Great experience with Minuteman. Alan called ahead to let us know he was on his way. Very professional and extremely pleasant to work with. He serviced are warehouse heater and gave suggestions on what we needed to do before firing it up. Alan’s people skills are of the chart good. I would highly recommend Minuteman

A/C technician came early, good, and while he was giving the A/C a tune up he found problems with the routing of the ductwork which had been installed when the house was built 32 years ago. I’ve had three other AC companies do work on my ACs and nobody else has pointed that out. He took pictures to show me what was going on and pictures of everything that he did during the tuneup and nobody else has ever done that. I now will use Minuteman AC for all my AC needs. They are great.

Miguel was professional, knowledgeable and thorough! Our unit is 26 years old and he did not hard sell us. We need a new unit and we will go to Minuteman for our first quote. Miguel was also timely and neat and clean. Excellent experience!

We had the pleasure of having Chris and Craig as our 6 mo. AC check up professionals. They were very professional with a side of true southern charm. All my concerns were addressed; they provided suggestions for the best results for my air quality as I deal with Lupus and a heart transplant; as well as a few heart warming stories shared between us. Minuteman H&AC responded quickly to my request for help. My AC was making loud noises that I couldnt identify. I requested an emergency response and they were out at 8 am on a Sunday. Conrado was quick and efficient to troubleshoot, made recommendations for repair and had it fixed in 15 minutes. Great service, great response time. I highly recommend their annual membership. It has been well worth the low monthly fee.

In 2020 we experienced an issue with a leak of antifreeze. We researched several Heating & Air companies in the area and decided to do business with Minutemen. We were told that a new until would be needed. So we purchased a new until and with this unit they would come out and service throughout the warranty. They came and not one time did they ever give a bad report. Fast forward to 2024 our warranty expired in July or August 2024, but my husband is using them for servicing, because to our understanding everything is great and no issues. They come out in October 2024 for servicing and now we have a problem with our until NOT COOLING. My unit will not cool past 78. Now they are wanting us to pay almost $2k for repairs. How does a practically new until already bring issues??? No extreme weather changes to bring on issues. It worked fine til the technician comes out after our warranty has expired. Which brings me to wonder did the previous techs not properly do an accurate servicing and the last tech actually did finding an issue??? Or did the last tech do something incorrectly and blame us for the issue? Im so angry right now!!! Our previous unit was here when home was built in 2008 and unit lasted til 2020. Is this a scheme to get more money out of us?

Met Philip from Minuteman Heating & Air at a community festival. Great personality and front person for the company. Was offering a free system service in a drawing and was lucky enough to win. Sent his team out they inspected my system from top to bottom and gave me some maintenance tips for the future. What a great way to build relationships and future business. Absolutely the “Best” AC service company I have ever experienced. They took on the Manufacture and pointed out a flaw in the software. Got the equipment into perfect order and working as it should. First company was not listening to our complaints and ignored the problem. Minuteman went to bat for their new customer and made a happy client.

A big shout out to Chad Higginbotham and and to Julian Martinez for their hard work in fixing a problem with our Carrier air conditioner. For several summer our air conditioner was making a loud noise at the end of each cycle, loud enough to wake us up at night. We had another company come out and said there was nothing that could be done. This is a 3 year old unit still under warranty. We talked with Minuteman at Frog Alley before a TCU game in their booth and they said to call and they would help us. They came out at least four times to try different solutions. At one point they tried something that still did not work after truly believing it would. Julian continued to persevere . He made calls, we all contacted Carrier and a solution was found. This company never gave up. They were determined to find a solution. We had paid for one part that ended up NOT being the solution so they put that amount of money toward the solution that worked and did not charge us for both. And they did not charge us for the labor at each of these visits. I cannot say enough about them. They truly care about customer satisfaction which is rare these days.

