Very pleased with the level of service. Daniel did a great job verifying all parts were working as designed and also cleaning the exterior coils. He was able to find the leak in one of our systems as well as determine a weak capacitor in another. He was on time for the appointment as well.

Just had my heating system annual servicing from Tri-County Air Care. It went well. The service technician (Kyle), was friendly, courteous, and professional. Me, knowing that my system has been working perfectly all season, it was nice to hear the technician say my system did not need this or that questionable repair or replacement which would have been an additional cost. This has not always been the case with other companies I have dealt with over the years as a home owner. Thanks Kyle and Tri-County!

Stoney, Raul and Raul Jr. did an amazing job. Took great care of us. Were great to deal with and honest. My wife said they were probably some of the most respectful people she has ever meet while they were working on the unit. Would highly recommend them and will certainly be calling these guys in the future for any repair needs.

I had 2 units malfunction during the recent cold snap. The first unit stopped working at 9pm…I called at 10pm and spoke to their message service (a real person). Brandon’s called me first thing in the morning and were at my door at 8:45am. My unit was up and running by 9:30am. The next morning my other unit was acting up Brandon’s had a tech at my house in an hour. He swapped out my circuit board (had a unit on the truck) in 20 minutes. Both units are working great now. The techs were polite, knowledgeable and efficient.

In 2015 we purchased our first family home and unfortunately in 2016 our AC/Heater unit went down. We been with this company ever since. They are trust worthy, reliable, and above all they treat you like family. They service my unit twice a year making sure I have AC in the summer and heat during the winter. The staff is super friendly and the technicians are awesome. Proud to be a happy customer.

Very happy with the service this company has given. They do an affordable bi annual preventative maintenance plan and I have had them out for whole home dehumidifier issues. The company is quick and gets the job done right. If I have an issue, they are great and I feel they have an ethical approach. Not the absolute cheapest I have found for service (still reasonable) but their techs have been professional and knowledgeable which is great because I have had other companies send guys who arent. Special shout out to Daniel who is a great tech for us and gone the extra mile for the service calls we have had him for.

He was professional, knowledgeable and thorough and even gave us tips on how to get our system to perform more efficiently.We have been using Brandon’s for over 6 yrs now. They have the nicest office staff and technicians. Teon was out to our home for our semi-annual maintenance and is so courteous and professional every time. He even offered take our dirty filters out to the trash. Who goes above and beyond like that these days?

I have been working with Brandon‘s comfort specialist since 2005 when I had them replace the crappy builder supplied AC units. I was pleasantly surprised that my ROI was several years quicker than what I had budgeted, but also that I was able to keep our house at a much more comfortable temperature while doing so. But more importantly, using them at that house as well as two other homes for annual maintenance services Continues to prove to be incredibly beneficial. This company is incredibly trustworthy and I never feel like I’m getting ripped off. My latest service was done by a young man, I think his name was Braden was unbelievably professional, courteous, and very communicative through the entire process. He went out of his way to spenda little extra time to try to find part numbers and other ways to help us with potential warranty service and make sure that we did not pay more than we needed to. Definitely someone you want to use for your AC services!

Daniel was very knowledgeable, efficient and ready to answer all of our questions regarding AC Fuses popping & what to do, lite for electric filter system is out and hard to replace and he reported that our overall AC was in good shape. Great experience today!! I had 2 capacitors on the borderline of going bad and discussed with Kyle my options. Because of the probability of another hot summer, I decided to replace both parts to avoid issues later on. Brandon’s came highly recommended by a close friend a while back but I hadn’t had the need to call before now. I’d called probably 7 other companies before I remembered Brandon’s. I have to say this is one of the most friendly, knowledgeable, and professional HVAC companies I’ve come across in a LONG time. They genuinely want to do right by you, and aren’t just concerned about making another quick dollar. Our a/c had completely stopped working. Nathan was absolutely fantastic, and seemed more than happy to come out even after hours to make sure that our a/c was working properly. He understood and showed compassion for our family’s situation and concerns. He was very thorough during the diagnostics and detailed in his explanations, showing us parts, explaining the functionality of different components, and why it was failing. He took care of what needed to be done after speaking to us about the options, and stayed to make sure it was actually cooling off before leaving. I’ll be recommending these guys to anyone I come across with any a/c issues, and will definitely be contacting them for any of my own needs in the future. From the office, to the techs, to the owners, they all seem to be great people and have a great business model. AC stopped working and house was st 91 degrees. Polarmo came out within 4-5 hiurs and had me running again within an hiur. Great job!

