I highly recommend Scottco and specifically Steven. We thought we had a slab leak and had 4 different plumbers come look to diagnose our water issue. We had 2 say it was cold line issue and 2 say it was a hot water issue. With prices ranging from $2500-$8000. Steven came out took his time, used his experience and wisdom to figure it was the water line going to the fridge that was leaking. Found the leak and had it repaired in an hour. Final bill $257. I am so thankful Steven was diligent to find the problem. Otherwise we would have had all kinds of holes in our floor and/or walls. Thank you Scottco and Steven for helping solving my water problem and eliminating a lot of stress and wasteful expenses. Call Scottco they took care of me.

I called Scottco to get a camera inspection at my aunt’s house. They were able to come out early the next day. Nathan, the camera tech was very helpful and polite. He provided us with a report of what he found as well as a video on a usb thumb drive.

AC quit cooling.. called Scottco to come out.. they told me I needed the whole new condenser unit.. over $2500 so I had another company come out for a second opinion.. it was just my fan motor. They went and picked up a new fan and installed it in 2 hours. AC working great again. In the 100 and up temps all this company is about is $$$ and their employees making commission so they want to charge you for the highest repair! They have the cheapest diagnostic charge in town, but wonder why? Will not ever use them again.

Among the items we had done was a much larger replacement for our anemic stove light/vent. It was quite a job but they got it done in spite of considerable the difficult circumstances and in good time and under the estimate! The guys were extremely nice folks as well. We always use Scottco!

Best service ever!!!!! Call center i cant say they were the nicest to deal with. My whole house was backed up, all tubs, shower and toilets leaking out also. The call center woman gave me such a hard time, saying it wasnt an emergency and demanded I flush a toilet and create an EVEN bigger mess to prove the whole house was plugged even after i told her it was. I was upset at her for treating me like it wasnt a big deal and could wait. My whole master bathroom was flooded into the walls. Anyway, once she finally agreed to send someone, Ronnie came and he was here FAST. Like 30-40 minutes. He was so kind and patient. As if it weren’t 1am, you’d think it was 1pm by how upbeat he was! He got right to work, and found out for us it was something plugged in the septic. And he felt so bad about not being able to get it fixed. By then my husband pulled up and Ronnie stayed and talked to us offered all the ideas and info he had. We just appreciate him so much!!!! And thanks to him we had the info we needed to speed up the process and get the problem fixed the NEXT day. Even on a Saturday. By noon we had everything draining! If he hadnt come we would probably still be trying to figure it out! Many thanks yall! Will definitely be calling yall in the future!!!

Highly recommend them for Generator repair. Jeremiah responded to our message within ten minutes. Matt came to check out our Generator and he and newbie Trey came back the next day and got us up and running!! Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable.A year later and have left multiple messages for Matt and Jeremiah and they never call back. Guess they wont be getting out generac business again.**Found out Scottco changed personnel and Jeremiah and Matt no longer worked there, so.. thats why they didnt return my calls.

Although they ultimately couldn’t fix the problem because it was on the city side they did try and were courteous and professional.

I had my yearly plumbing inspection in 10/10/2024. I was called at 7:30a and told a plumber would be at my house between 8:30a and 9a. Shortly after 8:30a a plumber arrived. He drained my hot water heater, and inspected all of my sinks and toilets. He found a leak in one sink and he gave an estimate of what itvwould take to fix it. He also recommended i replace yhe faucets to my Washing machine due to calcification ?? And a bend in the copper pipe. He also gave me an estimate on this repair should i decide to do it. He was very polite and showed me every problem he found and what his recommendation was. I appreciate Scottco doing all of my yearly inspection and recommending repairs before they become a major problemScottco called me to set up an appointment to have my yearly AC/Furnace and Electrical inspected. I was scheduled to see technicians on 03/10/23. I was called at 8:30am to see if they could send the AC Tech and about 15 minutes later I was called by Electrical to tell me there tech was en route. The AC technician arrived before 9pm and the Electrical tech arrived shortly thereafter everyone introduced themselves and went to work inspecting my AC/Furnace system as well as my electrical systems. All the tech were polite sand a pleasure to talk with. They were at home for about 30 minutes and gave me a copy their inspections with problems found and noted. I appreciate Scottco reminding when my yearly inspections need to be done and checking my equipment before I have a problem08/22/2024. I called Scottco on 08/21/2024 with a plumbing leak i had under my vathroom sink. I also need an outside faucet replaced. I was scheduled for an appointment on 08/22/24. At 7:30am i was called by Scottco and told they had a tech available between 8:30am to 9am. The tech showed up at 8:45 am and looked at the ink and the plumbing. He explained yo me why i couldnt fix the leak and that i need a new downpipe from the sink and two new water tun off. I was given an estimate for the repairs and the other work i requested. I approved the repairs and about 45 minutes later the work was done to my satisfaction. The tech was friendly and he was a joy to talk to. Scottco took care if my problems quickly and efficiently. The price was reasonable and mow i dont gave to worry about a major leak. Thanks guys. Gary Trupe.