Very fast response from company - not onlysame day but also hours earlier than the appointed time - Sergio was as nice as he was expert at air conditioning. He listened to our issues and quickly analyzed both the inner and outer units. He was thorough in hisexplanations and promptly had the AC running . Horrible, horrible drivers. Speeding, tailgating, weaving in and out of cars, you name it. You would think someone driving a company vehicle would take more pride considering they are advertising their place of employment. I was switching lanes so I could go around a car in front of me but as I was getting over your employee (who was already tailgating) decided to get over at the same exact time time to try and beat me switching lanes. In doing so your employee nearly rear ended my car (in your company vehicle) which would have caused me to crash into the car in front of me. I was already halfway over into the lane but your employee kept accelerating to prevent me from fully getting over. I retreated to avoid getting into an accident caused by your employee. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this same van driving erratically either. Do something about it please! The number on the back of the van was TACLB27460E. This occurred Monday morning around 6:15 am on 1187 in Crowley going towards Mansfield.

Kyle and Sergio were so helpful and professional. They were very patient and went above and beyond what was expected to inspect every part of my HVAC system so that our air conditioning system is working beautifully!!They installed a safety valve too in case theres too much water that it wont leak on the ceiling. We took advantage of their subscription services where they come out every 6 months to inspect the unit. They are reasonably priced! So glad we found them!

Sirgio was not professional. He stood there next to us while we typed in every word he said to put into our review. I’m sure this is the same for these reviews. I was told we could cancel our contract anytime. Now they want everything in full plus the discount we received. Do not mess with this company. Save yourself trouble and go with another company!

I had just came home from a long HOT day at work. I had a task at hand that wasnt possible to accomplish singlehandedly. But with great luck, I meet Chris Gideon. Walking out my neighbors front door. After just fixing their A/C problem. I asked if he wouldnt mind just to lend me a hand and push a car into a garage. With a huge welcoming smile, he said we can see what can happen. If it wasnt for him I wouldnt been able to fix my car to get around. Most importantly with his knowledge of A/C and abilities too repair. I originally filed a claim with my home warranty who sent a company that misdiagnosed the problem. I called Minute Man Heating and Air for a 2nd opinion. I cannot say enough good things about minuteman and Conrado! They are extremely thorough and professional. I was told I needed a compressor by another company after they charged us a hefty bill for parts that never fixed the problem. Conrado got here on time checked it out and sure enough it didn’t need a compressor and showed me how he verified that! I cannot thank you enough for how they handled my situation!

We had an emergency situation (capacitor) on Sunday night before Labor Day. We first called a company we had used for several years and they wouldn’t come until they had an opening. We called MinuteMan and Chris came within 2 hours of calling. He is a very knowledgeable and pleasant guy who fixed our problem and had us sleeping cool last night. We highly recommend him for HVAC service.

Also, you justify a bad product by how hard you worked. The complaint is not about Minutemans effort, this is about the units performance. AC is not cooling properly. It only works a week at a time. We have a legitimate complaint and you are choosing to disregard the fact it doesnt perform. You took 16 thousand dollars from us. That money came from my moms life savings. Now we are stuck with this lousy unit that cant perform and you have proven that you cant fix it. We have no support from you.We very much regret buying this AC unit. We are going to have to eat $16k. Minuteman installed a new $16k Daikin air conditioner/heating last November 2021. The air-conditioning DOESNT work! It allows the temp to go up to the high 80s. Our temp got to 87 last night. Yesterday the temperature outside never broke 100. A $16k unit should work better than that. Now, Minuteman have been out every week all Summer due to AC issues and they were always nice. That is until Craig called me. He chewed me out for expecting the unit to cool down to 66 degrees, that I called even tho theres nothing wrong with it, it is not a refrigerator, its an air conditioner.We are not trying to keep our house at 66. We get it that you can only expect about 20 degrees cooling but it should do better than 87 with outside temps in the 90s!Now, since that call, we feel we no longer have support anymore even though we have a 3 year warranty. That warranty will run out and then we will really be stuck without help. My mom and I agree that as soon as we save up money, were replacing it ASAP but not with Minutemen. We will just have to eat the $16k.The AC is doing the same thing today. Ive posted pictures. Its 08 14 22 @5:40pm. The thermostat is set at 74.

Firstly, Oscar Garcia is an outstanding technician; He instantly diagnosed the problem with my AC unit. He promptly repaired the AC unit with the part already in his company truck. Additionally, he educated me on the importance of a yearly maintenance program- in which I purchased. I would highly recommend Mintueman Heating & Air.

