We had a recall on our heat pump and the company that originally installed it is no longer an authorized dealer. I found this company online to handle the recall and I ended up calling them. Since they were going to replace the recalled part, I also asked them to service the unit. Derek came out and replaced the part, and while servicing the unit discovered that the uv bulb was burnt out. He said that he would order the bulb and come back to replace it. The next call was about the cost of the bulb. It was expensive, over $400 with installation. But as I have respiratory issues, we decided to replace the bulb. It was replaced, but stopped working 2 days later. I called the company to tell them what happened and over several days there were numerous phone calls (with the owner getting involved). It was determined that our Air Scrubber unit, which is 5 years old, was actually faulty. Not many people buy these units and we were concerned about the cost of a new one. The owner, understanding our situation, agreed to install a new & improved Air Scrubber unit at his cost! We even have a spare bulb, as the bulb that we had purchased still fits the new unit. He adjusted schedules so that Derek could install the unit while I was away. The new unit was up and running for 3 days before I returned home. Now this is a person who knows how to provide customer service! This was a couple of months ago and my sneezing and coughing are at their lowest levels in years. My partner and I couldnt be more pleased. The owner and his team are the absolute best!
