple job that would likely take less than 30 minutes also obscenely exorbitant. Alden air conditioning would do well to stop bilking their customers who they have over a barrel in this heat. Never again will I request their services and you shouldnt either.

I purchased a maintenance agreement and was not satisfied with the results..They tried to upsale me on their first visit .With a start-up capacitor. Then they left theCap of the service valves making a leak faiure during the FreezeGodzila.They did come out and made that good.This is a heat pump system. Then, I found out the electric heating element did not work. They never checked this on theirMaintenance visit. Call for my other Maintenance inspection, and the nerer cameAfter 3 calls!!!This was 3 years ago.I hope they have improved.

Roger is professional, understanding and prompt! They actually did our conversion for us in 2016; we’re now selling our home & Roger was able to help us with the inspection list within 72 hours! Him and his techs then went above & beyond, we feel very lucky! If you’re looking for residential HVAC service or installation do not hesitate to call Alden! I bought a new air conditioner in April 2022, and the company that installed it, made a bad mistake they did not connect the heat element. First cold front i had no heat, but Alden air came the same day, the company is the best and service was restored . I plan on using them always, they are now my goto company!!!! Wendy Glover

The technician’s for Alden Air Conditioning were timely and polite. We purchased a service agreement from them and that is when things went south.We were told that we would be contacted to setup our first service and filter change in the spring time; well, that never happened. My first call to inquire about the agreement fail on deaf ears. The lady answering the phone took my information and I never received a call back. I then followed up a couple of weeks later and felt like I was being forced to PROVE that they weren’t providing service. I was told the office manager would call me back and that didn’t happen in a time frame I felt was adequate. Finally, I called back and talked to the office manager and she confirmed that my service agreement had been overlooked. I felt like she sounded annoyed that she was having to deal with their error. Needless to say, I am done with Alden Air Conditioning.

ALDEN Air has been servicing my office and residential ACs for a while now. I find their technicians to be very professional, respectful and honest. They wear real masks without being reminded against COVID-19 at job site. When I called the office for an AC problem recently, they immediately arranged and dispatched a capable technician who checked, identified the leaks and took care of the problem at a reasonable rate. I am satisfied with their service and highly recommend this company for your AC service needs.

My A/C unit is about 16 years old and has given me trouble the last 3 years. Ive had several companies out and have found Alden Air Conditioning to be my preference. Carlos has been out several times and has always done a great job of telling me straight up the lowest cost way to get it running again and what else may be going wrong next. Ralph came out this last time and quickly discovered my air handlers electrical board was shot. He got a new one put in and weve got A/C again. He politely explained to me that my whole system is wearing out and that sooner or later Ill need to replace the whole thing or get nickle and dimed on a regular basis. He had Glenn call me with some pricing on different options and Im sure Ill use them when that day comes. Roger is the owner and Ive spoken to him several times. These guys are good, timely and always shoot me straight. Call them.

We called after ours and we had technician Chase come out. He was a very friendly guy that knew what he was doing and helped solve our problem! They are a great company, that will fit in your schedule they are extremely friendly and professional, don’t hesitate to call them when needed!

Im a DYI kind of guy. And the good folks at Alden have been very helpful at finding AC parts that would have been impossible to EXACTLY match shopping online.Returning calls timely, and making follow-up contact is something I wish the company I work for would do.And supporting a local family business is very satisfying.

It was a late Saturday afternoon in July and the tech, Chase, was at our house within 2 hours on what had been a very busy day. The issue was identified and fixed immediately. The cost was more than fair and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend them!

A business with integrity, imagine that! I called Alden due to a home standby generator problem. After a quick diagnostic, they advised me that repair would be premature based on the pricy replacement part from Generac. When the time comes, Im calling Alden for my HVAC and home standby generator service.

Today was 108 outside and this evening my AC started blowing room temperature air out. I went into panic mode and was worried that no one would be able to come out tonight as it was already 730pm. I called Aldean and within an hour Ian arrived. It turns out my outside unit needed cleaning (probably debris from the lawncare). I work in customer service for a major airline. I cant say enough great things about Ian. He addressed all my questions and was great to talk to. Hes a super nice guy and very professional! I immediately signed up for the yearly maintenance service. If I could rate Aldean higher than five stars I would! Highly recommend!

They responded immediately to my request. Quickly restored service and were gone. I had a question about the invoice and spoke with them. They looked at the invoice and promptly corrected a code input error. I recommend Alden.

Probably the only ac company left that has integrity. They will actually fix things and give you honest advice, without the typical high pressure salesy hvac shenanigans. I would recommend them to anybody!

Alden installed a Generac generator for me. They were very responsive, honest and handled all the subcontractor issues very well so that it was seamless to me. I would recommend their services.

Alden Air is the best AC company in the metroplex. The staff is professional and courteous. They replaced my ducts, maintain my AC and are always there to help. Dont hesitate. Call them . You will not be disappointed.

I have had to call on this company twice now and both times they have immediately gotten somebody out to me (even at nearly midnight the first time I called them). They have explained exactly what the problem was each time and repaired it quickly. Repair techs have always been professional. There is no other company I would call at this point and would gladly recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent service. Had 3 service calls in the past month. First call was to let unit Un-freeze and tech diagnosed cause as a faulty wiring panel on the inside unit. I enrolled in their annual service agreement at this time. 2nd visit was to replace the wiring panel and add 1 lb of Freon. 3rd call was 4 days later. A/C not working again. Roger the owner himself came out on a Saturday at 5pm and investigated the outside unit which apparently had a short that was preventing the unit from operating. This short was has caused by a GEKKO that had crawled inside and crossed the contact points, now charred. Once Roger got rid of his tiny crisp carcass, he reattached freshly stripped contact wires, house is cool again.Will be a loyal customer from now on. Alden ROCKS

A technician charged $800 to “repair” our AC a few weeks ago. It’s not working, we’re sitting in a house with no air conditioning and we’ve received no responses to messages left regarding this situation.