Its amazing the owner of this company will post either fake or real videos of unlawfully entering a persons property, disconnecting their AC Condenser Unit, and then repossessing a capacitor from the unit because they were 5 days late on payment. Skit or not, its completely unprofessional. Not a great message to put across on your business Intagram page that you just let yourself into someone elses property and do that without taking the correct civil avenues.

UPDATE - Bill connected with me and explained how their billing and pricing systems work. After the discussion, he agreed that the system re-charge should have been included in the check-up cost and that it was clearly a training issue that he would take care of. He refunded the cost of the freon. I was very happy with his communication and his service-minded philosophy. I will continue to do business with Bill and Brandons. - Had Brandons install a new system a few years back. They did a good job, were a little overpriced but I was happy with their professionalism and their work so I didnt worry about it. Had them come out over the years for standard maintenance and all was good. Today, had them come out to do a check-up on both systems, the one from them, and an older system that they did not install. The older system needed some R410a and after a talk with Bill they said they could charge the system if I signed that I rejected their advice to do a leak search. The tech (who was very nice and professional) put in 2 lbs of R410a and proclaimed the system good to go. He came in with the bill and I was floored. They charged $135 for the first lb of freon and $85 for the second. Their cost-basis is ~$6/lb. they charged $99 each for the inspection so my bill for the 1 hour call was $413. Looking for another AC service in McKinney...

Downstairs AC stopped cooling overnight. I called Brandon’s in the morning and they had their technician NATHAN out within 90 min. He the diagnosed the problem quickly and explained everything clearly and gave us the options for a quick fix for now and what we should be ready to replace in the near future.All their techs are great but Nathan’s demeanor and professionalism were above and beyond. Right off bat he made us feel like he was a knowledgeable friend that wanted to get our house comfortable again instead of someone who just wanted to hurry and get the job done and be on their way. We really appreciate it.

Brandon’s was fantastic. The initial person on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. I made an appointment for 2-4pm that day. The gentleman showed up at 2pm and was gone by 3:45. He was thorough and informative throughout the entire process on a step by step basis. Upon learning my outdoor AC unit was broken, he let me know my options to fix the AC. He also advised me to know my 20yr old unit really needed to be replaced instead of repaired do to the fact that in 2020 my old R22 unit would no longer be serviceable. They gave me 3 different options for repairs and replacement. They were willing to come out the next day which was a Saturday and raining to do the work. Instead I setup an appt for Monday afternoon to replace the unit and a team showed up right on time and replaced the entire unit within a few hours with no issues. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous. Job Well Done. I would recommend Brandon’s to anyone...

The service provided by Nathan was legendary. I first called the number and received a call back from Nathan within 15 minutes. He made an appointment in 2 hours and when he arrived are issue was fixed in under an hour. Having our AC fixed in about 3 hours from the time we called was hands down the best service I have received from an AC company. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Its been over 2 weeks and no issues with the AC unit.

I stumbled upon this company by accident, and I am so glad I did! The office staff was incredibly nice, and Jason went out of his way to take care of me even though I walked in out of the blue. When Nathan came to my house for a service call I was so impressed with how knowledgeable he was, and he made sure every question I had was addressed with a unique and personal touch. A technician was able to come out the say day on a Friday afternoon to diagnose the issues with our downstairs furnace unit. Based on the units age, the technician walked us through the costs of repair versus replacement. Ultimately it made more sense to us to replace the unit, which they were able to do the following Tuesday morning for a good price. The entire staff was very professional and respectful of our home while performing the work. We definitely recommend Brandons Comfort Specialists, and will use them in the future for our heating and cooling needs.

