Another company came out to my house and said Id need a new $20,000 AC system. Chuck came out, fixed the leak and recharged my refrigerant for a much more reasonable price. He said I should be good for ten years. Im so glad I got a second opinion.

Chuck & His Staff have been a Huge Blessing to My Wife and I on Two different occasions. Both times the Service was OVER THE TOP and ZERO complaints on either Job. They were punctual and very professional, I had a previous quote from another contractor for 800 dollars. Allstar had me up and running in a jiffy and charged me 100 dollars.They have got a customer for life.

Austin and Colton were the service techs that were sent out they came right out and checked my ancient system out and really did a great job of checking everything and informed me of everything they did and about the old system anyway I was very pleased with the excellent way they handled everything very professional and knowledgeable Ive dealt with alot of the local heating and air companies since 80 as a home owner and these guys are at the top ! I will definitely use them again

Allstar heat and air have taken care of my system for years. They always arrive on time and take care of the issue quickly. The tech Austen was professional and very knowledgeable. Would recommendUpdate: I have had to use All-star several more times and they continue to provide excellent service. On more than one occasion, I have had a maintenance related issue that resolved in a matter of minutes. Colton had mentioned that due to the amount of times they have serviced me over the years, I could have the visit as a courtesy. It couldnt have came at a better time for my family and I will most certainly be using All-star and recommending them to anyone who will listen. Thank you All-star for treating me like family!

AllStar Heat and Air came out to our new home the first time a few months ago for a home warranty call and replaced my AC and thermostat, they were great and did a wonderful job. Just recently I had an issue with my unit not blowing air and my warranty company once again sent them out. They called me right away and were able to get me in that same day and replaced a capacitor. Unfortunately that only lasted a few days so I called my warranty company and they had Allstar call me again - once again they made no promises but said they would try to get out that same day, which they did. They replaced the motor in the blower and everything is running smooth. If I was looking around, Id definitely give them a call. Super friendly and professional, they get the job done and try to make sure youre taken care of the right way.

Weve had Allstar show up 2 times now to fix our ac in this hot weather. Both times he said it was a different problem. First was that our piping was to small for the unit and too much freon in the system. Yesterday all of a sudden we have the wrong freon in our system and said we have to replace the whole system. For one we have cold air, theres just no airflow. My wife had told him that we think its an airflow problem when she was on the phone with the company. My guess is he just came up with some excuse because he probably didnt know what he was doing. Either that or he didnt want to take the time to actually figure out the problem. Also my wife, her dad and the home warranty place all tried calling them with no answer. If it wasnt for the home warranty place calling them again they probably wouldnt have shown up or even returned any calls. Allstar is a complete joke. Would never recommend this company to anyone. The owner is very unreliable and apparently knows how to work the home warranty system to get his way. I hope this company goes out of business soon for the sake of this community.

I have three elementary aged children in the 102 weather in our home. They took 5 days to just come out and do an assessment. I do not recommend for anyone.To respond to the response from the owner. This comment is regarding the time it took for the diagnosis. This was not regarding the warranty, but the amount time it took for the company to come to my home and perform the testing. As the weather outside is reaching high temperatures. Please read the comment throughly to understand the complaint.

I’ve been using this firm since it was a one man operation. They have always went above and beyond for me and I feel they’re always honest. If Chuck and his guys tell me my unit needs this or this, I have complete and total confidence in what they’re saying. All star has serviced my home for over 15 years. Because of their work quality and their history, I will continue to use them for my heating and air conditioning needs. Thanks guys for great service.

All-Star Heat & Air did a great job on replacing my furnace that was original from 1976! Chuck helped me speed up my home warranty replacement paperwork which was awesome. Colton came and diagnosed the problem. He also checked in with me several times. Chris and Austin did an excellent job with install getting everything up to code. They even went above and beyond to make sure everything was vented properly and finished out. I definitely would recommend this company!

I contacted All-Star after receiving a rather hefty estimate on my older AC system in my house. Chuck and his team were very quick to answer and managed to get to me in a reasonable time. It was in the midst of a heat wave and they were super busy. They diagnosed a completely different issue, at a much more reasonable price and had us back up and running. At all times they were up front and explained the issues and what they possible causes and solutions might be. Since that first time, I have used Chuck and All-Star for other issues and highly recommend them and their service.

Our a/c was blowing hot air and our home warranty company called All-Star. They were here the next day and worked around my schedule. Colton and Austin (and the owner whose name i dont remember) were very nice and professional, even when I openly doubted that they had diagnosed the correct problem (I know, I know...). Well, they were right, I was clearly wrong, and my house is cooling down as I type! I will definitely call them again if we need any other repairs.

They had to install a whole new heating and air conditioner for us. The air conditioner had to be installed on the roof with the existing one removed. They could have used a crane to make it easier but used another option to save us money. The heater was in the attic. They had to cut our attic access bigger to get the new unit in. They finished everything out perfectly and quickly. They were very professional and lots cheaper than the other bids I received. They also showed up when they said they were going to which means so much !!!! They are our go to company !!!!!

