Weve used Stoffers for about 7 years and we have such an excellent service every time. The workers are clean, well spoken, polite, and quick. Steven was our most recent technician and he was awesome! We LOVE the summer and winter service reminders we get in the mail. Its a nice helpful reminder to take care of our most important AC unit!! We appreciate all they do for our community!

Steven showed up exactly on time for my Saturday after-hours appointment with all the equipment and tools to troubleshoot my overflow pan problem. Great service, clogged shitterI had them install a new furnace in my home this week. It was affordable. Also liked that the service techs are not salesmen and do not make commissions (According to the tech). Installation was pretty short considering I was replacing a furnace in the attic in my 2 story home. Very courteous and offered to vacuum up afterwards.BUT...not 15 minutes after they arrived one of the guys asked for a restroom. The guy was in there long enough for me to forget about him so I pulled on the door handle and got mad b/c I thought he just left it locked while he was in there. Sorry dude... When I finally get in there the toilet was completely clogged. IDK if he used an entire roll of TP or the guys dookie was the size of the greater Houston area. Too many breakfast tacos I guess. Must have been a record for girth of poo. Luckily I did not see it. Thought I got a new heater but now needed a toilet... The story ends happily. I got it unclogged after about 3 hours of battling with the beast.Anyways keep up the great work guys. Probably will call Stoffers when my old AC breaks this summer haha.

I called Stoffer’s AC & H to schedule a service call to assess a cooling problem we were experiencing following Beryl’s electric power outages and startup surges. They immediately scheduled service for the following morning. Steven arrived on schedule and promptly attended to business following my description of the problem at hand. He immediately pinpointed the primary problem which led to the final diagnosis of the major malfunction my HVAC was encountering. Steven is highly professional & very knowledgeable in his trade, and explained each step along the way to arrive at a very favorable conclusion. A/C wasn’t cooling. Scheduled an appointment with the Technician named Steven. He found a bad capacitor and replaced it. He saw another potential problem and recorded it on the invoice for future consideration.This was the second time using this company and each time, the service was great.

I Called Stoffer’s Air Conditioning & Heating because I was having some issues with my a.c. Unit. I was worried it was fixing to go out, because it was dripping water out of the overflow line on the back patio.Steven with Stoffer’s was able to get out to my house after hours and fix my issue. He was extremely polite and explained that the main drain line was clogged and he would just need to blow it out. That was it. It was fixed. My a/c wouldn’t work after my power was restored, (6 days without electricity), so I called Stoffer’s to get on the weekend emergency repair list. Steven showed up and worked tirelessly in my sweltering attic to hunt down a short in the system. He was Determined to get me cold air before he left, and that’s just what he did. I called in the morning to schedule to have my heater looked at after the freeze because it was trying to come on and wouldnt. Stoffers was able to have a service tech come out that day. Dakota called to let me know he was on his way and came out 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Dakota looked at the heater and repaired it immediately. I have always had the best experiences with this company. Their customer service is A+++. They are always one time and if they can arrive early they call and ask first. Additionally, they keep me informed as they are completing the maintenance on my A/C and furnace. I have never had any “surprise” charges. They have kept my house cool in the summer and warm in the winter for over 8 years.

Stephen, was very professional and efficient. I always use Stoffers for my AC & heating yearly cleaning & any issues. The only issue I had was pressure cleaning my AC line that goes to my bathroom sink got stopped up & I had to call a plumber to unstop my bathroom sink.

This is a family run business with excellent employees from the office manager to the crews to the owner . Customer satisfaction is their primary goal . Only use top of the line equipment and is very responsive . It’s great to have such a high quality and professional business in the area . I highly recommend for any of your needsAugust 2023: Stoffers has done maintenance and recently replaced one of my two units . Their personnel are very experienced and professional in all cases, and their office manager does a great job communicating status and schedule . Their cost is very competitive and I appreciate that they are a family run business which is always my preference to support. The installation crew did a great job in correcting a couple cooling issues and did a fantastic job overall. I highly recommend Stoffers AC for any cooling and heating needs. Our air conditioner quit working overnight. We live in a mobile home. Many AC companies do not service mobile homes. Stoffers sent out a technician the next day. We understood that during this brutal heat, repairs are in high demand. Our AC technician arrived twenty minutes early, and had our capacitor replaced in minutes. Very personable, professional and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this company. The pricing is reasonable.

I tried other AC people about my sequencer needing to replaced and they all were uninterested in doing the swap. It finally stopped working at all. I ordered a sequencer on line but like most all parts it was an upgrade from the original 2000 year sequencer i.e. more connections than the original. I transfered wires and noticed more connection and stopped and Stoffers who sent a technician out the next day. This guy knew what line in and lines out meant and low voltage and high voltage connections. He did an amazing job figuring out the mess I made for him. They will be my go to ac/heat company from now on.

