Excellent Service. The technician Bill was experienced and knowledgable. I manage properties in multiple states, have dealt with a lot of technicians, it was refreshing to work with a quality service technician. Additionally their office/scheduling staff was outstanding, the technician arrived in the time they said which is important when scheduling when a unit is occupied. Amazing from start to finish and beyond! Christmas Air Conditioning and Heating installed two new systems in our Frisco home in January ‘24. The difference in heating, cooling, efficiency, etc. is apples and buses! Best, transparent consultation, install was event free. NOW, fast forward 12 months, the follow up service is impeccable. Last week Jordan Stevenson (Senior Tech) scheduled to conduct a follow up… we had no idea what to expect. Jordan was at our home for nearly 2 hours (if not more) making what he stated were necessary adjustments and making sure everything was dialed in. Jordan made a few extremely logical recommendations, but as an included service update to our original project, I didn’t image the level of detail. If you’re considering a new system or need honest advice and direction, these folks are THE BEST!
We used Christmas Air last summer to replace both AC systems and they were just out to replace a furnace. Everyone we have dealt with wants to do right by the customer-they’re honest, friendly, and helpful. Their work is high quality. The technicians and install crews are careful and hardworking. I want to express my appreciation to Craig and Chris this is the second time they have worked on my system and both times it was an easy fix. The first time my attic unit fan had seized and burnt , I 1st called a different company and they wanted to sell me an expensive outside unit that would not have fixed the issue. This time the issue was a loose contact, so all in all Chris and Craig are an excellent team and Christmas Air is fortunate to have these two professionals on their payroll. Keith and his team did a great job replacing all the duct work in our home. He was punctual and took the time to explain how he was going to make our system run more efficiently. The job was done for much lower than the competition. He and his crew were very courteous and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I will be using him again in the future to replace our attic insulation.

Great experience with Christmas Air. They installed a brand new system at our investment property that my mother lives at, and they had it done in 2 days after quoting it. The installers were professional and they did not collect payment until sending out a tech to walk through the system with us a few days later. Really impressed with our overall experience. Will continue to use them, and recommend to clients. Wish I could change their name. 😆

I was very pleased with the service Israel provided and he took time to explain the issue with my unit. He also replaced my thermostat and my air is working perfectly now after a month of struggling with trying to stay cool this summer. Courteous, friendly, fair price. Yes, yes, and yes. However, Ive had multiple issues that were not handled properly.First, Ive been using Christmas Air for a few years. I hired them to install a new HVAC system in my home about 3 years ago. Issues started happening shortly after. Minor issues at first like having to replace the brand new thermostat they provided. Then I noticed the air flow to one of the bedrooms wasnt very good. This was strange because they upgraded the size of the air ducts in the attic. I mentioned it to the service techs that would come out for regular Spring maintenance many times and was told many different things. It wasnt until Eric G. came last week for a different issue (more on that shortly) that I was given an actual reason with a good solution, but it did put some blame on the original installation. So here we have a subpar HVAC install because one of the rooms doesnt get enough air flow and now I have to spend over $1k to fix.This Spring, as usual, we scheduled maintenance. Tech came out, and I explained to him I was smelling a faint sewer smell coming out of the upstairs bathroom, which is where the ac drain line is connected. I also told him I already had put vinegar down the drain line and flushed it with water multiple times. I also called a plumber, that replaced the tubing that connects under the sink and cleaned all debris from the pipe that goes inside the wall. He recommended this special solution they have and poured it down the drain line. That worked for a couple days and the smell was back. Same tech told me to let the AC run this Summer and the smell would probably go away on its own, and if not to call them in the Fall/Winter. He assured me he put notes on my account so they would know for next time.Around mid-June, one of my AC units went out. The larger one that controls the AC downstairs. I called Christmas Air and they were there in a couple of days. This is where things turned really bad. First it was the fan motor, ok replace it. By the way, we have to order the part, CANT tell you when we will have it. They replace it, AC out again shortly, they cant come out for another couple days. Im in the back of the line. Now its nope not that its the TXV valve oh and its $1932 because they have to flush out all the old refrigerant and replace it. Ok, I need my AC to work its hot, get it done. Service tech is out prompty, get it replaced. Guess what, AC is out again shortly after the service tech leaves. I call again. Im talking to the manager Kanon V. and hes been very nice and trying to get me up and running. He sends another tech out, and this time oh its the compressor. They dont charge me because of what I already paid which wasnt the issue in the first place. Service tech fixes compressor, AC is running great. Wait, no just kidding the AC goes out again shortly after he leaves. Call Kannon again, hes sending me another, more senior, service tech out. Apparently, the previous tech charged it too much and that was the issue. I had 6-7 service calls for a simple AC issue.Present day. I still have the sewer smell coming out of the upstairs bathroom. I call Christmas Air again. Eric G. comes out that afternoon, but cant do any work. Why? No clue. Eric G. is very nice, very knowledgeable, but gotta run a quote first. Two days later I receive an estimate, I agree to get the coils cleaned. Job is done in 30 minutes. Im please with Eric but wondering why is the estimate so much. $347 for that!? Smell is still there next day. I speak to Kanon. I asked about the quote, $347 for spraying two cans on coils? He said thats correct. I tell him Im going to pay it but Im no longer a customer. Later that evening the AC is making a strange gargling sound like there is water in the pipes. Another issue, and now I have to get another AC company to come out. I like working with one company and build a relationship, but theyve let me down too many times. Yes, always nice, but no I am definitely not satisfied!!!