Chino was very professional and knowledgeable in giving me and my family information about our overall air unit and the maintenance of the unit, as well as the plumbing issues that we were experiencing. He told us how to maintain various appliances and we were enlightened by his expertise and knowledge. Also, he was extremely patient and courteous. We will definitely recommend Chino to anyone who is having plumbing or air unit issues. Also, he did a thorough cleaning of our air ducts and he cleaned the area behind our dryer.

Electric Heater Issue: Conrado is an excellent tech. His troubleshooting is fantastic. He was friendly, courteous and professional. Our heating unit was quickly diagnosed and he was able to get two out of three heating elements working. We will need replacement parts for the third element. Our unit is old so there may be an issue with finding them. Conrado is welcome at our house anytime. I highly recommend him and his company for your repair needs. Larry Winter

Very happy with the service! My technician was knowledgeable and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. He did mention the membership plan with 6 months maintenance which I was happy to hear about.

The company was great, called this morning got a tech out very quick same morning. The Tech Sergio was excellent. All parts needed was on his company truck. Very professional and polite. Chris, did an outstanding job on our unit today in Midlothian! He really went the extra mile and caught what two other HVAC companies missed. Great job!

We had to have a new hvac system installed. 05/22 We bought a Daikin system. We also had a duct cleaning performed, an air scrubber installed, & a new damper system put in. We also signed up for the quarterly service. 06/23 During quarterly maintenance, tech informs us of poor air quality and tells us we need a duct cleaning. I said we just had one done a year ago. The next day Chad (service manager) comes out and looks at it and says the tech had faulty equipment. 08/23 The discharge thermistors were faulty, the fuses tested weak, and the compressor was bad. There was an issue with how the system was installed. They replaced the parts all under warranty. It took around two weeks. They provided 2 window units at no charge. 06/24 Upstairs was not cooling, tech came out and the damper needs replaced, it was under warranty & was replaced the next day. The techs that come out have all been very polite, respectful, and efficient. They will charge an $89.00 service fee anytime they come out for anything, even if it’s under warranty. The manager Phillip came out and spoke with me personally about some of the issues I had. Honestly an HVAC system in Texas is going to be a pain in the butt. Overall Minuteman is one of the best HVAC companies around to help you deal with that.

Chris Gideon, the service tech, arrived promptly and was courteous, efficient, and professional. Chris thoroughly inspected the physical system, as well as the digital systems. He communicated effectively and proactively offered us suggestions that would help us to run our equipment more efficiently. Which was great, because it was something I was already going to ask but he beat me to it! Chris was thoroughly knowledgable and educated me on the system itself, maintenance, and services that Minuteman offers. Chris was a pleasure to learn from and I appreciated the added information as it addressed questions regarding duct cleaning, intake housing cleaning, and general system questions. MinuteMan A/C service inspected my A/C and found nothing wrong. Shocking right? It happened. Sergio, was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Service fee was a little high but, not the $39.99 industry gimmick. Highly recommend.

Super fast response time. Sergio was polite and professional, identified the problem quickly, explained it well and made a quick repair and gave some extra pointers.

Got serviced Thursday, 3 days ago. Service was great. Person who was sent out was courteous.He suggested resetting our system (literally pushing a button that costs $110 for his thumb to do) to fix the problem. He said if it doesn’t work then we have to get a part to fix it which would be around $400. Of course reset button didn’t do anything, the next morning we were already experiencing our heater not working again. So now we have to pay the ~$80 for him to drive, the ~$400 for the new part plus the $200 we spent on pushing a button (the push again was $110 but apparently gas is $80). Disappointed because we are back to square one.

Minuteman was very responsive to my need for a technician to fix my HVAC. They dispatched a technician earlier than expected. Sergio explained the issue to me and what was needed to resolve. He answered my questions and made recommendations based on his experience.

We have used Minuteman Heating & Air to install two a/c units in our home. One was a Lennox Heat Pump for the main part of our home, and the other is a DAIKIN mini-split for a room addition. I am the facilities coordinator for the SW Region offices for an international company. I oversee the entire operations, and deal first hand with every contractor for the inside and outside needs of our facilities. Our standards are very high, and Minuteman in all phases has exceeded our expectations, and continue to do so with the maintenance plans we purchased from Minuteman. We could not give a higher recommendation to Minuteman Heating & Air!

