TRI COUNTY AIR CARE

Tricounty replaced a coil for my 5-ton central AC unit, and it was a disaster.For starters, they were supposed to arrive in the afternoon but showed up about 8:30am with no advance notice, which they were also supposed to provide.Company had a coil that matched specs for system, but it was 3 larger than the existing coil. Per the owner, they knew this in advance, but rather than order the right unit, they installed anyway. When they arrived to install the coil they could not get it through the attic door. In the process of forcing it into the attic they broke the attic door.A few hours into the work, a third guy arrived to help the first two. He was more experienced, and told me he was dispatched because the initial 2-man crew got in over their head.Fast forward a couple hours, I walked downstairs and found fiberglass insulation all over the floor, countertops, tabletops, carpet. It was also in the ducts. I quickly turned the AC off to prevent further blowing around of the hazardous fibers.Company promptly dispatched a cleanup crew to vacuum out the ducts with a special HEPA duct cleaning device to trap the fibers. This was the only thing they did right all day. Per owner, they knew they had a potential health hazard on their hands (breathing the floating fibers) so acted quickly. Five hours after they left I was still finding fiberglass clumps stuck in the ceiling ducts.They were supposed to clean the floors, countertops, tabletops etc but did not. They left sharp-edged pieces of sheet metal around the attic door and did not vacuum clean up clumps of insulation in the area they were working.Needless to say, this is the worst HVAC experience Ive had in 30 years of home ownership.

Daniel was amazing to work with! Patient and knowledgeable! Daniel displayed calmness and wisdom under pressure. He worked with integrity and was able to fix our AC. WIth triple digit days he is defour families HERO!

We called in the morning and they said the tech would arrive between 1:00pm and 4:00pm and they sent Daniel out and he arrive on time. He was very professional and you could tell he knew what he was doing, and he paid attention to detail. He did the little things he didn’t have to do to make sure bad things didn’t happen again and ensure your a/c would would perform to the best it could. He corrected things that other companies left like seal up some cracks in the unit in the attic. He saw some tape other companies left and did not seal the attic unit and took a couple minutes and corrected it took some insulation and sealed the unit. I would definitely use this company again if the need arises and hope they send Daniel back. Great job Daniel thanks a bunch.Dave

Talk about top notch service in every single way!!!! Our AC went out and needed replaced. We got two different estimates and called Tri county for a third. Wish I would have called them first!!! Brian was here within an hour and gave me a no BS estimate for what I needed. He had a crew here two days later and installed a new complete system!! They were efficient, professional, and knowledgeable! Heather in the office went above and beyond to care of everything on the phone quickly and efficiently...super sweet and so so helpful!!!!

I have been dealing with Tri County Air Care since they replaced my system a few years ago. From the first encounter I was comfortable. I havent used anyone since. They perform my semi-annual maintenance and answer any questions I have. Great value and wonderful service and I genuinely enjoy the people that I deal with. I get calls all the time from other vendors offering their services, but I will not switch.

Tri County has taken care of my parents for many years. So when it came time for me to change my ac care to another company I gave them a shot. They had someone out right away and the tech was fast and efficient. I’ve not had any trouble since. But I’ve had them out to do maintenance work and they have done a wonderful job. I don’t usually take time to sign in online to give recommendations but my parents have been happy with them and now we are to. From the office mgr to the owners to the tech that’s taking care of us they have been very professional and the prices have been responsible.

I called 1st thing this morning and the Dispatcher said someone would be out between 9-11. Jason and Tyler arrived a few mins after 9am. Both were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They identified and worked on the issue quickly and cool air was restored immediately. I highly recommend!!!!

I have had Tri County for many years, since the early 2000’s. I’ve always gotten knowledgeable help & feel like they have my best interests @heart. We usually get Sammie….he’s great. He is on time, dependable & cares about helping us either be cool or warm depending on weather. Called Tri County Air Care when our A/C stopped cooling and was freezing up. They were out in just a couple hours to fix. Turned out to be nothing serious, just low freon. Chris, the tech that took care of us was by far one of the most thorough, polite and well manner service men we have ever had in our home. He checked EVERYTHING that could be wrong, and was not rushed. He seemed very dedicated to customer service and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Also very affordable. I will definitely be referring friends and family.

Tricounty Air Care is awesome, Im about 5 years in with my new system and it transformed our lives. I went from builders grade trash to a quality system that Tricounty stood behind. You know what youve got after the purchase. I also had them install a system in my workshop. Staff knows their stuff, Heather talked me thru how to set up my auxiliary heat coils in the thermostat during snow-mazilla 2020. Without her knowledge my system would not have functioned properly. I found it hard to find a place that would send documented estimates before purchasing... THEY SENT ME 3 ESTIMATES in writing. GREAT QUALITY SERVICE and I even have the official service cap. This is not a paid advertisement.August 12, 2023 - Now well over 5 years with my system and Tri County Air Care continues to set the bar higher than other HVAC service companies. I had a recent service call that proved to be challenging for the service tech. My system was not performing as before even after service. I thought was going to live in discomfort thru the dog days of summer. They called me for a routine checkup and I admittedly gave negative feedback on my system performance and requested escalation of my feedback. Tri County responded with EXPERTs / OWNERs to remediate my A/C woes. THE BEST HVAC SERVICE AND INSTALLATION IN METRO AREA !!! Thats from experience, not paid advertising.