My upstairs A/C unit went out recently. I contacted Brandons for a quote. They were responsive, professional and quoted an installed price that was significantly less than the competition. They promptly scheduled the install, and arrived right at the agreed upon time. The technicians were courteous, professional and took time to explain the entire install process. They covered my flooring, and cleaned up after they left. I cant say enough good about this company, and they will be my go-to provider for residential HVAC service and repair!

He also explained in detail what he would be doing as part of his maintenance. When done with his work, he put things back like he found them even if after I helped move them to begin with. He explained what he found when performing his maintenance instead of having me just sign the service ticket. I was so impressed with Teon, that I called in and Laura connected me with his supervisor Jason. I let Jason know that Teon was setting the bar for his technicians. They replaced the units in my home when the original units when out. They have always had exceptional service. I just had my fall service and one their techs, Nathan has set a new bar in customer service. He was very professional, extremely polite and thoroughly explained an issue that could have become a bigger problem. I also spoke to CL on the phone and he was very professional as well. Casey helped me trouble shoot a couple points prior to setting up the home visit, which was appreciated since it was approaching 100 degrees in the house that day! She ensured I had the unit off to help expedite the process of thawing the unit for when the tech arrived. The tech arrived when scheduled. Great company, honest and reliable. We use them twice a year for winter and summer maintenance checks on our two systems. The techs are always honest, professional and courteous. The office staff is great too, always helpful and friendly, I recommend this company to anyone.

I had purchased my new furnace/AC from this company about 7 or 8 years ago. I was very pleased with the work they did. I had also purchased the maintenance plan through them. A few months ago, my AC quit cooling. I called the company and a gentleman came out and looked it. He couldnt find out what was really wrong with it. He did blow out the plumbing pipes in my bathroom where the AC drained into. He left and it did cool down some. It still didnt get as cool as I liked it so I called them back. They set up another appointment. Once again I took off work in order to be at home when they came. I no more got home and they said they had gotten tied up with another appointment and we rescheduled the appointment. The gentleman that came out checked things out and once again blew out the pipes in the bathroom. He wasnt very friendly. When he went to leave he told me that if it happened again not to call them but to call a plumber - that was the best thing he did. On Labor Day weekend it went out again do I called a plumber. The plumber came right out and he asked why I called a plumber so I told him what had happened. He checked the plumbing and he told me that nothing was wrong with the plumbing. He called an AC person who worked for their company and he came out immediately. He went in the attic and found a plug that had been unplugged. He went outside to check the unit and found a part that had gone bad. He replaced that part and everything has worked great ever since. He even took the time to show me the bad part and the new part so that I could see the difference. I tried to call Brandons to talk to the owner. I was told he was out of the office. I asked when a good time to call back and was told that he would call me back, which he never did. I called back again to cancel my maintenance agreement and at that time asked to talk to the owner. The lady I was talking to said she was one of the owners. I told her what had happened and she said their serviceman hadnt down anything wrong. I do not recommend this company! It really makes me angry that I had been a good customer for quite awhile and the owner never even returned my call. Again - I do not recommend using this company,

Called Brandon’s to have someone come and check my A/C that had gone out. They were able to come out quickly. The tech was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue and what it would take to fix. I ultimately decided to have the unit replaced which I was already thinking of doing. They showed up on time for the install, worked efficiently and made sure everything was working properly before they left. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of HVAC Repair/Replacement. Overall great experience from the first phone call thru the completed install.

Ive used Brandons for at least 6 years now--since we had to replace the AC units that originally came with the house. Theyre great, and I love their maintenance plan, especially since when I forget to schedule my semi-annual maintenance, they call me to remind me. The techs have consistently been friendly and HONEST. Today we had Nathan come out for our check and he was sooooo good with my ASD seven-year-old. He let my son watch what he was doing to the outside units and even let him help spray one of them down (with water). Havent seen a need to call anyone else.

Great service, they came the day I called and it was on one of the hottest days of the year. They got my new A/C up and running the next day (again while it was 100+ outside). The new A/C is brisk and crisp. Its invigorating and I welcome it like a long lost friend. The only thing that Brandons could do better is get rid of the service fee they charge for coming out to take a look (If you buy a new A/C, get rid of the service fee).

Nathan was my tech today. He was very polite and well spoken. He did my spring a/c start up and to my knowledge did a very good job. I would recommend him and Brandon’s a/c for your needs.