I appreciated the follow up quality control visit to review and double check the work that was done to make sure everything was ship shape. I, however, do not like when a service company does not apply the service charge paid for the initial visit to diagnose the problem be applied to the final bill when additional work is required, and it is quite expensive. I also do not like when a merchant charges a % of the total invoice to the customer for using a credit card. It is a cost of doing business and should not be passed on to the customer. If it is too expensive for the merchant to offer credit cards as a form of payment, then they should only accept cash or check. Thank you.
Noticed temperature was going up and ac unit was not running after getting the condensation drainline cleared. Called back in a little after noon and was given a window from 3 to 5 but they ended up sending a tech out about 20 minutes later and found a blown internal fuse. Very good customer service

We know were going to need to replace our units sooner than later so we wanted to be established with someone we trusted so we arent left scrambling in the middle of summer if a unit goes out trying to find someone last minute. Great service! I called them on Saturday morning and scheduled an appointment for Sunday between 9 and 11am. Cody, the technician, arrived promptly at 9am. He offered 2 alternative solutions to the issue and had the air conditioner working by 9:30am. This could not have gone better!

The technicians were fabulous. We got new carpet last month and I belatedly realized I shouldve asked the technician to take off his shoes rather than wearing his work boots on the new carpet.But I did not even have to worry about it. Josh wore booties over his shoes without even being asked. He was very polite and explained everything to me.Great guy!

