Scheduling was simple and prompt. Technician called and texted before arriving very promptly. He was knowledgeable, but wasn’t afraid to ask questions, since we have a 100 year old house and it can be unusual and complicated. And even told me about a yearly maintenance service they do! Ed was right on time. He was very nice and professional. He explained everything that was done to my system to make sure that it had all the maintenance that it would need so that it would be ready for the spring and summer season. I felt like, he had it all under control and I am confident my air conditioning unit will be up to the task for a the upcoming winter season!

The crew arrived exactly when they said they would, and worked like crazy! It was such hot weather, so I cant imagine how much hotter it was in our attic. Nevertheless, those guys were cheerful (even singing!), polite, professional, detail-oriented, and absolute hard workers. Weve used Batjer before with equally good results, and will never use anyone else. From first contact to last cleanup, they did exactly what they promised in the friendliest way.

On this cool 91 degree day, my a/c decided to take a break. I submitted an online inquiry to Batjer because they were on their lunch when I called. I received a call not long after letting me know a technician could be out shortly. I met Arian at my house, he asked about the nature of the issue. He determined the capacitor was bad and had it replaced in short time. I am satisfied with Batjers responsiveness as well as the technicians demeanor and his troubleshooting/remedy. Thankful for their service and that we will have working a/c when the temperature returns to 100°+ for the next foreseeable weeks.

Batjer has been my go to for HVAC service for more years than I can remember. They have extended the life of air conditioner many, many years. The service guys are great to explain everything, clean up after themselves (even wearing those little shoe covers), and not minding “help” from the dogs.

Mason was very knowledgeable and polite. He explained and answered all my questions and put up with my little dog harrassing him throughout his endevour. I would definitley recommend him to anyone needing their services.

Mason was Amazing!! He basically took a look at needed to be fixed and had it fixed for n zero time flat which is saying something cause I personally watched him diagnose and put a new motor together in less that 20min. Absolutely would recommend him to ANYONE

Kelby was great! He fixed our A/C just by walking in the door! After calling numerous companies, I found Batjer and they sent Kelby out in just a couple hours. The other companies couldn’t respond for 5 days!! Thank you for your response and sending a tech that knew what he was doing.

I’ve been using Batjer for many years. We pay for their ‘twice a year check ups’ - once before turning on the heater in winter, and once before turning on the air conditioner in summer. They kept my heater/A/C running at my last house running for many years. And we are confident they will be able to do the same for our unit at the new house. This week Ed was our latest technician… He cleaned up the outside unit, and checked the inside as well. He tightened up all the leads, checked the Freon, and made sure the filters didn’t need to be replaced. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

We own rent property and have relied on Batjer for over 25 years. They’ve never let us down! They are always quick to respond, (even in the dead of night on a weekend!), always courteous, and always able to fix any problem we’ve ever run into. They are THE BEST and we highly recommend them to take care of your hearing/AC needs.

We had previously worked with Batjer. It was near a 100 degree day when our 23 year old unit quit cooling. We gave Batjer a call and they were quick to send a tech out to diagnose. They informed us the unit was in need of replacement. Of course we got a second opinion that yielded the same results - it was done. I requested quotes from both companies. John Lomax with Batjer was very quick to respond and he was right on the money. We gave the go ahead, they quickly started removing the old equipment while new equipment was on order, and the install was completed in a very timely manner. The entire crew was professional, performed clean work with minimal interruption during our work hours. Great work guys! You are highly recommended.

Really exceptional personnel and service. They just replaced our entire HVAC system, including the ductwork. The whole experience from start to finish has been really enjoyable. John and Pat came over to take readings for what was needed in our home. We felt both of them were very knowledgeable and helpful in trying to get us the best product for our needs. James and Michael came over to do the install and were very friendly and obviously very good at their trade. What we thought was going to be a week long project, they were able to finish in under 4 days. We are very pleased with the entire experience!

The technician that showed up was nice. He stated I would get a call the same day discussing a quote for a new AC and labor. Never received the call that day. I called the next day and they stated they hadn’t had time to do a quote. A man called back an hour later. It was stated I would receive an email with the quote. I have never received a call back or an email. That was 5 days ago. If you need help with getting your AC worked on, use another company. This company apparently isn’t interested in your business or cares about your AC being out in 100 degree weather.

The Batjer team committed to get it addressed same day and they did. Jason pulled a part from his truck and had it fixed in no time.

I was in a bind and they went above and beyond the call. These guys are probably the best in town and they are the only ones I call on for any of my heating and air maintenance or repairs. I am already on the maintenance plan with them which is very affordable. My outdoor unit died recently and they were able to replace the compressor and fix the system I had which saved me a bunch of $. Thank you Batjier!!!

We had Batjer install a Lennox variable heat pump system in July 2020. It has been great so far. After having the new system installed for a couple of months, we have noticed a massive drop in our power bill. Its been at least $100 a month less when compared to the same bill from last year. However, this is defiantly a your mileage may vary statement and not indicative of everyones experience. The power savings you see on a system replacement depends heavily on what you are replacing and what you are replacing it with. We happened to replace a very old and very energy inefficient system (from the 1980s) with a modern highly efficient variable speed system. The giant leap in energy efficiency between our old and new systems translated into massive savings on our power bill in our specific case.While these variable speed systems cost extra when compared to a more traditional single-stage residential split system, the comfort level offered by this variable system is a night and day difference when compared to the traditional systems. It is so quiet when maintaining a temperature and the temperature doesnt jump around in the living space since it can maintain a setpoint using a really low speed. It will kick on very low just to maintain and you can hardly hear it... our air handler is in a closet next to the living room so it used to be obvious when it was running. The old unit would drown out everything while it ran. If you are changing the temperature setpoint on the new unit, it will spin up a little faster to meet the temperature demand, thus be a bit more noisy but once it catches up, it goes back in to a really quiet maintenance mode.The install crew from Batjer got it all done in a single day and somehow managed to fit the air handler in a closet that barely fits it. Very professional and work was done correctly.I would recommend them if you want a quality job done right.

Had a new heating and cooling system put in on John Lomaxs recommendation. Very happy with it. Cut my energy cost by 60%!! Mike Pence(no not the vice-president) and crew had it installed in one day with no problems! ! It was a big ticket purchase but money well spent!!!!

BEST customer service in Abilene! This company installed and serviced the HVAC on the house I recently purchased before I bought it. I called because I was having a minor issue. Shannon explained to me what service occurred 6 months prior and the issue that was found during that call. She asked if the non-HVAC issue was resolved. (It had not been resolved.) I resolved that issue myself for less than $10 in under 30 minutes. Shannons knowledge of the situation saved me time and money; no unnecessary service call for an already known issue. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. This will be the ONLY HVAC company I will ever call in Abilene again.