This is a very sincere review because Im too busy to take time for these silly things...but Brandon EARNED this review. I have used this company for over 20 years. Nope, no relatives, just luck of the draw. But time and again they simply prove to me that they ACTUALLY GIVE A DARN about their customers and the business we give them!! We contract with Brandon for regular annual maintenance to make sure we dont have any surprises. This week I noticed that the system was not able to cool us below 78 degrees even though we were calling for 76. This was during the hot part of the day...at night we are fine. Bottom line, I needed to change a filter in the upstairs unit and Im not familiar with where the filter went and am not as nimble as I used to be. They kept trying to get a service tech to just stop by and put it in for me, but their workload has been nuts...I get that. So today, I whined to Jason at the office that I could not figure out the filter issue and he said no problem...Ill run by in a bit. WHO DOES THAT???!! An hour later, Jason knocks on the door, looks at the thermostat, runs upstairs and puts in the filter for me but also checks the system that seemed to be under-performing (we have two units for up and downstairs). He discovers that the downstairs unit was low on coolant...goes to his truck...and adds what was needed. Then he checked the coil and found it to be suspect. He called the office, confirmed that we were still under our 10 Year Warranty, and ordered the part. This is an example of the type of people who work at Brandons! They appreciate our business and go the extra mile whenever possible. It was a HOT, STICKY, FRIDAY afternoon...I would have gone to the pool or the closest bar, but Jason took care of a cranky customer!! This is why I will continue to do business with Brandons. May not be the cheapest, but nobody can match the VALUE they give AFTER THE SALE! THANKS!!

I used Brandons Air because they sponsor our Marauder football team, last time they were good. This time, No, they hit me for $75 service call, then wanted $130 to find the leak and $130 for R22 Freon which my unit doesnt take, the technician made me feel like he was trying to get a lot of money from me. I was looking at $800-$900, fixed for $350. I wont use them ever or refer them ever, not good.

Brandon did an excellent job of performing the yearly AC tune up and fixing the AC that was not working.

Im extremely frustrated and embarrassed to have to write this review. When we needed a new A/C, Brandons came out and did a wonderful job. So, when my parents moved down here and needed a new unit, of course we recommended Brandons. It turns out their experience has been polar opposite. It starts with being up-sold a unit that is not designed for their house, followed by a maintenance contract where things like clogged pipes were ignored, and finally turned into the need to buy yet another new A/C unit only three years after buying the one Brandons recommended. I am appalled at the amount of money in electrical and new HVAC expenses my parents now have to spend due to Brandons shoddy work and incompetence. Needless to say I will not make the mistake of recommending this company to people I care about in the future. Clearly something has gone terribly wrong and their quality has dropped dramatically.

Great folks to deal with. We have been a customer for a number of years now. All of their technicians have been very professional. Never pushing to do extra work. If something is noted, they give clear and concise suggestions and let you make the decision.

We have used Brandons for many years for heating and air replacements or repairs. They are very kind and professional, usually timely (although this last time they were late) and helpful as to what is really needed with cost considerations.

I was very happy with the service I received from Brandons, from the initial diagnosis of terminal to the installation of the new WONDERFUL A/C. All the guys were polite and knowledgeable with any questions I had.

I have had good luck with Brandons. They installed two Trane XL20i air conditioners, two Trane Clean Effects units, two Comfortlink II thermostats (XL950), and two XC80 gas heat units in my house about three years ago and they have been very helpful all the way around. Jason talked me out of the more-expensive XC95 furnace, explaining that the difference in efficiency would never make up the difference in price. I really appreciate being talked into spending less money.I would not recommend that anyone purchase the Comfortlink XL950 thermostat. Those things are terrible. The XL20i, Clean Effects, and the XC80 are all functioning flawlessly.I keep the maintenance plan on the systems so I know that they are in perfect operation and maintained properly. The technicians are always friendly and knowledgeable and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

Had my complete system replace several years ago,had problems right out of the box which they fixed with a patch on something inside the handler. Now to my suprise i go into the attic to add some much needed addl insulation and find all the old duct work that was supposed to be carted off just thrown about the attic. Lazy lazy work