This is by far the best and most honest A/C company I have ever dealt with. On time. They notified me every step of the way. Ryan and Wayne quickly found a leak on my copper condenser line and repaired it very fast. It cost me 225 dollars. Another company wanted to charge me several thousands dollars to fix my cooling problem because they misdiagnosed the situation and automatically assumed that an expensive part had to be replaced !! Also, 2 weeks ago, when Bruce came originally to investigate the situation, he knew right away that a leak was somewhere and recharged refrigerant in the system for only 100 dollars compared to several hundreds dollars that the afformentionned company wanted to charge me. On both visit, they were right on time, and their window time was only 08:00-08:30, not those stupid 09:00 to 12:00. When you called their office, Vicky answers quickly and she is super nice.So YES, they will be my AC people favorite.June 2020Another great job, Joseph came to maintain my AC and found that the pipe that evacuates the water collected in the AC was plugged, which explain why the plate located under the unit was full of water and why the emergency pipe was leaking a lot.The pipe was plugged because it was installed improperly, totally horizontal, forcing the water to stay stagnant instead of flushing properly. He did fix the problem and even try to correct a little bit by forcing the pipe to go down so that the water would not stay as stagnant as before.Joseph explained very well the situation and did not rush to do what was needed.See you guys next year..or later!April 2024Steven who went to do the maintenance was on time and even called me to inform me of the ETA. He spent a great amount of time to find a leak, even when it was just a routine inspection and determined that the leak was probably located inside the house. He called the office to set an appointment a few days later.Ryan, the Leak Detector Champion (aka LDC!!) arrived at my place on time and quickly found the problem and fixed it in no time. And by the way, he gave me a discount because the leak was found quickly. You cannot beat that!I also want to mention the courteous and professional manner of the ladies in the office!All of you, you ROCK!!

Several times I have used them. Even in the thick of heat or cold they are more responsive than any company I ever had. Their personnel, from service to office, are personable and professional. Their diagnosis is fast and always right on so there are no extra visits.

Stoffer’s arrived at my house within an hour after calling and completed the necessary repair in very little time and my house began cooling down immediately. Out side unit fan was not turning and motor humming. House was very hot. Steven arrived early and quickly determined the problem. He had the necessary part, installed it and had the house cooling again. He then went in the attic, blew out overflow lines with compressed air and poured bleach in as part of maintenance. They know there stuff! Dakota and his partner were very knowledgeable and repaired my mini split system in just a couple of hours. Dakota has game! He took the entire system apart, cleaned it up and put back together with new evaporator! Running and looking like new!

I love working with this company. My AC unit broke down and I called and they quickly set me up with a technician by name DEE. DEE is a great, knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful gentleman. Dont bother calling other companies in this area. If you have an issue with your air conditioning, you can go ahead and call Dakota. My air went out in April and I was miserable. Dakota arrived to assess the issue with our air conditioning before I even got a call back from any other place. Dokota fixed it, and we were fine. Then, today, part of the ac decides to MELT another part of the AC today, in June (love my state, but I hate the heat, ok). By the time he finished replacing the part (dont ask me what part because I have no idea), our house was already beginning to cool. He even stuck around long enough to make sure the job was complete! Hes fast, professional, helpful, friendly, and ethical. I received quotes from other businesses in the area the first time and his fees werent only on the more affordable side, but he provided high quality work for less than others have charged. This time, we did not bother calling anyone else because were officially loyal customers. Five stars, perfect, 100%, A+.

My Air conditioner stopped working one night. Just over 12 hours later Dakota and Angel had it running again, which is great considering we were already in the summer heat. After only about an hour they had the bad transformerreplaced with a new fuse built in so next time it will be an easy fix and save on replacement parts. Great work.

We called about 12:30 pm and were given an appointment range between 2 pm and 4 pm for the same day. The technician arrived almost 10 minutes early. He was polite and courteous. He determined the reason for the problem and made the repair within an hour. We believe the price we paid for the part and service call was fair.

The best thing about Stoffer’s is that you feel like you are trusted family; they truly care and go out of their way to make sure your heater and air conditioning systems are working to potential. They get the leaves out of the system, put it on blocks, install drainage pipes, and check the pressures and amps. I am not an expert, but they communicate clearly, so I can understand. We are very fortunate to have them here in our area!

Not only were they early, which I told them was fine because I would be at home, but they were nice, efficient, great price and the most important were fine with my dogs! They were recommended by another friend, and I will highly recommended them. They even made suggestions and gave prices but were not pushy or even suggestive. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name, but I will be using them for my summer service.

Called Stoffers in the morning and they said someone would be out same day in the afternoon which was fantastic! Tried to replace my thermostat and just ended up messing up a bunch of the wiring. Dakota showed up on time and walked me through my mistakes giving me a little more knowledge and he fixed everything up along the way. 11/10 would recommend!

I have had several experiences with this company over the past 5 years. The repairmen are the best. If I was rating only them I would give an off the charts rating, however, I agree with previous customers who have said the women who answers the phone and schedules the jobs is very disrespectful. Is she related to the owner? Has she been working there too long? I cant understand why someone thinks it is okay to speak to their customers this way. 5 years is long enough. I will not be using their services again. I think for my business I should be spoken to much more politely.