The tech came on time and was courteous and knowledgable. He was candid about his strengths and weaknesses and suggested a repair instead of a replace that another firm had recommended. I got the sense throughout that Christmas Air is more about getting the A/C working for customers and less about selling potentially unneeded products.
Our AC evaporator coil sprung a leak late on a Friday afternoon, and our house began filling up with a light haze from the leaking Freon. Out of caution, we turned the AC off.Fortunately, we were able to get our usual HVAC firm to come check it out for us that same day. They diagnosed the problem, and gave us a $4,875 repair estimate. Needless to say, we were shocked at the price.A friend recommended getting a 2nd opinion and quote from Christmas Air Conditioning. Despite the significant mileage distance away from our home in McKinney, they said they could service us.I left a message on Sunday and received a call-back from Kanon at Christmas Air within a few hours. He said they could get someone out on Monday morning to look at it and get me an estimate, and even complete repairs on Monday afternoon. I was thrilled with the quick response and agreed to have them come out on Monday.Once the Christmas technicians confirmed the diagnosis on Monday morning, Kanon gave me several options to help reduce the repair cost by almost $1,500 from what I’d been quoted by a competitor.After reading so many positive reviews online, we agreed to the repair estimate. Within a few hours the Christmas Air repair was completed - all in less than 24 hours from first contacting Christmas Air.Better yet, they sent a quality control technician out the next day to confirm everything was done correctly and to code, and to make sure we were satisfied. Only then did they collect payment from us for their work.This was an incredibly awesome experience for us, despite being without air conditioning for three days.All the folks from Christmas Air Conditioning were caring, professional, thorough, and trustworthy. They also kept us informed every step of the process.We will definitely use Christmas Air Conditioning for our future HVAC needs, and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the DFW area.
Received immediate confirmation of appointment via email and text. AC tech communicated via text when he was en route to the appointment. He arrived during the appointment range. Tech was very friendly and efficient. He reviewed our entire AC/heat system inside and out. He explained his findings clearly and thoroughly. Payment was very easy. Overall, we have a new hearing and AC company.
After receiving a quote with not an option to repair we thought best to get a second opinion. Christmas Air was recommended time and time again. Eric was thorough, knowledgeable, explained everything in addition to fixing the issue for less than $200.It was definitely Christmas in May!
Called them about a possible leak which turned out to be a plumbing issue. They explained the problem and didn’t charge us for the service call only being here for ten minutes. We’ve used them install a new unit and registers in the house to help with better air distribution. Highly recommend getting their service plan where they come twice a year to clean out drains, replace filters and make sure all units are in working order. I’ve never had a bad experience with the techs nor have felt cheated or pressured by salespeople. Five stars for us.
Professional all the way from beginning to end. I didn’t feel that they tried to oversell me on what we needed to have repaired to get our A/C working again. This was the second company I called out to look at the units, the first company wanted to completely replace everything, inside and outside. These guys got the job done for 1/4 the cost quoted from the other company. Very pleased with their staff.
What a great experience during a stressful time. I was immediately put at ease during my HVAC experience when I called Christmas and someone in the local office answered the phone. Not a phone tree or automated answering service. I was able to book an appointment within just a few minutes and an expert was at my home within to week. My tech, Josh, was great! He was on time and diagnosed the problem and offered me multiple solutions with no pressure or upselling. It’s never fun to have to replace an AC unit but the folks at Christmas Air made it super easy! They were quick to come out and look at the problem and worked with me to get exactly what I needed - it wasn’t just a cookie cutter approach.We got the install scheduled a few days later and my bedroom is nice and cool before summer sets in. Several years ago, I signed up for their maintenance service and I am happy I did! Not only do they come out and take a look at everything twice a year to make sure everything is in working order, I got a small discount when I did have to replace my outdated unit. I called on a Friday after 5:00 PM because thats the perfect time for the A/C to go down. Its also in the high 90s maybe even higher its Texas. First thing I do is ask for recommendations from neighbors on the Pecan Square Facebook page and 2 of the 3 that responded said to contact Christmas Air. They were booked for the Saturday and that was understandable so they made it out on a Sunday at the time they said and did a great job it was up and running within an hour and all was well again in the Tucker House. Our technician, Robert Lewis showed up and was able to diagnose an amperage issue with the fan motor rather quickly. He explained how this over amperage will cause the system to not cool properly and that fortunately this is a commonly needed part, so there shouldn’t be much of a wait to get it in. Robert had great knowledge and communication.

My A/c primary drain was clogged and water was dripping out of the secondary drain. Christmas scheduled me for the next afternoon after confirming that it was not causing any damage. I was given a 2-4 pm window so I prepared myself to wait all aftenoon. I received a text message that the technician Eric was on his way and he arrived right around 2 pm. He quickly cleared the clog. He installed ball valves in both A/c units to make future maintenance easier, instructing me to turn off the valve and pour three glugs of vinegar twice every summer - prior to starting A/c use each summer and again a month later. I thought the other A/c unit may not be working correctly. He checked both units to confirm that they were working fine. I really appreciate that he didnt try to use the opportunity to sell me services that werent needed. Eric patiently answered my questions and the total charge was very reasonable.This is the second time Christmas has bailed me out. The first time was summer before last when the unit that cools the bedrooms died. The business I used to use never returned my calls. Christmas had a technician come out within 12 hours to replace the burned out capacitor. I gave my go to A/c business a second chance and called them before calling Christmas two days ago. I have still not heard back from them. I spoke to a real person who helped me immediately when I called Christmas. They are my go to A/c business from now on!

This is a fun review to write. I have been a customer for many years. The latest issue was complex and frustrating. However...Christmas Air stayed with it until everything was fixed, and I was completely satisfied. Giving five stars for an easy job is one thing. To give five stars for this kind of service and attention is extraordinary!
We only started using Christmas Air a few years ago. Their work is of the highest quality possible. Today’s experience reinforces that. Josh was able to identify the problem very quickly. Fortunately, it was a simple solution so all we had to pay was the service call. Obviously, that made us very happy. While he was checking the heating system he also alerted me to a potential problem with our water heater, which is outside of his responsibilities. Just another example of their people going above and beyond.
The time came to replace our 20yr+ system. Weve worked with several companies over the years and these folks are responsive, experienced, competitively priced, and provided professional quality work including a follow up QC visit! Great installation overall.