Turned on the heater for the first time after a while and it wasn’t turning on. Nick was our service technician and he arrived within the scheduled window and systematically went through all of the possible reasons it wasn’t working and repaired the problem (without trying to recommend any major replacement). He was very detailed about explaining his steps along the way. Very thorough and professional. Very satisfied with TriCounty Air Care and will probably schedule a maintenance service with them BEFORE we turn on our AC again to make sure everything is set for the spring.

I recently needed AC work done on my units before closing on the sale on my home. Tri County responded immediately and were masters at making the repairs at a reasonable price. They can be trusted and do an excellent job I would not call anyone else. Thank you Tri County Air Care!

We purchased a new home in 2017. Installing contractor delayed us until warranty expired.....Tri County Air was recommended by a friend, the tech arrived on time, replaced the T-stat (that was wrong) for our unit, immediately diagnosed the wiring fiasco, and had our variable speed system running PERFECTLY!If anyone purchased a new home with a Lennox 2 stage or Variable Speed system with a Honeywell thermostat, the system is likely not running as it should. Sam knows what to look for after fixing our system. He is a true professional with integrity, two traits that are rare these days. The office staff is responsive and personable; I highly recommend Tri County Air Care for there expertise.Thanks Tri County Air Care!

We called Tri County Air Care for the first time this morning and were pleased that they were able to work us into their schedule today. The technician, Terry McCullough was very professional. He called to let us know he was coming, diagnosed our A/C problem quickly and had it repaired within 30 minutes (without trying to talk us into repairs we didnt need). We are excited to have a company that we can confidently recommend to our friends & family.

We have been using these guys for a while. Everyone one we have ever dealt with has been super friendly, extremely professional and very helpful. Recently we returned from a trip to a freezing house. Tri-County explained that the cost to repair was not worth keeping the old systems and worked with us to get us an affordable system that met our needs. During install, I would periodically check in to see how things were going. Whoever was nearby when I showed up, stopped what they were doing and explained what they were doing and how far along they were without me even asking. These guys are great and highly recommended.

The AC went out in the middle of August on a weekend, within a short period of time a tech was out and quick resolved the issue. Also when buying a new house I have their experts out to make sure the system would be in working order for my family. I will continue to recommend Tri County Air Care to friends and family.

Our experience with sales and installation was great. The follow-up with service by Tri County (emergency call - false alarm) was EXCELLENT. Both dispatch and the service tech, Daniel, were prompt, timely, and professional. We highly recommend this company!

Brandon is awesome! We had a bad coil. Our air was not blowing cool in the house. We called and Brandon came out the very next day. He offered us the option to replace the coil or the entire unit. He was so reasonably priced, we decided to replace the entire unit. It was great to not feel pressured. The work was excellent and fast. I would highly recommend this company.

Our AC died on Sunday. On Monday, I contacted Tri County and they got us on the schedule. They were able to come sooner than expected and they proved their worth! They knew what they were doing and we stayed out of their way. They rearranged the air ducts so our west-facing master bedroom stopped being a slow roasting BBQ pit. Before the night was over we were needing to sleep under a blanket! The whole experience was awesome! Thank you!

This company really cares about its customers. My A/C went out on me and Tri-County Heat & Air was recommended by a friend. They came out to the house and put in a brand new Lennox unit inside and outside. My electric bill dropped by 20-25% since then and could not be happier! The staff their is very professional and they feel like family to me ever since. The prices are reasonable and they do back up their word on their work. I have already recommended my neighbors to them a couple of times for their A/Cs.

LIFESAVERS! That is what the entire team at Tri County Air Care mean to me. They have been maintaining my heating and air conditioning unit for about six years now. As luck would have it on a Friday at 5:02 pm, I notice my air conditioner is not cooling as it should be. I give Heather a call and she gets a service technician out within the hour. We have had the most uncomfortable environment inside our house this year. My wife called Tri County Air and made an appointment. The system was so frozen Randal couldn’t even troubleshoot. He sets another appointment for a few hours so the system could thaw out. Daniel showed up and was just as concerned with our downstairs unit as he was with the problem unit, upstairs. My poor children have been living in bedrooms up to 86 degrees for too long. Daniel serviced up both systems and ensured that the readings were within parameters. It’s a different house now and our units are actually cycling off and on during the heat of the day!!! Thank you!!!!

At 4pm on a Friday our ac output went from really cool to over 90 degrees. By 6pm Rene was onsite and handled the issue promptly and professionally. This was my first time using Tri County and though I hope I wont need their services anytime soon when the time comes that I do I will not hesitate to call on them again.