Preston & Jesus we’re very professional , courteous and explained everything they were going to do before they started . After they finished up with the work! I went online to looked up for the price of the water pipe faucet…only less than $20. Yet they charged me $250 just for 5 minutes work!!! They are way over priceeeeeeee!!!

They were very professional. They were able to come out the same day and he was able to inform me of the way that my furnace works. He was also able to help me light the pilot and offered to replace the ignitor. Job well done. It was quick and not overpriced.

. I’m a super saver member so they come inspect AC/heat and plumbing and flush the hot water heaters. Being a super cyber member also allows me if I need them on the weekends to get the normal rate. It’s just kind of piece of mind for me.

The Plummer was very courteous and knowledgeable. I was pleased with the work and the fact that he respected my home by wearing booties although that was not necessary.

We used them to replace a chandelier on a 30 foot ceiling. Matt worked all day building scaffolding after their scissor lift wouldn’t fit through the door. Quality work and solid work ethic replacing it. Would use again.

Twice Ive used them. Both times the work was done quickly and accurately. But, the price was extremely high and not itemized in any way. So the money was a little disappointing but they did get the jobs done well, and fast.

I had a membership with them where they would come check my ac units and plumbing in the spring and the heat units and electrical in the fall. When they came to check the units this spring, I was advised by the technician that we were going to have to replace a reverse valve on my small unit. He called me back a couple days later and gave me quote of about $700 for both part and labor. Well just about the time I was getting ready for them to come replace the valve we started getting rain and they could never come due to safety reasons. In between all the rescheduling I was advised of having to replace the compressor as well by a supervisor that had never even came and looked at my unit and he had originally given the technician a quote for repair for both of $3,200 and to replace $4,400. I then called and talked to the supervisor to ask why so much if just one year before we had replaced the compressor on our bigger unit and it had been less than $1,500. He then states well since you have been a member for two years I can give you a discount and gave me a quote to replace of $2,900. I ended up getting a second opinion because of all of this and it ended up just being it needed some freon and cost me about $200.

We had an electrician come out Anna give us a quote on several jobs, 2 bathroom heater lights, a closet light, and a security camera installation outside. They came out and completed the jobs in great time and even under the quoted amount. Super happy customers!!!

Called and explained exactly what I needed fixed and they showed up without any parts. Charged for service call even though did not do anything. Had Frank’s come out same day and they showed up with required equipment and parts to perform the repairs.

