Tactical Heating and Air provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. They arrived promptly and kept great communication about their arrival time. Taylor was extremely informative, helpful, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue in just 10-15 minutes, and can’t beat their pricing. He even followed up the next day to ensure everything was still working smoothly. I truly appreciate their professionalism and customer service—highly recommend this company!

Short story. These guys are amazing, they treat you like a human (no matter your gender). They work fast & they work well.Long story. Our heater quit working on a 17 degree weekend, I called another company (one toward the top of googles suggestions) & they came out, they told me we needed a whole new circuit breaker, that there were none in town & it would be 4 days until one came in & they could install it & it would be $750 to order (I’m pregnant and we have 2 small children… 4 days in a 50 degree home wasn’t going to cut it) So, I called ever heating company from the top of googles suggestions to the very last one. Each person I called said basically sucks to suck hope it gets working, until I got to the last suggestion.. Tactical… I gave the same speal about needing a new circuit board, they said there’s none in town, do they keep any on hand, blah blah blah… he not only explained why no one keeps them on hand but gets them from a warehouse but said hey, tell me what’s going on, & offered a second opinion only if I was interested. They came out 2 hours later got in the attic and said we think it’s something else let’s try and fix it this way, which they did & got it rolling. In the night it stopped working so I texted them and said hey it’s shut off again could you come see what’s going on, he said I’ll be there in 2 hours, came and said it is in fact the circuit board & that was confirmed because the part was brand new and still sending error codes, but he called the warehouse and there were FIVE in stock & they were HALF the price I had been told by the first company. He had it picked up, installed and running in an hour.These two men were both kind, well spoken, explained things without belittling, and stood behind their work make sure that we had a running heater one way or another.I can not sing their praises enough.10/10

Preston came out about a week ago when air conditioner went out. Ended up being a blown transformer and the communication wire was messed up. Had another incident yesterday when A/C went out and Taylor came out and fixed it free of charge. Laid back guys. We definitely need more customer service like that in Amarillo. The saying here from everywhere I go is “It is what it is” but with these guys they go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.

94 yr old inlaw heat pump had heat only up to 69 degees. Somehow Tactical said heat strip fuses were all bad and the compressor bad. Can see that fuses were bad maybe, but if compressor out also how was it 69 inside and lower than 30 degrees outside. Before Tactical came, it worked. After it did not. Thermostat also crapped out. They charge same rate whether Owner comes out or guy in training. Trainee likes to argue back. Owner knows the business, but dont agree trainee should be sent out alone or at tech rate. Just a matter of lost trust at this point. Had another company come out and got a replacement compressor on warranty. Warranty not offered by Tactical even though unit was not registered when replaced one year before.

We were having issue with noise being produced in our vents so we called Tactical Heating and Air. They got us on the schedule within two days and were able to fix the problem in short order. I was given videos of what they adjusted and how they fixed the problem, and they walked through some potential issues on filter buildup with my wife. They showed up exactly on time and resolved the whole issue in about 30 minutes. Incredibly friendly and professional, I would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat.

Called not expecting to get a same day appointment but they came within a few hours. Fixed my air conditioner. Taylor and Matt did. an excellent job.

He came out and explained all what was the issue with our HVAC at the time. Fixed the issue and even told us how old our unit was. Will be using TH&A for any issues going foward. Wish him well going foward in his journey of starting out on his own. Called him back out as I had a additional issue with my line leaking. He got right on it and did an amazing job!