Call this company for your Heating and A/C needs. My warranty company called All star for a second opinion and thank god Colton came out. Very professional and handled all of my home warranty paperwork kept me informed of everything that was going on. Could not ask for a better experience. Will definitely call them if I need anything else.

Austin and Chris did a great install replacing a unit from the 1970s that presented one problem after another. They were able to overcome these issues quickly. Im thankful to have a cold house again!UPDATE: Turns out, the initial problem was never fixed and now they refuse to work with me. Disappointed in their service.

When my A/C unit broke I was concerned and doubtful of a great outcome. My apprehensions were soon put to rest when my warranty company contracted All Star Hvac to render services. Chuck & Colton were prompt and quick to provide answers for my list of questions. They were knowledgeable of all the services I needed, they executed the installation with precision and stealth.

There is a reason why this company has bad reviews the owner is a mouth piece for American Home Shield he will patch a bad unit knowing it needs to be replaced! I would be shocked if any reviews above one star are real! He replaced my compressor and less than two years it was bad again they obviously have no idea what they are doing. You are about to spend a lot of money for a patch job or just bad work! Please find someone else that will find the problem and fix it this company is setting you up for another expensive service call.

My son has always dealt with Chuck at Allstar and loved them. Today I had to call regarding my heater not working. They came first thing in the morning assessed the problem, got the part and we are all warm again. Give them a call!!

Lets get right to the point. All-Star Heating and Air conditioning...SUCK!! I placed a service call with AHS, American Home Shield and they sent out these guys. They seemed professional enough face to face, but they are nothing more than a mouth piece for the warranty company! They checked my A/C unit and found a hole that had allowed all my Freon to leak out. Claimed the unit needed to be replaced. No Problem, right? WRONG!! They told AHS that in their professional opinion, the hole was obvious WHAT THE...?? So, of course my claim was denied. As if I had punched a hole in my own unit. Im no HVAC tech so I never saw any hole. Then, get this! All-Star places a bid to fix it at my cost for $3600! What a scam!! I decided to get a second opinion. A much better company came out. Yes, the unit could be patched but they recommended replacing it. So, I bit the bullet and replaced the whole thing. It cost more short term, but the unit All-Star was suggesting was a bottom of the barrel, bare bones unit with little or no warranty that might have lasted 5 or 6 years. My suggestion...AVOID All-Star Heating & Air Conditioning at all cost!

All Star Heating and air installed the Hvac units in the home we bought three years ago. Whenever it needs service I call them. They are always on time and professional. Whenever I call they come immediately or the next morning . Pricing is reasonable for the great work . I will wholeheartedly always recommend.

Home warranty company sent them. First time out they pulled out the air filter (about a month old) and said it is just a clogged filter. Second time out they checked the pressure and said it looks normal and will have another guy come look to check it. Third time out check pressure again and said they were going to refer it back to the warranty company because they couldn’t figure it out. They were late to every one of these appointments.

All Star Heat & Air...wow, they have been great. I had them do service at my house on two different occasions over the years. One was a fix on the a/c. Fixed right away and right the first time! One was thru my warranty company. Sorry to say the warranty company didnt cover it and All Star shouldnt have fixed it. I said NO to the warranty company, because they seem to be unrealiable, so I had All Star come back and fix the furnace.

Chuck is a Great supervisor, he made the correct choices in choosing his Team! These guys are ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, & they not only focus on fixing the problem alone, but THESE GUYS REALLY CARE as if it was their home! You guys are the BEST ! I’d recommend them to anyone , ALL STAR HEATING & AIR GREAT JOB , keep up the GOOD WORK!

Put in a service request last night and they called today to schedule an appointment 3 days out, but had a last minute cancelation and were able to come over today. Problem was diagnosed within 30 seconds of looking at it and told me what to do to fix it. Wonderful company!!! Quick, easy, and professional!

AC stopped cooling. Had a previous bad experience with all star heating and air so I called the AC company with the best reviews in amarillo to come diagnose the problem. They spent 2 hours going through my entire system and found a leaky valve on the unit outside. He said it was probably 1 or 2 lbs low on freon. He wrote up a report and went on his way. I then called warrantee company ahs and they sent all star heating and air. C####n showed up and took the cover off the outside unit. Called his boss who told him to spray water on the unit. When the temperature (obviously) dropped and the load went down he told me it needed to be cleaned and thats why it worked better when he put water on it. I showed him the report from the previous company that came the day before and explained that I had already cleaned the unit with a foaming product and it was obviously clean, spotless. He refused to add freon and insisted they schedule a cleaning. He wanted to charge $150 to spray their superior foam on it. I refused the cleaning and insisted he add freon. I showed him the freon leak(freon oil was obvious, and lots of it) and he pretty much took off running to his truck and left. He got very nervous when he couldnt get away scamming me. He didnt even put my outdoor ac unit back together!! He was a nice kid but obviously afraid he would get in trouble if he didnt sell the expensive foam cleaning. They do have cheaper freon per pound than other companies but they wont sell it to you without selling the cleaning for $150. They also told me my warrantee did not cover the cleaning so I would have to pay them directly. I later called american home shield to complain and they told me my warrantee does in fact cover cleaning so it looks like all star was trying to double dip on payments. Look for companies with good reviews. Plenty out there. Avoid these guys. Scam artists.