Worked us in the day of the call. Showed up on time once again, texted me just before they came out. Quickly fixed the issue.I might be wrong, but $300 for an old (20 yr) Trane upstairs unit bad capacitor issue for a 2200 total sq ft home does seem to be on the higher end, though.
100% professional, polite, patient and thorough! Both technicians wore covers over their shoes so that they would not track outside dirt inside. This is great consideration and customer service. One of my AC units stopped cooling...looking for quote to replace 2 units. Tech Israel went above and beyond and checked to see if my bad unit really was dead...sure enough it is and he showed me exactly why. Going to get quote for 2 new units, but regardless Israels service went above expectations.

I am beyond impressed and happy with my service from Christmas air. They showed up on time every appt I made, were honest and explained things in layman’s terms. We ended up needing to replace our 12 year old unit after it went out and they were able to replace the whole unit under 4 hours! I bought my house in May 2023 knowing that the AC wasnt working its best. A company came out for a tune up and discovered it was a mess. Their quote for a new system and from two others required me to wait nearly a year. Then a friend had used and recommended Christmas Air. Their quote was less than half of the others. It couldnt have come at a better time with summer looming. Thank you so much for working with my schedule and making my home much more comfortable.
We had heard nothing but good things about Christmas Air, so we had them come out to give us a second opinion before we spent $3000+ on new system we were told we were needed by a different company. Christmas Air actually took the time to show us everything they saw and explain it. Turns out our system is perfectly fine and the other company was trying to make money. We are canceling our membership with the other company and switching to Christmas Air.
Serviceman was ontime. He texted me that he was on his way so we could put the dogs out. Good thing he came after Vivint installed our vivint thermostat because it was wrong and he was able to fix.
Needed a second opinion regarding a $836 repair recommended by another company. Israel took a look and said that the unit did not need thermal expansion valve replacement but instead replaced a capacitor. Saved me over $500! Love these guys!

I have to admit when I saw the estimate I was shocked on how much it was. After doing research on the repairs I found out they were in range with everyone else. They were on the high side of the range but in the end the service was well worth it. They researched all the parts found they were in warranty. When installing the part the techs found another issue and fixed that this as well. So in the end I felt I got more than I paid for. Christmas Air will be the first one I call for all my AC needs. He looked around, found out the transformer had shorted out and just needed to be changed. I was initially told from another company I needed a whole new system ~$9,000.

Josh showed up within the timeframe from the dispatcher, and quickly diagnosed one issue, the contactor switch, which he quickly replaced. Unfortunately, when he turned the main disconnect back on, it malfunctioned (I suspect it is 26 years old, same as the unit.) He replaced this, saved me a little money by using the existing electrical whip, fired the unit up and checked voltages. Completed all this in 1-1/2 hours. Pleased with his technical skill and craftsmanship. Recommend Christmas to anyone needing HVAC.
9-16-2022Kanon V. arrived on time. He was very professional and informative. He was not in a rush and recognized the problem quickly. He replaced the capacitor and checked they complete system. We highly recommend Christmas HVAC and Kanon V.8-30-2024The folks at Christmas Air are extremely dependable. They installed a new air conditioner three days ago. We called today with a question and in less than 90 minutes they had two of their technicians at our home. Now thats fantastic service. Before you call any other company, I strongly urge your first call be to Christmas Air. They are the best.

From our first phone call to our final review with our QC technician, our experience with Christmas has been 5-star stellar. We had whole-house ductwork and one air conditioner system and zoned damper replaced, a large job completed in just over one day. I sent Christmas Air a message after hours late in the evening notifying them that I was requesting service for an air conditioning unit that quit working. They responded promptly in the morning and said they would send somebody. The technician they sent out, Eric, identified the problem quickly, told me the he had the part on hand in informed me of the cost. The part was replaced and my unit was running again in less than 30 minutes. Service was quick professional in fairly priced . I highly recommend their service and well use them again if needed.

I have used Christmas Air for many years and they have always been very professional. However this last visit they recommended I replace a certain part and quoted me a price. I did some shopping around and found several companies that would do the same repair for $200 less.

Wow! Very impressed with Christmas Air! Our AC went out last night, I went online to research fair and honest AC companies and read all the good reviews on this company. At midnight I filled out their online form for service, woke up to an appt confirmation. At 9:45 am Eric was here, fixed the problem, in and out in 20 minutes! We were so impressed we signed up for their maintenance program, no hard sell, just that impressed! Best customer service ever!!!

The two service techs who came to my house said we need a new condenser and to watch my email for a message with the cost options. It has been two weeks and never got any email from them.