Wouldnt you know it, all of my drains backed up on a Saturday and I was expecting the worst. I called my regular plumber and 2 others and nobody picked up the phone line (due to the weekend Im sure). When I finally reached my regular plumber, they told me the earliest they could have somebody out was February 14 (Valentines Day)🙄So I crossed my fingers and called Scottco. They had somebody out to take a look that very same day (Saturday). Unfortunately he didnt have access to a camera. However, he tried his best to clear the clog. He was working over an hour but didnt charge me a cent. I made an appointment for the following Tuesday to have a camera available with a plumber for a possible diagnosis. (Im sorry Im unable to recall everyones names) However, he spent a good 2 hours looking through my access lines and pipes attempting to determine where the plug or damage was. He narrowed it down to an area in my back yard close to my back fence and possible extending into the alley. Uh-oooh, this didnt sound good. However, I needed running water so I scheduled another visit for Thursday to hopefully clear out the clog. And same as Saturdays visit, there was no charge for Tuesdays camera visit. So, Thursday comes along and they spend a good 2-3 hours (perhaps longer) in my backyard trying their best to clear out the clog underground near my back fence leading into the alley. And, eureka! They finally got it. And I was so happy and blessed to only be charged their $99 drain cleaning special 😁 This was the total charge for all 3 visits 😳 I was astounded and thankful 🙏🏻 About 5 years prior to this, we had some cracked pipes beneath our home (1973 Belmar home) and I was expecting the same--and bracing myself for a repeat of busting through our floor tile and concrete foundation. Turns out that wasnt the case. It was my main drain line that needed clearing. The area was close to my back fence leading into the alley but not at the citys main sewer line. In the future, if I have any household issues or plumbing needs, I know who Ill be calling Whats their saying?Uh-Oh! Better call Scottco! 😄

I was having issues with my air conditioning unit and I have had a couple of other great experiences with Scottco so I decided to give them a call. The Tech showed up and quickly addressed the problem and explained what had happened. He did good quality work and the price was affordable. I got a clear estimate that included things that might go wrong in digging a trench through my yard to replace a water pipe. However, the team was very careful and completed the job quickly without problems. Jon and team did a great job and were true to the original estimate.Great team- very conscientious.

Scheduled a estimate for today but they couldnt make it. That is understandable. They did not call to tell me this after waiting all day. I called at 5:30 and thats when I was notified they were not coming.

I give 2 stars because the install was solid and functioning, the issue I had with them is they do not clean up behind themselves, they left dirty gloves in the back yard as well as broken pieces of pipes. When asked to clean up they attempted to hide the gloves and pipes in the holes they were filling, I’m not sure if company’s attempt to re level the soil as this one did not. Solid install terrible customer service from installers.

Scottco is our go-to company for plumbing/electrical/HVAC. Be nice if we didn’t have to use them so much, but they are also fast, efficient, and fix the problem. They are not necessarily the cheapest but I’ve had problems with others so at least in our case “you get what you pay for”.

We had a bad heating element on the hot water tank. Both John Hall and his partner John came out earlier than expected and fixed them issue. Both men were very honest and professional. I will use them again if issues ever arise

Im not a fan of leaving bad reviews. I had Scottco come out to change a leaky faucet in the bathtub that only needed a new cartilage. I was charged $399.00. Asking other people I found out that Scottco is known for this... I question their integrity. Be careful!!

They showed up quickly and were very nice. The price was very good, they were clean while working and did the job quickly.

They were prompt to come by and give me an estimate but when it came time to come do the work they kept pushing me back. They didnt have the courtesy to call and let me know. I had to keep calling to get updates. Then when they finally came by to do the work turns put they underestimated over $1,000! I had to hire someone else that ended up more reliable.

We used Scottco to completely update our heater and air conditioning. They also took care of tearing out all the duct work and replace it. Our attic was deficient in insulation so they took care of that too. The crew were courteous and professional from start to finish. We are so glad we chose Scottco

The service crew were quick to respond, clean, and courteous. The work was fast and we were only without hot water for a couple of hours. There was a minor leak after the install but they came back very quickly and corrected it.

The young very nice, saw what the issue was and was able to repair the AC and now it will be good few more years

Greg did an excellent job. He not only diagnosed the problems with two 100 gallon hot water heaters, but he pulled the burners and cleaned them and once the damper motors came in he made sure he tested everything t be sure it was igniting and working properly. Great job.

Im not a fan of leaving bad reviews on anything or anyone. Scottco did an inspection for us when we were selling our house. The inspection included a $12,000 bid on a sewer line that needed to be repaired. Three separate plumbers came out to give us a bid and all three agreed there was no problem at all. Asking other people we found out that Scottco is known for this... high bids on jobs that dont need to be repaired. Just be careful!!

Our drains were backing up all over the house. They called and let me know the technician was available if I was ready. He was super nice and got all the drains going great. The real wow factor was the technician explained everything to me and answered all of my 4 year olds questions. They are great!