From the first service call to complete installation, they have been 5 star. We received quotes from 3 other local companies but Bruce sold us on Stoffers. Among the cost and services offered, Bruce mentioned some problems we were currently having and solutions to fix. While they were out installing, the guys fixed those issues. We had a problem with our home warranty people. They said our ac compressor was bad and would not honor the warranty because it was a pre-existing condition. Plan had only been in effect for 5 days. Called Stoffers for a second opinion. They were here in 3 hours. Technician looked at it. Said home warranty guy had torn up the contactor. He found a bug inside the contacts they had caused it to stop. He replaced it and had it running in 30 minutes. There was nothing wrong with the compressor. Bruce was great and we really appreciated him being honest about what was wrong. Very professional!

We have been using Stoffers for the past four years in multiple houses. Their pricing has been very fair and they are responsive. Their company is always courteous and they even take their shoes off and lay mats down to keep your floors clean. I trust them to make an accurate diagnosis and complete quality work.

Our a/c was short cycling and unable to maintain a comfortable temperature, so we called Stoffer’s. Dakota came out to assess the situation, and fixed it quickly. This place is AMAZING!The Dispatch lady (Linda I think her name was) was So friendly, understanding, and very quick to get someone out to my house just 1 hour later that same day! Then My technician, DAKOTA showed up and was SOOOOO nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every thing he was doing and even went above and beyond to fix some not so well placed wires and ended up rewiring some things just to be nice y’all! When it came time to the always dreaded bill, ((nothing in AC/HVAC is cheap)) it was lower than other quotes to just “come out and look”! Dakota even made the wiring easier for me to see/read and troubleshoot for next time! Best experience I’ve ever had and would rate them 10 out of 10! The repair man was very nice. I told him what I thought the unit was having trouble cooling. He checked the freon found it a little low and added some. Stated it took a little less than a pound. He told me the fwe, I gave him a check, then he gave me a receipt and left. I wad a little surprised that he did not. check anything else out, because every repairman has always done that. But it is cooling good and I guess that is what he came out to fix. Not to check it out to make sure everything was working good. Thank you

Called to schedule annual service for my two units. The lady on the phone was very rude. She acts like she does not want anyones business. Bob and his son installed my two new units several years ago (at $10,000 +) I have always been pleased with their service. They took care of any A/C work on my rental properties also. I asked the phone person how Bob was doing she snapped back that he was retired. I said that I had known him for a long time and just wondered how he was. Again she snapped that he retired. I asked if his son still ran the company or was it under new ownership. She snapped, no it was still Stoffers. I had only asked that question because I had never been treated so rudely before and thought it may be due to new management. I tried to schedule the annual service but she doubled the already high praise when I reminded her that we have 2 units which they installed and they always do the service on them. She could not find a date until the end of May that someone could out. I told her that it seem very difficult to get an appt for maintance and the price very high I will have to wait until I have a problem with the units. I told her that we did not receive our maintance reminder this spring. The price she quoted me was double what the flyer price would have been. She rudely made some sound of unconcern and hung up. I have always thought that they have A+ service but that phone lady cost them a long time customer. By they way Im a customer who always pays her bill at the time of service or purchase. Wow, no customer loyalty from Stoffers anymore. You can tell that Bob is no longer running the company.

I am loyalist so when I encounter what I call World Class Customer Service the need for being the lowest priced (within reason) option is not important anymore because it is a lost art. These guys are great!! Our air conditioner went out on Labor Day, shortly after the hurricane. I really didnt expect them to answer their phone, and surely didnt expect same day service! The service was great and the cost was shockingly affordable. Thank you very much!!!

These guys came out in the winter to inspect my attic unit, which was stuck on. An hour later they discovered the unit needed a new relay board and they had everything working correctly. The next Spring, I called these guys back for an A/C inspection, and they repaired the clogged drain and topped off the refrigerant for a minimal charge. The entire unit worked flawless for another 5 years, and when the A/C compressor finally went out, I called them again to replace the outdoor compressor unit. Again, within a couple of hours, they had everything up and running and I have had no problems. The owner likes to drink coca cola and is very friendly.

I called them out to repair my unit. Jeremy came out and while installing a new blower motor in my upstairs unit, made a mistake, which blew out the head on the motor (and is probably the cause of my outside unit needing a new compressor and capacitors). He left to get another part and now refuses to come back and will not discuss with me why. I have asked several times to talk about what went wrong but cant get past the rude lady who answers the phone. She says He WILL NOT be calling you back! and hangs up. I DO NOT recommend this company! Am even wondering if Robert Stoffer knows how his company is treating long-time customers now. My A/C broke down on Friday night, he came on short notice on a Saturday, found the problem, ordered the part, put in a replacement part until the replacement came in and left me with working A/C without charging me a dime...He came back 3 days later and switched out the motor and only charged me 350 for the part. I would totally call them again and recommend them to all of my family and friends.