Based on previous experience I reached out to Christmas when I had an issue with my heater. (Seems to always happen on a holiday, a weekend and with guests..) They answered right away and got me set up with an appointment early the following morning. Our A/C compressor went out, and Christmas Air had techs out to look at it early the next morning. Needed a full AC replacement and they were honest, transparent, and professional. Got multiple quotes and Christmas’ prices can’t be beat. The entire process was phenomenal! They definitely gained a permanent customer for any future maintenance.

A different big HVAC company said the issue was unfixable and gave a quote for $25k to replace the entire system. Christmas fixed the issue for $95 and said the system should last many more years. Besides this 250x price difference, he was very nice, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that I could understand.
So far we have only had good experience with Christmas Air. They are always prompt, polite, and courteous. The young man even offered to help me unload water from my car.

I called regarding maintenance on my working air conditioner and they left abruptly with it turned off, and then lied about it. Also their pricing is very high compared to others.The tech did arrive promptly to inspect my AC, but after telling me he was going to his truck to get the quote instead he left. Later I noticed it getting warm in the house and the air conditioner was not working. I called asking why it was not working and they informed me it must be an issue with the unit. I climbed in the attic myself and noticed it was turned off. They then changed their tune and said it was accidently turned off. I then received a quote $3K over competitors. This company did not provide me with an honest quote, or communicate their repair process with me, and left my family without AC.
Technicians arrived on time, were polite and good communicators. They explained what they were finding, made a recommendation for the repair, and performed it quickly. Very good experience.
We were dealing with A#1Air, who constantly try to upsell every time they come out. Some friends recommended Christmas and we called them to look at our system and review A#1’s up-sale estimate - they saved us roughly $6k. Looks like we have found a new HVAC team.*** UPDATE: Crew came out for regular servicing... here and gone in about 30mins. 30mins and no up-sale, no well heres your problem and the answer is $$ on the low end $$$$ on the high end - and if you ask me what Id $$$$$. Just so nice to have quality work done, quickly and at a fair and reasonable cost. Dont fall for cheesy commercials and Cowboys endorsements; Christmas is your team.

Went with Christmas Air again as they were awesome when they replaced one of my units 3 years ago. Technician was at my door in 30 mins. I was expecting a whole new system and was pleasantly surprised to find that only a capacitor needed replacement on my 30 year old unit. Tech told me the system is still cooling well and no need for a new system yet. So thankful!

I had another company come out and do a tube up on my air. They said my drain pan was rusted and needed to be replaced. After them giving me the price, I decided to call around & contacted Christmas Air. They charged almost 1/2 the price the other company charged. They got in & out and offered me a maintenance plan to come and inspect once or twice a year. Highly recommend Christmas Air!

We’ve used Christmas several times. They are always quick to respond. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage and sell us on something we don’t need. They most recently came and replaced our HVAC system. We got a fair price. They were professional. They were great at protecting our house and keeping it clean. When they were finished they cleaned up and it’s like they weren’t even there. They showed me everything they did when they were done. Everything is working great. We really appreciate their service and will continue using Christmas in the future.

While I have always appreciated Christmas air and their techs are awesome, I am now on my 3rd visit from a yearly service appointment where all was working great prior to the service…now 2nd time AC not cooling after two additional appointments. Hopefully they will get things right tomorrow. In the meanwhile, we sweat. But they did come back out same day and got me going. Very responsive!
Christmas Air is honest- described the filter condition on routine furnace check. Did not try to sell me something I didn’t need. They were on time- received a text when they were en route. They put shoe booties on before entering my house without being asked. Explained what they performed and the results before leaving. Business operated right!
As usual, they were on time, professional, friendly, neat and gave me status of both HVAC units. They found an issue, gave me a quote, and fixed 2 days later. Reasonably priced. They have always been responsive and fair, for years now. Great folks!

We had a technician come out from Christmas Air, he was prompt, courteous and explained what he was able to find. The repairs were reasonable and will definitely use them again if the need arises. Definitely recommend them if you need to have your AC looked at and repaied.
I contacted Christmas Air conditioning at about 5am when we woke up to our house at 77 degrees in July. Within 30 minutes I had a confirmation text and emailing giving me a time that the service techs would be out that same day! I got another text when they were on their way and they arrived within 30 minutes (4 hours of my original request). They were professional, quick and reasonably priced. We were expecting to possibly have to replace the entire unit but it was only the capacitor. They could have easily taken advantage of us but we’re honest in what was going on. I would highly recommend Christmas Air conditioning and will definitely be using them for our annual check ups and any future needs.