Ive had a mixed reception. When I first had my unit fixed by them it broke twice in about 6 months. One time was a speedy fix the other we had to wait a bit. The worst moment was we failed a city inspection do to an unlevel water pan (or something along those lines, I forget the proper term but an overall minor issue).The repairmen have always been great. Our most recent guy was Chris Gideon, who was great and loved our dogs and cats. He made a few recommendations and we ended up doing one more repair with Minuteman.All things considered my wife and I will likely be going with a different company for a while.

Darren was kind and explained everything he did to check the heat pump inside/out.I can trust him when he says “job is so complete”. This means a lot! 8/21/24-Today Sergio was at my home before noon due to air conditioning wouldn’t go below 82 degrees. I really appreciated his prompt response. He quickly got to work checking the inside unit and then the outside unit. He found the inside unit was stoped up. He got to work doing the work to unstop it and I could tell it the minute it was unclogged.

The technician, Miguel Vasquez, was SO helpful. He came out after dark in the middle of a Texas cold front and quickly assessed the issue. Within half an hour of his arrival, we had a diagnosis and a plan for repair. Excellent service! Thank you!

The techs are always courteous, knowledgeable and pleasant. I like how they take the time to explain and answer any questions you may have. I have used this company a few years now. Today my tech was Miguel Vazquez and he did a great job of checking everything out.

AC stopped working. Nest thermostat showed an error code saying the thermostat wasn’t getting power. Minuteman tech troubleshot; identified blown fuse, and replaced. Key learning: even though the issue was electrical, the HVAC professionals are responsible for, and capable of, troubleshooting and electrical repairs that affect the HVAC system. Whew!! Glad to be getting cool again! Cost: less than $200 for visit, troubleshooting, fuse and replacement. Glad to have the Patriot Plan and a professional partner who has the history on my unit. I just want to let you know that the serviceman that came out was very nice and polite. But your dispatch person was very rude. Over-talked me and would not even listen!!! She and I were saying the same thing, but she assumed I was not agreeing to paying the diagnostic fee so that an estimate could be sent to my warranty company. I understood that and was more than willing to pay the $89 for him to see what the problem was so we could submit the estimate for approval. Someone needs to counsel her on customer service!! At least pause the conversation so she can hear what the other person is saying!! Rude!! Rude! Rude!

Lance was more than helpful! He showed up on time and thoroughly inspected our unit and thermostat until he found an answer. He kept me up to date with what he was doing and explained all of what was going on. He recommended duct work and insulation with a few other recommendations, and I’m definitely taking them. He took pictures and explained every recommendation he gave to me and they all made sense. I’ve always loved this company and will continue to use them!

Just not happy and dissatisfied with the way the solution for a problem with our ac presented. It seemed to us he wanted to change the entire unit although its only 5yr old . We have been with them for more than 2 or 3 yrs but not honest in giving solution without making us think that they are taking advantage of us. We may not know everything about the AC thing but for sure we know its still new to be replaced and to think they have been checking our system often. What for is the check up then. Not even one star is appropriate.

12/28/2022 Lance came today to do scheduled system maintenance and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful with his suggestions. He gave good pointers for care of our HVAC system and encouraged us with how best to improve it. He also signed us up for a better maintenance package and saved us money in the process. Our fan motor started making a horrible noise this afternoon and I called Minuteman Heating and Air. They were here in a couple hours, ran a diagnostic and replaced the motor. I’m grateful for Minuteman Heating and Air and how fast they responded to our need.

Miguel did a good job. We had a short in the heaters wiring. He chdcked the system, found the short and replaced the damaged wires. The system certainly is old enough to be replaced but besides mentioning the age he did not harp on replacing the system. Id work with him again.

Donovan came out initially and was absolutely astounding! My husband and I actually went from repairing our unit with another company, to purchasing one with yours because of his presentation. The Technician did a Great Job. Checking inside and outside Units. Cleaned Outside Unit and CHECKED ATTIC (for the FIRST TIME) for Installation Status. Took photos of evacuation Equipment in working mode. Also photo of Attic. Provide estimate on Insulation Job.