Tri County Aire Care was a really great company to work with. Very knowledgeable when I asked questions and explained it in terms I could easily understand. They came out the same day I called them and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need like other companies.

We called after seeing 2 of their representatives at our neighbors house and they were very responsive and came out the same day. Once he finished at our house, the technician went over assist the others. Teamwork on a Friday night. Awesome!

Our nest was not hooked up correctly (by a different technician/company) so we called Tri County Air because we thought maybe something went wrong with our HVAC system. Sammy Stokes was our technician. He assessed our entire situation and corrected the the issue while explaining everything along the way. We were so impressed by his level of knowledge and care for our home. Since we are still under a COVID-19 restrictions, he came in with a mask on and covered his boots before walking through our home, which we greatly appreciated.Thank you for helping us feel cool as we head into a hot summer!

Very unprofessional. The company was very prompt in answer emails and scheduling a technician to come out. However, during our interactions the company never stated their fees or labor costs, so we did not realize the estimate/initial evaluation was a cost we had to pay. When the technician came out and identified the issue, he shocked us on the bill for the visit in addition to a 30 minute labor cost to identify that the electrical panel was the issue. Its very unprofessional without communicating your companys cost structure and give them a bill afterwards. We will not be using this company again and would highly suggest others to be weary of this tactic.

If I could give higher review I would! They took excellent care of us. Rodolfo is the best. He took the time and explained everything to us, quoted us fairly, and was so kind and courteous. We are slightly rural and they came out the same day when no one else would. Thank you again!

Great service to trouble-shoot our system when we had problems with AC humidity control on our Lennox. Knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient, as well as helpful and patient to give us extra information to help us be more informed about our system. We are looking forward to having their annual service to keep our system in top shape.

My AC was running but no cold air was coming out. Kevin from Tri County came out and knew immediately what was wrong. He ordered the part and Danial came out and installed it. All of this was done in a matter of hours. Both men were wearing masks and shoe coverings. They were the best!! They explained exactly what was wrong and got the job done. Cold air at last!!!😊

I dont normally write reviews, however if youre like me and research a subject into the ground prior to making an educated decision, then this review will assist you with making the correct decision when discerning what HVAC contractor to use for your largest investment (your home). i apologize in advance if this review is too long. My wife and I purchased a Lennox complete system on our previous home and our utility bill dropped from $600/mo to less $240/mo. No kidding! So when our current HVAC system gave up the ghost, we wanted to go back with the same unit. We went to the Lennox website and there were 3 contractors listed in our area (we are in a very rural area). We chose Tri County Air Care due to the reviews (which is why I feel compelled to write this review). I spoke with Kevin and he personally came to our home and designed a system custom to our needs. Now I have to say here, I was asking for a more expensive unit and Kevin was so honest to NOT sell me a unit that we didnt need. Im not kidding! Where do you find a business owner who has so much integrity that he takes the time to explain what we need and not over charge you! Our system was installed on May 20th and am just now writing this review just to make sure the system is running as it should. My wife sets the thermostat at 72F in both the living and Master which almost freezes me out and our utility bill has not exceeded $152! With two units running (one 5 ton and one 3 ton)!!!! The Lennox units cost a bit more, but your R.O.I. is reduced due to the extremely low utility bill. And you wont regret hiring Tri County Air Care. Believe me, my brother and my Dad are both HVAC contractors (they live in Louisiana which is why they didnt install my system) and I had them review the quote prior to our purchase. Anyway, I hope this helps someone with a decision to purchase the Lennox XP variable speed units AND Try County Air Care to install them. Give Kevin a call and hell take good care of you.

Over the past 20 years we have dealt with a number of Heating & Air companies in the DFW area. The companies we have used range from decent to downright awful. I feel like we have now struck gold in finding Tri County Air Care (If we understand it correctly, the company was formerly known as Tri County Heat & Air, but adopted the current name after merging with another company). In our opinion Tri County Air Care is an exceptional company. We recently replaced all three of our Heating and AC units with more efficient, high-tech systems, and in the process we got to meet most of the individuals working for the company. From the friendly ladies who answer the phones all the way to the owners of the company, we have found everyone to be courteous, friendly, professional, competent and genuinely concerned about our problems. They are extremely responsive, which is very important in the hot Texas summers, and they take calls on the weekends which many companies do not. We don’t know if their prices are the lowest around, but they are definitely fair and reasonable and lower than several we have used. They are concerned about cost to the customer and customer service, and they have shown that they will come back promptly to resolve any problems. Highly recommended if you are in their service area.

Tri-County always gives us straight answers and no B.S. price games. They are very knowledgeable and walk us thru the problems and repair options on our Rental Properties as well as our personal homes. Had both the heating system replaced, then a few years later had the ac replaced. Both times they were very punctual and attentive to our needs. Would definitely use again.