I’m giving them 1 star because I can’t leave a review without doing so. If I could they would get a minus 10. They are scam artist and scoundrels. They were sent out to my house my my home owners warranty company (First American Home Owners). My air conditioning stopped cooling. It was blowing air, but not cold air. I placed a service call with FAHO and they sent All Star Heating & Air. I live in a double wide manufactured home out of the city limits. I should also mention I’m a 68 year old widow living on a fixed income. Being the trusting person I am, I did not stand over the service tech to watch what he was doing. I have an outside unit and inside there is a unit that houses the coils etc. when the Sunday night when the air stopped cooling, I removed the panel one the inside unit to make sue the coils hadn’t froze over. I didn’t notice any pulled or undone wiring. I placed the call the next morning with FAHO. They assigned All Star to come out. Monday I received a call from All Star saying they could be out Tuesday between 8 & 12. My son came over Monday night and turned the ac on and to see what it was doing. It was blowing air, but not cold air. He pulled the panel off the inside unit to check it. All Star came out at 11:00 on Tuesday. The tech turned on the ac and again it was blowing air, but not cold air. He messed around with it for a little bit and then went outside to check the outside unit. I remained in the living room to stay out of his way. He came backs in and proceeded to tell me that the wiring had been pulled out under the house. He said it was probably some wild animal that got tangled up in it. He took me to the inside unit to show me where the wires were undone. He said FAHO would not cover it, but he could run new wiring for $200. I told him I didn’t have $200. I had to scrape up the $75 for the service call. I called my daughter and told her what he said. She told me she was going to call her brother (my son). My son calls me and I let him talk to the service guy. He told my son what he had told me. He told him they would have to replace with new wires. My son asked him why he couldn’t just reattach the wires since FAHO wouldn’t cover it what difference did it make? The service tech to,d my son because All Star was a top notch company and the would only do a professional job and that required them to replace with new wiring. My son said no, he would come out to see for himself. The tech left and when my son arrived and removed the panel he noticed the caps to the wires were off and the wires undone. He turned on the ac and nothing. It didn’t come on. He also noticed the smell of burning electrical. He went outside and went under the house and found where the wires had been pulled out from the inside unit. He called The tech and told him he needed to come back out and repair the damage he caused. They got into a heated discussion. Then he spoke with the owner and he told him his guy needed to come and fix the mess he created. The owner said his guy didn’t do anything and he was’t talking anymore and hung up. When they turned the work order into FAHO this morning they put on the order that the wiring had been chewed up but animals. Of course FAHO isn’t going to cover the repairs. Now not only am I without air conditioning, this winter heat. I now have to come up with the money to find a reputable company to come and repair the damage All Star did because they thought they could scam me out of $200. As home owners we pay money to these home owner warranty companies who have companies like All Star on contract because they are cheap. This gives these companies the means to scam people out of more money. If you’re a home owner with a home owner warranty beware if they send All Star out to service you heating and air.

Chuck has patched up and made good ac system at cabin, complete new system install at my sisters house. Plain and simple he finds the solution and works with what you can do at the time.. Highly Reccomend, working mans friend.

We own some rental property in the area. Charlie and his techs are always on time, dependable, and experienced. Theyre always courteous to our tenants, too. We highly recommend this company.

This company is a total joke. There is a leak in the Freon line and all they want to do is come refill it and not repair the leak. They work for the home warranty company and all they want to do is collect the money and never return.DO NOT waste your time with these guys.

We love using All Star for all of our properties. Colton and Chuck always give us fast and great quality work. Wouldn’t use anyone else to work on our HVAC needs.

We have a Preventative Maintenance Contract with All Star. They take care of our equipment at 3 locations and have always done a first rate job! Installation, repair and maintenance!

Chick is trustworthy and very knowledgeable of HVAC and heat pump systems. I have used All-Star for 7years now and never had an issue.

Absolute worst! Home warranty company had them come out three times and still didnt fix my heater. I put one star because it didnt give me the option to put up negative stars.

This is the worst unprofessional HVAC contractor there is in Amarillo. They do not have the decency and the common courtesy of of returning calls and are impossible to reach on Fridays thru Saturdays. Do not deal with this company, avoid at all costs.

Company is a scam. They want to bring the wrong parts and when you call them on it they on it and it didn’t even fix the problem with my AC not cooling at all.

They are very nice and helped us to stay warm even when we did not have much. they also did not charge us extra for unexpected time they had to spend at our home.

Came out said needed part....ordered, then blamed problems on home warranty company...would nokt return phone calls *repeatedly...have proof on my phone....rude and condescending when calls back...shouldnt take job they dont know how nor are authorized to fix...told warranty co not to send them near my home..not nice people....no follow up blame everyone else...would not recommend to anyone ....enough said