Chris came out Wednesday to review our two existing systems and did an excellent job. He answered every question I had. Then Jake came out Thursday and also was excellent, giving every option and calculating flow of ductwork and where we where lacking. He recommended a new intake in the ceiling for the new unit to receive adequate input. We decided to replace our west side unit with a new Daiken system. The installer, who had been with them a long time according to Phill, came out Monday and did a fantastic job. Wish I had his name for this review. Sergio was their inspector on Tuesday and he was great. The blowing force coming out of our vents is now double what is was. Our contact always called when someone was about to come out. I would recommend Minuteman to anyone who is in need of a new system, and they would have improved our existing one too, if we had chosen to go that route. Mine was 12 years old. Glad we went new.

Chino was thorough in his duties and as always found something he wanted to upsell us on. EVERY SINGLE TIME we are offered an upsell of one item or other to spend THOUSANDS on. I will have the plumbing side of my contract handled in May and then will most likely drop my annual contract.

He made sure some tree cotton was removed from my outside unit and told me about some settings he made on my thermostat that would make the unit run more efficiently. When I mentioned the outside unit had been previously affected by hail, he took his “comb” with him for that inspection and rectified the dents in the vents. I have had technicians out several times since April. It has continual been an air flow problem but this time was a clogged drainage pipe. I am hoping this is the end of the issues with this unit.Donovan came and cut out a section of the floor to give the unit more air flow as this is what the system error reports. He and Craig determined this may well solve the problem. So far so good. Donovan has done everything Daikin’s tech people have suggested and now what Craig has determined to be the issue. He is always patient, informative, and pleasant. I sincerely hope this solves the problem.Donovan has been out to my house 3 times since May 31 doing everything Daikin has suggested to correct airflow issue. He has worked tirelessly trying to solve this problem. He is always polite, informative, and personable. He thinks he has determined the problem and will remedy it. Craig has concurred with his decision. Although I am frustrated with the ongoing situation, the techs and dispatchers are some of the most polite people. Craig has assured me the problem will be fixed. They are a company that stands behind their product.Tunde came out May 11, 2022 and resolved the issue of the system going on and off. Service tech Chris Gideon did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem with our AC system, and comfort advisor Craig Wood went above and beyond to make us a competitve offer!

We were out of town when we got an AC not working call from the tenant in our rental house. We called Minuteman and they handled the problem as well as doing a complete check of the system, with NO extra charges beyond the service call. They were fast and very responsive to our situation. Highly recommended.

Prompt and courteous! He was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

The tech did an excellent job at troubleshooting the system and suggested what parts needed to be replaced. He was on time and very polite.

I had a membership with them for a year. When I needed service on my A/C they were quick to respond but then made me wait 3 weeks to get the part from the manufacturer because it was under warranty. 3 weeks with no A/C but they wouldn’t let me buy the part elsewhere and have it installed. Later they did their 6 month checkup and told me my drain line was clogged, but it wasn’t. I cancelled the service after my 1 year contract was up. It did nothing for me and was a waste of money.

Rick Dowdy was a life saver when my AC stopped working. He was extremely kind, thorough and put the comfort of my family above everything else.Sergio came out for my regular inspection and he was so informative and helpful. Monty Hahn and Donovan Williams were absolutely fantastic during their visit to our house. Donovan inspected our AC unit and gave us a diagnostic of the issues, and was very detailed and super educational about what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix the issue. Monty came over with the options we had to take care of our problem and was very clear on our options without being pushy or wanting us to buy from them. It was a great experience. Recommended!

We had a service technician out after waiting two days with no ac. That’s with us being on the patriot plan (waste of money) He was supposed to bring our UV filter to replace it after the service call. When he arrived, he said he “didn’t read the notes” for the call so he didn’t bring the filter. We have used your company for 7 years (you installed our unit) and out of those seven years, a technician has remembered to bring the filter to our annual tune up only ONE time, despite us calling and asking each year for it to be purchased and brought to the tune up appointment.Back to our most recent visit: after looking at the exterior unit, the technician asked to see our breaker box and said unfortunately he couldn’t repair the ac bc our breaker was going out. He advised us to call an electrician and have them repair the breaker. He charged me 157 dollars for that. I called another company who was out in twenty minutes, that technician went in our attic and let us know it wasn’t the breaker, it was wire nuts that had melted and were touching ground. He replaced them for free and didn’t charge a service fee. He said if the previous technician had looked in the attic he should have seen those wire nuts first thing.In addition to that, he let us know that our UV light was plugged in to the attic light, so that if the attic light is off, our uv light is off as well. When y’all installed this, we were never made aware of that. So, for SEVEN years we’ve not been using the UV light because your installers never made us aware that we needed to have the attic light on for the UV light to be on.