I called Scottco to come out and do some electrical work in my garage. They had someone out within an hour and the technician had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Very reasonable pricing and the technician was very professional. Will use again.

This worthless company sent two incompetence to my place and they were successful for breaking my AC do not hire these people they stole $150 from me and Im still trying to get it from my credit card company two people made it worse not better these people are incompetent do not hire these worthless plumbers HVAC more like kindergarteners beware beware I just got 150 stolen from me from there incompetence and I have to pay somebody to really fix it for $150 Ill see him when they go to the Lake of Fire theyll be paying then beware stay away

We have used Scottco in the past for quite a few reasons and have always been pleased. We recently called. Our air conditioner was notworking. A rep came out, diagnosed the problem. After we ask three separatel times....He was adament this repair would fix the problem. We are on social security but paid 1/2up front. Work to start the following Monday. Patrick and Joel showed 9 am up as scheduled and done the work that was needed... By 1 pm they were finished.....It did not fix the problem. The first diagnosis was not what we needed. The rep never even checked the filter, coil or freon. There was still a problem. Patrick and Joel spent the rest of the afternoon finding the real problem, fixing it and talking to their boss to make sure we were all taken care of as if we were family. Thank you so much.

Best service Ive had! My whole house was shut down due to a drain blockage that goes out to the alley. Water had overflowed out of both downstairs toilets, showers and bathtubs. The plumber came out within an hour. I received a courtesy call and photo by email letting me know he was coming. Best of all he told me the price for a drain stoppage before he started. We were cleared in about 30 minutes. I wont use any other company again.

Called umpteen times and was told theyde come out several times. After the 4th or 5th call they finally showed up and billed me for a part and repair that was overnighted just to come out 2 weeks later for it. Was told a blower motor was replaced, but not on the unit that was down. $1200 later and a new installer just to find out the unit would have to be replaced cause it was R22. Have waited another 2 weeks for a Salesman to come out and of course hasnt shown yet. Call the competition, they were out the same day and diagnosed a clogged drier and had it fixed in an hour. I have called this company numerous times in the past couple of years and have always gotten the runaround, BUT NEVER AGAIN. Oh yeah, dont sign up for their service contract either because they will never come out, even though they bill you for it.

I had a gas leak going into my house. They came out and found the leak right away. They had to dig up the old line and put a temporary line on top of the ground and got me going during a cold rainy day. They came back the next week and dug the old line out and installed the new line. The service man was named Troy and he kept in contact with me and was very curious and professional.

Calvin S. was here to do the annual spring hvac check. He was very friendly, very thorough, and communicated with a positive energy even though it was very late in the day. He was professional and yet provided a level of friendly down home service that left us feeling confident with his work. He is welcome back anytime! Scottco is lucky to have him!

I called Scottco for a second opinion on a bathroom plumbing issue. I knew they would be closing soon, and was surprised they would send someone out the next morning- very quick. Ronnie checked it out, explained our options & got to work. Once he was able to clear our line, he double & triple checked to make sure there was no additional clog. Im definitely glad I called Scottco & would use them again should the need arise (but hopefully not too soon lol) :)

Brenten did an excellent job of assessing the problem and applying the necessary fix for our heater. Didnt take him long either, it was simply cleaning out a valve that fixed the problem. Thanks a bunch! This is why we trust Scottco! Dont do unnecessary things..they just fix the problem.

I dont know if their work is good but after we signed the contract they said they would get to us on Friday & if they didnt it would definitely be done Saturday. Well no one showed up so more days with no AC & heat.

They came right away when I had called them the first time around to do a consultation for a water heater. I recently called them again to come fix a pvc pipe and they keep pushing me back and don’t have the decency to call and let me know. This has been four days now of having rescheduled. Do you want your money or not?

These guys don’t Repair, they only want the diognostics fee. The Ac fan went out and I called them to come take a look at it to see what the problem was. I paid them$55.00 diagnostics fee and I was told that they’re not able to fix it and I needed to get a whole new unit which costs over $4,000. Next day I found a guy that fixes AC and he replaced my fan for under $200 and now my Ac has been running like a champ for over two weeks with no problem plus 6 months warranty.