James was awesome! He explained everything he was doing very well. Our AC stopped cooling overnight. Thankfully it was a minor repair (a capacitor) and he fixed it quickly. He made it out within 8 hours from when I called. We will request for James services and repairs going forward.

Another great A/C service from Minuteman. Professional, informative, and timely service at a fair price. Chris performed an excellent service of the heating units. He made reccomendations to improve my heating and cooling system but did not push for anything unnecessary. Great experience for several years from install through regular service. The dispatcher refused to send someone over to my address because according to their system, they have had problems with nonpayment of services. Shocking. I have never used this company or any company for that matter for AC service. How do you even get service and get away with not paying for it?This saga gets even better. I just got an invoice to help me remember. I do remember now. I got charged $472 for what was supposed to be an $89 tune up charge. I never called them for service; it was preventive maintenance. I didnt want to sign up for their maintenance plan ($13.75/month) and refused the offer. I thought that was it. Come to find out they have charged me $472 for recharging my freon. The recharge never happened.

Only giving this a one star because that is the only option. Purchased two units from this company. One works perfectly and the other has been a lemon the entire time. We have reported something was wrong with the unit for three years only to have MM but “bandaids” on the unit. Now the compressor blew and they report our warranty has expired and want additional thousands of dollars. I could handle the need for the service but the lack of responsibility and abysmal customer service this company has demonstrated all the way to the top is absurd. Do yourself a favor a spend your money with another company.

Had a great experience with the company. Tunde came to check my system and found a couple issues, quickly after that I had a new system installed and running great 24 hours later.Lance and the install team were also great and efficient, as well as respectful to our home and keeping everything clean.

The technician, Julian, was thorough; he came prepared to solve the problem and to check my entire system. The problem was solved and the whole system checked in a reasonable amount of time.

James was wonderful. Professional and attentive. He took it upon himself when he realized it wasn’t heating to potential to diagnose and locate the issue. Because he is so experienced, he located some wires were pulled and he managed to get them re-pinned. I had a brand new unit from 2019 and the installers made an error (not minuteman). He saved me over $600 by using his professional experience and knowledge to repair it so I didn’t need a new heating kit. Highly recommend the whole team and company!

The service technician James was amazing and did an excellent job. Extremely personable and would 100% recommend him. On the other hand, charging 800+ dollars to replace two parts that at best cost $40 USD total is a bit extreme.The telephone operator as well was extremely gracious and did her job very well. Would also recommend.I am not one to not be willing to pay for expertise, licensure, etc. so I would be completely fine with paying for that and the parts. Something along the lines of $400-500 would be much more reasonable for a capacitor and jump start replacement on a single unit. Charging $400 per part and then ALSO charging an $89 service fee is a bit usury IMO.

The service people who came out were wonderful. Very polite very professional did a great job. I would give them five stars!The timeliness of the appointment was very poor.I will keep in mind from now on that any appointments you make must have a confirmation call on the day of.However when my appointment is early morning first of the day,and because of your staff meeting that should have been taken into account before setting up an appointment, they are two hours late thats really not acceptable.This is not the fault of the technicians but rather poor timing on the part of the people setting up the appointments.We work and commute to work and being on time is essential. Having an appointment that runs late is pointless and a waste of time.Thanks

We were having an issue with our digital thermostat shutting off and on though it took the company a week to come out, James Stewart our technician was very knowledgeable and kind. He fixed the problem with the thermostat, and the float valve not installed correctly and replaced the filter.

So apparently ants, love, electricity. So on our AC unit the ants got up into the contact and burned it up. So now we have a routine maintenance schedule for not only theAC / heater unit. it also covers plumbing. And all for $18 a month. 😳Where do I sign?