The service men promptly checked out the heating system and installed a new thermostat. Techs were very friendly and nice.Highly recommend ScottCo for any service.

Just had Scottco by the house for a tune up of the ol air conditioning. The young Technician was very polite, and you can tell he really enjoys his job. It was rainy out, but every time he had to come back in the house, he was sure to wipe his feet. Sounds silly, but attention to little details like that speak volumes to the quality of work he puts into his job. Great service job! I would recommend them. Also super nice to the pets!

Technician was an hour late, no updates on the reason for the delay from Scottco, and was laughed at by a customer service representative while when I called to inquire where the technician was. Cancelled service and will find another electrician to work on my house.

Greg A. was very helpful with our problem we were having with our drain in the guest bathroom. If it hadnt been for his professionalism we never would have known that our drain pipe was eroded so the water from the tub had been leaking under our house the whole time. When I bought my house Scottco was the chosen contractor of the seller. They were supposed to replace some duct work under the house in which was on the receipt. So it was charged and I had saw a brand new box of soft duct. I assumed it was completed. After moving in I found low air flow and later found a roll of soft duct in the field that had blown away. Got under the house and surprise surprise the duct had never been replaced. I called and talked to a supervisor and he was to call me back and get things lined out. He never called back or returned my calls. Absolutely trash. Will never use scottco gor anything. Save your money and get a good contractor not after money and not full of lies.

I own the grooming salon next to the church they are working on, not one of the employees told us water was being shut off. I had dogs in the tub with shampoos and chemicals on them. Called Scottco to talk to a supervisor they hung up. I would never recommend someone who doesn’t care when the do harm to others

I called a Scottco on a Sunday after calling 3 other places. The other places either didn’t call me back or said they don’t do out of town on weekends. It was going to be 110 that particular day. Scottco called me within 15 minutes and told me they could come out or wait until Monday morning. They were there Monday before 9 am and had it fixed in 30 minutes.If I ever need anything with my AC again, I’ll be calling Scottco. Thank you so much!!!

I had a water heater replaced. I purchased the new water heater separately. I paid $800 to have the new water heater changed out and remove the old one. The time for this performance was an hour and 15 minutes. If plumbing labor is $150 an hour on the high side, why was I charged in essence $640 an hour for the labor(less the removal)?

Technicians were very personable and quickly replaced my washer hookups. Great experience and will definitely use Scottco in the future.

Morning of November 27, 2015 (Black Friday).....Ice storm and cold.....Furnace not coming on. Called Scottco and told them my problem that furnace not working and no heat. Amanda got me scheduled and told me I would have service sometime during the day. Cory called me back in approximately one hour and told me he had a technician he could send over. The technician came over (CJ is his name) and checked everything out and then explained everything he did and checked to me in language I can understand. Outstanding young man. $69.95 later my furnace is heating like it should and I am one toasty, satisified ScottCo customer. I highly recommend this group. This is the second time I have used them in a year and have nothing but positive to say about them.

Technician came to replace a 50-gal natural gas water heater. Straight forward install in a 12-year old home. Quoted $1400. The water heater quoted was Rheem and only cost $500. $900 for labor and materials is excessive.

The price for emergency services is outstanding and we didn’t have to wait long for a technician to show, which he was very professional and personable.

Ive had the 17$ Scottco monthly service plan for 2 years to maintain my heating/air and plumbing. Scottco has come out to do their AC checks since that time twice and i have complained that my AC is not working properly, runs always and doesnt cool which has caused 300$ summertime electric bills. Both times i was reassured that my AC is running fine. Finally after my outside units compressor fan went out I made the decision call a different company, after looking over my system the other company told me my system was overcharged and not cooling properly they fixed the issue that Scottco hadnt found in two years ive wasted more than 400$ plus my high electric bills on Scottco and will never use them again

Thermostat not wired correctly, heat pump locked out, all unbeknownst to me. 425$ electric bill showed up in January. Scottco says all is now fixed but theyre not interested in helping me pay this exorbitant electric bill. Im a monthly paying customer to their super savers club. What did that get me? Nothing. Very disappointed that theyll fix their shoddy work and appliance but leave me footing the electric bill.
